Our whole family has been enjoying this gym since they opened in 2018. Movement classes for everyone. My children like the parkour, rock walls, trampoline, and I like the conditioning & parent parkour, and Pilates classes. For advanced conditioning: aerial & contortion classes are fun! Been training private lessons for the next Spartan event! They even have fun events for kids/parents like nerf battles and party rooms

This was absolutely the worst experience for my seven-year-old son. I don t think these coaches have any or much professional training. This male coach got absolutely frustrated when my 7 year old son, on his first day, had a little bit of trouble sticking a parkour landing. The coach walked him over to me and basically said he can t do it and walked away. He gave up on a kid. What a total loser. Do not bring your kids here.

Had a 7th birthday party for my son and it was a hit! He left saying it was his best birthday ever! The coaches were great, make sure you tip them if you have a party here! They worked hard. I would say as the purchaser, to not waste your money on the add on. Specifically the fort one. I paid $150 extra for this add on and kids from outside the party were running through it, so it was really just a few minutes of extra fun for the entire place. The website also says they would be able to knock it down and that didn t happen. Having your kids just run around and play is the better option.

My son absolutely loves this place. It s like a second home to him. I think every state should have one. Great place for both children and adults to learn new tricks and get their energy out in creative ways. My favorite part about this place is the staff that make this place feel like home. I have never gotten better customer service anywhere. The people up front and the trainers are all amazing and make me and my son very happy. Ooh also I highly recommend the birthday party package, the staff literally take all the stress of hosting a birthday party off of you. It was absolutely amazing how much fun the kids had!

This place was all fun for the kids and the staff was helpful and friendly . Reason for the 4 star review is , some spots were not protected with rubber mats and had wood planks next to a ladder . No warning signs were also not there . It s not about the law but the idea of a kid getting disabled or dying is just too much I would say to carry on for rest of your lives .. just think about it . Also my friend felt stuffy in a few places .. thank you

The atmosphere and culture that the staff has created is perfect for kids and families. They are watched over and well coached but also challenged to push themselves and learn new skills all the while having so much fun doing it.

A great place, my son loved this place. I highly recommend talking your kiddos there. We are considering getting a subscription for the entire family. What is cool is that you can change the classes you are doing so if your board or just want to try something different then you just go to that class. They also have a monthly parents night out where they keep the kids entertained giving you 3 hours to go have a date night. Love it.

It does smell a little funky in there, but I dont think my kids notice or care - they love it! Weve only been for birthday parties or events (open gym-style), so havent really experienced the classes. My kids both are brave and try new things there, which is fun to watch, because they overcome nerves and are proud of themselves. Even though its a little stinky, I still enjoy sitting there and watching them lol.

I really wanted to love this place and maybe it would have been better if I went at an earlier time. I took two of my nephews to the Free Play time (free with membership) at around 5:00pm on a Friday. The area was pretty busy as there were classes going on too. They didnt have access to all areas because of that. They were done after 30 min. Without membership it cost $40 for a maximum of two hours. I figured they would play for at least that time. They werent able to utilize everything so it wasnt as much fun for them.

There s open gym for both kiddos and adults only. Also an assortment of day classes for both parents and homeschoolers. I recommend doing a trial class first (you can call the office staff is confident and knowledgeable).

This is a review for an experience I had a few months ago. I am rating my experience at the gym 2 stars due to poor customer service. I arrived at the gym early on a weekday so my three year old could try a class. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude. She made me feel I was bothering her. She made it clear that the gym wasnt open (it was 5 minutes until opening). I understood that, but her tone and attitude were so offensive that other members looked at me with a sorry look. I tried to keep a positive attitude and proceeded to sign my daughter up for a class. The gym was standard and I have no issue there. I had a seat and my daughter attended the class. She seemed to be having a great time, and the instructor had plenty of energy! About five minutes into my daughters class, the woman from the front desk entered the workout space. She asked me to move because she was going to start a class. Again, her tone was rude and short. A woman who was going to take her workout class smiled at me and invited me to join the class. She also suggested I would not be in the way. I had already been talked down to at the front desk, and now I was being asked to move when there was so much empty space to conduct a workout. I was holding my 4 week old baby, and a super nice member helped me move my chair and sit somewhere else. I heard the instructor realize she could have moved over a bit for her class (a class of 3 people). Im hoping this was just a bad morning for this woman because she really made me feel out of place and like a bother. Needless to say, I didnt return.

