Pretty gross. But we saved $40 over staying at the Hilton! Door lock is broken. Pillows are paper thin. The ceiling is falling in. The blanket has cigarette burns and rips. The shower has mold and broken tiles. Stay somewhere else if you can afford it.

All thats good about this was the location. We booked a room for 5 days before our on campus lease starts. The first thoughts were, the room was spacious. Everything else about this screamed us to leave asap. The corridors smelled weed and cigarettes. The room walls had marks on it. The bed covers had holes and marks on them. The refrigerator and oven were there, but we couldnt use it as they werent cleaned, had rusty appearance within. I wish they take the customer reviews more seriously and work on them. Since, its the closest to the University, the better maintenance can leave a lasting impression, and pull in more crowd; even if it may increase the stay price.

Today is August Friday , 30th I made a reservation online and made a mistake so i called in the front desk for reservations, i don t remember his name since he didn t spoke loud enough for me to hear but I do know he is an Indian guy and he gave me an attitude , hanged up on me , disrespected me , and told me to deal with my reservation problems on my own , he told me stop playing with me and hanged up when I was asking for a simple question , after that I had to call again 5 times and he picked up the phone and hanged up until the last time .

Great location and kind of clean. Thats the only good thing i can say about this motel. The older man running the motel is a crazy psycho. He threatened to call the police when i told him i need 10 minutes to pack. The house keepers just come in like its a party and theyre invited.

I booked a room for 7-19 - 7-21, which was supposed to have two beds, as it was a friends get away and we didn t wanna sleep in the same bed. I said that on the phone, and he clearly didn t listen. There was no way of being safe! Whatsoever. No deadbolt, no safety latch, just the key card. The fact that we didn t have an actual blanket; just the bed cover thing and the sheets was freaking ridiculous! Not to mention the sheets were dirty. It s as if they do the bare minimum to get the room ready for the next guest. We ended up leaving the hotel a day early, not even worrying about a refund because of how bad it was. I d suggest not use this hotel, especially not room 223.

This place is ran by a coward who calls the police after he confronted for scamming customers. It s a family owned business and they don t have set policy, it s just made up as they go along. The old guy is a prick! They never open the lobby no matter if it s snowing, raining, or extremely hot. This places very clean I will give them that but their house keepers are two elderly people who are rude and don t know English. Overpriced, no amenities. City Of Arlington shut a room down until further notice, but this staff went and repoened said room. Got charged for my moms dog and Motel 6 claims that pets stay free, not here. You dont find out until you get there. Want to complain to corporate- do at your own risk because these guys at the property will harass and try to argue you down just you called them out on their policy and swear youre a dirty pet owner, which Im not. I pick up after my moms pet & walk her off property to do her business. Go to the Cowboys Stadium location for better service & actual amenities. This location will never get my business ever again & I hope they lose money and business. Nearby activities: Stadium events & UTA or WNBA events Safety: Can be a little rowdy at times now due to they type of crowd that comes in. Walkability: Great location to walk to food spots & gas station

Well I have to start just pointing at the fact that this motel has no interest in fixing any of their problems and to every complaint respond it with a template. That is why Ill follow my complaint with the City of Arlington and the Health Department. Asking why they dont do anything about this menace to the health of their clients, visitors of their city. This Motel 6 in Arlington is, by far, one of the most DISGUSTING motels I ever been. Not only the miserable state of the room but a disgusting surprise under the sheets. A big stain of pee, vomit o who nows what (see picture) A door with no lock in a place evidently unsecured.. An smell that make you trow up Pillows that are not clean after many uses Cover sheet with holes An many more surprises like bugs crawling on the walls I feel that these people dont deserve a second chance a d the Motel 6 Corporation should take their Name of it before they get a big lawsuit. I reserved two rooms here for my family and pets while we were getting work done at the house. For starters, the pets were not free like they advertised on the website. The man at the front desk was courteous, though, and upfront about the charges. Both rooms smelled strange and the sheets were clearly not cleaned. One room had cigarette butts under the bed. The AC worked well, though, and the rooms were spacious enough overall, so they at least had that going for them. The rooms also did not have functional deadbolts or safety latches, and we should have checked out the moment we realized it. Two days before checkout date, a staff member very nearly barged in on me when I was coming out of the shower. I heard him knock and came to the door and told him not to come in, and his response was to say okay and get his keys out to come in anyway. I had to physically stand in front of the door and hold it shut while repeating that I did not need towels or any kind of housekeeping service. Another staff member had knocked on the door earlier that day and taken no for an answer, so I thought Id be safe. Even though it wasnt our checkout day, we checked out that day and reported it to corporate, who gave me a small refund. A friend suggested the Studio 6 location on Pleasant Ridge and that one has been much better, even if the location is not as convenient. Well stick with that one from now on. Its a shame because this location is geographically in a good spot if you need something near UTA. Unfortunately, it is not worth the hassle. Rooms: Rooms were clearly not cleaned. Nearby activities: The location is very convenient to UTA. Ill give it that. Safety: The deadbolts and safety latches on the doors are non-existent. Beware.

