First off, let me say, the service in this place is the best Ive experienced in any dining experience ever. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome of smiling faces, and a great conversation. He gave me his recommendation and let me tell you, he knew what he was talking about. The Street Cart Wrap is out of this world DEEEELICIOUS!!!! I chose the side of Pita Chips and Hummus. Omg!!! The Pita Chips were a delicious surprise. They were fried, and were nice and hot, sprinkled with a seasoning. I could have eaten a big bag of those dipping then in the Hummus. Now, lets talk about that Wrap. It was everything Ive been looking for. The perfect flavor profile. The Lamb was super flavorful. The Garlic Aioli and Zhoug (Spicy) should be bottled and sold. The best sauces on the planet. I sat, ate my meal, enjoyed the music and the wonderful staff. Thank you so much Spitz for PHENOMENAL FOOD and AMAZING service. I will be back. You have a customer for life.

First let me say, the bathrooms were very clean. But besides that, the service was amazing. They asked if we were enjoying our food. We were. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Doner was a must have. Oh and I appreciated that the TV was on a channel called HAPPY TV. Made the environment cozy.

This is a fun little hangout. Decent bar and interesting deco. Their dishes are an interesting twist on traditional Greek food with the use of modern choices like sweet potatoes on the bottom of bowls. Best regular fries in town in my view. Good taziki sauce with real sour cream.

Terrible experience today. I asked if the doner wraps were included in the Gyro Combo . The cashier said yes so I ordered the Berliner doner. He brought out the wrong order, which he fixed though the food was cold and the wrap was soggy when he brought it out. They should have replaced the fries that had been brought out hot 10 minutes earlier. Then, much to my surprise, he came out and demanded that I pay an additional $6. He said it was because what I ordered cost more. I reminded that I asked him when I placed my order that I asked him if that combo option was available. I was so shocked that he had the hutzpa to require me to pay more that I just gave him my card. But he couldn t provide me with the original receipt. It was an unfortunate misunderstanding. But he had the opportunity to make it right. Instead of making it right for the customer, he made it right for himself. I told him if he had communicated to me correctly when I was ordering, I would have made a different choice. He apologized and remained polite throughout. His mistake cost me $6, but it cost him a repeat customer.

I just came by this place on a whim. But man did I stumble into a gem. The staff and atmosphere are relaxed and attentive. The food is on the more expensive side but you are getting a superior product. I was blown away by the donner wrap. Everything was fresh and crisp and the meat was savory and delicious. The fries were also perfect. They have a happy hour for food and drink. So if cost is a factor then coming the. Would be great.

Spitz Mediterranean Restaurant in Plano is a clean, family-friendly place with a nice atmosphere. Although I didnt find anything on the menu that appealed to me personally, the environment was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Its a great spot for those who enjoy Mediterranean and Greek food, and based on the overall experience, it definitely deserves a well-earned 4 stars.

This place is really cute! All of the patrons seemed like first timers because there were lots of questions. But the staff was so helpful and willing to answer anything asked. The food was yummy. I ordered a Mediterranean Doner with falafel via a food delivery app though my work. The order came on time and it was essentially a Greek salad wrapped in pita bread. The falafel was good. The flavors were fresh. I would order it again. My only gripe is that it cost me $15 for the wrap. It was a wrap and thats it. They should have included a side with it (in my humble opinion). Thats way too expensive! I would order here again if the prices were better.

