Too many people feeding ducks bread. Do your research. It is never a good idea. Pretty place but people have been littering and dumping non native ducks. Its super heart breaking. Very dirty and many many fishing hooks and line left everywhere.

It is okay. The river itself smells bad. There were several sprinkler heads busted on my last walk, with water just drenching the sidewalk. The grass and plants do look well taken care of, I will say that. I would not recommend the few restrooms unless its an emergency. The bums usually leave you alone. Picnic tables are usually covered in ants.

Picnic area: My daughter and I ate our lunch there today. Was NOT busy at all, probably due to it being 107° outside. We ate super fast but other than the heat it was very peaceful and we found the only picnic table that was shaded.

Nice place to walk, with some shade but be warned: shade is not everywhere. Theres plenty of pokemon go locations if youre in to that. The ducks and other wildlife is pretty friendly. I havent seen any snakes yet, so cant speak to that. There are some areas that stink but thankfully the majority of the area does not. Theres some nice scenery here.

A place like no other, at times magical, with a serene beauty and friendly charm. A special gift the citys forefathers and foremothers left for the people of San Antonio and her visitors. I often have to remind myself that Im in the middle of Texas. So much history has happened here. So many different cultures represented with a very vibrant one being the most noticeable. A visit to this city and especially its Riverwalk, its Paseo Del Rio, will change how you see Texas and will likely stay with you as an enchanting memory. San Antonians really have a special home they can be proud of, and it shows. Well done, San Antonio. Hold on to your heritage and dont let anyone change that.

San Angelo has a Beautiful Riverwalk. The renovations and restoration is so lovely to walk around downtown. Usually youll see vendors selling ice cream, snow cones and sometimes food trucks. But there are also may stores, shops and restaurants right downtown, just a few steps away.

This is a pretty place on the river in San Angelo. Abundant shade at this time with handicap accessible picnic table. Due to the pandemic my family went through a drive-through and went to the river to eat rsther than dining in. While mid-October the temperature today was about 90. There was a nice breeze off the river. While I did not see it one of my adult children told me there was a nice water feature a short walk from where I had to sit down. Everyone there appeared to be enjoying themselves and were maintaining social distancing in mostly family or friend groups. I do not live in this city and was happy to find a place outside that was pretty and walker accessable.

This riverwalk in San Angelo, TX is beautiful. A good place to relax during hot summer days. There was no entrance and parking cost. We took a break there during a 7hr long drive. The day we went there was super hot, and so, we could not enjoy properly. But this place surely relaxed our mind a bit and recharged us during our long journey.

A river front area can be one of 3 things. 1. Ye Olde Tourist trap 2. A place where you wouldnt want to park your van down by the river. or 3. A great place to go wander, look at the murals and sculptures and enjoy an evening. The river walk area around the art museum bridge was a nice area for taking pictures and watching a sunset. Now, a little warning, one evening we tried to go and the maps function sent us to an unlit section of trail, so we called it off that explore and started over. If you arent sure, start with the art museum and park in that neighborhood. Enjoy!

My family and I had a nice evening together seeing the Tour of Lights :: Concho Christmas Celebration. The light displays were cleverly made and themed to the song 12 days of Christmas. We tuned into a radio station that plays Christmas music throughout the season and just idled on through the trail of lights. Its really neat to see a community pull together and create an event where families spend time with one another while donating to a good cause.
