Great beer..recommend the rootbeer flavored beer. Great service and atmosphere but lacking in modern bar food preference. Dog friendly patio (yay) but not ADA wheelchair accessible or harder to travel with one with high top chairs and bar chairs. Seating is available outside but it was 98 degrees. A great place to drink but theres not a salad or non fried or breaded item on the menu (grilled cauliflower exception). Highly recommended for beers and friends.

The atmosphere earned 5 stars. Got lunch for 2 and a couple of cocktails each and dropped a bill! Wth! Food was subpar. Partner didnt even eat their food. Needed 2 cocktails to feel anything. I dont drink often so I knew it had to be watered down plus I asked for premium alcohol. Wont be back. $90 seriously

Allens attentive and respectful service is exceptional and keeps us coming back to The Brass Taps repeatedly. We see Allen as the face of this business and we are thankful his shift happens to coincide with our regular date nights. His comportment is exemplary and this establishment is incredibly fortunate to retain his services. As a regular patron of this establishment I hope to hear Allen soon recieves a raise for his outstanding excellence in service above and beyond expectation or pay. The food is exceptional on every count! There are several wheat-free sugar-free options AND they are more than happy to do what they can to accommodate your personal dietary needs. This place is incredibly chill and relaxing. The perfect place to date your life mate or hang out with friends and family (including pets outside!)

This place needs to invest in the infrastructure. Been coming since it opened and its never been this bad. The audio never works, the tvs outside never show any games, and the beer selection never changes. Im sad because this was the best bar in Round Rock as one point.

We used to come here because the food and the atmosphere. We were so disappointed yesterday after some months without coming. It look like they changed the chef and food was low quality, flavor was not like before and didn t look well presented. (Lettuce was pretty old). There is out door and indoor sitting. Posting a new menu. I was looking forward to fried pickles but they dont have it anymore. There was no server so we had to order at the bar. The staffs are great. Didnt take any pictures of the food but the pretzels were good. The wing basket was good as well. There is so many draft beers you can choose from! Dog friendly on leash.

I had a bartender named Tristen, who was very nice and very attentive. When I arrived. I needed to use the bathroom after ordering my first drink. I returned to my table with the table clean, and I had to acknowledge to my bartender that the bar back had taken my drink and also my put out partially smoked cigar, the bar tender gave me another beer because of this mishaps later on I met some friends traveling from Sweden and we started talking about Jesus. The bartender snatched my papers I had waiting to give to them. He stated we don t allow soliciting in the bar. I ve been a solicitor. I ve gotten this solicitor license to go door to door but the first amendment allows me to talk about religion freely without an license and then the bartender returned my papers and I was allowed to give to someone who I wanted to give it to. I was stopping by this town and stopped at this place. I would give them a second chance. I had more than one bartender(not Tristan) give me terrible welcoming due to me , having a private conversation with individuals about Jesus This is my experience

My wife and I have been coming to the Brass Tap for several years. However, the last few times we have come in, the charges on my bank card have been triple the amount of the actual amount spent. When I called the manager, Bobby, both times, he told me it was my bank not the Brass Tap putting through the charges. This is unacceptable and is not my bank putting in the transaction amount. They only enter what is entered by the business. After about a week the additional charge falls off but I have to continue watching my account until then. It is very annoying and inconvenient. Not worth it. My wife told Bobby that we would not be coming back. Bobbys reply was WONDERFUL. I hope the owner is aware of losing long term patrons, and how his manager, Bobby, refers it as WONDERFUL. GB

Technically not a sports bar, but I thought basketball or hockey would have been shown over PBS. Also, I ordered an avocado burger but was not told until 15+ minutes after my party got their food that my burger was held up to make more guacamole. About an hour after ordering I got my food. The waitress we had did comp the order and gave us 25% off drinks but it sullied the rare night out.

Never approached to see if we needed to order anything. Never greeted, no food, no water. Had a meeting and left to eat elsewhere. Update* The manager was nice enough to contact me and let me share my experience. I did go again and had a chance to try food & drinks. The spicy margarita was delicious & the impossible(vegan) burger was yummy. My friend enjoyed her wine and salad. All portions were just perfect, and food came out pretty fast. As my friend arrived first, she did tell me she waited about 20 minutes before she was helped. When I arrived, I was greeted and received a drink right away. However, when trying to order food, I had to wave a worker down, as they were all in conversation. Overall, okay.

