The food here is genuinely great, but the bar service is absolutely pathetic. It s painfully slow, and the staff always looks like they re in a chaotic frenzy, running around without any sense of direction. After waiting about 10 minutes for service, I decided to walk out in frustration its clear that being aware of your customers just isnt a priority here. While I ve had decent service on occasion, it s frustratingly inconsistent, leaving me wondering if I ll ever be treated with the attention this place seems to lack.

The atmosphere here is great. The service is top notch, and the presentation of the food is terrific. The food itself was not really a style of Italian food of which I was fond, and my noodles were a little overdone (past al dente). Everyone has a different taste in food, though, so please dont base simply my opinion on how you might like it. If you like Italian food, its worth a try. Hope you enjoy it! Dietary restrictions: Use caution. Almost everything there has cheese in it or on it. If you are allergic, lactose intolerant, or cant stand the smell of cheese like me, it might be best to ask before ordering.

Fantastic place! We were stopping by on our way through town on a road trip and wanted some real food. Great food, and came out quickly. Our server, Cody, was also wonderfully friendly and recommended some great cocktails to go with our food! Will absolutely return if I pass through town again.

I love this place so much, best restaurant in hurst/NRH area. I used to order the wedge almost every week. This is one of the best wedge salads I ve had. I haven t ordered in a while and I was shocked when my salad showed up looking like a side salad. I used to be able to come back for a little left overs after eating this one i had to make something else. I m not sure if this is the new portion sizes or if i just got a bag slice.

My girl loves this place, so she wanted me to try it with her. On arrival the manager asked if we could sit at a booth in the bar area because the servers were stretched thin in the main dining room. The bartender was great, however she was also quite busy making drinks for the entire restaurant. I got the trio plate. The fettuccini was some of the best Ive ever had. The lasagna was also excellent. It is a bit different from a typical lasagna as there is no ricotta in it (not complaining, its great). The chicken Parm however was not edible. The breading on the chicken had a really sharp burned taste to it. The taste was so strong that I went through and tasted all the individual components separately. We had the creme brulee for dessert, which was amazing. The custard wasnt gritty like it can be sometimes. But the best part was the torched topping. Fresh, thick. It broke like glass, which is exactly what Im looking for with one of these. Im looking forward to going back. The food was great, the primary issue seems to be that they are understaffed when it comes to waiters.

While this place is cute the food and service were a massive let down. As a gluten free family we were really hopeful. We waited an hour after ordering to recieve a doughy, majorly undercooked pizza, 2 wrong orders, overcooked noodles, and what tasted like canned sauces. On top of that if we wanted an appetizer order of gluten free bread it would be $10 for prepackaged bread. I can ok paying $10 for homemade gluten free bread, but $10 for the stuff i can get for $6 at Aldi? No way. As for those wrong orders? They rushed trying to make them right making them messed up STILL. The lemon wine sauce was straight up wine with some lemon squirted in it and my filet would have tasted better if it was from a texas roadhouse, at least it would have had flavor. $30 for an unseasoned steak and very very sour and off tasting horseradish potatoes was not worth it. The food was such a disappointment I turned down dessert, which for me is a big deal. I just didnt want to order a cream brulee and have it taste like eggs or something. Overall this place wasnt worth the price nor the insane wait when we arrived at a very slow time.

Average quality Italian food. Chicken piccata was overcooked and dry. Appetizer bread was tasty but definitely old and had been sitting under a lamp for some time. A bit overpriced for the quality of preparation of the dishes. Our server, however, was kind and quick to resolve issues. Overall underwhelming but not bad.

Tremendous value! Classic décor, neat and orderly environment, fitting ambiance with proper musica, comfortable seating, and clean bagni. The food was assolutamente outstanding possibly the best cucina italiana Ive had in the State of Texas! Complete with fresh pane with olio and aceto. Our server, Sage, was a real incantatore and he made our pranzo visit a lot more fun. Next time we are in the area, Id be a fool not to stop in. Wonderful experience and a stellar ristorante! Bravo!!

