I will say this venue itself was beautiful!!! It was why I fell in love with it. The only thing that was frustrating was the representative who was to be my contact was nice but it was very hard to communicate.The last few weeks before the wedding. It was like pulling teeth to email me or even text due to her personal issues that I understood but I just wish there was another person as back up if she was not able to help us. We paid a good amount of money and compared to the other places for the same amount speaking with them would have been a lot easier. This venue also charges you outside fees if you don t use their list of vendors and some are about 10k starting for catering. All in all beautiful place but maybe having better communication. Also, for future brides the cottage gets very hot and does not have a lot of ventilation if it s hot outside.

We loved having our wedding at PSR! We fell in love with the gorgeous outdoor space and scenery. Katie, our PSR contact, was so kind and quick to help with any questions. Everyone we actually communicated with at PSR was amazing! The only reason I m giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the smell of their tap water in the bridal suite and restrooms was sooo terrible - it literally made my stomach churn. It smelled like rotten eggs. It wasn t fun to hear my guests and vendors talk about how their hands smelled like rotten eggs from washing their hands. Other than that, no complaints! Thank you PSR for a beautiful wedding day!

We loved hosting our wedding at Pecan Springs Ranch! The location was convenient for our out of town guests, while still having tons of natural beauty. We loved that there were built in backup options in case of rain and the donkeys were a huge selling point as well. During our wedding, it was so nice that guests could explore such a beautiful space and have room for a quiet conversation away from the dance floor. A perfect space with great staff, highly recommend!

PSR was the first venue I looked at online, and I immediately knew it was special. It hit all the marks for what I needed: beautiful outdoor spaces, both indoor/outdoor options, can accommodate a large wedding size, great bad-weather options, and (the best) drink donkeys! Most importantly for me, it was a peaceful and gorgeous blank slate for me to add all the unique flares and vendors I envisioned. Brittany was my coordinator and she was awesome! Super responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond both in the planning process and during the actual event. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful, inviting, and comfortable the venue was. My favorite comment I heard was It just feels so good here, I don t want to leave! There were the cutest/coolest sophisticated and ranchy spots both in the outdoor spaces and indoor spaces that our guests loved hanging out at and snapping photos at. We had a great time taking photos in the natural grasses but enjoyed the manicured ceremony site. PSR knows what they re doing and they know the business. I was able to have the wedding of my dreams!!! Thanks Brittany and PSR!!!

RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & UNORGANIZED !!!! Not only did we waist 35 minutes driving to the venue but to also come find out that Lindsey (the lady that was supposed to give us a tour) wasn t even there and wasn t picking up phone calls even tho she told us what time and day to be there, we got yelled at by another lady that worked there because they were setting up for a wedding that day & that we shouldn t be doing tours (like if we were supposed to know) Also as we were heading out another couple walked in with the same time to tour with Lindsey and that couple got yelled at too. Lindsey be double booking people for tours and doesn t even show up nor pick up calls.

Awful! Very unorganized! We scheduled a tour today with Lindsey, she confirmed again this morning, we drove over 40min and when we arrive she doesn t answer our texts or call. Not surprising, there was another couple booked at the same time telling us they too were booked at 10:30am and they too were being ignored. She finally responds, does not apologize, instead asks if we are free some other time. Disgusting and glad to know how they do business before committing to this place!! Would not recommend!!!

Pecan Springs Ranch is a hidden garden oasis tucked away in the quiet countryside, yet only minutes from Austin and super convenient. The venue and amenities are absolutely fantastic. As a fellow event vendor, I enjoyed delivering here because it is so well thought out and easy for all the event vendors to unload and set up. And the owners are super nice with a great staff as well! And they have adorable burrows. Enough said!

Me and my husband got married at PSR in May 2023 and we absolutely loved the venue overall. The entire property is absolutely stunning and has a romantic, magical, and enchanted feel to it no matter where you are on the property. The venue Manager Brittany made things so easy for us and helped us incorporate everything we wanted to use on our special day. Theyre very flexible and always do their very best to make sure your event is exactly the way you envisioned it! I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience working with Pecan Springs Ranch was. The venue is gorgeous and offers so many different locations to have pictures taken throughout the night to give you tons of variety. They had multiple ceremony site locations and when we wanted to do something a little different they were happy to work with us and get everything just right. The grounds are immaculately kept and everything was in bloom for our April wedding, adding even more color. They were prompt with communication and very straight forward on the terms of the contract. Their preferred vendor list helped us to find many of the vendors we ended up working with which was super helpful as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue if you are hoping to have an outdoor ceremony with a beautiful indoor reception space. The bridal cottage was also the perfect place to get ready making wedding day even easier as we were already on location for hair & make-up!!

