Was there Saturday around 1230-1245 with my wife and 2 kids. There was only 2 employees in the entire building. One guy making the sno cones and a girl on the register. The wait was about 30 min which isn t normal. At first I was kind of frustrated because of the wait and having to watch my sno cone just sit there ready and not being able to get it. But I looked at the bigger picture and realized these 2 employees were running this place (line out the door) like 30 people inside and still had a smile on their faces and never once seemed stressed or annoyed at how busy they were getting. That alone speaks volumes for those 2 and I hope they don t go unappreciated because those are the employees you want to have. A 3rd person eventually showed up and had a wrap around his arm as if he had donated blood or something so props to you for also being a good person lol your help was also appreciated I m sure. Thanks for the awesome Dr.Pepper sno cone and we ll see ya next time

Took my wife and kids and have to say one of the best places in the Austin area to get a shaved ice. Yes, you can have ice cream added. I cannot wait to go back. I will say this is a premium shaved ice place and with that the cost is slightly more than a regular shaved ice. With all that said definitely worth a few bucks more.

MISLEADING PRICES. CHECK TABLET BEFORE YOU SWIPE YOUR CARD Prices on menu are misleading. You buy one flavor with no toppings or add-ons and the flavors are actually special that arent properly listed as so. We bought 2 regular snos with one flavor and got charged far more than the listed price at the bottom for a regular size snow cone.

Always a pleasant time. I love to come here alone and enjoy a snow cone in silence during the winter. Delightful in the summer too. Their pink cotton candy snow cone with strawberry flavor and cream is top tier. Not only is it delectable but it stains the lips a cute tint!

Had a gift card that a friend gifted my kids but the card machine was not able to read the card and the two kids there said they didnt know how to run the gift card other than swiping it. How am I supposed to use the gift card?? Not giving this place any business until they can figure it out.. it was my first time there too.. definitely not a good experience at all.

I ordered ahead so that I could simply walk in and pick up. My order was supposed to be ready at 6:20 pm. I showed up and all of the associates were just standing around talking. Just came in at 7 on a Friday night with my family. Counting 6 young people working with 2 people dining in have been here for 20 mins and all the tables are still dirty filled with dirty umbrellas and dried syrup. This is a great place to get a good sno cone or smoothie. When we went, it was busy, and the line was kind of long. The sno cones were rushed because they looked nothing like the pictures. A couple of customers had to inquire about their sno cones because customers after them had received theirs. The sno cones still tasted good, and it was a great treat, but the Austin location was better for being a smaller shop.

This place needs to have warning signs at the front of their business. Oh, Ill just go in once and try it out. Then as theyre making your order, they decide to add everything thats addicted in the world. Youll have one, but youll think about all the other choices they have. Second time going to this location since moving here and neither time were the greatest experiences. Went on Tuesday and waited forever behind two big groups of people to order a million things so I ordered ahead on the app while standing in line. Got up to the register finally and informed them I just placed an order and waiting to pick up, he said okay then they get all the orders ahead of me out which was fine but as I go sit down everybody working either goes outside or goes in the back and I m waiting for my order still. I think they were trying to find my flavor which I guess they were out of but no one informed because they bring out a shaved ice from the back which was gross and probably very unsanitary and it was a completely different color from the purple I normally get. Why give someone a flavor they did not order and why not tell me they were out? I could ve been allergic to whatever flavor they decided they wanted to give me. I will just drive the extra unnecessary miles to another location.

Ive never had a dry ice cone until today. Very little flavor and even less JUICE! The good points are the need candies I added, which gave it some flavor. The sour flavor is meh at best. This was my first time at Bahama Bucks. Ill go back to see if this was a one-off.

We had shaved ice and a frozen coffee drink. Everything tasted great. Coffee might have had a little more syrup flavoring than it needed, but thats better than not enough. My grandson enjoyed digging through his cup to continue to uncover gummies. A bit pricey, but good flavors and quality.

Just left this Bahama Bucks location about 7 minutes ago. I visit this location a whole lot at least 10 times a month. I got the same flavors I always get with caramel topping as always and today my snowcone tasted very funny, like vomit. Like I couldn t fathom the taste at all. It also smelled like something was mildewed or old either the caramel or one of the flavors. I went back inside to have the guy who made my order to check the date on the caramel. He stated that it does not expire until next year but he also seemed a bit irritated that I complained something I never do here because I never have this problem. Well he did not even offer a remake so that was $5 gone down the drain. Customer service =0. I won t be back!not to mention I asked for sour apple, strawberry, pineapple and peach as always. My snowcone didn t even look like it normally does!

I visited for the first time and had a bad experience with a blonde curly hair white guy. This dishonest guy handed me a folded torn $10 bill when returning my change. I only realized after moving out on a different day. It s so cheap of him to pass the buck to a honest customer. The space in the shopping center on the end does not stand out. You have to look for it. However, so yummy and so much fun. So many flavors, so many options of snow cone , smoothies and such that I wish I could go more often to try more. The staff was helpful and quite crafty with building cones and drinks. The floor was way over due a wash down; couldnt walk without your shoes sticking to the floor. Almost pulled my shoes right off my feet a couple of times. Probably could have addressed that a time or two throughout the day.

Probably have the most Sugar Free syrups and other items Ive seen at a shaved ice shop. Even including Hawaii. Good texture on the ice lots of options. Kids love the umbrellas and how decorate the drinks. Nice size shop with plenty of seating. We get ours to eat outside because not many employees wear mask and I am immunocompromised.

Absolutely amazing. So unique and different than normal shaved ice places. They have so many different flavors, toppings, ice creams and shakes. Mix and match anything or stick with their menu. Today was a peach cobbler flavored shaved ice with vanilla ICECREAM at the bottom, AND caramel sauce on top. Whole family got something different and everyone was happy. Staff is incredibly friendly and the entire facility is spotlessly clean.

We ve been going here since they opened. Today I bought my daughter a baby shaved ice and in the bottom we found the paper punch outs from the Bahama bucks cards. Someone had been using the cup for TRASH and they made her shaved ice in it. Those cards have been handled by all sorts of people. I m looking for the number of the health department now.

I ve been going to the other sno cone place for 25 years, but this place blows it out of the water! The flavors are much stronger, the atmosphere better, and the people nicer. Not to mention they have frequent flyer cards and considering I take my kids at least three times a week I really appreciate the free one every now and again.
