This was our first time visiting this establishment. There were over 20 kinds of beer, including ciders. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products being served. They also have trivia and games available. We had a wonderful date night and will return! P.S. The ladies room was very clean. Thats a big plus in my book!

My husband and I happened on SoCo Taphouse while visiting San Angelo. We were so impressed with the outstanding service of the bartenders there, specifically Krista. They have an incredible selection of beer and were just so charming we feel like part of the family right off. We liked it so much, we ended up staying another night so we could go back. I highly recommend SoCo if you like friendly service, a good selection of beer, and a chill atmosphere with tons of friendly folks.

Local brewery/tap house. I was immediately welcomed by regulars. Everyone was very friendly and I can tell this is a place to take it easy, try some beer, and chat with someone new, if you so choose. I tried some of their beer and a couple, non-local options, including a mead. If you are adventurous, beer, socially, or otherwise, this place is for you.

We had a great time at SoCo while spending a night in San Angelo on a long road trip. They have a solid beer and cider selection with fun daily deals. On the Thursday we visited, their deal was reduced price on cans in their fridge and $1 off draft IPAs which I took full advantage of. The bartender and patrons were very friendly, and we posted up at a table in the back. We enjoyed some fierce games of uno (which I won every hand) and connect four (which we traded wins equally). We really liked this spot and will come back again next time we are in town. Also shout out for being a dog friendly establishment!

Every time I pass through town I make sure to swing by for a beer. They have a great selection and the service is outstanding. Even if you dont know much about beer the staff looks knowledgeable and can help you figure out what you like. The only bad thing I can say is that I just wish they stayed open a little later.

I absolutely love this place!!! It s perfect. We come from out of town every few months and this place is a must. It feels like home. It s so welcoming and the beer is great. I love that I can bring my dog here then go walk the river afterwards. It s the perfect imperfect hole in the wall. For as long as I have to come to San Angelo I will come to SOCO.

My favorite place in San Angelo to just go and have a beer. They always have something different when I visit and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I wish they served food but sometimes they have food trucks outside and they are carry-in friendly if you want to grab a bite to bring with you.

Great little jewel near the Concho is downtown area. The selection of beers was well-curated with their own brews as well as popular local and regional stars. The bar area is small but the large patio is comfortable. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Cant wait to return.

Amazing selection with there own brew selection along with local craft brew. Plenty of sitting inside and patio area. Bartenders are knowledgeable with the beers.Owners are active and engage with customers. Its the place to go enjoy craft beer and relax or hang out with friends.

Soco Taphouse, to me, is a peaceful gathering place for friends and family to knock back drinks together. The biggest factor I appreciate about Soco, besides the friendly staff and warm clientele, is that it is quiet, and a person can go there to chit-chat and relax with a kind crowd of regulars, not just your random bar crowd. The environment aside, if you like real beer and real strong beer, Soco provides a constantly changing entire slew of options to meet your beerbuds needs.

We told the server we were from out of town and wanted flights of the locals. She took her time helping us make our selections and set us up. The house beers were the best. The brewer also talked to us and it was obvious he has a love for beer and people. Great place - Ill go back every time Im in town.
