Coming here made me so upset. This my families first times coming to this location and trying the food. First off the lady at the drive window was extremely rude and had an attitude. From the moment she spoke on the speaker she had a huge attitude problem. We were then told that our food would come out in 5 minutes but it then took close to 15 to 20 minutes for it to come out. Now, after we received the food, the chicken had no flavor what s so ever and the batter was horrible. This will be the last time I come to this location and the people who owns this company needs to do something about this place or just shut it down

Worst place to ever eat. We just ordered food here and I will never be back again. I don t normally make reviews but I m so upset and I m pregnant on top of that. I ordered chicken tenders picnic family meal the chicken was not battered and looked like the batter fell off. The chicken was way too salty. The 2 large sides came out 2 small mashed potatoe sides that are fake and that will not feed my family of 4. The okra was undercooked and still cold. She gave me 1 32 ounce sweet tea and not the gallon that it says on the menu. I love sweet tea but I couldn t even drink 1 ounce of it as it was pure sugar. I feel very sick to my stomach right now and the lady says they don t offer refunds and can only come back to store to get more chicken. No thank you. I want to throw up. What do you not understand I want to throw up that this chicken is not appetizing at all??? You will be dissatisfied and disappointed. The Indian lady that took my order was not accommodating at all and rude to my husband over the phone when he called up there. Do not try this place if you like fried chicken tenders. 0 star if I could.

My dad used to bring home takeout from the Forest Lane, Dallas location. I can remember how good it was back in the 70s. This McKinney location was good before they closed and reopened probably in the last year or so. There was a tiny African American lady that was a cook/order taker and a young Hispanic girl that worked the drive thru when the food was really good. But there was a problem with getting people to work and management wasnt available. Suddenly the place closed and, when it reopened, it was never the same. Out of chicken, out of cole slaw, stale rolls, not friendly... The chicken is normally okay but not consistent. I hate to give up but I might have to. Its too bad because the name is a Dallas icon.

DO NOT COME HERE. ITS DISGUSTING. Me and my friends were curious to try this place. we arrive and there s only 2 employees, one of which is doing everything from making food to taking orders and making drinks. except she was on her phone and didn t wear gloves. we ordered the food and she told us that they had to actually go and find the food in the back because they had none made. odd no? The interior was filthy and the kitchen was equally as gross. Then after waiting 25 MINUTES we got our food. mind you there s literally no one inside and 1 car in the drive thru. We ended up trying the food. the fries were soggy and flavorless, and the actuall chicken was soaked in grease and extremely hot and nasty. i couldn t finish anything and threw it away. same with my friends. when i got home my stomach was hurting BAD and i was in pain. Moral of the story is: if you want to waste money and eat nasty food and wait for 25 minutes for 2 peices of chicken and fries come here. -100/10.

This is hands down the WORST chicken I have ever had. We had ordered the chicken tenders, a three piece and some hot wings. The tenders tasted as if they only had salt on them and no other type of seasoning, my brother was able to get through 2 of the five that he ordered before throwing the rest away. The fried chicken was way overcooked and tasted bland, my gf took two bites and had to throw away the rest. The only thing that was somewhat tolerable was the hot wings, flavor wise they were bland and the buffalo or hot sauce that they used was not good, would be better off ordering them dry and throwing on some franks red hot Louisiana hot sauce or literally anything else. The only thing that made them okay was that they were actually cooked correctly. Even the drinks were bad!! They were flat. Im not sure if its poor management or just whoever was working there that day but it was just terrible. I wasnt expecting the best chicken Id ever eat from here but certainly not whatever I received. Overall just dont go here, go to KFC or popeyes or golden chick or even the hot food section at Walmart, anywhere else but here!!

I had literally the worst experience here. The women on the headset kept cutting me off mid-order. They forgot to put ice in our drinks. They then proceeded to park us and we waited for 30 minutes. The staff doesnt speak English bc they are Indian so you will be asked three times what you want and when recited back it will be wrong. The menu hasnt been updated. Prices for combos are being charged for chicken only. My 12 piece wings, fries, and drink cost $21.18 when the combo cost 15.99. I take my Williams Chicken very serious. (Update Review: 1Yr later.. Finally the chicken does not taste like Halal chicken. Thank you for whatever it is youve done for changes since my disappointing review) This was the worst Ive ever had Maybe whoever is frying stuff isnt taking the recipes serious.. Chicken was fried for too long or the frying oil was too old..flour was too salty My meal box for a 3 piece mixed with fries was the size of my fist and had 4 cold hard super salty fries..this clearly was not The All Spark I expected. Ive been to Williams Chicken all over the place and the service and quality of food was as horrible as the exterior appeals of a couple of Williams Chicken in the ghetto of Dallas combined. .. I got a 12 piece and asked for ketchup and they said they put some in the back , after checking and seeing one pack I asked for more and she gave me ONE MORE PACK. insisting that she put enough, upon getting to the house with my food I see an additional two packs of ketchup in the box. Thats 4 packs of ketchup for 12 pieces of this unseasoned chicken . With the introduction of new owners/managers, my assumption was that the culinary offerings would be of high quality. Upon arriving during dinner hours, I inquired whether the chicken was prepared freshly. Their affirmation assured me that it was indeed fresh and had just been cooked. I proceeded to place my order, only to receive lukewarm chicken. Regrettably, the thighs exhibited an excessively dry and fibrous texture, bordering on the absurd. The wings, too, were unnaturally tough, leaving me in a state of considerable frustration. My displeasure was such that I refrained from lodging a direct complaint on-site. Despite making several phone calls, my attempts went unanswered. Regrettably, I am compelled to declare that I will never patronize this establishment again. I have assigned a solitary star, as the system necessitates a rating for reviews. It is my belief that a fresh approach or an alternative concept should replace the current chicken-focused endeavor, prompting a potential closure of the establishment. Garbage!

