1.Worst Restaurant 2.Worst Food 3.Worst Ambience 4.Worst hygiene Overall please do not go there, as the management and their staff dont have discipline, cleanliness, staff work only for money not for anything else, management has not trained their employees how to greet a customer , how to assign a table, please take care of this first, you will start loosing customers. First when we entered they made us wait for 10 to 15mins,though there were many tables available. Secondly they made us sit in the area were they were sweeping the floor and the dust is falling on the food. Thirdly when asked to change table, they made us sit in a table with so much dirt underneath, leftover food. Fourth we ourselves found a table and sat. Fifth , staff comes to take order and just threw the food on the table and no plates or cutlery set given, eat ur food putting on the bear table. Sixth manager comes walks and says sorry for what u faced, she walks back. All of us had to empty our bowl in the night 1am with severe stomach aches, such is the quality of food, all dried up , not hot......no more patience to write. DO NOT GO THERE, YOU WILL FALL SICK.

we have eaten at Prosper location many times with rarely a complaint. today however we picked food up around 5pm, the prime rib was dried out, the salad dressing and catfish were flavorless, the fries taste spoiled. Absolutely fantastic experience at the Texas Roadhouse in Prosper, Texas! Austin was amazing and made us feel incredibly welcome since we just moved to Texas. His friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out, making it the best experience weve ever had at a Roadhouse. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was top-notch. We went to Tx Roadhouse for my daughter bday dinner. She wanted to go, so we took her. Service was good, we sat in the bar area and our waitress was really attentive. We ordered our app and it was good, nothing special. We each order our dinner, the salad was good as usual. But when it came to our dinner, no of us liked it. My steak was bland and boring. My wife got the chicken strips, they were salty and bland. My daughter got a steak that she usually gets and it was awful. It s hard to find a restaurant to go out and have a steak at and not break the bank, this isn t it either.

So I took my family to eat Here today we were celebrating my husband s promotion at work. We were so excited because we love Texas roadhouse we love their rolls. We love their food. We love their service, but today was the worst experience I have ever had at this restaurant and we come pretty often. We get there not too busy didn t wait Too long for a table pretty decent for a Saturday afternoon we get to our table. The waitress was very kind She was very attentive. We ordered fried pickles because they are my kids favorite. We waited almost 20 minutes for those when we were told it would be eight They were burnt. I m not want to complain. My boys still wanted to eat them. I let it be we ordered not too long after we ordered the appetizer. We waited about 40 minutes for our meal we get our food. At this point, we re pretty hungry My kids start eating. My husband starts eating. I was still picking At the bread, I had a few fries When I go to grab my burger, my bun is as hard as a rock. I can still see prints in it as if someone touch The bun I saw the manager he came up to the Table he was really kind at first I told him that I was Very disappointed in the food that our waitress was outstanding But I just couldn t wrap my head around why it took so long to get our food and then we would get it the way we did. I had told him how long we had waited he apologized he said That wasn t the way we represent the establishment. He said what is it that you would like me to do I said I just don t want to pay for my plate. You can just take it Please, he then went about and took all of my family s food Said he wasn t going to charge us and walked away. My kids looked at me pretty disappointed because they were so hungry. My husband was very upset that we had waited so long and Didn t even get to eat. I was Surprised how he took all of our food when I told him just to take mine. I think I was in shock. Unfortunately, I probably won t go back to this Texas roadhouse, even though it was my most favorite out of the all around us.

Avery, the bartender sucked. I sat for 5 minutes before she even acknowledged me. While I waited for a drink, she was plenty attentive to the couple next to me. No smile, no how are you .. just a what do you want to drink? Finally got a drink. Once I was ready to tab out it took another 5 minutes, then she tossed my card and receipt down. Three stars, because it took three tries to get a rare steak today. Eating alone is no fun. Service by the wait staff was great. Service by the managers and kitchen was well below average. What was so terrible is that I wanted to remember my late brother-in-law with a steak dinner with his widow, my sister. She ate alone, while we kept trying to get my ribeye cooked as ordered. No thanks for training the staff... full price! No discount at all. No way to treat your customers.