The location is ok. The room is spacious, but I had a bug crawling on my wall. The refrigerator is small. The covers had holes in them. The customer service could be better. It s only one man working and you can t go in, he ll come to the door and do the transactions that way. Great price tho.

Please avoid this place if at all possible. The service at the front desk was absolutely horrendous. Not only did they overcharge but they also tried to keep my deposit when we had left absolutely no damage or even trash in our room. We had to ask multiple times for towels and were only provided with 1 when it finally came. The room smelled disgusting like a locker room and the shower had not been cleaned.

Room was decent. My room had a microwave and fridge. The customer service was terrible. There is an older man who works the front desk in the morning, I feel like he wants to argue with people all day. I saw him arguing with multiple customers. We made a reservation online, however my husband misplaced his debit card so we had to rebook it in my name. He threatened to call the police if I didnt arrive in 10 minutes. I was on my way from work and we told him that. Its not like we were not trying to pay. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. We were NEVER disrespectful. He told us we cannot come back but still took our money. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. This man needs to work in another industry that doesnt require customers or go retire

Update: 02/2024- I made a reservation with NO DOG. Mines died. Check in is at 3pm. At 2:45pm, I get a call from the Dude at the desk telling me he tried to charge my card and it wouldnt accept it. First of all, I have until 11pm to check so why was he already trying to charge me? He also asked me when I was showing up. Once I get there, I give him my passport card and he wont accept it. NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION he wont accept. I asked for my card back and left. At that moment I felt unsafe about giving him anything else. Will NEVER go back again.

This is the nastiest place I have ever been rooms are nasty they have a microwave and fridge in the room that doesn t work because according to the very rude man in the front office says is complementary yet they include it in the description of the room. First of all, you are not allowed in the lobby. They come the door and you speak through the door. This says to me, you want my money but you dont want to interact with me! That is not customer seevice. The room is a roof over your head, but with a little more effort , it would be okay. Yes, just okay. 1. Replace those old flat pillows. 2. Replace the cover on the bed with heavier cover. 3. Replace the curtains with the holes. 4. Fix the crack on the wall that is from ceiling to floor. 5. Replace the old toilet seat. 6. Clean the room! Please touch every surface even if you cant see it. There was hair everywhere. This includes occasionally wiping down the walls. (Something splattered on every wall by.) One plus....the parking lot is well lit. Nearby activities: Great location.

I made a reservation trying to get 2 rooms with 2 beds but didnt read that I chose wrong. I called there to let them know, he stated that it was fine and they would switch it. When I made it to the motel no one was in sight and the door wouldnt open, I waited 15 minutes for someone to show, eventually I found out no one can go in the lobby because its closed down for covid. Got the keys, made it to the room and it wasnt switched like he had stated, so when I called down there to ask he immediately got a attitude and said he told me over the phone to let him know when I arrived that I wanted to switch the room, which he didnt say and doesnt make sense because why would I have to if we already spoke on the phone about it, that was the first issue. Biggest issue is the cleanliness of it, the towels and sheets have holes, the covers are both paper thin, black spots all over the room, grime all around the hotel from who knows what. Just look like 3 men running a hotel that do not know how to clean or sanitize. Im not much of a germaphobe but it was so bad I let them keep the 180 and choose to purchase another hotel.

I gave this place 1 star because they do have a roof over your head. But my first visit was horrible. I checked out of my room within minutes because the next door wouldn t shut their dog up from barking every second. My next visit, as soon as I checked in my room for the first time it was wide open from whoever had access. All I had to do was push the door with a finger and it popped wide open. Nevertheless the lobby is always closed, they want you to stand outside due to Covid advisory but no one in the office is wearing a mask. I wouldn t recommend this place to any medical professionals. If you can Airbnb do that instead. The people seem like good brown skin folk people but I m African American & I don t think they like my kind at all. The rooms that they post online show availability but once you pay online there s nothing you can do about it when you go to check in and they say they re sold out of your room. So you may have to pay more money just to get shelter. Please be careful booking this place medical travelers.

