I ended up going here 2 days in a row. The first time I had the Cheeseburger, which is cooked smash style. It was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of char. I went back the next day and had the wings. The wings were large and juicy in a wonderful citrus hot sauce. All of their beers are top notch as well. I had the kolsch, the pilsner and the lager which were all refreshing and delicious.

They mostly deal in pizza as far as food goes. My tablemates that had pizza were quite happy! I ordered the bo-diddly salad, which was cubed fresh beets, blue cheese, and pepitas on spring mix lettuce with a delicious dressing. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Its a casual bar atmosphere. A good place to get together with friends! This space used to be the Taco Garage. Wheelchair accessibility: One lady in our group was in a wheelchair, so theres access.

We love this place! The staff is sooo nice, attentive and fun! There are so many breweries in SA right now but they are my top favorites. The food is excellent. I am Italian - meaning I make my own pizza and their pizza is really good! So yes this is the spot! I am not a huge beer drinker but hubby is and the beer is great too! This place deserves 10 out of 5!

Pizza is really thin and not ideal for all their toppings. It was very HOT and when I asked about A/C they said it was on but it s just hot. It was ridiculous hot in there. My daughter ordered a pizza and they completely forgot my son s pepperoni pizza. I had to ask them and they completely dropped the ball, which means their system needs to be checked. For the money we spent I d recommend dominos over this place!!

Wild Barley has become our local weekly hangout spot with live trivia on Monday nights. The food is always outstanding - and when it isnt, they bend over backwards to make things right. The beer... OMG the beer! The brewmaster knows his stuff, every beer he puts on tap is outstanding. From IPAs to Stouts to Hefeweizens to Pilsners to Ports to Tripels to Quads... This guy knows what hes doing, and the food pairings just elevate it to the next level. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options on the menu - no need to make special requests. Dietary restrictions: While not gluten free, sourdough bread is acceptable for some gluten sensitive folks. The bacteria that creates the sourness does something to the gluten that changes the way it affects people. Everything in Wild Barley is sourdough - the bagels, the bread, the buns, the cinnamon rolls, the biscuits, and the pizza. Kid-friendliness: Outside seating (in season) with misters and fans and board games and cards on a shelf to entertain kids of all ages. Wheelchair accessibility: The whole place is flat - the parking lot and the whole floor is one level. There is a slight ramp up to the bathroom and private dining area.

My friend and I shared the Rio Grande sandwich and beet salad. The salad was huge and was plenty for two. All the bread for sandwiches and pizza is freshly baked sourdough. The sandwich was the best turkey avocado sandwich I ve ever had. Everything we ate was high quality and fresh. Everyone visiting San antonio should visit. If you live in San Antonio, this is a great place to enjoy an evening or lunch with freshly brewed beer and delicious food!

Amazing food and beer. Started with tasters and ended up with a flight because they were all so good. At the end of our visit discovered their Belgium Quad... great beer! We had a lox sandwich and urban cowboy off the breakfast menu. Then snacked on in house chips witha side of flavored cheese. They switch out beers regularly. Very excited to see what they have when we come back through San Antonio. The outside looks a little run down, but as soon as you walk in- its awesome. I would have missed it if we hadnt known about it. Great find!

I was getting my car serviced at Gunn Nissan, and decided to walk and get a bite to eat. I stumbled across this place, and I am happy I did. The atmosphere was inviting and had many options. Service was great and helpful. Breakfast, lunch, dinner all with homemade in house sourdough bread. Homemade chips were also quite tasty. Fresh ingredients and homemade bread make a sandwich. I will definitely recommend and return.

Dined at Wild Barley Kitchen for a date night with my partner. Wild Barley is a knockout! We ordered a 10 Seta Y Jamon - the roasted mushrooms, garlic confit, prosciutto, mozzarella..when I tell you everything about the Seta Y Jamon is amazingly delicious EVEYTHING ABOUT IT IS DELICIOUS. We paired our meal with a Mur de Barley and On-Sight. Five out of Five. Ambiance was casual, friendly, edgy, and very chill. Will definitely be back.