FOOD: stellar. fresh. i really enjoyed the plethora of options, detailed descriptions, and indian + mediterranean fusion options. lemon water is available for customers & free samples of sangria/slushies are available at the bar per request. did not skimp out on the portion sizes. also, the meat is 100% halal! SERVICE: amazing! owners (i presume) checked in on us frequently and seemed to take pride in their food & experience. ATMOSPHERE: very dynamic, in terms of color & music choice. the lighting fixtures were really funky (knotted hanging lights) and the bar was so colorful! the music matched the vibe and it was an entire experience from the inside out. VIBES: very chill & fun! board games are next to the lemon water & cute cat videos were playing on the tv when i walked in. VEGETARIAN/VEGAN: EXTREMELY vegetarian/vegan friendly. everything on the menu can be made vegetarian and there is a section for vegan options (that were pretty similar to the other dishes--clearly not an afterthought). Straight 4 stars really like the flavor. Service is good inside the store. Cant get orders over the phone and no way to change the ingredients online. Overall the ordering experience is where I think this new place needs some assistance. If I cant tell you to leave an ingredient out online ordering that is an allergy to me that doesnt make me want to come in as often. Not a fan of sitting waiting for my food on a to go order so convenience brought my score down. Onto the positive news some interesting choices to choose from and 5 star dipping sauce. The aioli station and zhoug station are a nice addition. I do think staff is accommodating and the times Ive been in seem to work hard to get my order out and accurate. I plan to visit in the evening sometime for the alcohol section. Give it a try. My fav decision is the loaded fries.

Their fries are great! Super crispy and not too potato-y. Entrees were alright but nothing I d be coming back for. I got the street cart wrap with mixed meat and found it was dry. I ordered in Spitz today after hearing the raving reviews and it was solid. I started with the loaded fries which at first was amazing. The difference in flavors, crispiness of fries, and sauces brought this dish together. However after my first 8-10 bites I felt flavor fatigue and I am still trying to understand if I was addicted to trying the dish or actually liked it. Next up was my bowl which was solid. The crispy garbanzo beans and corn was my favorite part. Overall a solid spot to check out.

Good food , mediocre service. Met my son for lunch. We ordered sequentially, but our food came out at least 10 minutes apart. He had a wrap, and I a gyro, so nothing unusual about either order. Then when his food came out, the server brought it to three other tables, despite our having the letter tag clearly displayed on the table. That said the gyro was unique and tasty. This was my first time here and I was excited to see all the vegetarian and vegan options. They even have gluten-free options. I ordered the tikka paneer sandwich with the quinoa side salad. I forgot to take the picture when it first came out, but imagine two of those brown wraps. Way too much for me. It would be OK if they offered half size wraps at half the price. It has avocado in it so not sure how the leftovers will taste later today or tomorrow. When you pay $16 for a sandwich that matters. The sandwich is tasty, but the spice level is higher than what I had been assured it was going to be. I m pretty much a weannie when it comes to hot spice and I d put this at about 2 or 2 1/2. Quinoa salad is excellent. It has Cano, tomato, corn, cucumber, and some things that I mostly see. I ll probably come again to try the non-Indian food (they ate like an Asian/Mediterranean fusion place.)

Ordered the Street Cart Wrap with Beef and Lamp to-go. Added hummus but no cucumbers or green peppers (just don t like them). The wrap was excellent. So flavorful and perfectly put together. I would definitely eat there again. Seriously it was great! The atmosphere and decor wasn t the best, but I m older and just my opinion. My guess is that the younger crowd would really enjoy it. Incredibly well thought out and well executed menu. Every aspect of the meals we had was carefully thought out and put together on my plate. The flavors struck a perfect balance between fresh and rich. Big portion sizes (not huge, felt perfect to fill a big appetite without leftovers). Plus, the service was refreshingly kind and considerate. I didnt catch her name but if youre being served by a lady with long pink way hair (and nice makeup) youre in great hands!! She knew the menu well, was so friendly but not overbearing by even a ounce. Her help was very welcome and she took care of everything before I could even ask (extra sauces seeing we had multiple people, showed us the napkins, etc). Also that red sangria was DELISH. Not your typical one as it has a cinnamon flavor but if you like holiday punch/sangria this should be right up your alley!! Very refreshing. Will be returning here (often hopefully). Came here with a friend for lunch. The joint was pretty packed! Very vibrant interior design and fully loaded menu. Sat down and looked over the menu to figure out what we wanted, you re supposed to order up front but they came to our table and took our order there. I got a gyro that was pretty tasty. Could have used more meat and veggies and less sauce. Pita was really good and crunchy. Inexpensive compared to other places. Staff were very friendly and checked on us a few times throughout our meal. Only other feedback was tidying up the tables. All of them were dirty when we walked in. Not a huge deal. Also, GPS took me and my friend (drove separately) to the wrong place. This is a restaurant in a small shopping center right past Walmart but before Racetrack.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and it was really good. The bowls are made with care. You can taste all the fresh ingredients and they are all separate on top of the bowl so you can mix them together. The sweet potato fries and french fries are very good, the aïoli sauce to dip them in is amazing. I wish they added a little bit more rice to the bowl. Spitz has a legacy in Utah a popular upscale Mediterranean restaurant. It s definitely not a cheap chain it does have its standards and quality ingredients. I ordered a Chicken tikka bowl which was a local exclusive menu. The flavors were on point the rice cooked perfectly the right portion of rice, salad and meat. This place has a nice pop feel I love the colors in the interior. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone to try this place its a healthier version of Mediterranean food.