I m not much for Italian food, but I ll go back to this place anytime. The food here was absolutely exceptional. Was it a little pricey? The answer is yes. But I don t mind paying a little more with the quality of food and the preparation of the food being top-notch. They were kind enough to allow me to park my bus on the far north edge of their parking lot overnight since the holiday Inn is right next-door. you can t beat people who are accommodating, friendly, and prepare exceptional Italian dishes. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and chose this lovely place for dinner. The bread with oil and vinegar was yummy, the house salad was delicious! We both had the Fettuccine Alfredo which was also delicious. If you love Italian soda like I do, you have to try one! I got cherry lime and my husband got blackberry. They were both amazing. The atmosphere, service and food were all top notch. We had an amazing time and I think this is our new favorite place! Thank you to the friendly staff!

Samuel was fantastic and quite knowledgeable of the menu. He had no issue making recommendations and we both chose dishes he suggested. The food is phenomenal and I love the unique dishes. So when visiting this place, I was looking to speak with the owner or manager anybody available and I got this person named Joyce yelling at my face, which was super scary so I would like to write my review here since the service was terrible and this place literally made me cry. A wonderful place we happened upon today! The atmosphere is sweet, open, clean. The staff is Wonderful. Best service Ive had in a very long time. The Caesar salad was so fresh, the fried mozzarella was great. The Manicotti bolognese was SO good, and my Texas mule was delicious. Sage was our server and he was awesome. The salad made it out so quickly it beat the appetizer, so he greeted us with a sweet treat even though it was all amazing to us! We will be back! Wish we had a spot like this near Mansfield!

Would not have stopped here had Trip Advisor not told me to. The outside definitely didn t match the inside. It was like some 40 s restaurant on the inside, super cool! You get this soft, hot, delicious bread with oils when you sit down and it only got better from there. I ordered the sangria Rossa cause it sounded ridiculous but it was pretty good. Next time I m grabbing that black Manhattan. For dinner I ordered a side salad (which was huge and amazing!) along with the stuffed chicken Milanese. So good! Of course I had to order dessert and it did not disappoint. I would have normally ordered tres leches cake but this chocolate raspberry cream cake sounded so good. It was their version of the tartufo and it was heaven. I would not have changed a thing about any of the meal, except maybe adding another spear of asparagus to it. Two spears seemed a little lackluster but that s just me. Also, my waitress was fantastic! She deserves a raise. I don t remember her name but she was the blonde haired version of Natasha Lyonne. Same mannerisms, some raspy voice, and just as quirky. She was the best! Go here if you get a chance!

UPDATE: 5/27/24: I m going to downgrade this review. Went here for our for our anniversary and the food and service were good. The only thing that really bothered me and my wife both independently noted that the hostess instead of greeting us, looked at us upon entering and literally said what can I help you with? Like, seriously? What kind of way is that to greet a guest let alone as a hostess of a restaurant. Upon leaving after our meal, the same employee couldn t be bothered to look up from her cell phone, back turned towards us as we exited the restaurant. ORIGINAL REVIEW My family visiting from out of town were staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door and ate here. They had only positive things to say about this restaurant from the food to the ambiance to the music. To think, I almost went to In and Out Burgers instead of enjoying this fabulous meal at Italiannis in Hurst . The service was excellent, especially for being late in the evening. The food was spectacular. The presentation was well done, the main course was not over seasoned, the salad was just beautiful. I took one look at that cheese cake and knew I had to have it. It was one of the best cheese cakes I had. All of this for a very reasonable price for a meal of this caliber. I highly recommend this restaurant and I am certain I will be back. There are many more dishes on the menu I would like to try

I normally enjoy the food But ordered online. we got there waiting and told them my name, after waiting hour. I recheck to only find my order had been canceled. We waiting for nothing. They oh it might been canceled over asking for egg and cucumbers on a salad. I have always ordered my salad this way. They shouldnt have canceled over that. They could have called me left me know it be what $2 at most differenc or whatever it would been. Or asked me got there. To cancel a full order when someone was waiting and never bothered to inform us. We standing right there. It seems everytime we order food online for them something is wrong or missing . Once they gave us someone else order. It so expensive not for everything not to be correct. I ended up going get food elsewhere. I was hungry after waiting so long for the canceled order.

