The selection is incredible, the prices compete well against big chains considering selection. And the owner is the absolute nicest guy and is incredibly knowledgeable and will help you find anything you are looking for and offer great suggestions. He knows his store and selection incredibly well and it feels great to support such a great local business.

I hate this place so much! Joking of course, but the selection is TOO GOOD it s frustrating! There are too many choices! Things change out pretty frequently too. I can never decide what to get, and either leave wondering what a beer I was thinking about getting tastes like, knowing I ll probably never see it again, or spending like $100 and getting everything I was interested in. Of course these are great problems to have and this is hands down the absolute best beer store I have ever been to anywhere in the country. It s insane. You will not be disappointed if you go there, but you might have decision paralysis!

Showed up 5 minutes after they closed. Lights were off and the door was locked. The owner saw us and let us in to make our purchase, even turned the lights back on and helped us choose a product. Extremely nice. My friends and I are not from Texas so we really appreciated it.

When you visit someones house, and they ask you if you want a beer, if you say, Mmmm maybe...what do you have, and you have an existential crisis if all they have is Shiner, Corona, Blue Moon, etc because your taste buds are ruined by next level beer.....this is the place for you. They have EVERYTHING-just as much as Specs or any big name liquor store. Its just not labeled as well and you have to rummage around through all the stacks of amazing, rare beers. Initially, I didnt want to review it because it felt like my precious little Gollum secret, but I need to show some love to the small businesses in my hood. Richardson beer snobs rejoice-this is the spot. Also, they have small specials like a rewards program and 5% off of 6 loose cans. The owner is knowledgeable and will always have recommendations if youre not a seasoned beer enthusiast. 5 stars!

I ll start off by stating the obvious when you walk in: AMAZING beer selection! Staff - Owner is extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for suggestions, just ask! He knows his beers and will guide you to your go-to or something new that you ll like. Selection - Whether you are looking for local craft beer or craft beer from some of the best breweries all over the US, you can probably find it there. There is a large selection of single cans/bottles from all over. I can always find someone new to try each time I go. Rewards - don t forget to sign up for rewards on each purchase. Good discounts. Excellent place; a must try!

My favorite beer store. Huge selection and the owner is very helpful. For a neighborhood store the prices are very reasonable. I ve called in several times about certain beers - to which he reached out to his distributors. Try that at central market or Tom Thumb!

Velvet Hammer in a can, come get it. Great selection right in my neighborhood. The loyalty program is worth joining if you are a regular. The owner is very nice and helpful when needed. The prices are not competitive, yet the owner runs his own store and I often see his son waiting on him to close up shop. I could save a buck or two running to total wine, but think about how much gas cost.

First sentence from their website: We are committed to providing you with the broadest selection of top shelf beer & wine at the most reasonable prices around. The Firestone Walker Parabola retails for $9.99, at the brewers web site, Total Wine and Central Market. Richardson Beer and Wine has theirs marked $11. When I politely pointed this out, the gentleman behind the counter said that I should go buy it from them. Perhaps not the best sentiment to gain customers. Central Market was not far away. I saved $7 and had a pleasant experience. Richardson Beer and Wine has a great selection of premium beer. I would have been delighted to do business with them, even at a 10% premium. It just doesnt feel good paying the premium and being addressed in a disrespectful tone.

It looks like your run of the mill, generic beer store. But wow are appearances deceiving here. I drove past dozens of times before stopping by once. Went in, did a double-take when I saw the inventory. Theyve got an amazing selection, and every time I come back, theyve got something new. Its like if a hipster beer store grew up and got respectable but still kept it real. If you get bored with all the nationally distributed beer that youll find in every grocery store, this is *the* place to go. Easily one of the best in all of DFW. Youll find amazing beer you didnt even know you wanted! Staff is exceedingly nice and helpful. Not terribly chatty, which is nice, but theyre there to help when you want it.

Great selection of local and macro beers, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Generally open late as well. Have some of my favorites at a very reasonable price. Also has a great selection of fancier beers for those looking for small batch, unique craft brews. Solid wine selection as well. Some other alcohols are available as well, such as Fireball.

Great place and great selection. Owners a really good guy and really helpful. Really knowledgeable staff too. One actually came out from behind the counter to show different selections to some guy. Prices much lower than I expected. Largest independent beer and wine store Ive seen. Havent been to the wine tastings but fiancee says theyre great. Just a really great store all around. Was really surprised about the size. For some reason, thought it would be much smaller.

This place has a nice selection of beer and wine! I would say its better than whole foods. I was surprised by how knowledgeable the person attending the store was about the inventory. They have all the usual suspects from deep ellum brewing, new Holland brewing, voodoo Ranger, revolver, rar and sons and various singles. If you are in richardson I dont think you have a better place.

We moved to the area from the Eastern Shore of MD last month. Of course every area now is a plenty of craft beer, from breweries to tap houses. But to find a decent beer store with a good selection and knowledge of the beers and where they are from is a pleasant surprise. The guys working the store know their stuff and are nice. They have a good selection of local and nationally ranked beers. I dont drink much wine but if I were feeling froggy I would go to Richardson Beer & Wine!