This place has been on my yelp radar ever since they opened this location. With a five-star rating and rave reviews through word of mouth, Mom and I were sure to be in for a treat - and they most certainly did not disappoint. It was our first time here and we will be regulars here going forward. The first things I notice about a space are the energy and aura it emits. Good vibes from start to finish. As we entered, we were immediately greeted by AJ with a smile. I noticed that there was limited seating, but I believe that to be a good thing. Started things off with cold water infused with lime and oranges. It is a serve-yourself concept along with a soda station right next to it. Mom ordered a Chicken Medi Bowl and I ordered a Beef & Lamb Medi Bowl- from the perfectly portioned meat to tahini and dill quinoa ratio enhanced by the plethora of herbs and spices to the freshness of the cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, hummus, pickled red onions, tzatziki, crispy garbanzos and zatar - we truly enjoyed every bite and we both agreed it was the star of the show! Aesthetically pleasing in presentation and taste, this dish truly shined and will clearly be our choice when we return for lunch another day. The tzatziki and garlic aioli dipping sauces complemented the thin and crispy texture and flavor of the large fries that we ordered and shared as well. No complaints. AJ checked in with us during our meal to see how we liked the food. We told him we would return soon on another day. Also, a gentleman (whom I believe to be the owner but I didnt get his name), was very visible to patrons - we chatted with him after our meal and made sure he knew that we liked the food and that we would be returning. He seemed pleased with our feedback. It is clear that the food quality and service is right on point. Was too full to try dessert. Really wanted to try the Baklava Nut Roll. Next time.

Does this look normal to you. The burnt fries that taste so bad. I ordered the food for my son who is 11 year old and that kid understands what bad food is and doesn t want to eat it. This food is inedible. I ordered chicken wrap, the chicken was stale and chewy. Took one bite and threw it. My wife and kids wouldn t even touch the food

Don t fall for their pictures, it is the most pathetic Mediterranean food I have ever had. Actually it s not even Mediterranean. I fell sick immediately after eating it and started to throw up. Bad bad bad.

I cannot get over how delicious this place is!!! My husband and I dropped in randomly after seeing it had just opened and we were not disappointed! I got a Mediterranean wrap and he got a gyro - both were delicious. But our favorite part was definitely the fries - both the sweet potato fries and regular fries might be the best we ve ever had. Dip them in their garlic aioli sauce - you ll be addicted! We will be back for sure!!

I went to Spitz for the first time today and was so blown away by the taste! I ate the Doner Wrap and my daughter ate the paneer wrap! We ate half of each and loved both! I love that they have lots of vegetarian options and that everything on their menu could be made vegetarian! The harissa sauce was delicious! I want to try every item on their menu, so I am going to be a regular, I guess! Even their restroom was tastefully decorated with vinyl covers!

Fun spot with excellent Mediterranean street food. I got the Berliner Döner wrap and loved every bite. Hadn t had that taste in years since coming back to the US from Germany. Staff was friendly and asked about our food to make sure everything was alright.

We first went to Spitz in Denver, Colorado, and then were very excited when we realized there was one (now 2) near where we live. I am vegan and my partner is vegetarian and we love the food here. I am obsessed with the vegan gyro and my partner loves the sweet potato waffle fries with the garlic aioli. Dietary restrictions: vegan

Very uplifting bright and fun atmosphere. Tasty Mediterranean bowls and wraps! The fried crispy chickpeas and hummus are pretty good! Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Give it a shot and you will be glad you did!