We were recommended to try this place and their pizza since their dough is sourdough. Service was great, we were helped to make a decision on our beer and pizza. We tried the chicken pesto pizza with added grilled onions and it made for a very decadent, flavorful pizza. Beer selections were plentiful. We had the friendliest, most outgoing servers/bartenders/pizza makers - they were so nice even though we arrived during the last hour they were open. Well be back!

Stop by to check this out especially since it was near the airport. Very interesting place. I tried the Urban Cowboy sandwich which came with homemade house chips. Husband tried the Hot Club sandwich and son tried the special sandwich of the day, which was a meatball sandwich. They were all delicious, according to each eater. The server came by to check on us and explained the meatballs were made by 2 part beef & pork and 1 part lamb. The sourdough bread was great and toasted perfectly. Next time we want to try out the beer.

We had such a good time at Wild Barley. The service was super friendly and quick. We got lucky with an absolutely beautiful night to sit on their covered patio. We tried all their hoppy beers and they were quite good. For food, we had the cheesy bread, wings, and the burger. The burger was my favorite.

Breakfast sandwiches and lunch with exquisitely prepared meats - todays Reuben used corned beef prepared in a 14 day brine and in-house fermentation of the cabbage, accompanied by hand made, thick cut BBQ potato chips. Always in awe of how Wild Barley has overcome what could be a major intersection nightmare location and made it their own oasis of family friendly environment with insanely patient, professional staff. Had a great Reuben sandwich and my wife had the Classic breakfast sandwich. Both were excellent and the meats were remarkably good. Sampled the Pacific Flyway pale ale and the Overnight Oats oatmeal stout. Both were very tasty. Service was friendly and cheerful. We were greeted promptly and we were helped with our choices for sandwiches and beers. I highly recommend this Brewpub if you like good beer and good food.

Ive been here a few times, and its always amazing. We recently moved from Tucson, and Im so glad I found a comfortable, clean place to enjoy. The beer and food are fantastic. The staff is great. My wife and I came for lunch with our under 2 year old child and had a great time. We didn t have any beer, but the food was fantastic and the space outside was perfect for our kid to run around and play. The staff was super friendly and helpful and even gave our daughter a free plate of food to eat. Kid-friendliness: Good highchairs and space outside for kids to runaround and play.

Great atmosphere!! We had a large group and we sat under the large tree outside. The waitress knew exactly what she was doing she got the orders right the first time with no problems. Its great to be able to have a good waitress this was really a pleasure. Oh let me say the food is very good

What a great brew pub! Both the beer and pizza are killer. We ordered their Blanca Pizza, dark Czech Lager and Festbier. All three were very tasty. The pizza came topped with fresh basil and fresh mozzarella, thin and crispy with barely any flop, surprisingly light and a great companion for the beers, which were malty and crisp. We sat outside on the rustic decorated patio and enjoyed the classic rock playlist while sampling their delicious wares. Absolutely recommended.

Best damn sandwich Ive ever had. Im from VA, but if you live in SA, this should be a regular spot for you. Holy Hell. Im an IPA guy. The 2 they currently have are outstanding. Prices are on par with restaurants that are FAR worse. Ill be back.

I was not aware of Wild Barley Kitchen but was completely blown away! Their service was fine, their food was excellent and their beer was quite tasty. I will certainly return and bring friends! Very laid back atmosphere with excellent staff. The pizza was very good with the wings being good. The flavor on the wings were excellent with them being smoked prior to frying but this also made them dry I feel. So good.

Excellent service and food! All employees worked together to help each other get us comfortably settled and served while setting up for a game activity. Will definitely be going back! Dietary restrictions: Several of us are partial to vegetarian options. Everyone (6) cleaned their plates! Husband couldnt get enough coffee. It was delicious.

Such a great brewery and restaurant! All of their beers are brewed to perfection. The food is always a slam dunk and we have enjoyed every meal here. We visited to play trivia semi finals, and the staff had the entire event so well organized. It was awesome to see them go above and beyond for all the teams competing.

WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! We were looking for a new restaurant to try, and decided to head to Broadway to see what was new. Wild Barley has an amazing menu, and the quality of the food was over the top. We had the roasted beet salad, roasted Brussels sprouts, veggie pizza and a burger. Ate it all! The ranch dressing we got was home made and we recommend this for all. Dj playing in the patio and craft beer to boot. Go and check it out!
