Went to a Quincennera on Saturday. It was a little weird driving to the facility as it is hidden from the road and the sharp turn off of the road seemed awkward. Plus there were For Sale Signs. Overall its a fantasy destination of a Castle. Lots of wasted dead space and during the summer it must cost a small fortune to cool. I can see why it is for sale. Good luck to the owner. But they didnt think it through before they built the Castle.

The place its ok. The road to get there its pretty bad, it only fits one car so you have to drive very slowly and carefully cause theres curves so you cant see if another car its coming, these needs to be fix plus parking space its just dirt and grass, not sure if you can park on the grass, its not marked just unpaved area around with no grass. I cannot imagine any event here on a rainy day.

The venue is amazing but the older female bartender needs retraining. I asked for a simple Tom Colin s and she put cranberry and vodka in the drink. The next time I showed her the recipe and she basically ignored it saying it was just a lemon drop.

Decent looking venue but the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. They actually cut our visit short due to our backs hurting cause were old people who cant handle it. To me comfort should be a top priority and while the chairs looked nice, that was it. We wanted medieval theme yes, but torturing your guests in this way is just over the top.

Wow what an awesome place!! I mean it looks like a castle all that was missing was the moat and draw bridge. We attended a wedding of our dear cousins and it was breath taking. Every room was large and spacious especially the reception room where everyone danced, drank, and just had fun. The reception room gave a feeling like you were in a Cathedral, ceiling was TALL! What a picturesque and fairyland kind of place. Id definitely would recommend this place for your next wedding or big party .

Very nice venue for any wedding or party of any type. It truly is a castle! The rooms are large but still intimate and lovely! Highly recommend!! The wedding I attended was spectacular and the background of the beautiful interior, with the massive stone fireplaces and lighting, looked fabulous in the brides videos and pictures. Plenty of parking!! I can only add that you will love it there.

Very nice place for a wedding and other formal events. I expected the womens bathroom to be a little more esthetically pleasing thus the 4 stars and not 5. Thats important for us ladies especially when we are all dolled up. Beautiful place. And maybe add some cobblestone or some sort at the entrance. Almost got my car stuck in the mud.

Hmmm lets talk i had alot of things go wrong... 1. They were a hour late to the venue so we sat outside a hour .this caused a delay in makeup and hair for bridesmaids this also made my wedding late a hour as well.some ppl actually left my wedding because of the set back .they gave q refund for the hour of set bqvk of 453 honestly I believe it should be more then that . You caused my whole wedding to be set back qnd ppl l ave come on That alone is breech of contract 2. The bart nders where taking shots they were just about drunk to by the end of the night.i brrought it to there attention and they stated they ran the camera and didnt see them taking shots ........ i hqve mutliple ppl tell me otherwise and acouple of ppl took shots with them . 3. They let anyone take the bottles my bridesmaids brung me a bottle i asked where she gt it she said the bartender gave it to her My dad walked up and grabbed a bottle as well. They dont believe me they say they have been working with these ppl for 12 years 4.They dont give you time to eat they were literally collecting your plate while your eating There set up was off i asked for 200 they have me 120 chairs regardless if they were all filled in or not i asked for 200 I dont believe one of the bartenders was licensed i asked for info she saidshe just kitchen help I asked if i could get. Refund for bartending they stated im confused the liquor was served right ...........honestly the amount you pay for the service you get is down right unacceptable especially paying over 20,000

The views are really nice and the showers were impressive. Everything else was pretty meh. There isnt any life in the venue, the decor is all very bland. The parking and road being unpaved is a major negative. It is a very poor imitation of a castle.

If you want a beautiful wedding experience, this place should be on your list. I know its castle in the name, but when I got there, I didnt think it would actually look like one. Everything can take place here. Wedding, reception, and beautiful scenery for photos. It also has a photo booth inside the venue for personal photos for the guest.They also provide suites for the bride and groom to stay overnight. The food was very tasty also.

