Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Would Give 0 stars if it was an option. Absolutely HORRID experience. I walk in the door, and am immediately greeted by a putrid stench. I take a few more steps to try and discover the source of the smell, and discover a rotten corpse of a cow sitting in the kitchen. No one is there, and so I help myself to some of the cookies in the display. Then I walked out.

The restaurant seems to have declined in the past year. The restaurant was not cleaned like it used to be. There were two drink machines that didnt work and were without ice. I hope this is not a result of the new ownership.

Great experience for me here. I had Drs. appointment in Corpus that morning and my experience was a good one. They are under renovation and remodeling. But it is a great place to have a meal right on the bayfront. Service was outstanding. Parking: Plenty of parking space available. Im handicapped and there were limited spaces available. Wheelchair accessibility: With all the workers in and around the establishment, they were not very considerate about keeping the ramp free from material and equipment. They blocked the ramp, when I mentioned it to them , it went on deaf ears.

Open 24/7. Ground floor and top floor with an upstairs outdoor terrace with a view over some buildings and the harbors and sea. After placing your order, you will receive a number plate and they will bring your order with a platter if you want sauce or napkins. As soon as you leave, the table is immediately cleaned. I am a big Whataburger fan and this did not disappoint! This is the only two story with soda and seating on both! There is a balcony overlooking the water AND the staff is very nice. Would definitely stop here and see the one and only. It s a little bit extra but that s why we love it!

Thursday morning the girl at the drive through made nasty comments and slammed the window shut. Will never be back! Earlier this week she shoved a coffee in a co-workers window and spilled it all over her. Were nurses and were fed up with rude kids at the window.

I tell you of all the whataburgers weve visited. This place for being so busy is very well organized and quick, without making a ton of mistakes. However, the service is seriously lacking, they rush you through to get your order, never smile, hi- bye, none of that there all about proficiency, which is good. But whataburger is or has always been better known for their customer service, which is clearly not present at all in this place. This place could care less if you dine in or take it to go, everything is made to go, and its bagged a little sloppy in my opinion. Know one walks around offering condiments like their once was known for & guess what you have to wait in another long line just to get those condiments which their not friendly on. I get my chicken sandwich meal without the sauce, because Ive learned they go way over board and then it just not good, so I rather but it on the side, but then the charge me for the sauce which is a bit ridiculous to me but thats how I like it. Their pricy, but its the food & the name, if your loose that you got nothing! Your loosing your business if you ask me, so do better, especially in customer service!

Place is filthy. Windows on the second floor were covered in greasy finger prints (booths were vacant so there s no reason why a worker couldn t have cleaned them). Restroom was gross and smelled like feces and trash. Chemical bottles were spotted out in the open instead of out of reach of children. First and last time coming to this location. There are too many workers for this location to look completely unkept.

Yes, I am in from Ohio and I have been here for one week. I ve been to every Whataburger in the city of Corpus Christi and this one on shoreline is just not one of the ones I mean they have good ice there. I would get ice from there and then go 30 minutes to another one to eat. Shoreline is very rude like I ve said I visited every Whataburger in the city and this is the only one that charges me for ice all of a sudden like it s not 100 and something degrees I ve never been charged for water and seven days until now at the shoreline location Ewwwww

Great service great team. Thanks to the Boss Jose Sandoval for being such a great fast manager and making sure everything comes out correctly and got and fresh and keeps the team working at a fast pace and keeping the store clean and smelling fresh including restrooms. Stephanie the store manager as well she is a great manager as well. I enjoy how she knows how to run the store and keep the store clean and fresh and keep her employees in check on how to be nice and courteous and get the food out in a timely manner. This is the largest Whataburger. On May 6, 1999, the company opened Whataburger by the Bay on Shoreline Blvd in Corpus Christi. It is the largest Whataburger store at 6,000 square feet (560 m2). The site includes a life-size bronze statue of Harmon Dobson. Considered a tourist attraction, so not kept cleaned.

I love Whataburger, but if this would ve been my first experience, I d never go back! 1. A line of customers and only one cashier, even though there were more registers. And it was in the middle of the afternoon. 2. The restrooms were FILTHY! One toilet seat had even excrements smeared all over! 3. When finally receiving my order, the employee removed the QR code from my receipt, so I couldn t participate at the survey. I had a horrible experience it was the fourth of July and I expected it to be busy and it was which was great! We need tourists seeing our beautiful city. I was disappointed in my food, and it was undercooked. The manager tried to remake it but I asked for a refund he nonchalantly handed me 9 dollars which was only the price of the burger. I asked for a shake instead and he said I had to get in line again. I understand that it was busy but they should have strived to oblige my request for the inconvenience.

A great big Texas Thanks to Melissa at Whataburger. She made us feel very special on our 4th of July Sunrise Breakfast on the Bay! Staff is nice but the pull to the curb approach needs to stop! Not only does it create frustrated customers behind us who can t get out, when the guy tried and couldn t see around us, he almost hit a guy on a bike. Keep people in the order they arrive - service and let them go. Our order wasnt large. If it was an instant it is large enough to have to wait, have the customer pull into the parking lot - not block the flow and not block the view of others trying to leave the drive through.

Biggest Whataburger in the world. Right on the water. Two stories. Upstairs has an outdoor seating area as well as indoor. Has an old school fast food vibe to it. Food tastes about as good as a regular Whataburger but knowing you re in the biggest one in the world puts it over the edge. Beware of sitting outside. Seagulls are ruthless.
