Updated review: Not sure what happened to this place. Have eaten here several hundred times, never a meal as bad as this one. Every order was wrong and takeout contained chunks of raw hamburger meat. Ingredients seemed lower quality and bland, stale taco shells not the home style served only a week ago. Hope it is a fluke so I can update review again. But for now Im looking for a new place . Previous: Great food. Great salsa. What more could you want?I go once a week at least for many years.

I came to visit Temple and this was a great discovery, the mixed cheese is fantastic, the fajitas and frozen margaritas are incredible. The attention was impeccable! Definitely the best option for dinner.

Second Visit to Sol de Jalisco: Simply Excellent! The food is just as good as I remembered, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is wonderful, treating you like theyve known you for years. Our server even remembered us from our last visit, making the experience even more special. We went during dinner time and the drinks from the bar kept getting more beautiful with each round, adding a special touch to the evening. The atmosphere is very pleasant, perfect for enjoying a great meal and good company We ll definitely be back My Suggestion: Start with the Queso Compuesto as an appetizer its a must-try! The Mixed Fajitas are amazing, and I highly recommend pairing them with a margarita called the Perfect Sol.

I visited Sol de Jalisco and had an amazing parrillada. The meat was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For dessert, I had the tres leches, and it was delicious! The beer is always cold, served in frosty glasses, which is a big plus. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was great super friendly and attentive. The whole experience was fantastic. I ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

Today I went to the restaurant on Addams and had an excellent experience. I ordered fajitas for two and some Mexican Martini, both were delicious. The atmosphere and service were exceptional, with very friendly staff. I will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended

This small restaurant is a cozy spot that, despite its modest size, offers a warm and pleasant experience. The friendliness of the staff is remarkable; everyone is always smiling and goes out of their way to ensure you re well taken care of. I visited with my family and we were very pleased with both the food and the service. The piña colada I had was delicious and well-made, and the fajitas for two, which are actually more than enough for four people, pleasantly surprised us with their generous portion. It s a place where attentive service and plentiful food make each visit enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it for a meal in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.

I had a fantastic meal at the Mexican restaurant in Addams today. The mini tacos were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The service was outstanding. We will never be back. This is the 3rd time we have been there that the service was less than mediocre. Took 45 min to get our food, they got my husband s food wrong and it took at least 20 minutes for our waitress to come check on us (they weren t busy, they were just too busy leaning against the bar on their phones) and when she did, she didn t even notice my husband didn t touch his meal.

I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and tried the street tacos they were really delicious! The place is under new management, and you can definitely tell. Drove 15 minutes to get tacos. Made sure ingredients were stated clearly and the person taking my order knew what I wanted. Received and paid for my order with confidence. Great place to eat and drink. One of the best micheladas I ever had. All of the food was delicious for the entire group. In town from Houston and haven t found a decent place to eat til now. The manager came by to chit chat and check on things. Great guy and the ladies who waited in us were fabulous. Can t say enough good things. Very pleased. A must try for sure if you have not yet.

Food is always on par at this location for good Mexican and Tex-Mex flavors. This location is aged a bit but its still clean and decent. The service is either on point or slow and seems to depend on how many tables your wait person is handling. A few times someone at the table has had to wait more than 10 minutes for a plate to arrive after everyone else has received their meals. Drive thru is nice for takeout though. The location is great for the area but if its busy, finding parking is circling the area waiting for an open.

Ive been here numerous times due to convenience of location, but each time I go I get a waitress who is more invested in her phone than the customers. Waited about 10-15 for refills while they stand elsewhere on their phones. The food is okay, very oily at times. The dinning area most of the time looks dirty, the table and seats are sometimes sticky/slimy (depending on the staff that day) Overall youve got a 50/50 chance of enjoying your meal here with or without company.

Great food but you ll get short changed on takeout orders. Order veggie fajitas and they ll leave out asparagus, Order the three meat fajitas, they ll leave out the shrimp. Everytime! Guaranteed. (Maybe company policy because of frequency.) Order at the table as if dining in and pack it up yourself or accept it will be missing something you paid for.

Came in a group of about 10 people, service was good except when we ordered beers we watched her take them out of the fridge into the kitchen and then waited so long to bring them that they were all hot. Food was okay, was rather bland. Be prepared for them to add on an 18% tip and not say anything until they ve already charged your card, they did it to everyone in our group and then stopped giving the receipts showing it when my husband said something about it.