I don t know the name of the manager on duty at lunch today but she needs a huge raise! We told the wait staff who seated us that we would be dining with our Autistic grandson today and needed a somewhat quiet area with moderate temperature. She made it happen!! Tonight they were offering free grilled shrimp with every steak. Great! We order our meals along with two glasses of red wine. The server asked how many shrimp we wanted, in mutiples of three. We thought, wow, and asked for nine. The meal itself was excellent. Bone in ribeye and filet were superb, as was everything else. However, the server, without asking, upgraded the wine to Texas Pour, which added $3 to each glass. They also failed to say that only three shrimp was free and only if you hand pick your steak from the front, and so charged us for them. The sign near the front did not say that either. I brought this all up to the server and he said he always upgrades the drinks. No, no, no. You do not automatically upgrade without asking. I didnt ask to have the wine comped, but did ask for the shrimp to be. He only took off one. So I walked over to the GM and explained the situation, and she rectified it. Ive been to a couple of different locations and have never had a bad experience. This absolutely was. They were very busy, but this is unacceptable. We will never be back to this location. Check your bill before you pay, people.

This was my first time eating at this location and I am a raving fan. I went up to the order to go window and was met with a warm hello from Ms. Sam. She was phenomenal. She knew what questions to ask, and she was extremely accommodating with my special requests. I waited in my car, and they texted me when my food was ready. I know my food was made fresh, because I had a 30 minute drive home, and the food tasted just as if I had it served to my table 30 minutes prior. I was very pleased with all aspects of this dining experience and I would thoroughly recommend this location to others, plus hope that Ms. Sam gets recognized for a job well done! I recently ordered takeout from here, opting for the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Both dishes were absolutely amazing! The chicken fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the chicken fried steak was flavorful and cooked nicely. The sides were even better. The takeout setup was incredibly user-friendly, making the process smooth and hassle-free. The staff was courteous and friendly, making me feel welcomed even though it was a takeout order. A wise man once said, If you treat the customer well the first time they visit a place, they are going to keep coming back, and this is certainly true in this case. I will definitely be returning back for more delicious meals in the future. Highly recommend!

Coming from a different country, I was highly impressed by this place. They serve free unlimited sweet bread with whipped flavoured butter, it is so tempting that if you re not careful, you will have no room for your mains. Our steaks, ribs and sides were delicious but the fish dishes are not their forte. The shrimp was salty and the salmon dry and both not very flavourful. They had a lot of variety which I loved and service was delight.

Its a casual dining steakhouse, so anyone expecting some sort of superior dining experience will probably be disappointed. I found it great for what I wanted - a kid friendly, affordable, but good place to eat! I had the 6-ounce sirloin at medium rare and it was good. My children had the hamburger, mac-n-cheese and the dillo steak kid meals. Server was attentive and friendly. Bill was very reasonable, about $40 for the food (no drinks except water). Kid-friendliness: Bright atmosphere, no sense of having to be super quiet (its not extremely loud), plenty of different kids meals options

Don t bother with this place and definitely stay far away from ordering take out. Take out here is a joke. In 2023 I would do a take out order for my family and I every Friday but 2024 their quality has dropped, prices increased and steaks are same quality you would find at Applebees and their cooks have no idea how to cook a steak. Steaks have no flavor, and they don t even bother rendering the fat. I always found myself having to render the fat after arriving home and adding some seasoning. When calling to speak to a manager you re always hit with a I don t care tone. You will always receive your food cold if ordering take out because they don t keep their food in a proofer while it sits there. They will quote you 1 hour pick up time but will have it ready in 20min, which seems like a positive until by the time you get back home the food is all cold vs arriving at the agreed ready time.

Paid almost $150 tonight, left very disappointed. This steakhouse has so much potential and can do better. After receiving our food I immediately got cheap quality food vibes, the food flavors are almost like as if its artificial or from a a can or bag or something & portion sizes are a bit skimpy, looks nothing like the picture . My fork was bigger than my Kabobs. Come on guys, you can do better & this is my 2nd visit both times food was not wow, the steak was almost like wet paper texture, very weird? Whoever is back there cooking... please retrain or replace them asap! Ill come back within 6 months to give an update. I will say the Customer service is good though. You need to put a real trained chef back in the kitchen to watch the cooks before those plates go out.