Got my son signed up there after Covid, the first year was awesome. Coaches were great atmosphere was good. You got your money s worth. Then they slowly increased the membership fees and decreased the amount of time you could be there. Over the last 9 months at least 3-4 times we weren t permitted to enter a class we signed him up for due to over booking, or change classes even though there was room in another class. Today it happened again for open gym. Not permitted to have my 8 year old do open gym because they were having a contest. Spoke to Josh and he seemed apologetic but didn t really care. No offer to prorate, or any other comp offered. Pretty much so what attitude. My son was pretty disappointed he wasn t allowed to play today and even more disappointed when I broke the news we were canceling the membership. When I spoke to the owner in private I was told I couldn t cancel the membership without filling out a long form that would take 10-15 mins to do. I was pretty upset and said I didn t want to spend any more time here, and I suggested we stop payment on our card. He said if that s what you wanna do but our policy is that form has to be filled out. I said your policies also said we were supposed to be allowed to bring our son here for a monthly fee, but that wasn t followed. Now I gotta stop payment. Advice to anyone wanting to join? Go somewhere else. This place used to be great, but now they don t care about the clients, only how many people they can cram in, and tell everyone else that paid to pound sand.

This place is pretty cool. It s a large open gym in a warehouse type business park in East Round Rock. It s got multiple rock walls, trampolines, foam pits, rings, rope swings, parkour area, changing obstacle course area, and ninja warrior training set up. The classes are diverse: silk rope aerial, parkour, yoga, trampoline- flips and tricks, and a class for little kids called Tiger Cubs (for under 6 years old). The gym can get a little crazy when they host camp days but I haven t seen little kids get trampled by bigger kids (yet). I love that they offer memberships for homeschooling kids & moms and cater classes to that schedule. The homeschooling membership can only go before 4pm but they offer classes throughout the day. I would like to see more options for classes for under 6 years old, but if your child can be attentive and focused in the classes sometimes they do allow them to join. My daughters are 3 & 5 and normally take the Tiger Cubs class; the make good use of the gym features. They did allow my 5 year old to join the aerial ropes class; we thought it was really neat. The instructors are really fun and engaged, seem to love their jobs, and get creative when teaching. I would love it if more of the Tiger cub classes lined up with mom classes, so that the kids can be occupied and supervised during the mom classes, but they are flexible if you need to help your kid. The kids can free play in the gym while moms are in classes. The homeschooling membership does allow you to go during the week during the day for open play or a certain amount of classes that you purchase based off your use. They have an app that you can sign up for your classes that makes it convenient. Not many of the members wear masks (some instructors do) and I did hear they had covid run through the gym back in May. But for the most part you can social distance. I do think they could be more strict on requiring hand sanitizer on entry but they do provide it and strongly suggest you wash your hands before entering the gym. I don t really like that some kids wear their shoes inside-tracking in more germs. Only 4 stars because of that and because sometimes the gym smells musty and sometimes it smells like food (there s a kitchen). I don t think they clean the foam pit very often. They do try to keep the large warehouse door open and front door open during nice weather. The check in process could also be streamlined with fabs and or being able to checkin everyone at once instead of individually. Overall, it s an amazing gym concept!

Kids really like it here. There are trampolines and ninja warrior training equipment, they have open gym and classes. But... The place feels really chaotic, there are death traps everywhere with random gym equipment lying around where kids are running, and I worry there isnt quite enough supervision here (during open gym) given the millions of ways kinds can get hurt here. The young adults there to supervise are more interested in doing their own flips and stunts. Im not a helicopter parent by any means but when I bring my kids here I definitely need a drink after to calm my nerves lol That said, their classes are small and appropriate supervision is present during those activities, so we stick to the classes!

Had a real fun time taking the moms class with a couple of my friends. Coach was great - very friendly, informative, and encouraging. We went during the day when it is summer camp time, so as many of the previous reviews mention, the kids are constantly interrupting the class. I assume during the school year it won t be the same thing (but I don t know). There were a ton of different obstacles and techniques we were able to attempt during the class, which was nice for our varied strength levels. They do have adult only hours in the evening, so serious athletes can use the place without kid interruption. For moms this can be tricky tho, because there is no child watch area. Will definitely come back with my kiddos at some point as well, because it is very kid friendly. The price for the ninja moms class was very reasonable and affordable as well. Overall, I rate 5 stars because I can tell they listen to reviews on here and have been making adjustments (it didn t smell and there was ac). I support this small business, for bringing a family friendly environment that also adjusts for adults to the local area.

