Been coming here since I drove by one day when I was 16 years old. 3 years later, always my go to, and I even have introduced this place to so many people. I get the same thing every time, it s so good. Staff here is AMAZING, it doesn t matter who s serving me, they re all very kind and FAST with orders. I don t think I ll ever stop coming here!

Second time there. Great, no nonsense diner with great food. Wife and I split a standard two egg breakfast with bacon and toast. Was very good. Don t remember the server s name, but she was wearing a walking boot on her foot. Very attentive and funny. I like this place for the simple atmosphere and great food and service.

I stopped by this restaurant on my way to the flea market based on the reviews i read. It was Sunday, and there was like a 20 min wait. I ordered the Home style Cinnamon Swirl French toast COMBO with a side of hashbrowns and a hot chocolate. It came out to 21.00 before tip. Eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns tasted like Ihops. The French toast is different. It was neat to try, but I prefer the regular type. The service was great.

This restaurant has a good variety of menu items and is affordably priced. Yesmin, our server, was kind, attentive and considerate. The food tasted great and the portion sizes are adequate. The only bad thing I say about this restaurant is the booths are difficult to get in because the tables make the sitting area narrow. I may be a little overweight but even a slim person would find it difficult to get in! Lol

First breakfast visit served very slightly under cooked, lightweight waffle. I know my waffles so feel qualified to criticize. Strawberry topping was ordered, see photo. On my next visit I was served very few strawberries, maybe what could be held in 1.5 tablespoons, and the waffle needed a little more cook time. My wifes breakfast was great and so was the service, so will be returning, but not ordering the waffle.

Spontaneous stop this afternoon while out-and-about. We had coffee and split a piece of apple pie. It was so good we plan to return for breakfast. Our waitress was exceptional. The menu and pie with ice cream were great. The coffee was average at best but acceptable. Our visit time of day was approaching closing time but there were lots of patrons for the time of day. In the future I plan to post additional photos of the menu and report on breakfast orders after we return.

I ve come here almost 15 years since I was in high school. I ve never had a problem until today, I was sitting near the prep station where the salad, lemons, butter ect.. as I m eating my salad, my sister and I look over watching the waitresses, prepare the plates before they walk them to the table, one of the waitresses wipes, her nose, reaches down and grabs a handful of salad and put it on a plate. She continues to dresses it up and serves it to someone else. Lost my appetite right away. I proceeded to tell my waitress what I had witnessed, and she said they usually are supposed to use tongs. you could hear the other female waitress talking about it. the waitress that did the deed and a few others had attitude for the remainder of our time here. Never coming back

The biscuit and gravy omlette was ok. The gravy was mediocre with little flavor and virtually no sausage in it. The rye toast was some generic bread, not the marbled rye that Eggsquisite uses. No real rye taste to it. On top of everything else, the cost of the food was high compared to the quality. I was very disappointed.

To be able to have a meal at a cafe that reminds me of home and that has such great memories was a complete delight. I had the chicken fried chicken with eggs and a salad. There is a hair on orange juice and I politely asked about the replacement as there is a hair. Server insisted that this is your hair and finally replaced the juice without even saying sorry. Allen cafe is the place to go for breakfast. It is an old diner that has been around forever but what it lacks in atmosphere it easily makes up in food. My family and I go about once a week and usually get the hash stack, while the kids love the pancakes. I have tried alot of breakfast places in allen but none are better.