I had joined the waitlist online and waited an hour before sitting down. Once seated, we ordered the specialty 30 oz sirloin steak medium well. They brought the steak out an hour later well done and dry. In fact all of the food brought to us was dry and chewy. They offered to cook another steak which was appreciated but we did not realize it would take another 45 minutes. In total we spent 3 hours at the table and an hour waiting for the table. Avoid This Location of Texas Roadhouse. We were sorely disappointed at the (lack of) quality and the poor (non-existent) service we received. We usually go to The Colony location but thought wed try Prosper, which is almost as close o us. Big mistake! The three of us ordered immediately since we knew exactly what we wanted. Then we waited FOREVER to receive food. All steaks were ordered MEDIUM but one came well done -- VERY well done. It had been so long and we didnt have ANOTHER hour to get the burned steak replaced, so we just ate the very overdone steak. We also had essentially NO service -- no drink refills, no bread, no water -- until finally in frustration we managed to track down the server and get his attention -- no easy feat -- and demand bread. This was a big contrast to what we have experienced at Texas Roadhouse in OTHER locations including nearby The Colony. The Prosper store managed to make what was to be a celebratory meal marking an important milestone for us into a bad experience and waste of time and money. I am not sure if the Prosper Texas Roadhouse is always this bad, but I guess we will never know -- as young adults facing the current economy and prices, we carefully consider the value when we choose to eat out. We will not waste our time and money going to the Prosper location of Texas Roadhouse again. The quality and service was not anywhere near what we expect from Texas Roadhouse, and was not even up to an absolute minimum standard.

Server was awesome, friendly and fast. Ordered a ribeye medium rare. The cooks at this steak house need to learn how to cook a steak to order. Steak arrived well done. Sent it away and asked to take off the check. While waiting for rest of our party to finish their food, I observe an employee feeding her face over and over while making and preparing bread behind the counter by the entryway. She must have put at least 5-6 pieces of bread in her mouth within 5 minutes. I ask for a manager and some skinny little cowboy w sorry mustache comes over and I tell him about the poor prep of a steak AND how now I ve been watching an employee stuff her face with food while preparing customer food. All while talking to this little manager guy, my wife notices a big piece of lettuce in her sweet tea. Manager says oops sorry about that takes the glass and does nothing more. He got more upset at me because I told the employee she shouldnt be touching her mouth while feeding herself while preparing customer food. Manager tried to scold me for telling the employee to stop eating while making food. Manager has little man syndrome.

I was at this Texas Roadhouse, and the music was blasting. The manager came to the table and asked how we were, and we said the music was extremely loud and if he could turn it down a little. He said that his boss would get mad if he turned it down a little. I really am not a fan of this location anymore because I dont know if I will have permanent ear damage or if I will have to go to the ear doctor. I have a headache after leaving. I am not a fan of this location. All I know is that Longhorn Steakhouse, Salt grass steakhouse, and others dont blast music and hurt your ears that one of my family members had to step out for a while.

The music was so loud our experience was tainted by the atmosphere the management chooses to display 80db was what the meter said! We go to Texas Roadhouse in our hometown frequently and have never experienced an club level atmosphere as we did at dinner 4:30pm. Last I checked it says Steakhouse on the sign. I get that dont want family conversations because people will stay in the seat longer which comes down to money ..management chooses money over family.

Texas Roadhouse is my go to spot! I have been many times and the food is always fresh and delicious. I am a vegetarian, but i can always find something on the menu at this steakhouse. The sides are delicious! Looking forward to going again!

Daughter & s-i-love treated me to my very favorite restaurant? I ordered the usual (8-ounce sirloin, medium rare, mashed potatoes with brown gravy & green beans, topped off with an Arnold Palmer). Yeast rolls with cinnamon butter were served before the main course. Steak was cooked to perfection, no need for seasoning or steak sauce. Grill marks provided great taste...normally I eat half & take half home, but I ate the whole thing! Parking: My s-i-love parked not far from the door. Daughter put us on wait-list; waited about 5 minutes before we were called to the host/hostess desk.

I love Texas Roadhouse. Ive been a million times but never to this location. I will not be back. My steak was completely raw and I ended up eating by myself because everybody else had finished. Update: I did as requested from Texas Roadhouses reply and reposted this to their guest relations the day after my initial review. Somebody tried to call me while I was eating dinner and I asked them to call back the next day but never heard back. I did however return to this location and had a much better experience. I have increased my rating but time will tell if they keep it up and I can keep increasing it.

Waited over 30 mins for drinks. Tea, water & sprite. Server forgot Sprite after waiting half an hr. Never got our bread. Got our 1 appetizer 45 mins after ordering & the server forgot the side of fries as an appetizer for our daughter. Had to ask a different server for her order of fries. Asked to speak to a manager & he never came. So my husband had to go find him!!! Ridiculous. We keep having horrible experiences there & we will never return. We waited an hour for NOTHING. You Texas Roadhouse in Prosper SUCK!!!!!!!! Complete Trash... You deserve negative 100 stars.