Didnt really have the scenery indoors of a Medieval Castle or of any such Castle Decor, the outside buulding structure was the only Castle theme to me! The event room felt crowed so they had to open the one beside it for dance floor which divided the guest. Leaving me not to mingle but confused. So short survey is that the Outside got me excited but the inside was disappointing .

The atmosphere was lovely! There s definitely changes that need to be made. The fireplace wall may not be able to be removed but adding a projector, television or something so the guests in a large party can see what s going on. Guests complained about the gravel road and their new shoes getting dirty walking from the parking lot. This venue can afford a concrete driveway and parking lot. For outside weddings facing the venue, please consider adding a walkway. The wedding party had to physically support each other and older family members like grand mother s to avoid falls. It s really dangerous! There needs to be a large sign purchased at the entrance and the landscape needs to be cleaned up for outside weddings. Thoroughly read the contract as there are lots of hidden charges and we had to forcefully pry information out. The wedding process is emotional by itself and having to deal with crafty salesmanship made it more challenging. Serving staff was superb and professional. The food and beverages were wonderful and everyone bragged about it. In the end, it was a dream wedding!

As you all already may know due to COVID 19 those of us who have seniors were not able to have a prom. We have just been notified that the venue has been uncooperative and not refunded the nearly $7000 paid to them for the prom from Naaman Forest High School. Parents and/or students paid between $260-$300 each for prom and other senior activities that they were unable to reap the benefits for no doing of our own. I myself contacted The castle at rockwall today and was told they are waiting on a response from the manger. I advised her the booster members have been waiting months and have not been contacted back. She requested that we not call anymore. Y all help me make sure they dont make profit off of anyone else during this pandemic. Thanks!

Naaman High School had their 2020 senior prom scheduled here but due to the pandemic and nation wide shut down with no true ending in sight it had to be canceled. The venue is refusing to return any funds back. A lot of these families had to get help from friends and families, some of these kids had to work their butts off to pay for this themselves. The Castle @Rockwall does not deserve to just take $7000 from these kids when they have already had to give up so much.

As much money as this place brings in. My sister in law was married there and charged $7,000 for 4 hours. They can not refund high school students for cancelled proms. It s always been a pleasure to communicate with The Castle team. This past year one of my brides had a crisis because her original venue had closed due to bankruptcy. I referred her to The Castle as they d have been the best fit for her Harry Potter theme anyway - but Angela and Shay took amazing care of my clients- much more than I could have imagined. A nightmare was turned into a fairytale and my clients had the best wedding despite the unfortunate events they had been through. Seriously, both the venue owners and staff is amazing! They coulda provided proof to them that he was sick and dying and they acted like they didn t care and sorry for their luck! Karma s will come one day! Your have to live with that! I hope if your about to book at this place that nobody in your family gets sick or passes cause your not gonna get your money back! I ve also told my sister and brother in law to get in contact with FOX 4 news and they are in works! Just thought everyone should know what they are getting into.

Wow! This venue was perfect for my daughters wedding. Angela was AMAZING! She was with us from day 1 and answered all our questions very quickly. I really liked the ease of payment for the venue. We divided it into 4 payments and it was all done online. Another aspect to the financial part that was nice was that everything was included in the price. You get the venue, tables, chairs, linens, etc. There are some things you can add but you do not have to. We decorated the tables ourselves. We added some flowers and a few decorations to bring in our theme but the venue is so beautiful that not much else is needed. The bride and groom rooms are comfortable and spacious and easily accessible. We added the photo booth and based on the number of people that did it - it was a hit. You can bring in your own vendors (or they have suggestions) into the venue except for the caterer. You do NOT have to worry about the food though. There are so many choices and it was DELICIOUS!! We received so many compliments on the food from our guests. The day of crew did some special things that made a difference such as fixing the bride and groom a plate as well as a couple of guests that had mobility issues. I could not say enough about how special our day was and how great The Castle at Rockwall is. I highly recommend it!
