Our party was carded at the the door, then after we ordered our drinks the bartender made them and was then Carded a 2nd time for no reason. After complying they refused our service and poured our drinks out. I guess if you re white they don t want your money Thanks for the great memory of what to not look for in a bar

Chocolate martinis are the best and I ve never liked one anywhere else! Set it was great! Space is cool and the music is interchanging. Parking: Street parking by the bar is limited. But late (9:30pm) Sunday was plenty of space

Sansibar is a well suited drink. Not to strong not to sweet. My wife got the agua de isla and let me tell you this will kick off the night the strong tone of tequila will definitely put you in that celebration mood ! Love the vibes and atmosphere inside. You have to stop by and have a drink !

Stopped in on my anniversary this week. My partner and I loved the atmosphere down to the fresh flowers on the tables. Best espresso martini either of us have had! Try the noches de amor cocktail. It is so yummy! Will definitely visit again Service

Worst bar, the staff here are so egregiously policing people we kicked out for no reason with no proof of mis doing. Staff needs way more training on how to deal with such situations . This was a very chill boring night with no drama. Will not give this bar another chance.... And this the 5th time Ive been here over 3 years.

This place was fantastic and a great night cap for our food outing downtown. The venue has ample indoor and outdoor seating, packed full of smiling people. The DJ was absolutely killing it with one turntable, a mixer and Serato/Rekordbox? Either way, highly recommend this place for people who want to make some new friends, get some good drinks and just relax. I was outside having a heart to heart with a friend and when we went inside, it was like the vibe completely changed. The bartenders work their a$& off all night to make hundreds of those fancy cocktails! Anyways, solid spot. Food in front, party inside and you can dance without people getting upset. Spread the love and bring the good vibes. Thank you Amor Eterno for treating us so well *We Ubered here and did not have anyone underage in our group. We did not order food. This would probably not be kid friendly but what do I know?*

This is the worst bar in the city! The bartenders are super SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Be prepared to wait a loooooong time to get a simple vodka water. No training, zero atmosphere and it s tiny. Stupid front porch area that just bottlenecks the entrance. I would pay people to NOT GO HERE. Completely suks!!!! Parking: GOOD LUCK!! Lol. Zero parking

We went right at opening on a Saturday. We didnt have to wait long at the bar to order and there were plenty of seats. We decided to sit outside because the music was way too loud and the a/c was too strong. The mezcal drinks were tasty. If you get the Robs zombie, I recommend smashing the mint garnish down into the drink. It makes it all the tastier!

We landed here as a recommendation from our Uber driver, Roberto and it was just what we were looking for. The vibe, the setting, the music, the people, and the drinks were superb! Very cool bar, with a very esoteric vibe. You have to walk through the porch to go in, it s an old house transformed to a bar. When you go in, in front of you is the bar area and to the sides, which are the living and the dining areas, you ll find sofas and some formal chairs so you can drink and enjoy the vibe from this bar. The drinks were ok, nothing fancy. The people there were in their 30 s to 60 s age range. The half light ambiance makes it very relaxing and since the music is not that loud it s a good option to go for drinks and talk. I loved the fact that you can walk and go to different bars, this location is very convenient! We stayed almost 5 blocks from here and the area is very safe to walk around.

Amazing amazing magical place! All the bartenders are so awesome, especially JC! You have to try one of their house cocktails. My two favorites are the loco Hermosa & abuelita s night cap. One is a pistachio cream drink with a hint of apple & nutmeg, while the other is a hard hot chocolate with marshmallows. Also they give you a small bowl of chicharron & hot sauce to munch on & there s a taco truck outside. The ambience is like your grandmother s living room with candles everywhere and it smells very nice. On the weekends there is a live dj spinning records. I am so glad I found this place!

Southtowns newest and hottest craft cocktail bar. The vibe is fantastic: great neon but dim lighting, perfect temperature and fantastic fragrance from all the candles. The music is always on point by record spinning dj s who make it very fun and energetic. Service is top notch by these seasoned bartenders who can create the perfectly balanced cocktail including table servers who are on top if it refilling the house cucumber infused water. Bite options are available which are a spin off from some Mexican inspired favorites. Chicharrones with Valentina sauce, the perfect snack for a proper cocktail. A perfect addition to Southtown. I went to Amor for the first time about 2 weeks ago with a cousin of mine and was absolutely pleased with it. The ambiance of this tiki bar was fabulous and is the perfect fit for southtown san antonio. The bartenders were well versed and mannered and the dj there that night was playing all the good tunes! Given that it is a tiki based speak easy, the drinks are more cocktail focused than a typical bar with an extensive beer selection. It is a bit smaller inside and out given it was once a small coffee shop, so be prepared to not find too much seating if you go later into the night. Aside from the seating, it is a great place to go with a couple friends to have some cute & tasteful cocktails, socialize and have some great photo ops. I definitely will go back and recommend trying this place out if you are into more of the speakeasy bar scene.
