Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whatabuger has a good name and food for itself that honestly I do not think they should be open here in the San Angelo becuz the service starting fron the maintenance up to the high management the services have not only goes down but are very unacceptable to many customers as we speak. I know that I speak for many that do not leave reviews. What burger has had a good name for itself but here In San Angelo Texas there service really is trash. If its going to be a fast food restaurant well then why are we customers having to wait well over 10 - 15 minutes some wait for over an hour plus. If there is staff shortages and cant handle the demand of customers during known busy times and rush times, then close the business down and let other business handle it. We people go there to eat and waiting long on line is one thing that nobody likes. Not to mention waiting long and getting out from work tired the last thing you want to do is wait one hour for your food . And then cause faling asleep waiting long and then get in trouble for it when in reality Im there to make a business money and get food. Instead of getting good courtesy service I get cops called on and no food, misreated, beat up and picked up a case. Just because their slow incorrect services.thanks but. No thanks I wouldnt recommend eating at whatsburger , your better off take business elsewhere.

If I could give my experience a 0 star, I would. 30+ minutes waiting in the drive thru. My MIL did not get her full order (her burger was missing). She was told that they were getting it out as fast as we can. Now, mind you, there were 5+ employees loitering around the soda machine, talking and laughing. By the time we got our food, it was cold. Dont even bother going here. The employees do not care about you. Pt 2 Ordered a hatch green chili burger, but only wanted one patty. They said they dont do that, when Ive done that multiple times. They have me one price, but at the window it was more. Explain.

We came to San Angelo for one night from San Antonio and this was the only thing open right by our hotel, I got super excited when I saw they had the hatch green chili burger because they dont have them in San Antonio..... We got our food and went back to the room, when I opened my burger I was so pissed to see it was a patty melt and not the green chili burger. I had already changed in to my pajamas so I wasnt about to get re-dressed and go out again. It was a good patty melt, but I can get that any time here. Yall need to pay attention to your orders and make sure they are going to the right people.

By far the worst fast food place I ve been to in the state of Texas. We have been in the area for 4 years and not once has this location in San Angelo ever gotten our order correct. I went back to the counter 3 times today for an order that wasn t delivered correctly. I used to go through the drive through only to get home to find that either part of my order was missing or what I ordered wasn t correct at all. They even recite the order back when ordering through the drive through and still can t get it right in the bag. I have never seen this level of incompetence in staffing. Upper management should seriously think about your hiring and training programs before you become extinct like many other well known names and brands across the country. Me personally, my family and I will never visit or recommend one of your locations to anyone. There are far too many establishments in high competition to capture a percentage of market share to grow their companies and I have experienced far superior service with other brands . Dining in, we have never had an issue. Getting curbside has been a nightmare. It always takes longer than app says. Food taste like it was made day before. We got home and the cheese was not even melted, still in cold form they charged for cream gravy, we didn t get it and they forgot 1 fry. The fries were awful. My 3 year old has enjoyed dog food and wouldn t eat the fries the manager was very professional and said to go back up there to replace the entire place, which I appreciate but my child has to go to bed. $30 down drain for a terrible meal. Never again.

Every time I thought it might be a quick trip through the drive or inside I was mistaken. Cars stacked up and even though staff are friendly I don t have the time to sit and wait for a fast food business to take as long as a sit down dinner for a three course meal. Not impressed & it will be a long time before we return! Order to go all messed up. One hamburger was left out of our order & the sauce was not as ordered for the chicken strips. No napkins or ketchup for the cardboard french fries. Grilled chicken on sandwich was tasteless. All I can say is that 2 of 3 of us had low quality food that filled our bellies. The only delicious thing was a milkshake, but how can that be messed up? When we called about the shortage we were referred to the company toll free number, but its just not worth the trouble! The food was perfect. The stakes were not too runny. The soda wasnt flat. The workers were happy to take my order. They politely asked me, May I take your order? No attitude at all. Other places weve been to say, What do you want? So rude! The tables and most importantly, the restrooms were clean and it wasnt loud. We will definitely go back to this Whataburger!