This place was really beautiful. The ceremony was held outside in the back chairs were provide. The sun was out but the huge trees provided the perfect shading. Lots of cute places to sit outside and lounge while the food was being set up. Tables and high tables for cocktail hour are available. The dance floor was a bit small. But it was the right size for the amount of people that were present. The arches inside were a nice touch to the building. There is a driveway that goes from the front to the back. I did not like the fact that parking was gravel and not paved. We had to park in a grassy area and my wife got mud on her heals. Also, the entrance of the building is not something amazing. The inside is way nicer than the outside. There was another small building that the bride and their party could get ready. Oh, and because people were in and out of the building it was very humid and hot. Food had to be served outside. I will mention that the entrance to get to the building is a long driveway and has pothole s and is poorly paved.

Nice venue if you dont mind all the traffic to get there and driving through a residential neighborhood. Lots of parking which made it easy to get in and out. The grounds were well kept and it was very peaceful. I would recommend this place to any friends in the Austin area.

PSR was the most beautiful venue for our wedding day. The location is unbeatable and delivered exactly what we wanted - outdoor, green, trees, open space. We worked with several coordinators at PSR and they were all lovely and fun to work with. They allowed me to come visit the venue as often as I wanted in preparation for wedding day and worked with my ever-changing ideas. One thing to keep in mind with PSR, is you may be paying more than your original fee if you want to add rentals or have your reception outside. To us, the extra fees were worth it to create our vision and we couldnt be happier with the results. The majority of our guests were from out of town and they were blown away by the property - theyre still talking about how beautiful it was, even months later!

The lady who own s the place is a total KAREN! I have met her three times during our meetings. Shes rude, full of herself and charges hundreds of dollars for the services she doesnt provide. She made a total Karen scene in front of my in-laws when I asked for the money back for the services she didnt provide. Eventually, she ended up refunding my money but the place is not worth it with that aggressive and intimidating energy. Dont be fooled by the initial presentation of the place. Every time something went wrong her excuse was my daughters went through the same thing on their wedding day ! Guess what, we are not your daughters and are glad about it! You don t have to ruin everyone else s wedding just because your daughters weddings are ruined!!! All her answers to negetive comments on this page are either 1)she doesnt know the person or 2)the persons claims are non factual. I ll start with a positive. The venue is very beautiful. No doubt about it. But I m giving this a 2 star review because the owner had the bride and groom close everything down 30 minutes early. 30 minutes doesn t seem like much but when you pay for the place until 11, you should be able to go until 11. Then I found out today (why am leaving this review) that the owner charged them an extra $500 because the decorations weren t complete out of the building by 12. $500 for an extra 20 minutes? Kicked them out and charged them more. Not to mention the owner asking the dj for songs. Anyways this place has great reviews. Maybe he was having a bad day that day. Again, beautiful place. Just be prepared for extra charges.

My wife and I were married here back in December of 2014 and still have the fondest memories! To this day, our friends and family that came in from out of town tell us how much they enjoyed the wedding and how it was such a great time. This venue is quintessential Texas hill country, which is why I think everyone enjoyed it so much. I can t think of many things I enjoy more than a beautiful texas evening, nice breeze, and beautiful outdoor lighting - Pecan Springs has it all covered. So, we planned our wedding, understanding the May rain chance for an outdoor event. 30 mins before the ceremony started, the heavens opened up (including a small tornado), flooding the back area of PSR preventing the use of the Pavilion for the ceremony and outdoors for the Reception. The Pecan Springs Ranch folks were OUTSTANDING throughout. They kept us updated on changes, gave us running options and seamlessly worked with the vendors to reorient the wedding indoors, where we had a very polished, romantic and MEMORABLE evening ! PSR receives our highest and strongest recommendation. This could have been the disaster of all time - instead, because of PSR, it was the most unforgettably wonderful for all the right reasons. These folks are our neighbors. They regularly don t end the music by the time they re supposed to. It s unfortunate that despite living on the outskirts of the city, we have to listen to music past the curfew waaaayyyy over the 85 decibel level of city code. Terrible neighbors. Response to owners: I live less than a half a mile away, so yes, Im your neighbor. Furthermore, obviously its too loud as you yourself note that I cant be too close. Perhaps you should monitor your guests a little more closely to ensure they end at the right time.

