I wish there was an option for negative star we always go to Frisco location and thought richardson location will be the same but big disapointment and mistake that we took our out of town guests and what a disapointment cold old food for which we asked if it can be warmed or of atleast we can get fresh bread but after asking 10 times when we were leaving finally got a piece of fresh bread and not to mentiom we spent 200$ and all managee has to offer was a cold sorry like this is what it is it was your choice to give us business , not going back sorry but not sorry!!! Its been 3 weeks i emailed and no response from them yet !

Coworker suggested this restaurant for a client meeting and I am game to try anythign new. First thing when you walk in is you notice how CLEAN it is. This place guneniee super clean from the tables, counters, food, and bathrooms. It is awesome. This is a buffet and it is one price. There is a nice warning that tells you if you get to much food and you opt not to eat it you will be charged a per pound wasted food amount. I thought that was nice as it is never cool to go to a place and someone loads up on food yet never eats what they select. The variety of food here is HUGE. There is something for everyone s tastes here. I enjoyed all th meats and the rice. They had good na an / pita bread that was freshly baked, i did make myself a small gyro. Everything I ate was delicious. It was some of the best Mediterranean food i have had in a bit, especially from a buffet. You could tell how popular this place was as it was PACKED by the time we left. I also really liked the desserts, they all tasted great, and they even had a soft serve machine. Overall this place is awesome and the staff is super friendly. Will come here again!!!

Much improved since my last visit two years ago. For 3 years I tried giving them a chance bur it was scary seeing the uncooked meats, dirtiest, and hostile staff. I hadnt been backnin 2 years and would only go to the Plano or Allen location. This time, for the first time since 2019, that things look clean and cooked well and staff are easygoing. Glad to see it coming back to its former self. I would add tvs, like the other locations, and season better. If food is setting out, the taste becomes sour. They need to throw it out and replace with fresh trays. Hopefully, it will go up from here.

9/13/24 Food was wonderful and fresh... Music while eating was peaceful and wonderful.. Suggestion: 1. Please balance tables as they move around when you eat. 2. I frequent the Richardson and Plano locations. Generally speaking, at both locations the the food display is great, Richardson has its on days and off days, a hit or miss, with the food taste, sometimes its great, sometimes its okay, and sometimes its bad. The falafel one day could be light, heavenly, and flavorful and other days they could hockey pucks and tasteless. The same goes with the salads and the hot items. The Plano location has tastier falafel and kefta that is cooked all the way. Parking: At both locations, Richardson and Plano, there is plenty of parking in front, to the side and back.

Food was cold and stale and embaressing. We have been to the Plano location a few times and had a great experience. However this time we were in Richardson and had family in from out of town, we decided to take them there. We were excited but the excitement turned into a big disappointment. We got there at around 7 PM on Friday Aug 30th the place was almost empty with just couple of people. There was no one at front desk. About a minute later the manager came and I told him how many people there were (at Plano location you pay upfront) he told me to go right ahead and pay later. We went for the food and it seemed the food was ok, but when we got to the table and started eating, the food (every item) was cold. Even the gravy dish and the bread. We asked them to make some fresh pizza for the kids, they only warmed up tje stale pizza that was already put our hours before which made the pizza hard. The bread was hard like paper. My wife told the manager about the food being cold and his respose was You came during down time. Why are you open then? I asked for the lamb shanks and they ignored the first time, 20 mins later I ask again and 15 mins later they bring it out. Mean while, instead of replenishing the cold and stale food, they turned up the heat on the buffet warmers. As the dinner crowd rolled in, that is when they started to replenish. We got done eating and I go up to pay and I told the manager about the experience and he said Well, we warmed it up for you didnt we? To which I said yeah after a while when it was too late. He got quiet and then said sorry will not happen next time. Went on to charge me and I had 3 kids of which 1 is under 3 and the other over 3 but only had stale watery pasta and he still went a head and charged full price for all buffet. We were 9 people, 6 adults and 3 kids. Paid $175 for cold stale food. Could have not charged for the other kid that only had watery pasta that they left more then half of what they put in the plate. NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN! Oh and the music was too loud, was hard having a conversation with family. This experience was so embarrssing for us because our out of town guests were disappointed and didnt eat much. They kept going back to the buffet to see if they could find something they like that was atleast warm...

