I love this place, been going to it since we moved to Texas and they ve not only been consistent but always seem to raise the bar when it comes to quality, freshness and just delicious food, my family tries to go over the weekends for their weekend buffet( only on Saturdays) which is where they showcase their best food, you won t regret coming to Sababa, the staff is amazing too!

By far, my favorite Mediterranean restaurant! Food was perfect, service was on point, atmosphere was authentic. I appreciated that our server came by to check that our food was cooked perfectly! He also made it a point to talk about their buffet, which we will be back to try out, and was very hospitable! Genuinely great place!

For 8 years this place was always my favorite place until today. I just shocked looks like they sold it to a different guys the meat was cold and not tasty at all,the hummus doesnt taste like before I dont know there is a huge change to the bad . We back home with stomach pain ,headache and diarrhea . Was a very bad I always used to recommend this place but sorry not anymore.

The sandwich was extremely dry and lacked flavor definitely not what I was expecting. On top of that, it was way overpriced at $13 for such a small portion. It says buffet but, the options are so limited that it feels wrong to call it a buffet. The food it self was so bad, it was dry, stale, and tasted a few days old and their potato salad was so sour and tasted nasty. Then it comes to the pricing if a party of 5+ people come in they are charged an EXTRA 18% . This place is a scam. Go try another food buffet.

Shish Kabob was so bad, I asked for medium done, I understand Grilled food will take time, but after waiting receiving a very strong meet, It does not cut by knife, can not be chewed. I showed to the waiter, He apologized politely. I was expecting to change the plate with another one, unfortunately, he only offer me on house a skewer of kefta!!! I left the meet on the plate I paid the full price of my order, I did not provide my phone number for reword point because this is will be the last visit. My family and I went there Saturday afternoon to try some thing different. We were greeted by a young man as soon as we walked in the door and also buy a lady as we were walking to get our plates for the buffet. It was our first time at this establishment, and the aromas of the food and spices smelled so amazing!! The buffet was perfect for us, because we were able to try a few different things, including an amazing pistachio, dessert! The food, the service and the hospitality were far more than what we expected! My daughter, who is a very picky eater loved the pasta salad on the buffet The rest of my family and I tried everything on the buffet and were very happy when we left! Will definitely go visit again!

Drove 40 minutes to come here for the Saturday buffet. Checked the website to make sure the time was correct. Once we got there, we were told the restaurant was reserved and they were only taking to go orders, no buffet. It s 2:50 PM on a Saturday and the Saturday buffet is until 4 PM on the website. This is extremely inconsiderate to your customers. I didn t feel like ordering anything to go after this. Also, at least take down the large white banner that says OPEN BUFFET during an event like this

I ve been eating dine-in, takeout and delivery from Sababa for 8 years. They survived covid! I was so happy. Today, I ordered delivery through door dash and it was as if the entire kitchen staff changed. The chicken shawarma had a weird purple sauce (I assume stained from the pickled radishes) all over the bread, and it was about 50% less filled with ingredients, like chicken. And what happened to the flavor? The baba ganoush that normally is delicious (and has flavor), I received had no flavor. Then, the fries that I ordered were cooked, however they didn t use any of their normal garnish or seasoning salt on them. I don t encourage to order food between the lunch and dinner hours, as they forget the main ingredient FLAVOR

We went for their lunch buffet on a Tues. Price was reasonable at about $16.50 per person (I forget the exact price). Lots of great options and variety of food. The standout was the lamb kabob. Fountain drinks and tea were included in the price of the meal as well. Our server Abdoul was very helpful at answering our questions and providing drinks and refills. Ordered take out one night and everything was delicious. We tried the Greek salad, chicken shish kabobs with veggies and rice, kawaaki pie, pita bread and hummus and a bakery desert. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the rice. Will be back to try their food again! First time visiting, beautiful! The food, a Sababa Sampler, Chicken Shawarma, Salmon Kebab with Fries as the side was ALL ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The sampler came with grape leaves, babaganoush, hummus, and falafel. Complimentary pita was delicious! The Salmon Kebab came beautifully plated with rice and vegetables. Even the Shawarma was plated with garnish. Our server was excellent in providing suggestions and excellent speed of service. Will be returning! We went for the Saturday buffet and the lady at the reception desk was very welcoming and well-behaved. She reserved a table for us since we called ahead of time. I suggest you also make a reservation to avoid waiting in line. She checked on us multiple times to ensure everything was alright. Although there werent many food items, all of them were delicious. Youll enjoy all of them. Theyre refilling all the items as soon as they are finished. Id especially like to mention the baklava, which is heavenly. Make sure you leave some room for it, otherwise youll regret it later.

On the March 2nd we a held a function at Sababa without any doubt we had a wonderful time. The food presentations and tasts were excellent . And the service was exceptional. This is was not out first time as a mater of fact it is our 3rd private function that we hold at Sababa. The worm treatment and great reception received by the owners made us feel like family and at home. Try it you will love it I guarantee it. THANK YOU SABABA FOR EVERYTHING.

Rhonda was the absolute BEST!!! We wanted Mediterranean food, and she delivered. She encouraged us to go out of our comfort zone, and try new things. The food was fantastic!! I forgot how much I love this place. I moved and cant get there as often. I am in love once again with the fattoush. Its the best in the Dallas area. And so much! I had to walk for 30 minutes before I went cycling because it filled me up. Also good to see familiar faces there. Thank you Sababa

I am in heaven! I m a hard sell when it comes to food, because I am a cook and I m big on whole healthy foods; however this place can get my money anytime. It s simple, tasty Mediterranean food with excellent customer service. I absolutely love the mixed veggies with a touch of the spicy sauce that they sprinkle on it. Admittedly, I ve only gotten take out since having relocating back to TX a few months ago, but when I go in to pick up I ve always seen the atmosphere as family friendly, warm and inviting. There s plenty of seating. It s a little pricey at roughly $20+ an entree and even more expensive if you order through DoorDash or Uber Eats with almost a $4-$5 markup on the more expensive combos, BUT if you want good quality, wholesome food the price is justified (not so much the highway robbery that the food delivery services are committing), but the overall cost of the good meals. I ordered lunch for myself and 2 co-workers, 2 Shawarma combos and a gyro through Uber Eats and it cost over $90 (driver tip and up charges) enough to have been able purchase another entree in fees. So I suggest if you want to enjoy Sababa s, pick it up yourself or dine in.

This was the first time I ate here, it was a Sunday so no buffet, but the food was delicious and worth the visit. I had the lamb chops and the zaatar with Labenah and it was very comforting. The service and the music was great, will definitely come back!

Its not bad, but it used to be better. Recipe and preparation tend to be a bit inconsistent at times, like Dimassis or Andalous, but it tasted fine, but nowadays it tastes not so great. Which again, wouod be fine, but the price has gone up to match other middle eastern buffets up north too. So now this restaurant probably has the worst tasting food comparatively, but at a similar price. Would no longer recommend it.

The last two times I ate here, they got my order wrong. The first time, I clearly mentioned I didnt want pickles in my shawarma sandwich. After getting home and finding pickles in it, I called to complain. They apologized and promised to make it right next time. But when I ordered again, the same thing happened my shawarma not only had pickles, but it even had extra, which was really irritating. Ive been a regular customer for a long time, and they know me by name, so youd think theyd be more mindful of my requests. I think Im going to start taking a break from this place.