Although both of my boys have differing athletic abilities, the staff treated them both with respect. When we got in the car, they both said they had the best time and can not wait to go back. Date: 3 years ago

Review №119

Rating: 2

The coaches are great, the owner is great and everybody is real nice and the atmosphere is good as well. However the reason Im leaving a more or less negative review is Ive been to this place maybe 4 times, as an athlete and a coach myself in the sport of freerunning I cant stand the overlap of adults and kids in the same open gym space. Most gyms make it a point to separate adults from kids during open gym but not this place. And the kids there who im sure are regulars have a super snarky im here everyday attitude towards adults who are there to train and not there to say play hide and seek or tag. On several occasions I nearly landed on a kid in the foam pit coming off the tramp because the coaches werent even watching. And the spring floor is always crowded with obstacle courses designed for toddlers and leaves a very small space if any for open floor training. The reason nobody takes the sport seriously from an outsiders point of view is because gyms like this cater to kids more than athletes or aspiring athletes and its usually because of a couple things, the vision to make a real gym for real athletes isnt there or the parents money is more important than the sport. Apex, Tempest, Flight Academy and etc are super successful gyms because they cater to both real athletes and bratty kids. And they separate them. Point is, this place could be waaaaaay better if they were more strict on the mixing of ages. They even have good equipment here, its sadly under used tho because there is always a kid just kinda standing there in the way. I would live to come back if the place starts taking itself a bit more seriously. It didnt feel like a gym, it felt like a birthday center for children.

This ended up being super fun, but was a very odd and awkward party venue . The gym was large but the rooms were super small and people were standing in the hallway. Parents of younger kids just stood around with no where to sit or to go while the kids are playing. Some people are actually working out and practicing and annoyed by the kids playing.

This place is amazing! We came for a team building event and the instruction had me doing parkour moves and other feats of strength I never thought I would do. Little old me even made it up the warped wall! The kids I saw looked incredibly skilled and strong. This place is great for all ages!

Great gym with great prices. Staff are VERY friendly and helpful. There are some opportunities for improvement though: 1) Buy new foam pit cubes because these ones are all chewed up and gross. 2) Find some way to vent out the gym better because it reeks in there the moment you walk in. 3) There should be less chaos from kids not in classes. There are always kids running around like it s a madhouse, even right through groups that are having a class!

If youre looking to be able to train a variety of skills in whatever physical movements you are pursuing, look no further! This place is an absolute wonderland for any kind of training you would want. From training here i have been able to sharpen my martial arts skills, my gymnastics and tumbling skills, my parkour skills, and my overall fitness! They also have almost every type of training equipment under the sun to help you loosen your muscles, stretch and get a proper warm up to help prevent against those pesky injuries. You can challenge your fitness in so many different fun ways its just hard to stay away. The instructors and staff are also wonderful warm hearted people who will always help you when needed and so is just about everyone else who trains there. Ive always dreamed about one day having access to a place where i can train literally anything ive ever wanted and The Jungle Movement Academy is like a dream come true!

The place was without AC in June. We booked our kids birthday party and they did not inform us that they don t have AC. When we complained, the manager said you should expect that as it s a gym , and also said we were supposed to get it 3 weeks back but were rude when we complained that there are not enough fans for parents and neither were we informed. The manager was especially rude and had a I don t care attitude . Our worst bday hosting experience ever !!!

I never feel judged by the staff or by other people. They focus on teaching correct technique and ensuring safety at all times. The gym is always clean and well maintained, not smelly at all. The coaches are caring, experienced, encouraging, and adaptable to different needs and ability. Never foul language or inappropriate music either. I HIGHLY recommend this gym to anyone, child or adult, who is looking to better themselves

We went with the all inclusive package which included open gym use and games for 20 kids, fully decorated themed party room, and costumed instructors doing choreographed routines. The instructors were spectacular - fully in character and super kind and patient with the kids. The event staff was wonderful - the room was decorated perfectly on theme with awesome extra touches. The convenience and fun factor were well worth the cost. We will definitely be back!

My son had a great time here. Its hot and muggy, so if youre staying while your kid plays be ready to be sweaty. Theres not a lot of space to hang out in the gym room while kids play. We were there for a group event and dropping off worked well. If all the parents stayed it wouldve been super crowded.

Ive been here twice now. This place is like an all ages playground. They have a bunch of different activities: rock climbing, trampoline, foam pit, a bunch of parkour props, sword fighting, Ninja warrior stuff, and on and on. The staff is helpful and it feels very communal here. One of them gave me a demo of the trampoline (it was pretty awesome) and even talked me through some of the basic practices. The last time I went there were birthday parties there at the same time, but the place is large enough and there are enough different activities that it wasnt an inconvenience. Also, if youre looking for a fun place for your childs birthday party, all of the kids seemed to be having a great time.