Everything here is good, in my personal opinion. Especially, the stake. Staff is extremely nice. Bathrooms are clean, and main areas are always kept clean. We have been going here for years. Never had a bad experience. Kid-friendliness: They give the kids crayons and a activity paper. They have a kids menu. Portions are big. Macaroni could almost feed 2 kids. Great value for the money.

First time visiting the restaurant I thought it was beautiful, good friendly and quite attentive service. The waiter was very friendly and quite attentive and above all he spoke Spanish, something that made me more comfortable when ordering since I dont fully speak English. Very good food and delicious desserts. A good place to eat pasta and have a good time with the family. I loved that the childs meal included delicious ice cream dessert. We had an excellent time. Very delicious bread.

The food the service is absolutely awesome. I have had typical dishes and I have not been disappointed. Tried chicken parm, strawberry salad, spaghetti with bolognese, house salad. Chefs kiss !!!!! mwhah. Customer service is astounding, location is beautiful. Love Love Love this place definitely reminds me of the authentic italian food I grew up eating. Thank you!!! I heavily recommend this establishment. P.S. Almost forgot the oil provided with the homemade bread is DEE-LISH- USSSS!!!

Our 1st time in last night and we had the BEST waitress, Jess. She was very sweet and attentive. The food.....OH. MY. GOODNESS.......everyone at the table thought theirs was the best. Literally everything we ordered was so good. We had a perfect check from bar drinks, apatizers to desserts and the portions were amazing too. We cant wait to go back and keep trying the menu!

Tonight myself and my 2 family members went to this resturant for dinner. The food was excellent. On another hand our server Kelly was very unfriendly and not checking on us if we needed refills or other things. Kelly seemed to not like her job or just had a rough day.The main dishes came out and they were delicious. Again we didnt see kelly for 10-15 minutes were served. We were not offered parm. Cheese on the dishes. The other table of 8 were getting top notch service and checked on more frequently. My family and i waited about another 10 mintues to flag kelly down and get refills. I understand the place was somewhat busy. If the server was overworked with the party of 8 she had we should of been seated with another server that had less tables. MY family and I were visiting from Florida. When we were leaving my family and i were talking about the price was very affordable. Kelly overheard us and had a smerk on her face and laughed at us. We still left a 20% tip. Did my family and i think the server should of got a 20% tip no but again the food was worth it.Thank you for good food & a nice atmosphere.

My waitress Jess was by far the sweetest waitress I have ever in my 55 years encountered. She deserves a raise..So helpful and periodically asked if we needed anything Even packed up our to go box .Im from NY and Sicilian so I am picky about my Italian food and I was VERY IMPRESSED! I went last night on opening day for the Rangers. First time there. It wasnt busy at all. Ordered stuffed mushrooms, they came out barely above room temperature, and the itallianos trio. I added chicken to the pasta, and it wasnt bad. Though the lasagna and the chicken parm were absolutely atrocious. I took two bites of each just to make sure. It was bad. When I asked if there was something that could be done, I was told Manager says we stand by our product. The manager didnt even come over to talk to me. It wasnt the bars fault the food was bad. I put this on the cooking staff, but most of all, the manager. I wont be back. It wasnt worth the time to stay and argue.

