It was my first time here with my family. The food was scrumptious!!! they were so welcoming and sweet! Especially the two girls who were serving us both of them were so friendly and nice, we got butter chicken, biryani, Momos, bhindi masala and garlic naan, my favorite is bhindi Masala and butter chicken , it was the best butter chicken I ve ever had!

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz WHAT THEY RE KNOWN FOR: a local Indian food favorite. THE VIBE: kind of a weird vibe mostly because the place is way bigger than you would think so it s almost eerie. But honestly I don t expect much with vibes with small businesses. PRICE: ~$20 per person WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! Overall Rating: 9/10 - The servers here are SO sweet and attentive. - The prices and portions are really good we had so many leftovers. The flavors are perfect and not overpowering at all. I really recommend everything we had ordered because it was just a perfect and comforting meal! - I do wish the food was a little spicier but it s perfect for my mild spice lovers! Either way the flavors really made up for the lack of spiciness. - There s an Herbs Indian Restaurant in Irving which I m not sure is the same owner but just keep in mind these are two different restaurants.

First time visit. I was impressed. food was delicious, service was very good ( more on that 4 stars in a moment), the place was very clean and spacious. On arrival, for the end of lunch, I was given a quick run down on the choice of buffet or a menu meal. I gave a quick survey of the buffet offerings and decided to go that way. some of the choices were running low, but still just enough.. as previously, the food was delicious. even the spicy wasnt too spicy. ( I have 3 levels of spicy: tickles the tongue, clears your sinuses, makes you sweat like a marathon runner). My one issue with the service, and Im sure it was an honest mistake, after I started eating , I asked for a sweet Ice tea. it never came. Thats okay, there was water on the table without asking. my neighbors have said they would like us all to come and try this place. I will be back! Ordered a Herbs Kulcha to go.. it was wonderful.

Food and service is top notch. I had Vegitable chow mein and Chick3n koorma. Noodles are bit dry but tastes amazing. Chicken koorma with naan is drooling. Hope this place stays in business longer as we are long awaiting a decent indian restaurant in this area.

The service was really good, the waiter gave good suggestions, they specially made bullet naan on request, it was not on the menu, happy with the service with smiling faces. The food here is great. Probably the best indian food I had in a while. The quality of the ingredients and how much thoughts they put into each dish is chef kiss especially the vegetarian option dishes. Highly recommended to go during the lunch buffet which starts at 11 and ends at 2:30. Its about $20 a person including tax for the lunch buffet which is a great price for the options they had. The dessert and soup as well as a salad bar as well. The service here is very good too. Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes that have dal, tofu and vegetables and fish.

Lunch for two at try their buffet was great! We have a couple favorite Indian restaurants in Arlington and we wanted to this one due to location and reviews. it was great. Service was the best I have had at a buffet of any kind. They really care. Food was great. A better variety than most buffets. I was amazed by the curry fish. The fish was high quality and cooked perfectly. The chicken curry was also wonderful - actually it all was. Try the beet pudding for desert besides their rice pudding. Try something new.

We have not had Indian buffet this delicious in a very long time. Great balance between Veg and NonVeg options for those with dietary restrictions. The tandoori chicken was moist and flavorful (some of our experiences at other Indian restaurants served expensive and dry chicken) This was amazing The chilli tofu and eggplant dishes were excellent Have not had carrot halwa in ages. Bikey was super nice and helpful on suggestions. The Dum Ki Chicken Biryani was on the spicy side, but outstanding. The garlic naan was really good and fresh. The tandoori mixed grill was excellent as well to try a little bit of their meats they offer. The lamb was so tender. Everything tasted fresh and made to order - super hot when it came out. Again, Bikey was super nice. I will come back to try their lunch buffet.

Had the buffet. The Goat Masala was spicy and tasty. The Tofu Tikka Masala was a bit too sweet for my liking. The NaaN was awesome. The Hostess was very welcoming and sweet. The waiter was Great. The Mexican cooks laughing and singing in the kitchen was a put off. The former J and J Cafe building has been nicely re-done. The Rice Pudding had almost no rice. Our bill with a 20% tip was $51.00 Only water for drinks for us. I think for food quality and better buffet, I ll go back to India Star. But this spot is much nicer for a date .

