it could be better, improved. It should be free during the day and even free for most shows. I know its a club but should operate like a regular dive bar with happy hour during the day and some nights. Serve cheap bar food too would be a step up in the game

Please do better. Whoever owns this spot needs a lecture on business management. First of all when I walked into the door there s nothing but the smell of cannabis. I understand that this is the culture however things got progressively worse. First the bartender had no idea where the Henny was and couldn t locate the Red Bull. He just stood there staring at the bar. I m pretty sure he was high. Then when my husband decided to purchase the Henny which was apparently $10 he shorted us $2 in change after paying with a $20 bill. And then he argued with us that he poured a triple when half of the liquor ended up on the bar. Super disappointed in this place and what it s supposed to represent. We are from the islands and was really hoping to find a home bar to interact with our peeps but now that s a lost cause. No pics cause I m so pissed.

Never going back there. Like another person stated. They have a white boy on the DJ paying techno music. The manager claiming there was some event. Barely anyone there and the bathrooms are disgusting . The bar tender was nice, but even then, it s a cash bar and they have an ATM that charges $4.50 in fees. I m thinking that we would have some luck as Caribbean people, but it s all a fake place. They need to change the name and how they advertise that place! There was no food there either!!

We re here in Texas on vacation and idk if we went to this bar on a bad day or time but as a born and raised Jamaican, this place was NOTHING like a Reggae bar!! All we heard was techno music and the crowd was nowhere near Jamaican. We got dressed and headed there only to turn right back out. This is a regular, casual bar, NOT a Reggae Bar!!!!

Talk about dive bar with a vibe! This hole in the wall bar wins me over with the open atmosphere, bumping reggae music and the easy conversations we had with the staff. We learned the shift of management plans to add more live music and authentic island-style food. I love me some jerk chicken! Hope to be back and experience their vision.

One of the best bars on San pedro and one of the only reggae bars in san Antonio... the bartender Tiffany is very beautiful has a great body, vibe and attitude... drinks are on point and you definitely wont leave disappointed. This is a must visit and might I add the happy hour food from 4-6pm and 11 to 12 is so so bomb.. if you dont try it your missing out

It is a small establishment with BIG heart and sound! Live music was spectacular and varied. Only a $5 cover. It was packed with friendly, down to earth people. I felt very welcome. Highly recommend. Would have given it 5 stars if they served food

This is the home of Reggae music in San Antonio I love the new location close to downtown and San Antonio College on San Pedro St. They always have some kinda special on beers or drinks Full Bar , plenty of room to dance to your favorite Reggae music. Reggae bar is very much like the Jamaican spots youll find in Bronx or Brooklyn NY. Its not a club type scene. Its more of a chill and hang out spot youd find in your neighborhood. Its a good and refreshing feel as opposed to all the other cluba in San Antonio because this bar plays mainly reggae and mostly dancehall music. If youre not familiar with Dhall music google it (Mavado,Vybz Kartel, Alkaline, Busy Signal,Spice, Shensea etc. ). The crowd is mostly Jamaican and Caribbean people. Very low key and chill. Dont go buying an outfit to go to Reggae bar. Lol. You literally can wear anything and youll be fine. Come and dance the night away. Come jiggle up yuh body and shake up yuh uh huhhhh. Lol. Jamaicans are late to everything it gets busy literally one hour before closing. -_-. Its free entrance, liquor and beers are cheap. They have Guinness and red stripe!!! They also have Wrey and Nephew JAMAICAN rum to my surprise. The bar is cash bar only, there is parking in the front. THEY ARE CHANGING LOCATION AS OF JANUARY 2018.
