I love the food here but I wish they would fix the house up. There are squirrel holes in the facia, the front porch has areas that need repair, etc. They could use someone to do a make over on the house and landscaping.

Breakfast food was mediocre, eggs cooked properly but they forgot the onions in the hashbrowns. Biscuit was okay but gravy was lacking in flavor. My whole meal was cold. The Spanish omelet was extremely good as was the breakfast sandwich. The brisket sandwich was a hit but the fried pickles were a little different than we expected. They were a bit too thick and spicy. Atmosphere was quant, clean and staff was pleasant. I would give them a second chance on my breakfast since everyone elses meal was good.

I have been coming here for years and I mean years!! The food is still very good but they really need to stop selling pies or buy them from a bakery. Saturday we ordered coconut pie $ 4.50 a slice and no way if I was an owner I would want to serve it to a customer. We even told the waitress we didnt like it and she said Im sorry. No let me refund you, or get you something different. This will not deter me from returning but they lost a dessert customer. Sorry I did not make a photo.

This is such a cute restaurant. I went with a friend for Saturday breakfast and had a great experience. The location is cute, all of the employees were very kind, pricing was great for the portions, and the food was awesome! Parking: There was a parking lot on the side of the building and several spots to parallel park in front of the building.

Had a really nice early dinner here before a concert up the road at the Grand Theater. Lots of great diner options. I got the catfish which was very well cooked and nice and flaky. My wife had the chicken fried steak which she really enjoyed. For a place that has a full bar, they close super early on the weekend. Guess theres not a lot of nightlife in Lewisville.

Older historic building. Very cool story behind it. Great greasy spoon brunch feel. Pancakes and Waffles from their batter are fluffy and stay fresh. Coffee is very well done and they keep the cups full. Observant staff, great work!

The food at Main Street Cafe is average and will do the job. We had the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs and grits. Unfortunately, the eggs had an off taste, like avocado, which was unpleasant. We mentioned it to the waitress, who kindly offered to replace them, but it was already the end of our meal. The coffee (not good) lacked real creamer and they used Aunt Jemima syrup. Additionally, the inside was cold, so I recommend bringing a sweater or opting for patio seating. On the positive side, the waitress was excellent. Overall, the restaurant is just okay. ---

Main Street Cafe in Lewisville was a highlight of our trip to Dallas! Our server (I didn t get her name, she wears a nice cowgirl hat), she was so welcoming & kind, she had excellent customer service! This place has so much potential. Really cute building, great location. But we hardly ever go even though we live right here in town. Service is always sketchy, and the food is just meh. I think they just dont train their wait staff. Ive gone there twice, and whoever the server is, we end up with the wrong thing on our plates, or they forget to bring things weve asked for, or bring the wrong order all together. I hope they figure out a way to improve because our little town does need more good eateries.

First time visiting here. Was served the wrong drink first and then service was sporadic for the rest of the meal. Food was awesome. I had ordered chicken fried chicken but the server must have heard CFS instead. It was one of the best I ve had in a long time. Got biscuits and gravy as my bread product and while the biscuits did not seem homemade, they were very tasty. My spouse had the pancake special and the pancakes were huge and flavorful.

I fully stopped here because of how cute it was. Me and my dad were out in Lewisville for some car business and wanted to eat. Our server was very kind and attentive, and she went above and beyond and made a fresh brew of decaf. The main issue here is the food. My dads hash browns were clearly the last of the barrel, and everything else was kinda over crispy or over cooked. Or just okay. Also a fork was nasty with gunk. I was left unimpressed. The hash browns were just egregious really. My chicken and waffles were okay its hard to mess up. I would not come back. For such a cute/historic location I think adding some warmth and care to the food/cutlery thats provided will really elevate this place.

We visited on Saturday March 16, 2024. We came for the catfish. It used to be the best. Not anymore. The batter was way too corny. Too salty. Ordered the chicken breast entree with two sides. Side salad. Chicken breast - well seasoned , thin as paper. Wheres the other half of the breast? Mashed potatoes - boxed not home made and runny. Gravy was decent. Mac n cheese- very bland taste like yellow noodles. Side salad - bagged salad, no croutons like the menu stated one slice of tomato. Overall not very satisfied. Also the young lady that took my order couldnt answer any questions about the menu. For instance is there a side salad or is it the dinner salad in which she said they are different portions but the same price. Confused. The girl-child and I decided to try this place out because (a) the food looked good, and (b) it opens at 6:00 a.m. Aside: what gives with breakfast restaurants not opening until 7 or 8? Its breakfast, you slackers. Did you know that theres not a single breakfast joint that I could find in Flower Mound (apart from IHOP) that opens before 7? Okay, rant over. The girl-child is going off to college out-of-state next year so this was the last year of our annual Valentines Day early morning Dad-Daughter breakfast date. Bittersweet indeed. Anywho, we went to Main Street Cafe because wed never been there before and everything was outstanding. Even that early in the morning, the hostess and our server were super friendly, and the patrons all seemed happy to be there. Great interior and exterior ambiance in what I suppose is still the Old Town Lewisville area. The food itself is delicious, though the breakfast menu is relatively small. I got Mikes Special and she got the Farmers Omelet. Both were outstanding! Service was quick and the prices were decent. My eggs -- which I care very, very much about-- were perfectly over easy. Excellent hash browns and the mushrooms and tomatoes and ham were perfectly grill-kissed. The alcoholic drink menu was an impressive flex at zero-dark-thirty. We politely declined. We will definitely be back!

Great staff ! I really thought Alex was a terrific bartender and so was Tanya! The food was delicious and I had a great time hanging with the locals at this unique spot.

Main Street Cafe is such a cute restaurant. I got the biscuits and gravy, sliced tomatoes and potatoes. Would highly recommend. There is indoor and outdoor seating here. Great pricing

From out of town and just found this place. What a great meal. Huevos Rancheros with over easy eggs (not scrambled). Great level of spices and the warm salsa was really nice. Service was great as well.

We had a good experience while visiting from out of town. The food was pretty average but satisfying. The best part of our visit was the service, Dani C. was so amazing. She was super attentive, friendly and super sweet. You made our visit so enjoyable. It was my sons birthday he was so happy after we left. Thank you again Dani

This place used to be really good. Now it is loud the food is terrible and the service is mediocre at most. The biscuits were doughy and heavy the gravy had no flavor, it was inedible. I ordered a piece of toast so that I was able to eat my breakfast. I will say the over medium eggs were cooked to perfection. My daughter-in-law enjoyed her blueberry pancakes. Will definitely not be coming back.

We decided to try something new in the area and came across this quaint place with delicious food. They serve breakfast all day, so it was a win for us. The server (Logan?) was very attentive and refilled our drinks without prompting and brought our food out quickly. We really enjoyed our dining experience and will be back to try other offerings.

I loved this place! I work nights so its a plus for me! I can have breakfast, lunch or dinner at 6am! Plus they have a full bar open at 6am also