I brought my 5yo daughter here for dinner on a Friday and it was not very busy. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the various chutneys provided before the entree. My daughter loves Chicken Tikka Masala since we make it home, but she did not like the one here. Perhaps because it had a stronger tomato flavor? Who knows, shes a fickle 5yo. I thought it tasted great I got Chicken Vindaloo and it had fantastic flavor. I had been wanting to try the dish because Ive been told it is one of the spicier Indian dishes. However, I did not find it unbearably spicy. Perhaps they just toned it down for the white guy My daughter did love the rice pudding, which I also thought was good. All-in-all, I highly recommend a visit!

The service and food were excellent. There were 4 of us, and we all tried a little of everyone s entrees. The only thing we didn t like was the rice, it was just normal white/jasmine rice with peas and carrots thrown on top. I stopped in to try it for the first time. The lady at the counter greeted me with a big smile and warm welcome. I ordered chicken biriyani, butter chicken, samosas, mango lassi and butter naan. Everything was delicious. The chicken biriyani and samosas and raita were the best Ive ever had. The biriyani is enough to serve 2 or more people. Decided to take myself out on a date. I went to google and found this place. When I arrived it was about an 1.5hr before closing. Well to my surprise, they still treated me with great customer service and didn t make me feel as if I was rushed to leave so they could go home. I appreciate that. This place is a hidden gem! We went for a late dinner. Restaurant was clean and very elegant. Staff was friendly and very helpful! We asked for recommendations on the menu and server provided good information on what the most popular dishes are. We ordered vegetable pokora as an app and shared the tandoori grill for an entree. Both were delicious. We also got some complimentary poppadom with sauces/chutneys that were so flavorful! They have a lunch buffet available everyday if you want to try an little bit of everything. My wife and I love Indian food and we are so happy to have stumbled upon Herbs! This restaurant is relatively new, but we believe will become a regular destination for many like us. First time there and really enjoyed the food, ambiance and the staff. Had Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Korma, both spicy. The food was delicious and had a nice bite. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant felt very clean. Pricing is just a bit more expensive than both India Grill and Tandoor for our courses. But in fairness I felt they were larger portions of rice and the entrees at Herbs. Naan was certainly more expensive but the one order was sufficient for the 2 of us. The service was top notch starting with the Hostess and our server as well as the manager who we also had the opportunity to meet. For a place that s only been open for a few months, this could not have been a better experience for my sister and I to enjoy our Easter holiday. The food matched the customer service and was better than the rave reviews we had read online. We tried a little bit of everything from their menu and enjoyed every selection! I just had a very nice meal at Herbs on Little Road. My wife had a chicken dish that was served on a sizzling platter, fajita style. Best naan we have found. Delicious!! We have gone back several times now and have loved it each time. We went for the lunch buffet with the intention of trying everything they offered. I would genuinely eat everything at the buffet, which is rare. I think some other local Indian restaurants are leaving bad reviews to try to steer you away from here. Chicken Tikka masala gravy was watery, not creamy and the amount of chicken was terrible for 16.99. The included rice had peas and carrots which was odd to me and I couldnt taste the cardamom. Samosas had no texture and the spice blend was bland, the outer pastry was more bread like, 8.99. Garlic naan was also bland, I couldnt taste garlic 4.79. Pappad good quantity but not as flavorful as others, 3.00. Before leaving, I asked about chutney and if it was in the bag, without checking they said yes. They came to my car to bring me the forgotten chutney. After reviewing the takeaway menu prices, they were not correct to what I was charged. At almost $40, I was disappointed and will be making the 30min drive to north fielder rd for better tasting Indian food. Will not be coming back. Thank you.

First of all, this place is clean. Food display was awesome and easy to get to. Food temperature was prefect. I tried chicken momo, samosa chat and their buffet. I loved most of the items in their buffet. Chicken tandoori was awesome and was the chicken tikka masala. I enjoyed the beetroot dessert as well. Nice place to enjoy launch or dinner.