Pecan springs ranch is a beautiful property. That being said the ownership and management of the property is unprofessional and for the most part unaccomodating. Do not be fooled by initial presentation, you will have to buy your own wedding insurance (even though this is a fully functioning wedding venue) provide your own ice, clean the entire venue after your event (stack chairs, sweep, mop, and take out endless bags of trash to a dumpster a ways away), among other things. Amanda, our day of coordinator was the most unprofessional woman Ive worked alongside. The entire day and night of the event she acted annoyed at every question, got in a fight with both my wedding coordinator, and pastor. Yes PASTOR! She also threatened both family and myself/fiancé of looming fines if not every piece of trash was picked up. My last guests who stayed back to deep clean their entire venue were then locked out of the venue to wait on the front porch for the bus.... awesome. Please if you hear amanda is your day of coordinator, for the sake of your wedding, request a change. The one good thing I can say about the ranch besides its beauty is Kirbys patience and flexibility when working alongside my coordinator when we had to move my ceremony from outside to under a pavilion on account of rain.

Dont be fooled by the initial presentation of the place. First of all, someone called the police for a noise complaint at 2100. Then there were intermittent periods of sewage smells. The owners daughter runs the venue; she needs to work on her professionalism. She decided it was appropriate to yell at the bride and the groom at the end of their wedding night. Then proceeded to blame them for the place being trashed during the clean up period. Hello... Its a party... Theres obviously going to be things to clean up. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Pecan Springs Ranch (PSR) is seriously the best venue to get married! Not only is the venue gorgeous but also the people who run PSR (Kerby and Judy) are so incredibly wonderful! Our wedding was on August 8th 2015 and it was the best day of our lives. This is normally an extremely hot time in Texas. Kerby and Judy worked with us to make us feel comfortable that they would do everything in their power to keep the venue and ceremony site as cool as possible. The day of the wedding, the grass had been watered and the big pecan trees shaded the ceremony site so well, that the heat wasn t even a thought in anyone s minds. The A/C in the pavilion was perfect and we all danced the night away comfortably. The bridal cottage and grooms room were perfect to get ready in! The entire venue site is so beautiful that we didn t have to spend a lot with decorations or flowers. My husband and I joke that we want to do the wedding all over again so we can enjoy that day in slow motion. If it wasn t for PSR and the people who run it, that thought to relieve the wedding day would never be talked about. I strongly recommend you use PSR for your wedding venue! They will take care of you and you will have the best day of your life just like my husband and I!!

We used Pecan Springs Ranch for our February 2015 wedding and it was an absolute dream! We didnt have a big budget or a certain look in mind for our wedding. We wanted simple, elegant and a little bit of Texas mixed in. With just that in mind, the ladies at PSR created the most beautiful and stunning wedding for us! Everything about our experiene there was phenomenal. Not only were we impressed, but our wedding guests are STILL talking about it! The most common comment we recieved was Ive been to a lot of weddings, and this by far was the most beautifull wedding Ive attended. About 80% of our 75 guests were from out of state, so we knew by having our wedding at PSR, we would get the wow-factor and get to show off the natural beauty of Austin and the Hill Country. We loved everything, including the well maintained grounds, all of the decor rentals they have available, the expertise of their staff to answer all of my questions, the perfect mix of modern amenities in a venue with the rustic, vintage charm, the private and intimate feeling, and how easygoing the whole atmosphere was. We really cant say enough compliments of this venue and their staff to make my little wedding dream a reality. Thank you to Paige, Kerbey, Brittany and Judy for all of your hard work, high attention to detail and your amazing support on our big day. You created a goregous wedding for us and now we can really say it was our best day ever!

I have had the privilege of watching this venue evolve from the existing house and a few structures to one of the finest Hill Country venues. Its location off Hwy 290 south of Oak Hill is pure country paradise with its ancient oak trees and natural valley setting. I have visited many times for weddings, birthdays and other celebrations and almost always felt the soothing breeze through the trees from the springs. My first visit was a celebration under the pole barn pavilion where guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves as if they were way, way out in the country. Of course they were only minutes from Austin or Dripping Springs where they could quickly reunite with reality :) People seem to immediately smile and relax with the rustic rolling hills and natural landscaping of the property. Its the best of both climates. Outside for the ceremonies and then over to the open air pavilion for a social hour before dinner inside the beautiful, spacious, well appointed banquet hall. Its great for destination celebrations or for locals to have their weddings and parties. The owners and staff top off this crown of the hill country with their gracious accommodations and attention to details. These are only a few of the reasons your experience will be so rich at Pecan Springs Ranch.

This venue is astonishing from the beautiful pecan trees to the well manicured and natural landscape. The flow of the venue is an A-plus in itself from the 6,000 square foot main building to the private brides cottage as well as the covered pavillion and Love Shack. If you want a place that lets you experience the hill county & wildlife but minutes from Austin then this is it. This place is the best there is! Also, not to mention, the owners of Pecan Springs Ranch are Amazing!