Very rude manager onsite this evening. As more options open, this place will like wither with current management. I went inside to ask for help after waiting outside at the takeout window with no help. I was an obvious bother to this lady. Ive been here a couple of times and it was great every time. I loved their bread and chilis. The ribeye steak was also well grilled and very tasty. I also enjoy their draft beers very much, especially the blue moon. I also love that their prices are very affordable, as you get a nice steak with great sides for $20+. The service was always great when we visited and the restaurant was clean and nice and cool. This is a great place to bring the whole family without breaking the bank and I highly recommend it.

April 14, 2024 me and my sons went to dinner at the Prosper Texas Roadhouse and ordered, once receiving our food my son noticed the bacon/bbq sauce was missing from his burger. He told the waiter about the missing items (puzzled look walking away) our overly apologetic weird waiter says something off the wall then proceeds. My son pours bbq onto his burger while noticing a lump of something which turned out to be a razor blade mixed in the bbq sauce. The overly apologetic waiter comes back to say something off the wall again ( puzzled look again) I politely asked for the manager. The manager was not bothered by what she just heard and saw but to smooth it over by blaming the distributor while writing a report/ asked if he needed 911. This was a horrific experience for my boys and could have been a tragic incident, I will be reaching out to corporate. Please be careful dining out these days

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. We never go here. Friday, March 29th, for some odd reason I decided I wanted to go. We waited in line as people cut in front of us because they put a mobile reservation in. Prolonging our wait. No big deal. I didnt know it was a thing. My bad. We get seated and the waitress takes our orders. She comes back 5 minutes later saying she forgot to ask my wife something about her order. Then another 3-5 minutes pass and she comes back and ask me about something I ordered. She then does it again. 3 times. So at this point I know our order hasnt been put in for at least 10 minutes after the fact. Its okay. Im in a good mood enjoying the night. The manager comes out ask how everything is. Of course he does when there is no issues yet. We both got house salads first. Fine. Then our main courses come... my wife ordered grilled shrimp. Everything looked fine. Mine comes and the waitress leaves. I cut it and its chicken fried chicken. I ordered chicken fried steak. I wait for the waitress to come back and check on us which is now taking 10 minutes. When she does I tell her hey this isnt what I ordered. She grabs it and says she will get it fixed. She leaves the sides that are now going to be cold by the time the main course comes back. My wife eats. We wait... we wait... we wait... at this point 20 minutes has passed. Someone comes up and says here is your salad. I said I didnt order a salad, Im waiting for my chicken fried steak. 10 minutes pass. Now the manager is making his rounds to ask people how everything is. Skips ours. Of course he does. Then 5-10 minutes pass again. We have now waited 40 minutes for my dinner. My wife is finished. Waiter comes up, not our original one, and has a salad. Here is your salad, he says. At this point Im just pissed off. I said, dude we didnt order a salad. Im waiting for my main dinner. He leaves. I grab the little screen they have that pays the bill. It said 62.00 for everything. I deducted my steak and left money. I shouldnt have. I should have just walked out because at no point did I get an update. At no point did the manger come by to right the wrong. Nothing. Terrible customer service from top down. It probably starts with the manager. Dont only show up when things are okay. Let us know it is being taken care of. I have no idea why I wanted anything from there. We will never go back.

Texas themed Steakhouse. Southern comfort food. Actually pretty darn good for a lower priced chain Steakhouse. Im used to going to very high in five star Steakhouses where steaks are $70 above. I had the prime rib here. Less than $30. And I was very pleasantly pleased. They do it right here

It was not Collin s night, unfortunately. I have frequented this location, and it always has excellent servers. Tonight was a very different experience. Awkward and hostile are two words that describe the night. Things to mention; 1. Never offered bread for the table. Please note bread was out in the front, so we never got any to begin with. 2. Wasn t an active listener. Requested items we never received and added things we never asked for. 3. When we requested things, he would stare blankly and walk away. No acknowledgement. 4. At times would go missing and would come back to the table for about 10 minutes. Again, it seemed like an off day, but it s not the customers fault. We made sure to be friendly and thankful in hopes that his demeanor would change, but it never did. No one should have to have an awkward or hostile dining experience. Food was good not great, mine was cold and my daughters was undercooked.