We had chicken Alfredo pasta and lobster ravioli. They both lacked seasoning. The lobster ravioli, Ive never had any like this before. It seemed as if the lobster was grinded up (no lumps of meat) and it tasted more like tuna. The bacon wrapped shrimp (appetizer) was good. Food

Iam a uber driver I have picked up a couple times here before .I have dine here before 1 time.but as a pick up driver they are so rude.told me to step to side if I was picking to go to bar .so I did then guy at bar yells.go to end of bar an get food orders.then girl at at end of bar hand me food for who picking up for an snatches food bag out my hand .bc she need to to confirm the order on mys screen which I did!NOT ALL UBER DRIVER STEAL FOOD.SOME OF US ARE JUST WORKING TO PAY OUR BILLS. Best server I ve ever had made my night not ruined , I did not like my pasta and he was a true genuine gentleman, he tried his best to make everything right for me, got the manager involved without me asking and she comped me a free dessert since I didn t like my order and opted not to get anything else, for context I am pregnant and got chicken spaghetti, I did not like the marinara sauce at all however by time I got my food it was about 30 minutes before closing and I didn t want to be that guy so I decided not to ask the kitchen for anything else, my husband loved the margarita pizza and from what i tasted of his it was good (but again I didn t like the sauce) , their homemade bread was heavenly, I recommend the strawberry lemonade if you re looking for a good non alcoholic option, my husband recommends the blackberry(or was it black cherry?) cream soda. This is a place you can dress causal if you want too but also fancy if you re looking for a romantic date night without breaking the bank by going to Dallas lol

I decided to give this place a second chance, but our whole party got sick afterwards. The bread was hard, the meals seemed fine and while we ordered different dishes we all got sick. It had to be the food as some did not have bread. Prior Review: While not bad, there are aspects that would make it better. The fettuccine alfredo was good, but the rest average or below. The caesar salad is not something I would purchase again because croutons and dressing were average. The calamari does not taste like it is made in house or something I would care to order again. They did have great service, but at the same time they list they offer curbside pickup but fail to honor it.

From the moment we stepped in, Itiannis in Hurst provided an exceptional dining experience that will be remembered for a long time. The manager, Shannon, was incredibly accommodating, setting up a delightful lunch for Mitch, who, due to a light-hearted bet, graced the venue in a stunning wedding dress, adding a unique touch of joy to the atmosphere. Mitch a bearded man in a wedding dress was the star of the day, the public embarrassment was seen in how blushing of a bride Mitch became with all of the attention by the staff and the other customers. Our server, Lori, was phenomenal - attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure that Mitch had a pleasant and entertaining time. The staffs warmth and the cheerful reactions from other diners made the day extra special, affirming how fabulous Mitch looked in his attire. The highlight, a playful cake-smashing tradition, was executed with humor and grace, leaving everyone in high spirits. And lets not forget the food - as always, it was nothing short of amazing, ensuring that the culinary experience matched the days merriment. Itiannis has once again proven why its a favorite. Went here for Valentines day and ordered their $145 Valentines day 3 course meal for 2 - The waiter started off by saying how busy it was so to expect him to be slow and bear with him. We felt very rushed to order quickly and barely had time to look at the menu. We were deciding what we wanted as the waiter stood next to our table with pen & paper making us feel like we had to decide right then. We started off with the Charcuterie board which was missing the choclate covered strawberries and the roasted almonds it is supposed to come with. Also, the board came with only 5 crackers which was not enough to enjoy the board. When we asked for a few more we were told it would be an additional $2. Then came the entree. Wagyu NY Strip and Prime Rib. The Wagyu beef was 110% not wagyu and in my opinion I don t believe it was even prime beef. I requested my steak cooked medium rare and it was cooked much closer to well done. The prime rib was requested well done and undercooked in parts. The mashed potatoes that came with it were good and although the jumbo shrimp that came with the wagyu steak were cold they were at least cooked properly. Finally the dessert, one small slice of red velvet cheesecake for 2 people to share. For $145 I was expecting a bit more than one small slice. This was no cheesecake factory slice - this was what youd expect for one person. Overall the experience was very bad, the food was very bad and I will not be coming back to Itallianis in the future.