If 0 stars were an option I would choose that! I ve been here more than once in hopes that my experience would be better than the others and NO. Marcela my waitress was not good at all. Did not listen to what I asked for. My son and I were the only ones there for a while and never received chips or salsa just multiple workers staring at us. Others began entering the restaurant and were immediately given chips and salsa. Never throughout my dining experience did I get any even after asking. My order was wrong even telling Marcela more than once how I wanted it. She was more concerned taking care of the big group of working men that came in for lunch than myself and my son. Everyone should be treated with the same service not different because you think you will get a bigger tip from a larger table. $42 tab and the service and food were definitely not worth that. Won t be back!

The guac is just smashed avacado, the birra tacos taste like ground beef tacos at white people taco night. It came with no onions, lime, cilantro, the consume was just broth that was cold. The queso with quac and meat had little to no meat and it tasted like canned melted cheese from Walmart. It just tastes like people who don t know how to make mexican food and don t care about taste made this. I will not be coming back. The portions of quac and cheese were small for being a large. Just go to HEB and get better quac for cheaper.

My favorite place in Temple. They have a nice little bar with the best bartender! I love their food. I get breakfast burritos in the drive through often and dining in is always great too. I got the rosemary chicken meal to go tonight and it is the most delicious thing Ive had in a long time.

Ok a co worker suggested Sol de Jalisco to me and I wasnt sure if I could believe him but man he wasnt lying. The taste of the food here is very authentic!..with the exception of the flour Tortillas. They didnt taste homemade enough for me. But man everything else Ive tried here absolutely delicious. Tacos, arroz, refried beans & especially rhe carne guisada! It reminds me of my grandmothers. Seasoned just right and the meat is tender and juicy. I highly recommend it from here! This is my favorite Mexican food spot in Temple/Beltonfor sure!

This restaurant needs to improve their service. Aside from having a long wait, they had a crummy waitress. Food was great, which is the only reason it has 2 stars instead of 1. Went with my parents, older brother and his youngest son. Told to sit anywhere. Sat down, guy brought menus, asked what we wanted to drink. Brings drinks, takes order. A lady, not our waiter, brings the food. After that, no one comes back again until were done eating and they start taking plates. I commented I would have liked a refill, so he brings back refills... for the whole table. We finish our drinks, Our waiter looks right at my dad, who raises a hand and say Excuse me, sir? trying to get the bill. He looks away and ignores us. My brother has to call out from across the room so the whole restaurant can stare at us like were lunatics. They still dont bring us a bill, so my dad finally just gets up and has to pester the lady working the drive-thru. So, think my order might have been wrong, but never got to find out because of the complete lack of service.

After going there for over 10 yrs, i cant in good conscience give them any more business. 4th order in a row that was wrong. When you drive 40 minutes round trip to get your food, only to have the order wrong again. They just dont care about their customers. They have good food when they can get an order right.

The hospitality here is beautiful. My server was Marchuy is she has my order perfect and even referred me to one pf her favorite dishes. The food was fresh and not overly seasoned.

Good breakfast. Always friendly staff. Always busy. My modifications were correct. Bathrooms were pretty nasty though. Place stays busy and the bar add on stays packed. I ll be back

ROACHES! My mother was enjoying a margarita when she saw something floating around in her ice, she scraped it out with her straw and it was a roach... When we sat down and ordered water the hard plastic cups that were served to us were dirty and worn out...one had a clump of dirt and hair on the top of it and the other looked like a puppy chewed on the top could have easily cut your lip it was so rugged. We lost our appetites after seeing the roach, the manager didnt even bother apologizing he just said okay, Im guessing because he knows they have roaches. Not to mention the army of flies we had to fight off. We were half way into our meal when we discovered the roach, and of course my elderly mother got sick that night from the little she had eaten. Our server was new but sweet, even though she got one of the orders incorrect. It was just a terrible experience and we wont be back for the extra protein ever most likely.

First time coming here. The place was dead. Food was mid, the server (alfonso) was dog water, charged us for an extra drink when our daughter ruined the first. Dude was on his phone the whole time. Made my misses wait forever to pay for our meal. Wont be coming back.

Went here on a Tuesday night, with a semi-large group of 16. Service was terrible -- our waiter didnt put in our orders until much later, and we waited over an hour for our food.