We booked this hotel for its nearness to campus. However, our room had a broken lock, dented microwave (!?), rumpled and not clean looking bedding on top of what looked like a slab of concrete mattress. The lights in the room were dim and filled with bug carcasses. We didnt even look in the bathroom. For the price we paid, I expected it to be spare - but we quickly found a slightly more costly option at a further distance and left.

I ve had a good experience in my room no roaches no inconsistencies like most run down places but management is horrible they will try to ban you. The main light didnt work. There was blood on the sheets. There wasnt any soap in the bathroom. Also the price at check in was $400 for 3 nights. When I booked the room on April 11th the price was around $200. You need to be more transparent with your prices especially for special events. I had to pay the increased proce because the demand was so high for the event at AT&T stadium that i couldnt find another room. I wouldnt have stayed in a motel 6 for $130/night. In addition, the guy Kenny at the front desk was rude on the phone prior to arrival. During check-in he wouldnt unlock the door to the check-in desk until he needed my pin number for payment. It was 110° outside. I wont be staying here for any future trips to Dallas

The front desk clerks didnt check me in even though I paid for my stay online. The clerk said to me that I was not to bother them I had no card no cash and if I got in the way they would call the police to have me removed. I wasnt rude I simply just didnt have my physical card they needed to put on file . I was embarrassed and I had to walk with all my bags to find a way to charge my phone so that I can get a ride. I would not recommend this motel to my worst enemy or a corpse. This place is not even suitable as a morgue. Management was extremely rude. This is the rudest staff ever. They are dishonest thieves. They charged my debit card for a night that I didnt even stay and wouldnt refund it. There is roaches here and the room smelled like pot although it was suppose to be non-smoking. The sheets and bedding were also dirty. The towels were stained. The room has some kind of dirt splatters on the ceiling, burn holes in the comforter, very flat pillows. The guy in the lobby was not helpful at all and we had to keep going to reset our card 4 different times.

You get what you pay for, first and foremost my husband had to pay from a small window you don t physically walk into the building which basically tells you all about the location of the motel. The room over all was decent, have your basics. Sheets had stains, room smelt like smoke oh. And the walls are thin. there s a door that follows to the next room but they have it locked and somewhat covered. I could literally hear the people next to us conversation also could hear their loud television they had going on. Again, it is what you pay for. If you just need somewhere to just sleep and get through the night with a reasonable price this is your place.

Top covers were dirty and cigarette holes burned in them. Demanded clean covers and sheets. They brought sheets but no covers which we put on ourselves, and refused to give us clean pillow cases. They would not replace top covers. The pillows are old and dingy. Had to request more washclothes as we didnt have enough. Microwave was dirty and rusty. The refrigerator is not in much better shape. Cradle for phone had something hard and pink dried up or it which i cleaned out and sanitize. Along the walls in bathroom is filthy! Not even a coffee maker! So many things were wrong. We will never staty here again.

When we got here we already had paid for our room. Once I got to the room it had a HORRIBLE SMELL!! Also, it wasnt cleaned!! The bed looked like someone was still there in the room. I didnt go in at first cause I couldnt tell if anyone was in there or not so I waited for my husband and called the office to complain. He has the nerve to say Are you sure?! The manager came to the room and was shocked to see it as a mess like us. We shouldve gotten a discount or something but he put us in another room that wasnt what we wanted. We wanted a King Room not a Queen. Worst experience ever!! My husband and I just were trying to have some time alone since we have 4 kids and date night isnt much of an option for us.

Don t even think about coming to this dump. Everything is so dirty everywhere, paint chipping, noisy neighbors and so on. Even if you checkin at 3pm they treat you like a criminal, not allowing you to get into the lobby and getting your info thru a little window, even drive thru s have bigger windows.

Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the water was a warm temperature. I would have liked it a little hotter. We did bring our own pillows because some of the reviews stated theirs were flat. We had 2 flat and 2 fluffy pillows.

A great Motel 6, especially close to the university. Good price and daily housekeeping, without ever having to ask for it.Plenty of parking . Stayed for almost a week, felt very comfortable. Will definitely be back, when need to work again at the university. Thank you!

