We recently had an unforgettable dining experience with Wong s Asian Cuisine during our trip to Galveston. While we didn t realize at first that the restaurant was a 35-minute drive from our location, Wong himself went above and beyond by meeting us halfway to deliver our order, free of charge! His generosity truly set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most fulfilling dinners we ve had in a while. Every dish we ordered was not only incredibly fresh but bursting with flavor. I went in yesterday for lunch and bought some pork fried rice togo after I paid for it I decided I wanted some chili oil the lady was so rude and told me I had to pay first being all passive aggressive pointing at the sign made me feel as if I was broke the lady could of just told me how much it was and rang me up instead she wanted to be all mean.

Food was very much plentiful. It was hot & served by a very hospitable lady who takes the opportunity to know every customer by name. Dining room is was small but the experience was nice. We had the sweet & sour chicken, sweet & sour pork, general TSO chicken & singapore noodles and everything was pretty traditional. Egg drop soup was awesome. This was our family go to place whenever we wanted Chinese but the service has gone down. The waiter (old man) would rush us by giving us the bill while we were waiting for our food. In addition the food is salty and they cut back on the number of beef/shrimp they put in the entrees. Overall we will never come back!

This place is great ! A true hidden gem. Small little place has ample tables but does most of its business in takeout. They do not dumb it down like many do - not afraid to use some spice. Best food and pricing. A great way to treat the family. This place has become our go-to favorite restaurant. They have largest portions. And some tasty healthy options. Our favorite is the moo shu chicken. Its delicious and healthy feeds two or three of us. Heads-up I think they are more suited for take out. There are a few tables inside but I think they mostly setup for carry out.

The most incredible Chinese food in the area. Im currently writing this review from the parking lot, waiting for a to go order as usual. An older genteman was in the bathroom for a while, so I waited. He exited and returned to the kitchen without washing his hands. The male bathroom was also filthy. This is my new favorite restaurant! Highly recommend their Singapore fried rice. Most people order take out here, but we have eaten in the restaurant as well. Vegetarian options: Flexible menu items Wheelchair accessibility: The counter is not ADA accessible, but the overall space is sufficiently accommodating. Everytime I pass wongs I m always in the mood for it but can never get any, but when I can it s a whole different story. My go to at Wongs is always the General Tso s Chicken add mixed vegetables and Iv lived in league city for years and it s never let me down! If you want great comfort food at a great price, this is the place. Portions are enough for 2-3 people each dish (you will need a to go box). We had the egg rolls, pan fried pork dumplings, General Tsos chicken, Szechuan chicken, but the true star was the Singapore fried rice. Rice fried with curry and a belly warming spice level. Fresh, aromatic and delicious! Vegetarian options: Healthier options and vegetarian sections clearly marked on menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Able to enter and exit easily (very small threshold lip for the door) with mobility devices and there is plenty of spacing at and between tables even though the restaurant is smaller it does not feel cramped.

Stopped in around 1pm on a Sunday. Small quaint, location. Service was a little slow but we didn t mind. Server was nice. We ordered corn nuggets, pan fried dumplings, Orange Chicken and General Tso s lunch specials. Now I don t know if it was an off day or I order the wrong thing but most of it was subpar. I ve always heard great things from others about Wong s just never got around to trying it till now. I ll start with the good and then then not so good. Appetizer #1: you can t really go wrong with corn nuggets, they were fried nicely and hot when arrived at the table. Combo sides: The soups ( wonton & hot & sour) we re good, the hot an sour soup was especially good but no crispy noodles. The egg rolls are some of the best I ve tasted as of lately. That s about if for the good. The not so good. Well appetizer #2 pan fried dumplings were half lightly fried but mostly soggy. Like if the steamed them and then said oh no that order was fried and then tossed them in a pan. The meat flavor was okay and the scallion sauce was standard but the consistency was not a pan fried dumplings. The main course both orange and Tso s chicken sauces were slimy sticky consistency not usual for the sauce, the taste and texture was off as well. The fried rice was bland and over cooked as was the steam rice over cooked. We took a few bites of each dish a leaving over 3/4 of each plate and decided to packed the egg roll, corn nuggets to go. The server seemed confused as to why we didn t want to take the other food home but honestly we would just have tossed it out. Now that s my honest opinion of my experience. I sat a little confused because I saw others ordering different dish and they seemed content. So I m going to say I ordered the wrong things. I ll try them again, but I ll pick up and maybe order the wings and a noodle dish or a beef and broccoli. I will definitely get a few egg roll as well. Parking: Shared parking, no issues with finding a spot.

