So a few unfortunate negatives.sep. 20, 2024. Tonight I stopped by this Jack n the box and for the third day Ive gone here when I order a small frie or small soft drink Im always told they only have medium or large? Is this a way to upcharge me? Yet on the drive through window there is a sign that if I donate to a particular cause I will be given a small order of fries? Also I ordered 8 tacos and was charged for 8 tacos and if course when I got home there was only 6. Ugh since I didnt want to drive all the way back to Jack in The box I looked at the telephone number on the receipt so I could call it and ask for them to give me a couple of more tacos when I go back and of course the number says that it cannot take calls because the mailbox is full?. And lastly my tacos were cold and the french fries which were a medium-sized were also called and pasted old. I am so disappointed with this Jack in the box. Jack in the box on Gaston avenue in Dallas Texas can you please do better. #HungryInEastDallas

Update 8/10/24 Service had gotten better but were back to gatekeeping the condiments and napkins. Made two orders specifically because I was trying to get sweet and sour sauce. Didnt get it. How does that happen when its on the tickets?! UPDATE: Its even less helpful when the owner provides a website to report the issue that doesnt work. SERIOUSLY DO BETTER Every time I order egg rolls from this jack in the box, it put in the notes to add the sweet and sour sauce. I never get it. Its been 15 times in the last few months that again no sweet and sour sauce. The egg rolls arent great on their own so I just throw them out. Its a ridiculous that I have to physically be at this restaurant to get the condiments that come with the food. I tried to call today and ask what else do I need to do if Im getting delivery to get the sweet and sour sauce and theyve hooked their line to the fax machine. So they dont even bother answering. Its bad customer service. If I had a vehicle I would just go get it myself but if you offer delivery, I shouldnt have to.

I attempted to place an order through the drive thru for 2 crispy chicken wraps. Upon making a special request for light sauce, the cashier interrupted me asking is that it? I asked did you get the light sauce on those? to which he said drive around when youre ready. I drove around and when he approached the window, he confirmed my order (without the special request) and I stated to him I was in the middle of my order asking for light sauce to which be replied I couldnt hear you. He never once asked me to repeat my order nor did he say he couldnt hear me. I responded that I would much prefer him communicate that he cannot hear me than cut me off mid sentence as it came off as very rude. He then says I wasnt being rude to you, while waving his hand dismissively and turning to his register. At that point, I asked if he was the manager on duty to which he replied no then proceeded to refuse my order before closing the window. I parked to go speak with a manager about my experience and found the same cashier locking the lobby door. The wheelchair accessible entrance was already locked (a problem in itself). I shouldnt have to say this, but let me be clear: I did not escalate the conversation or otherwise threaten the cashier to warrant him locking the lobby. His actions were shocking (and insulting) and I have never before experienced that at an establishment. I have sent an email via the heyjack website so well see how this is addressed, but the other reviews describing the employee on drive thru fits the same description from their experiences-- he needs to be specifically disciplined up to and including termination. He was very impatient, rude, dismissive and unprofessional.

You know Jacks is just what it is. I always get the stuffed jalapeños with ranch. Its like 5$ for 7. This last time they literally gave me 6 of them and one cheese curd. Fierce eyeroll could not be stopped. Please try harder. Ill be back by next week. Thanks.

Before I said they needed to cook tacos an additional 30 seconds to crisp them up. Well, on a second visit, I decided to go around and let them know several tacos were still frozen. I had taken a bite of one and it was far undercooked, so I gave them back the box for replacement with fresh fully cooked product. In a couple of minutes the young lady came back with a tiny taco box that was fully cooked- happy camper until I got half way through my tacos, and found my half eaten taco in the box. They just dumped the tacos I returned into the fryer, finished cooking them (half eaten one too) and gave them back to me. Intellectually, I know the fryer will kill any germs, but conceptually I think it is a health code violation at least, but also just nasty to put half eaten food back in the cooker and re-serve! YUCK!!!

I arrived at the location: 6355 E Mockingbird Ln Dallas Texas 75214 at approximately 10:48pm. The male Hispanic at the drive through window was impatient, rushing, kept saying WHAT ELSE, breathing heavy when I asked questions about items on the menu, breathing heavy when I asked for my total balance due, answered very rude when I asked if they sell lemonade. He acted as if he didnt want to be at work or didnt appreciate the fact that he even has a job. I work very hard 6 days a week making honest money to be able to spend it wherever I want to. I dont appreciate spending my money with a company that has employees treating me as if Im an inconvenience to them. This needs to be addressed immediately.