Front desk communication could be better. I needed to extend my stay, and I already had a reservation. The manager insisted I didnt have a reservation, the room I was already in was booked by someone else, and that I had to check out and wait around and keep calling until a new room was ready. Even when I tried to show my reservation, and explain what the last clerk told me the night before, he said he was not going to argue with me. After I called Motel6 Customer Service line, the front desk receptionist called back and said he misunderstood. Friday, was check out day. We had been there since Monday. I called to ask if it was okay to extend my stay, i then was told Im on some sort of list, and they cannot extend my stay because I had an altercation with a lady at the front desk the day before. Which, I had not had any contact with any front desk staff, only with housekeeping, to get my dirty linen. I called CS line again, and was told I was not on a list. I had to wait for the Gm to call me, still ave not received a call.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. My children and I were in the room for 45 min. The windows were all unlocked and open. There was a man outside our room on the phone screaming profanity so loud even the sound of the T.V. didnt drown out the noise. The refrigerator was covered in roach droppings. The bed sheets/pillow cases had dog hair on them and there were crumbs on the blanket. We had not had any food in the room. My daughter had laid on the bed for 5 min and started to complain about feeling very itchy. We could not stay a minute longer. My son whom is autistic was very startled by all the noises surrounding the room. Money completely wasted. Please do not stay here!!

I hesitated posting a review because they all sound the same, but Ill go ahead and leave mine as well. I will start by saying that the girl at the front desk is AMAZING and very sweet. She is the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Regardless, I will not be back. Im pretty easy to please but this place was filthy. I accidentally booked a smoking room, so that part is on me, but beyond the smell, there were easily cleanable smears and stains on the walls, the door handles were disgusting, bathroom was disgusting, and the beds were dirty. I ended up getting some cleaning products and new sheets so I could stomach staying the night. Additionally, the window lock was broken and I had my 6 year old with me (window could easily be opened from outside). The girl at the front desk rigged it so it would stay shut by attaching a piece of hardware to the frame, but it still wasnt super secure (she did the best that she could so this isnt on her). With all of the traffic and activity in this area, Im disappointed that the owners arent even making sure the place is clean. I was glad to check out and will never step foot in a Motel 6 again. Rooms: I included enough photos to describe the condition of the room. Safety: Window lock was broken and easily opened from the outside (had to be rigged to stay shut).

If I could leave no stars I would. We booked a room here and when we arrived (within 30 mins) they said they cancelled our reservation (never received and email call or text) we still got a room which was very nice. But at 3:00 in the morning while my husband and I were asleep someone CAME INTO OUR ROOM! At frist we thought maybe we didnt close the door all the way, but they guy said they put me in this room. We were finally able to go back to sleep. Then again at 5:45 in the morning ANOTHER guest was booked in our room while we were still there! We left immediately after that. They did give us a refund for that but come on. Really that has never happened to us and for it to happen twice in one night!!!?? We will never be going to that property again.

Im not the type to get on and write online reviews but this location needs to do better they get over on people and the house keeping people are terrible lady at the front office has always been nice and respectful its just the housekeepers . Something went missing from my room and i seen one of the ladies coming out and i wasnt even supposed to check out that day . So she had no reason being in my room..

People fighting waking up blood on the ground. Cops there a lot. The motel6 got driven into durning my stay. Owner is disrespectful doesn t care about personal space he doesn t care if your sleep in the shower or you in the kids are in bed. I will never stay here again. If anyone does. My room it s self was great but, the staff here is very disrespectful! I was charged for $90 for a $54 room (1 king bed) and I was told it would be fixed but, I got asked to leave off the property when they scammed me out of my money! I stayed here one night and I set on the property to wait for an Uber and I was asked to sit elsewhere when I purposely asked the office could I sit on office to find an Uber. I was outside 20 mins before they told me I would gain a trespassers charge due to me being on property when I am a paying customer with no issues and no complaints. Due to this misfortune I will not be staying at this hotel!

Terrible hotel, we immediately noticed the black mold in the ceiling in our bathroom and told the front desk and he did nothing wouldnt refund us or move us completely unacceptable this place should be shut down! Will never stay in another motel 6 if this is how they operate! Completely disgusting!

The room we stayed in did NOT have a lock, we stayed with two kids that were more then capable of opening the door in the middle of the night, and when we asked the front desk to move we were told NO by sutan at the front desk, we asked for maintence to come fix the door and we were told they didn t have anyone, and when we asked for a refund they also told us no. I would not recommend staying here with your family

The guy in the office yelled at me more than once for being less than 30 minute late to pay for my room. The first night the WiFi didnt work and when I went to tell him (the manager) about it he yelled at me then and lied to me and said that it was my device that was the problem that the WiFi was working just fine. The housekeepers let me know that it wasnt working and when I let the man in the office know what they had said, he told the staff to tell everyone they dont speak english. They also double charged me which is why i was late paying them today!

