I bought I fried turkey today, I prepaid over the phone a week in advance. I picked it up and they told me to heat it up for 4 to 10 minutes. It was ice cold when I brought it home. I had to stick it in the oven for about 45 minutes to an hour in the oven. It did not taste very good. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM JJ WINGS & SEAFOOD again.

Our favorite go-to for Cajun fried seafood and wings. However, my charge didn t go through for three months. Complaints ignored. Management non-responsive. Won t be back to this location until we re compensated or at least contacted. Stars are for food and quick service!

First of all, you have to like a little bit of spice to eat here. With that said, this was one of the best places Ive eaten in a long time. The calamari was perfectly cooked and big pieces with french fries. The catfish and shrimp combo were also great. Only advice, they do pierce the box in order to not make the food mushy but its better if you can eat it as quickly as possible because I got it. Steaming hot and the one box that was kept closed got a little mushy but the other one was outstanding. Not only is this a must stop in the local area, but it might be worth even driving out from Houston to eat here

I live in Houston. My adult son and I love this food. We get it anytime someone travels to Port Arthur. Today we bought over $100 in food. Everything was good EXCEPT THE FRENCH FRIES . I will still go back bc I m hoping it was just a bad day .

I love the food, that is when it is cooked, the fried rice, that is when they have it. The problem with this restaurant is that the young ladies do not listen to the customer when placing To go orders. In the past two months, my rice was mostly dripping with oil. Or the rice was not cooked. The Shrimp and fish are great. Oh if you order extra sauces better check, they will charge you for them, collect your money and not give you the extra sauces you paid for. This has happened to me at least three times. The other night my rice was still crunchy raw, when my partner went to get the problem resolved, the restaurant was not willing to make it right. My advice is, check everything before you leave, taste everything. Next time I will only order shrimp and at least then I wont have to worry weather or not they have fried rice and/or if it is floating in oil or raw. Today 11/11/22 Fish was raw.

Ordered ahead of time (1hour) thru Ubereats and when I got there my order had been cancelled because one item on my order wasnt available. I asked if the other part of my order was available I was told yes but they didnt make it and it would be about 15 to 20 minutes. Im on a 30 minute crunch so now Im left scrambling trying to figure out what I can get quick and make it back on time.

My husband likes the food but the service is terrible. I called last night to place an order after 7:30 but i was told that they were only accepting in-person orders until 745. I reluctantly said OK and said that I would head straight over. When I got there right at 745, I was told that I couldnt order. I reminded the clerk of our conversation from 4 minutes earlier, but she just kept repeating that I could not order. I called the next day to speak with the manager but I was told that the manager was not there and they could not (or would not) tell me when the manager would be available for my call. I have a funny feeling that i was actually talking to the manager. The point is that businesses need to honor what they tell their customers.

Gave this place a second chance. Shrimp are really good. Butterflied, seasoned and cooked just right. Shrimp are roughly 16-20s, which are a great size. 6 was plenty. I had the chicken wings the first time and they werent that great too much batter and not seasoned. J&J Seafood and Wings is a better name because they did way better with the shrimp than wings. Green onions seem to be a garnish that is unnessary because they get wilted really fast. The hole they put in the box on top is kind of nice because it allows the food to vent and not get soggy and it still stays hot.

Picked up catfish/shrimp and salt-n-peppers wings last night. Was among the worst I can remember getting from a seafood place. Might not have complained except I paid at least $30.00 for what I picked up, which made me twice as upset. Whoever cooked the food must not know how to use a fryer, because is was overcooked, and I mean WAY overcooked. Not only that, it was the worst that I remember in a long time as to flavor (it had none). It is not that hard - add some Tony Cacheres to the cornmeal/flour when you are battering the fish/shrimp or chicken wings, and youre good to go (unless you use cooking oil that has already been used up). Wont go see them again because I certainly dont have $30.00+ to thrown in the trash.