This is my favorite jack in the box in the entire metroplex. Yes, they lie about their hours ever sense the pandemic -- every establishment (except Tom Thumb) does this in this intersection for some reason. It used to bother me, but I got used to it. They just have really high quality food and I have never left this place disappointed (unless they lock the doors at 7 pm) Edit: also the manager is really nice, but she is so stingy with hot sauce. She will literally count them out per item you have and give you one packet per item which is weird. I call her Stingy Hot Sauce lady, but she is really nice. Im sure all these problems stem from a financial problem. Edit 2: decided to go get some Jack in the Box today and as I show up to this empty restaurant with noone in the drive thru at 8 pm, I find the doors are locked and there is a cashier sitting at a table in the dining room talking on her phone who looked inconvenienced by my presence and just worded were closed as I was staring at a sticker that says the dining room is open til 10 pm. The dining room has not been open past 7 pm for years. They wonder why they are losing business. A part of having a business is having consistent hours. I would literally pay more if the employees got paid more to care and the business actually stayed open like their hours said. Ive literally had to knock on the drive thru window because they closed the dining room at 4 pm which is so awkward. I hate to say this, but I think this Jack in the Box is gonna go out of business. It sucks because they make the best tacos in town (well jack in the box tacos) but they are so inconsistent with their hours. Noone in this community wants to go there because they dont know if their open which is a really bad business strategy. It was understandable during the pandemic, but now its not so cute anymore. I hope they get that together or post more realistic hours that reflect their staffing needs

I ve visited this location a total of three times. All instances were late at night (after 2am) and months apart. One thing that s been highly consistent: I don t leave this place with food in hand. The explanation I got the first two times is that they switch to online-orders only at some point - okay, that s cool, whatever, I ll go somewhere else for the night. Tonight I actually did place an online order for some food here. However I got a different explanation this time: We re closed. I m quite frustrated at this experience, because I was under the impression that I could finally get some jack in the box at this hour of night. Edit: they have fixed the aforementioned problem of being closed all the time, and their quality of service has been back to top notch. Had an issue with my order today (it happens) and they were very good about resolving it. Always fast accurate and good, better than the other surrounding JIB restaurants too. I made an online order. I literally live 5-7mins from the restaurant. I get to the restaurant and let the staff know I have a mobile order. The individual at the intercom stated that nothing was showing and if I had the right restaurant. I repeated the address off the confirmation email that was sent to me 6355 E MOCKINGBIRD LN . The individual said okay hold on. Come back to the intercom and said nothing is showing but I can pull up to the window. I get to the window and I am met by what appears to be the manager. He shows me a receipt with my order on it and says someone just picked the order up about 5 minutes ago. I show him the email that I received and asked how? He said they showed the exact same thing. I asked if they require ID he said no. I said well what am I supposed to do b/c my money is gon and I have no food. The guy tells me I don t know . Slowly proceeds to shut the drive thru window. I asked for his name and he stated Terrence . I asked for the corporate number. He closes the window pull out his pull comes back to the window and give me a number and says ask yo speak to Daniel . There was no I m sorry about this, let me fix your order, no verification that it was I who is the actual person picking up the order. So, here I am out of my money and out of food. Extremely poor customer service and ethics. As a manager Terrence in my opinion lacked accountability, customer service, and management skills. Yes, I did reach out to corporate as I had told Terrence I would.

I order jalapeño poppers and they were cold. They were the worst i have ever had at any Jack in the Box i have eaten at. Also there was a guy standing at the drive thru window ordering. That is very unsafe and uncommon. The guy at the window seemed upset that i asked to have my order reprated. I will not go back to this location. Gentlemen work at 4:07 on July 2nd reject to take my order because of computer malfunction. When asked his name he neglect to tell me and continued to get aggressive with when ask if this location was corporate or franchise. He refused let me know that information. All was willing but o say is that his Manager Marcy would 9am. He continued to get more aggressive when I continued to ask for more info. Then stated he was pull the battery from the drive thru so he could no longer speak to me. As stated in website this 24 hr. There s was no empathy just pure rudeness. It was was clear after turning through the drive through that everything was functioning properly. It s a shame that I must put this type of review.

This location is NOT 24 hours as it states. Their hours seem to be very inconsistent. I ve tried to stop by for breakfast many times around 6 to 7 AM, and have only been able to get service once or twice, all other times there has been no one there. Additionally, they only accept mobile orders at times. Ridiculous. If this location is going to operate business this way they need to update their information online as to not mislead customers.

Ordered through Uber eats. Every single item was wrong. My egg and cheese had no cheese. Requested one sandwich with no bacon added the note in 2 places. It came with bacon. Fail of an order all around. Only item correct was the fries.

Location is so under staff they cannot take any drive-through traffic. They will only take traffic for Uber eats or doordash.. They said I could park in the lot and order from Uber eats. How is that helpful? This is ridiculous. This is ridiculous. To be fair Jack in the Box, particularly this location, is always behind and below whats supposed to be happening.

This jackinthebox is so horrible The older gentleman with the salt and pepper hair that works in the drive-through shouldn t be working there I wouldn t leave one star I would love to leave zero stars but it won t let me that man has the worst attitude in the world and does not give your entire order he repeats it several times and then when you get home your food is not in the bag so sir you could keep those chicken strips I ll pay for your meal since you have a hard life and you complain at working at Jack in the box God bless you take care happy holidays I will not be coming back to this Jack-in-the-Box ever again it s worth it to drive a little bit further to get better service and to get your entire order correctly