Today, August 24 /2024 I did visit one of the dimassis restaurant and I have a good food ever in the one located at the city of Richardson, Food was delicious. Restaurant is super clean bathroom super clean and manager and COOK man (chef ) and other employee include Miss lady on the cash register all of them. They were welcoming the guest and ask for anything you may have in mind to advice. They accept our advice If anything also they will come Us back to visit one more time and I do recommend everybody visit this location one more time the manager and his employee they are the best ever seen in the dimassis in other Locations ((( Jordanian Manssaf it was delicious

I ve been coming to this location for 4 years and it have always been my favourite, but this time I m giving this place a 1 star because the guy who called himself a manager, didn t provide me with lamb shank for my wife when she was holding my child and sitting on the table, he told me she gotta come or else he won t give me one for my wife, I explained to him that my wife is sitting at the table and pointed at her and he still didn t provide me one, what a shame! This guy does not have manners or communication skills! This incident happened last week.I cannot even give this one star it deserves 0 stars,i told the cashier and she apologised but the manager . I am so glad we went here. I love Mediterranean food but have nothing close back at home in Oregon. The food was great, hot, and tasted great. My husband and I visited this location today June 29th Saturday around 9 pm. Once we started to eat, my husband tasted extreme bitter taste from his appetizers but couldn t figure out which item exactly was coming from. He has got a couple more bites and figured it was cucumbers from his fatoush salad. So he stopped eating that but same bitter taste came from cucumber/mint yogurt. Just to make sure he gave me a small piece of cucumber to taste it and I verified that was it. My husband just got up and let the register lady know our concern. She go ahead and tried but said there was nothing wrong. I don t know if she really didn t taste any difference or maybe got different cucumber pieces. He couldn t eat anymore but he didnt want to ruin mine, so he was waiting for me to finish eating but i just got the same bitter taste from my fatoush salad. The cucumbers were rotten! Neither of us couldn t eat any other thing at all after that so we got up, paid for the food that we couldn t eat. It was definitely unpleasant experience.

The food at this location tastes much better than the frisco location even though it has less selection. I come here frequently and love the healthy food selection. One time I had a terrible experience when we came in at 8.15 based on Google saying they closed at 10 but they actually closed at 9, they charged full price and then started putting the buffet away after we sat down because they were closing. They should have mentioned that to us before seating us and charging us because we would have just come back rather than pay for a full buffet right before closing and have the food taken away as we were sitting down. The customer service in Frisco is much better but the food here really tastes better so we come back but I always have that experience in the back of my mind. Prepare to loosen your belt or bust! It s a quaint Mediterranean buffet with LAMB! Lamb shanks were braised in a tomato-based sauce. You have to request for a serving of lamb though, it s not on display. The salads were good, other meats were average, hummus and baba ganoush were ok. The best ones are somewhere else. Don t expect a classy dining experience it s more like a cafeteria with serious eats. If it s classy you re looking for during lunch, don t go to a buffet Music is not what I d want for lunch either, not a fan of extended play guitar solos. Dimassis is the best Mediterranean food restaurant in Dallas. Huge selection of fresh and delicious food! Wonderful pita straight from the brick oven. And the rose water is so refreshing.

I went here with coworkers for lunch after our training class ended. I had not been to a Mediterranean restaurant before and didnt realize it was a. buffet. While the food was okay. It was difficult to find a clean plate when they were supposedly clean and Ibtried not to look too hard at the drink cups. I would give it 3.5 stars.

I love Dimassis and have been eating here since 2015 or maybe earlier. The food varies in recipe between Richardson, Frisco, and Allen. This location goes head to head with Frisco for my favorite in terms of flavor/recipe. My one complaint is that over the years theyve begun to struggle with keeping the food filled and/or fresh at this location. Its also so popular I feel like a sardine squeezed into a can, and half the food is waiting to be refilled, if Im not careful about when I go... but going during quieter periods means the food is less likely to be fresh. My suggestion is to try and come right as the peak times hit, before its jam packed but after fresh food has been laid out.
