I recently visited Mayer s Garden in Dallas with a social group, and it was an outstanding experience! Mayer s Garden went above and beyond to provide our group with the best possible service. Everyone enjoyed the drinks, food, and vibrant atmosphere. Special thanks to Cole, Taliah and all staff members, who were attentive and made sure that everyone had a fantastic time. The venue is perfect for groups, with a lively vibe that s great for socializing. We had an amazing time, and I highly recommend Mayer s Garden for any group gathering or casual night out!

We didn t have any food this visit, but drinks were yummy. My only criticism is the white cosmo should be served in a martini glass. I loved the flavors of the drink but since it takes me some time to get through a martini the ice watered down and a martini glass would be a better fit for the magnificent cocktail. Our server was great. we will be back.

I ve been going to Mayer Garden since I moved to Dallas and it s always a great time! Recently threw a birthday party for my friend here and Cole hooked us up! We had the covered patio, a champagne toast, and wonderful service. If you re looking for good people, good service, and a good time - I HIGHLY reccomend Mayers Garden!

Ordered a negeoni but couldn t make due to being too busy (it s 3 1oz ingredients). Gave very clear instruction for 2 drinks (2 fingers in a peace sign) and charged me for 3. Didn t dispute, but it was very unfortunate and unethical. Would have tipped more.

A great spot for refreshing cocktails and good food, Mayer s Garden features plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a large bar and several TVs - great for any sports season. I grabbed apps and drinks with my spouse we absolutely enjoyed it! The server acted friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They gave great recommendations. You need to try the elote dip, for sure! Bring your partner and/or group of friends because Mayer s Garden serves as a great place for any day of the week! Vegetarian options: Mayer s Garden offers limited vegetarian options but, offers a free switch to the Impossible meat(less) patty for their burgers. Parking: They offer plenty of free parking in their private lot. Kid-friendliness: Mayer s Garden is a sports bar so I recommend adults only!

Came here for some trivia with some friends. The old fashioned I got was way too sweet. The other cocktail was also too sweet for me. The chicken sandwich was fresh, but bland. The honey mustard sauce for my tots made it a little better. So, for my personal tastes (which I completely understand dont match everyones), I wasnt a fan of the food and drinks. That being said, the trivia was fun, and the staff were attentive, so I still had a good time, so Ill give 4 stars.

First time visiting this place. It has its own parking lot, and although there were many people, we found space in the parking lot. We werent very hungry for dinner so we just ordered some nuggets that were very delicious, the chicken very soft. We ordered some drinks, and they were also very tasty. For a sports bar that is always super busy, Mayers has excellent service. The servers are always on top of drinks and the food comes out quickly. We live in the neighborhood so have known of this establishment since it opened but have been hesitant to try it, however based upon various positive reviews we decided to try it for brunch today-- I really wish wed continued to listen to our hesitancy and not. Our actual server, when we saw him, was charming. Everything else about the experience was just bad: drinks quality, food quality, the other staff we interactioned with. Wont be wasting our money here again.

Come for the drinks and great atmosphere! Food was decent, but I would prefer to eat elsewhere first before coming here for a beer or cocktail. I had the Texas Cheesesteak - quality of the ingredients was good but the sandwich composition didnt seem like there was enough care put into it (cheese sauce all on the top, dry bread and beef at the bottom). The side of fries were quite good. A friend got the Portobello nuggets, which were a fun snack. Overall good without being great.

Heard about this place on TikTok and thought we would give it a try for a girls night out on a Monday. The only reason why I can give a two star is because the drinks were good and apps were decent. However, my service experience was not the best as a first time customer. We had Kelly as our server. In the span of 3+ hrs we only saw her 4 times. She was more attentive to her other customers. Unfortunately, those were the tables filled with white people and we were a table of black women. Didnt ask if we wanted to order more food or drinks. Just cleaned our table and walked off. And because of the service we received, I will not be back. Hopefully no one else receives that type of customer service from her in the future. My only advice is treat all your customers equally.

The tall bartender with the girlfriend bartender need to go. Disrespectful, disgusting attitude, abusing power, 0 general customer service. They think they run the bar just because they are dating. NEWS FLASH: work and relationships never mix well. They are screwing you guys over with the loss of business. People were leaving just to not deal with them as staff. Mayer s Garden has always been a nearby favorite of ours and specifically I always felt comfortable going with just my dog and I when my husband was working for dinner or a drink. I hadn t been in a few months but decided to go tonight and get a drink and have my dog socialize because he loves it. I went to a table outside and sat for a while and a big group sat across from me and we chatted while we waited. After a couple of minutes a waitress came out and took the group s orders and I assumed she would come to me after. She didn t. So then I m assuming some other server had my table. I wait for 20, 30, then 40 minutes and no one comes to my table or acknowledges that I m there. Going out alone was always a fear for me and I never felt excluded at this restaurant, until today. Unfortunately,I think you guys lost a frequent customer. It s one thing to wait at a table for 20 minutes until your server notices or is caught up, I understand that, which is why I waited. But waiting almost an hour by myself and not one person came up to me on a Saturday night was awful. If you re giving Mayer s Garden a first try please do because the drinks, food, and normally the customer service is great, but if you are a singular person going out, I wouldn t recommend it anymore.

Randomly stopped in after a trip to Northpark and I m glad we did. Honestly, I kind of had low expectations going in (I was expecting cheap bar food) but was pleasantly surprised. On the corner of Henderson & Belmont, where Jakes had once been. Great spot! Nicely decorated in and outside seating, and bar seating too. Lots of shareable starters, so we chose Hummus, Nuggies, and Deviled Eggs. The bacon jam topping on the Eggs is delightful! It can be added to Meyers burger, which we did. Along with shrimp cocktail, Carnitas taco, and Chicken Sandwich. Also opted for loaded fries. Great food. Wonderful location!

Visited on a Monday and found out that they have happy hour all day on Mondays. We fell in love with the elote dip but other appetizers were good such as the taquitos. That was during the day and not a lot of people were around and service was amazing. Amazing service! Sometimes henderson bars get over crowded and you have to wait for drinks, but this place takes care of you! We were greeted immediately by Austin who made sure we were taken care of all night! We highly recommend the chicken nuggets and the Prickly Pear shot. What a great addition to the neighborhood! To start, the hostess was amazing, welcoming & friendly. The wait staff & bartenders we re equally great all seemed happy to see us & took the time out of their busy work schedule to come & pet our two dogs! Great new bar on Henderson that every Dallasite should try, if not make a staple of their bar rotation. The interior is nice, with a 4-screen tv at the center that usually plays as one huge screen. Plethora of TVs throughout the rest of the bar as well- hard to get a seat without a view of a tv. The Turtle Bite shot is very good as are the frozen cocktails. The food is good with the queso and chicken bites taking the lead. But at the end of the day, the environment is second to none. It s very open air, with a high quality finish making this an exceptional spot on the east side of Dallas. (Patio is dog friendly)

We had an awesome experience here on their first day open! You expect some craziness on day 1, but the staff was super nice and courteous, seating us and our toddler quickly. We tried the portobello nuggets, the taquitos, the BLT, and the kale salad. The kale salad felt like it was missing something, but otherwise the food was AWESOME!!!!! BLT 10/10 must have. Drinks list was extensive and had a nice selection. The interior is super cool and the patio has been really well redone. This will definitely be our new neighborhood hangout spot. So thrilled to have a nice place like this in walking distance to bring friends and family.
