Great Spanish Rock on some days, the food is great, but getting a seat is a cluster. The receptionists are inattentive most times and you cant make reservations in advance online. Only in person. Outdated in their operations.

The toasts were super delicious, Leslie served us, she was super friendly and her attention was excellent. The entire time he attended us with a great attitude and was very attentive to our table. The atmosphere of the place was incredible, the music was very Mexican, I loved it. Its a little piece of Mexico in San Antonio.

Food .. very sweet mango ceviche, over cook red snapper and coconut shrimp .. shrimp was the only food actually ok .. service .. I asked several items and never got it .. I believe magic number is three .. if you asked servers three times it happens .. like extra plate, hot sauce , chips or napkins .. by the way I never got the hot sauce .. one thing that got my attention , if you ask something another server other than your server that wish/request is never happening !! so overall three stars .. The food is terrible. Service is weak But most disappointing was the fact that this restaurant CHARGES A SERVICE FEE to use a credit card ! Seriously. They are charging me to use my money. Isn t that double taxation. I have been to many restaurants all over the world and I don t remember any of them changing me a few to use a credit card in addition a ridiculous fee for a larger party than six ! If you have more than six people at your table they charge you a ridiculous 18% fee to be there ! So before you order you will already have Two fees one for using a credit card and one for a large party of six or more! Surprised this place is still in business!

Loved this place. Food was excellent. I got the fish with octopus and shrimp inside. Amazing. However the service was mediocre and the lady who tended to us got us on a party of 7, but decided on her own to put us into the large group of 10 or more category to gift herself an undeserved tip of about $50. This is my wife and my 4th time here. Twice this week. The Mon - Tuesday happy hour makes it great to come twice a week. The seafood here is amazing, comming from New England seafood having fresh gulf oysters and other fish was a treat I can get used to. Order any Cerviche here and you will not go wrong. Was sent here on a DoorDash order for one soup!! I had to find someone to get help then was told over and over it was coming right out no time estimate. Ignored for about 20 minutes and ended up, dropping the order and leaving.. the restaurant wasn t even very busy. Bad. Complete waste of time and felt like bad service with how many servers were just walking around while the food is taking that long. another driver was there waiting even longer than me and he bailed at the same time. they re open tables and customers waiting to be seated about as long as I was there too.

Food was okay, but there was loud dance music playing the entire time. The high chair was an normal high chair brought out to a bar hight table what the heck, we walked in with a baby and asked for a high chair - MAYBE - sit us at one of the normal hight tables. Just a thought. 10 min after us she sat another table with a baby and did that same thing. The salsa with the chips were not really for me flavor wise. My wife loved the mango ceviche but found the tacos al pastor to be completely inedible. Fish and chips were fine, pork carnitas were dry. I didn t get a refill on my drink. It seemed popular, I m sure the bar/mixed drinks is a big draw but I probably won t be back.

We went Friday night to celebrate the birthday of my wifes son. Busy place. At first, the location of the table was on the patio, not very comfortable, and the table was dirty and covered by debris. We cleaned up. Margaritas was ok, not the best that I had before, even if it was top shelf. Food was average or below average, and warm, not hot enough. Seems like it was warmed up in the microwave. Tables are very old, and I think they need to update those table. We wont be back. This restaurant has gone down since it was open around 10 years ago.

More of a bar rather than a restaurant. They are a pretty dirty establishment, all of the hot sauce bottle are so caked up that the sauce nearly comes out. We got a long hair in our food we sent it back but didn t even get it taken off the receipt or something anything. The server was rude after we told him about the hair in the food. The floor was sticky and dishes that the limes came in were dirty even thought there were just limes in the dish. And there were employees just walking around and it wasn t busy. The food was good but just the thought of how dirty it was inside the restaurant and dishes were I could just imagine how dirty the kitchen hopefully we don t get sick.