This location has been closed for a while now. Went 3 times to see if they were open and they arent. There is a sign on the drive thru box that just says closed...family emergency. You can tell its been a while since they have been open by the over grown lawn.

THE TASTE OF THE CHICKEN WAS GOOD, BUT WAY TOO GREASY. THEY DID NOT HAVE HOMEMADE ROLLS. THE FRIES, I DONT KNOW IF THEY WERE OLD OR WHAT, BUT NOT GOOD. This is the absolute worst Williams ever. This is my 3rd bad review and I am so over this location. Every time I come here I always swear I would never return. Several months have passed so with high hopes o decided to try one more time. I ordered a 3 piece mixed with fries and a drink and two jalapeños. Got to the window grab my food and asked was the peppers inside the box. Very nice lady at the window apologized and told me no and then went got me a couple. I learned to check because my last visit was missing my peppers when I got home. Me to myself while driving off thank God I checked because I would have been upset when I for home Got home pulled the box out and the peppers, opened it and NO FRIES!! And they were for my grandson. I mean this with everything in me that I seriously am never returning and I am going to make sure to spread the word. I will be reaching out to corporate, the owner, GM and whoever else. And don t get me wrong I know all businesses make mistakes but I have not EVER had a positive experience here.

This is not a real Williams Chicken! The owners do not know what they re doing when it comes to frying chicken!! The okra tasted like they never changed the fryer grease. Same with French fries. The chicken I ordered was a 10 piece original right, why was my chicken spicy?? Since when does Williams chicken offer spicy chicken?? If you go to the Dallas location off Illinois and 35 they don t have spicy and not only that I didn t ask for spicy period so why was my chicken spicy I will never know. The chicken was no good we ended up with food poisoning. I recommend you go to KFC or Popeyes down the street!

Tbh prolly the worst Williams Ive been to, Chicken is barley fresh and when it is fresh it still taste suspect. Also I ordered a 3 piece mix with two breast and one thigh which they charged me for and ended up giving a breast with a leg and wing.. Definitely my last time spending money at this location The best way I can explain this place is you keep going back to a toxic girlfriend/boyfriend hoping they will change, but the result remains the same.

If I could give less than 0 I would. I pulled up, orderc3 lg sweet teas. Was told it would be a few since the car in front of me was waiting for chicken and if I preferred I could come inside and be helped quicker, which I declined because waiting was fine with me for the drinks.. Finally get to window after about 15 min only to be told they were out if sweet tea...no apology for inconvenience or any explanation as to why I wasnt told when I placed the order 15 min ago! Tried this place out today for lunch, won t be back. Ordered livers and was asked to pull up front as it will take 4 minutes to fry, 8-10 minutes later I went in to find out if it was ready only or see a box on the counter with no cashier. As I was going in I saw the cashier helping someone who left as I walked through the door so when the cashier told me the food just arrived she lied because I had a clear view of the counter from vehicle to inside. Now the quality of the food, HORRIBLE, fries were limp and Cold and the livers had a near burnt look, they were dried out and tasted like they were cooked in old grease. The roll was some cheap store bought cardboard. It was not a pleasant experience, don t waste your time or money.

First time visit to this location in McKinney. They do serve halal chicken. The owners are Muslim. Very friendly lady behind the counter and even met the nice gentleman who made the food. Do keep in mind that there is a wait time for your order as everything is made fresh and hot! We ordered the 10 piece family meal, 3 sandwiches, tenders, onion rings and corn fritters. Everything was made hot and on point. No complaints here. Will be back!

First time I went there a bunch of kids were running the whole scene and it was chaos. Place was filthy and the child at the counter was all rude with me for no reason. Took around 20 minutes to get a 3 piece combo. This time, I pull up to the window and am immediately greeted with, Give me a minute. 7 minutes go by and I ask if I can order again. The same reply, Give me a minute. So I went down the street to Golden Chick to get the same meal for 3 dollars cheaper and actually received good customer service. The broad majority of the new 5 star reviews for this place are obviously part of a review scheme. Nobody in their right mind could have actually enjoyed their experience here. What a joke.