It was quiet enough and the room itself wasn t dirty, but all of the bedsheets and towels were heavily stained. When asked if we could get bedsheets changed since ours had a urine stain on it, front desk just said cleaning does that and it was never changed. A minor inconvenience but still would have been nice to have clean sheets. The bed was comfy enough and always had hot water.

This hotel likes to scam people. When we got to the room, there was black mold in the shower. There reviews are very inaccurate, and are likely fake. Do yourself a favor, if you are visiting a son or daughter at UTA find somewhere else to stay. It will ruin your time with them. They decided not to renew our reservation we had made online and informed us 6 minutes before checkout, which I am pretty sure is a violation of the law. It wasted 2 hours of time I could have spent with family. Horrible experience.

Upon arrival, we found fluid stains, dirt stains, as well as hair on our sheets, linen, and towels. We also found purple paint stains on the decorative blanket on the bed. The next day we found a roach crawling near our bed. I get this is a Motel 6, but I do not understand how there can be such a failure to properly keep a room clean and sanitized. Also, we did not have a microwave unlike other rooms. Would never stay here again and strongly advise anyone else NOT to stay here.

This is not our first time at this location, but it is most definitely OUR LAST!!!! Our initial stay in the room was good. Woke up to my truck not starting, the staff and management was so rude telling me I need to hurry up and get off premises, because my children are too loud!!! They are kids what do you expect! Its nice out and we cant leave!!!! Very rude and will be reporting this to corporate!!!!!

good price to be near University. they sprayed a citrus deodorizer tgat is a little over powering. I was taking an online class 6-10 pm for 4 days and the only chair in the room was unlevel; I guess the legs were bent or something. I asked for replacement but they did not. All they had to do was get one from an empty room.

If I can put minus zero stars I would. I understand is not a five star hotel, but cleanness has nothing to do with the luxury of the star number. I did a reservation thru Expedia and in the photos look okay. I arrived late a night tired after a long drive, as I check in I see the employee was very rude, but that is expected at night time. After I enter the room , the smell hit me, but I still try to be positive, I notice the lock was damage and I will not be able to lock from inside, then as I open the bed, i see a foot print of dirt, then a hair, after some other fluid in the sheet and blanket. Then the bathroom was nasty, the night stand had old gum stick to it. I went to the front desk and they give me another room, but I that room was connected to another room in the middle and the lock was not secure, I can hear their television like it was in my room, plus they other guess could have access to my room if they wanted to. I left and did not use the room, I was charge 82 dollars as penalty and thru Expedia after many chats got my money back for only the second night. I found another studio motel 6 near by cleaner, safer and the staff a lot nicer and friendly. If I could attached pictures I would so you can book here to your own risk. Like I said in the beginning price and star number has nothing to do with clean. You can find a modest room with in the motel 6 chain but clean. Not this horrible motel.

I hope to change this review before I leave, but I can t imagine how. We booked the room in the morning. We called before going and requested a downstairs room as my wife is 5 months pregnant and doesn t want to walk upstairs for 6 days. The lady who answered told us one wouldn t be ready till around 4. So we actually held off going until around 3:45. Upon arriving we were time a downstairs room wouldn t be possible, even though we saw the staff cleaning out downstairs double rooms, which we would ve waited on. The first day there was a couple screaming at each other in the parking lot and a fire truck, ambulance, and police dealing with a man right at the front of the business. The rooms have no coffee maker or microwave, which I haven t seen in all my years of staying in hotels. The beds stink and the room reeked of weed and some kind of cleaner when we got in, forcing us to clean it ourselves. We work night shift and sleep during the day, the second day we had room service knock on our door twice, because there is no do not disturb hanger. The first time I told them we didn t need service. The second time I didn t even get to the door before the house keeper opened the door herself, getting caught by the chain before I could get there. I also regret having booked the entire stay on a Saturday, giving us the highest possible cost for the week. Would ve been cheaper to book one night and the next day booked the rest. But even after paying over $600 for six nights we were given no preferential treatment in getting one of the many empty bottom floor rooms. I hope I can change this review, but as of now, we will never be back. Probably the second worst place I ve stayed in my 30 years of staying in hotels.