Wow , what an amazing seafood latin culinary experience ! With chefs from Mazatlan Mexico , the selections are endless and the flavors just explode from one dish to the next . There is a special hot sauce called Salsa Don Moria and it is far and above the best salsa experience in San Antonio. The Costa Pacifica snapper and camarones aguachiles were our choice for this visit and both were incredible. The service , atmosphere, and cleanliness were spot on . I didn t know it was ultra Latino, which is fine but I would rather had football on the tv s than soccer (on ALL of them). Still not that big of a deal but 4 stars for the high VOLUME. Been here many times, food and service has always been great. Went 10/15/24 for dinner. Started good, but ended horrible. Didnt get everything we ordered until we were done. Waitress delivered our food and vanished. Her attitude was infurating when placed one of the late items on the table knowing we had finished and blamed the kitchen and made no effort whatsoever so take it back. A side of guac doesnt take the kitchen 20 minutes. Then charged us for the other item that never came and acted miffed when I demanded it be removed from the ticket. All the food was average or below. Will never go here again and strongly advise you dont either.

If I could zero stars based on the experience this time I would. First off we ordered nachos from the happy hour menu and when they brought them they had shrimp. No where did it say shrimp. Last time we went we ordered the exact same thing and they were bean, meat and cheese. I asked what the rib eye appetizer was and the waitress said it was rolls. When they brought it, it was not rolls. When we got the bill they had tacked on a 3percent credit card fee with no notice. We cashed out since the waitress was leaving so she could get her tip. We kept ordering. They brought us a free drink to try. When we got the second bill they had overcharged us for some shots we ordered to incorporate the fee for the drink. When I pointed it out they took my card (you can use a QR at the table) and said they would fix it. The second bill they added another 3% fee that the wrong bill didn t have. Check all of your bills as they are taking advantage of customers. Also- if they are going to automatically add a fee they should give advance notice so that if a person wants to pay cash they can -SHADY!!!!!!

We d been wanting to get dinner at Costa Pacifica for a while and finally made it over tonight. Their seafood selection is wonderful! Because we went on a Tuesday night, they had great appetizer happy hour specials. We got the ribeye carpaccio and the jalapeño ceviche for apps - the carpaccio was delicious, I could have drank the broth it was so tasty. And we shared the zarandeado octopus (cooked perfectly) and torre lida (this awesome tuna tartare dish with avocado and mushroom). Portions were generous and service was excellent. The patio is spacious and they are dog friendly - we were able to bring our pup, snagged a side table, and it was a great experience overall!

The Tlalpeno marisco soup has worked miracles when I am feeling sick. The combination of this soup is so heartwarming I feel like it s food for the soul. The best part is the broth with the combination of the rice and mariscos. Definitely recommend. I love it!

I had the shrimp cevichi, and it wasnt that great. Very expensive, $26.00 for cevichi and a lemonade. This was during lunch. The presentation was good, but it tasted really fishy. I thought I had ordered the shrimp cocktail, though. Didnt return the dish.

This place is a great stop for drinks and tapas! There are some good dishes but I m a sucker for the marinero rice and a margarita. It s satisfying and delicious. This place is in my regular rotation of take out and chill spot. They do have live music on different nights and sometimes this place get crowded but definitely worth checking out.

Extremely noisy place! I have never been in a place like that! Mojarra is not good. It was very chewy. Grilled fish was fried. Fried beans is the only OK food. Please do not order seafood here. NOISY NEXT LEVEL PLACE! Unless you are drunk, there is no way for you to have a conversation. It is overwhelming!

They changed the menu approximately 3 months ago and the truth is that the taste is not the same. I ordered an octopus and it was very hard and dry and even a little bitter. The truth would not return. It used to be one of my favorites and the prawn soups served on bread were spectacular.

My husband and I stood at the front entryway for nearly 10 minutes without being acknowledged. A waitress came over there and it was as if we didnt even exist. The atmosphere with the live music on Saturday was great! I had the Vuelve a la vida seafood cocktail that I Love and it was delicious as always. Great family dining, hanging with friends, watch the game/sport, parties, etc. Kid-friendliness: My daughter is almost a teen. She was warmly accepted, had fun and loved the food.