We came here from out of town hoping to find some great Chinese food. The best part about this visit was the service. I found a lot of locals coming in and out during our lunch but we were never left unattended. I m not familiar with Texas, but there s something up with the water here. I ve never had more poor tasting soda. Even the sweet and sour sauce had a similar poor taste. Maybe that is normal here? The actual food was okay but I think the reviews really set high. We wouldn t normally have taken the food as leftovers but felt like we had to.

I m not sure why people in league city rave over wongs, BLECH.. gray weird looking meat for the Brocolli beef, both Brocolli beef and Mongolian beef very soggy and old. Cream cheese wontons (cheese puffs) super salty, and I got a fishy taste when I bit into a fried biscuit and got the ick. Chicken lo mein also had a fishy taste and made me want to throw up. After we arrived, we were asked if we were to go or eating here and, after our reply of eating here, we were asked to seat ourselves. There were no other patrons who were eating at the time, so we were the only ones in the restaurant. This didnt last long. There were people consistently picking up orders throughout our 45-minute visit. Our server, Lucy, a very sweet and attentive waitress, gave us our menus and took our drink order, which was 2 green teas. After we made our appetizer and food selection, Lucy placed the order. Our dinner slections arrived before the appetizers. However, we received huge portions, and our dinner selections tasted great! After the appetizers arrived, which was shortly after receiving our dinner, we ate the appetizers along with the meal. The staff is friendly, but I was extremely disappointed by the quality of their food. I ordered General Tso Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, Steamed Chicken with snap peas, and pan fried pork dumplings for three people. We ended up eating only 1/3 of all the food. The meat part of the dumpling is so tiny, you are basically eating the wrapping. They were dry and not visually appealing. General Tso was mushy and dry. It looked like it was cooked hours ago. Fried rice had a lot of shrimp in it, but the rice was dry. Steamed chicken was OK, but the sauce was not tasty. I ended up adding teriyaki sauce that I had at home. It was not worth $50. One of the orders was incorrect when I picked it up. The staff was very sweet and replaced it with the correct order...within two minutes. That suggests their food is premade, which explains the dry and mushy General Tso. Sorry to leave this review, but I wanted to give others a heads up. Maybe I just had a bad luck. Hopefully the owner will see this and make some adjustment so that they will thrive in their business.

I ordered the sautéed chicken and shrimp and an egg roll. This is a spicy dish and did not disappoint the spice level for me was perfect. Food was hot and fresh. The portion is very generous. My little one really enjoyed the egg roll. Definitely will be back, cant wait to try other dishes.

I thing Wongs is the best kept secret in League City! The place is small, but the portions are generous, fresh, and very favorable. We also order the pork fried dumplings, because they are by far the best ever and an order consist of ten. Every dish Ive had here is delicious and Im sure you cant go wrong! Try this little place and you will be pleasantly surprised! My husband and I went again yesterday and the food was fresh and tasty! It is by far my favorite oriental restaurant.

This is the BEST chinese food ive had. My husband and i found this gem in 2020 when we lived just down the street. Fast forward to present day, we live a good 30-45 minutes away, and if we want chinese we WILL MAKE THE TRIP to order from here. We have pretty much tried everything they have to offer. The cheese puffs are DEFINITELY a must! They use like a chive cream cheese, we always get two orders, one for commute home and one for dinner . The Singapore Chow Mei Fun, is my personal favorite, im very hesitant on curry, however this dish is a 10/10. I do have to say just because i see a few very 1 or 2 star reviews on here, (also Didnt read them) but if they are anything about the food. Please dont listen, everyone how has a restaurant, know there are always going to be off days were thing just arnt going 100% as expected. If you had a bad experience or the food just wasnt hitting right, give them another chance. Like i said everyone has there off days we have gotten a few off days over the years, however we dont hold it against them, they are human just like you and me. Mistakes happen. Seriously give them a chance. You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I dont make reviews but this place, deserves my time for a fantastic review. Completely incompetent. Tried to place an order for pickup and prepay it. They hung up on me twice and couldn t understand the concept of paying for it over the phone, even after the third try.
