Went for the 1st time yesterday with friends. Loved my 1st bartender. She was a younger girl. Extremely attentive and sweet, and came over often to get our drink orders. When she switched out with the later bartender, for some reason the price of my drinks changed even though I had the same drinks. ?? Service became subpar and at times we were ignored so we decided to change bars. As I was closing out, I noticed the same drinks I closed out with the first bartender increased by a couple of dollars with the 2nd bartender! Id like to know why? Now Im seeing my card being charged more then what I closed my tab out with the 2nd bartender. I wouldnt recommend this place at all. Shame since the first bartender was amazing!

Meh... its a place for regulars. They dont even greet you, let alone ask you if want food or a beer when you walk in... plus it smell like a cigarettes and depression go somewhere else..

A very friendly bartender (Sarah) and nice regulars greet you as you walk in. Plenty of TVs for sports watching. We also tried the hangover fries which featured a fried egg, they were great. The chef was very considerate and came out to make sure we liked them.

This is by far the best bar menu Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Ive literally had everything and nothing disappoints. Best lemon pepper wings Ive ever had and some surprisingly delectable healthy options. Justin has made quite a few menu changes since taking over. Ladies and gentlemen we have tater tots. I love tater tots . Cheese sticks are delicious too and a bar staple the fish and chips isnt just for Fridays anymore. Street tacos are a sweet reminder that you are in fact in San Antonio and the Philly cheese steak is juicy and delicious. His breading has a bit of a kick to it and is bursting with flavor. Fried pickles and mushrooms are fantastic and if you need an even bigger kick he serves up regular ranch or spicy ranch as an option.

Very friendly service and staff, when youre there youre treated like family. Incredible food created in-house. From cocktails, beers, wines and craft beers. Outside patio with seating for smokers. I had to park an oversized truck at ( Rookies Too) because I had to get a pressurized hose repaired at Pirtec and their parking lot was full, so waiting on the hose I decided to have lunch at Rookies 2 and I was impressed, started out with chips and queso and got tri- color chips hot and seasoned just right, then I had the El Sancho burger and it was awesome and the fries were seasoned as well, Sarah was my server and wow is all I can say, she is a Lauren Bacall lookalike beauty, Definitely a good place to have fun and some good food...

Its ok. The smoking area door was too close to the main non smoking area and it was a little too smoky for me. Drinks were poured with a smile though. They also have a shuffleboard room. Digutal Jukebox was on sight but staff must have been playing their own Playlist and music was not enjoyable. Other patrons were very friendly.

This is a nice little locals bar of San Antonio. They drinks are cheap, plentiful, and over flowing. Clean environment and friendly staff. You can always come inside this bar and feel safe and strike up a conversation with anyone and find a commonality or enlightened conversation. They have a cozy outside area that nice to sit outside and enjoy a covered patio with those huge windmill fans. They do serve food there and the chicken wings are def winging in the best possible way. Meaty, well cooked and sauced with the perfect amount. Check this place out and leave a review. They have a healthy hand with serving you. So go there for drinks and have a great time but be safe about getting home.

Rude people.. rude bartender, never will go there again we went to get drinks and my friend stole a bag of chips that we were going to pay for.. that of course is not my responsibility but I offered to pay anyway and in turn I asked a simple question about the juke box going out and instead of just being nice and sincere and say I m sorry we don t do the refund she says .. like I flipped her switch.. says oh here I ll give you a dollar , and thru it at me which I find really rude I would have preferred her sincere honesty.. she became rude and arrogant since her manager was listening in.. mind you the manager never chimed in to help her out.. yeah.. just don t accidentally step on her toes.. she ll for evil on you.. pathetic

We needed a place to grab a drink and some lunch after flying into San Antonio from Virginia. When I tell you, everything from the atmosphere , the bartender (Sarah), the decor, the food and the drinks was incredible! Their house margarita, their homemade tortilla chips, and their sweet and spicy Asian wings are all reason enough to book another trip back to San Antonio! And to top it all off- their prices are unbeatable.

I was impressed with the buffalo chicken bar pie, which also had barbecue sauce on it. Crust was a combination of crackery and chewy, which was amazing, and the chicken and cheese were perfect. You dont see a lot of bar pies in San Antonio. I destroyed the whole thing alone in a sitting. Booze is reasonably priced and the barkeep, Victoria, was friendly and engaging. Cool place and will totally come back to play some shuffleboard on the beautiful tables they have in the room adjacent to the bar.

While the food and drinks were great (we got the burger week special and an order of buffalo wings), I have to give special shout out to the bartender/waitress who gave us the best dinning experience we ve had in recent memory.