Best beer in Round Rock, but their internet is the absolute worst. You have to register and give them a bunch of private information every time you come back. I m not doing that ever. I m not the only one either. Just saw someone get mad at the new internet process, pack up their stuff and went across the street to work. It s 2024, people don t want to give out their birthday, email and phone number every time they walk in. Whoever made that decision needs to be fired.

A family member ordered the steak nachos, and I expected it to be loaded..BUT it wasnt. It shouldve been 2x the size at least for $18.50 I didnt take a picture of the loaded fries, but it wasnt loaded it should have filled the basket but there was still room right around the fries for $10. Review Update: BRING CASH (Dropped one star) We visited with our daughter for some apps and drinks on Sunday. On Monday I called in to ask why the extra charge of nearly $100? They advised that it was a temp hold added when opening a tab and should fall off in 24 to 48 hours. Today, was surprised to find the pending charge of $99.76 is STILL on my account 2 days later. I get that you want to mitigate for deadbeats vagabonds and scallywags, but this could be a serious game changer for folks on a tight budget. I strongly advise customers to BRING CASH to avoid Brass Tap holding onto such a large amount of money for more than 1 day. Also, recommend to first eat elsewhere; The Taps once scrumptious and unique selection of hors doeuvres and goodies has become 18th century brig chow at best; much different qualtity than when they re-introduced their menu a couple years back: Korean Nachos, used to be our favorite. Salty thick sticky sauce, state fair cheap chips... simply overpriced and just meh. (chicken wings were the star; at least edible to be fair). --Previous Review .. indeed still stands, overall-- Such a fun place. I love to try beers that just cant be found elsewhere... The patio outback is fun too! These homies even sell decent cigars!

We had an absolutely terrible experience at The Brass Tap this week. The happy hour deals really aren t good, and our server had an ugly attitude right up until she gave us the device to pay. After giving us attitude for asking basic questions, our server left us for such a long time after we told her we would be ordering food. My friend had to walk up to the bar to get her attention in order for her to come back to our table. We ordered the loaded fries, and they were also so disappointing. The giant scoop of sour cream on the little crinkle cut fries in addition to the minimal bacon bites and cheese were not a good combination. We left disappointed that we ever decided to go and try this place. We were really expecting a better experience from a place that says they are the best all over their walls and screens. We won t be coming back.

Chicken tenders here are a joke portion and more expensive than other pubs and restaurants in the area. Such a bummer, because it made me doubt everything else that might come out of the kitchen. Had never felt so at home at a bar where it had been my first time here. The ambience was pleasant and soothing; the soft lighting was also a nice touch. Sami had a phenomenal bartending technique and a contagious, outgoing personality, while still being attentive to others around. Bobby has a great and calm demeanor that puts others at ease, while remaining with an open focus and ready to handle any possible issues that could arise. Bottom line, they both work so unbelievably hard and with such dedication. They re organized and have essential qualities that make them the best of the best. They both deserve raises. As long as they continue to work at The Brass Tap, I will continue to be a customer.

Quaint atmosphere and beer selection is decent. There are a few local breweries on tap but not as many as the place across the street. If you want a beer thats hard to come by, come here. Otherwise, local stuff is best found elsewhere.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE We were eating normally until the server brings another customer to translate from Spanish to English - We speak English perfectly - to tell us that they couldnt serve us alcohol anymore because they saw one person from my party tripping after going to the bathroom. She definitely didnt trip. We only had 1 beer. They were basically kicking us out because there were people waiting to be seated. They made us have a terrible time. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would. Horrible customer service.

Friendly neighborhood bar with a large rotating selection of beers. The staff are great, and theres a lot of space to hang out with friends. The patio and biergarten are really nice as well! Edit 1/2023: Theres been some staff turnover since the pandemic, but everyone is still very nice and provides good service.

Great beer selection! Tons of local and other microbrews from around the country, and our server was extremely knowledgeable about everything they had on tap. They also have a really solid selection of starters, burgers and other entrees. Try the Boom Boom Shrimp they are truly amazing! Tender fried shrimp with a yummy orange sauce. Slightly spicy, tangy and delicious.

We love the Brass Tap and have always had great service there. I dont usually leave reviews but last night our server Kelly Buerger took amazing care of our rather large group, and her skill and personality warranted five stars. Great spot.
