Was looking for a place to play battletech after getting one box; now this place has not just given me a place to play the game but has let me make genuine friends after moving here. They ve got a great selection and variety of other games, and the staff are engaged in some of the hobbies as well, and are very knowledgeable in most realms, or at least know someone who is. Overall, an amazing place to shop, or to hangout!

Etiin Games is a wonderful environment, cultivating community gaming for all ages. TTRPGs, miniature war games, card games, board games, hobby paints, dice collections, Ettin has it all. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and engaging with a variety hobbies. The store is always hosting gaming events on every day of the week, all visible on the store calendar. The community players are welcoming to new and old hats alike. Theres no other game store I would like to frequent more!

The most chill place for gaming, painting, and everything in between :) The owner is a really chill guy to match and has even given me some pointers in the small business area. The atmosphere reminds me of the good ol 90s arcade. Just friendly peeps gaming and geeking out with like minded folk. Highly recommend this place for all your tabletop needs!

Had been looking for a Battletech tabletop gaming group for a while, couldnt find a consistent one until I started playing here. Staff does a great job organizing events and is always available to answer questions. Gaming tables are quality, and theres always enough terrain for a game.

I run my weekly games at Ettin, the staff is friendly, they work with me and my group to reserve tables, order products and give us a good playing area with large tables, terrain and battle mats so we dont have to bring our own. I cant say it enough but this is the game store to play tabletop if you live in North Houston.

I have shopped at and attended events at Ettin Games for years. Joining in a one-shot RPG day adventure was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I met my best friends at that game. Coby was very informative and we spent over $100 in board games because of his great recommendations. The only advice I would give this store is to label their products better with signage because it was a bit hard to tell where things were even though it was relatively organized. Update: Yall knocked it out of the park with the signage!!! This is an establishment that takes feedback and builds better experiences for everyone. Great job!

Just had the best time at Ettin Games! Ken, the manager, was super helpful and knew everything about their games. The place was clean and cozy, perfect for browsing or playing. Im honestly surprised I havent left a review earlier. My family and I love this location, especially my brother since he tends to come here once or twice a week to play Magic: the Gathering. My date and I came in last Saturday afternoon to play some games. Unfortunately all the tables were occupied. But, the gentleman who was running the shop (who s name I don t recall but will update when I have it as he deserves some recognition) realized we were there on our first date and immediately shuffled some chairs and made room for us. We then proceeded to have an amazing time! Giving Ettin five stars simply for the outstanding customer service.

Great Friendly Local Gaming Store (FLGS)! I get up here when I can, the support many gaming communities and the staff are always helpful and friendly. They have room to game and regular events. I live 40+ minutes away, but when Im near I always stop by to see what is going one and what the have new. Each time Im at a new town away from home I try to visit a local gaming store. This one visited I purchased cheap sleeves for a new Redemption TCG demo deck Im using at the South TX Royal Rangers annual leadership conference in Humble TX. While I was test-sleeving the cards I met with the store general manager Ken and Derek, one of the managers. Gave Derek a KL starter. He and Ken were extremely professional and hospitable. We also had an amazing and fruitful gameR chat. The store is amazing, well-stocked, clean. The management also makes sure that noise level from players talking is kept in control. I came back the next day to buy more card sleeves. Another store employee was there to take care of me. She was likewise amazing. A great gaming store for gamers who wish to have fun and rest.

It was our first time here but we really enjoyed it. The staff was welcoming and did their best to approach those coming in to see if they needed assistance, the shop was clean and well organized with private rooms for table top adventures as well as open floor play areas. Most shops get overzealous and try to do it all but these guys stick with what theyre good at and it shows. You may not find comics, Yu-Gi-Oh, or much Pokemon items in store but they definitely make up for it with an expansive assortment of everything table top which made this shop perfect for my interest. This may very well be our new go to place for adventures and magic. Keep it up guys!

Great store! We walked in for the first time yesterday and the gentleman that rung us up was extremely helpful. I forgot to get his name but Ill include it in my next review because well be back soon! He helped my fiance and I pick out a couple great board games. One of our favorite they had in stock is IVION. I wont go into more detail here, but we bought the first box and came back the next day to buy the two other boxes they had in stock. What can I say about Ettin Games that isnt absolutely self-evident if youve been there. Their store is such a great place to go to play all kinds of different games. I think the guys inside thought I was going to steal something, because they jumped up from the back and made themselves busy where they could see me when I walked in. Thats not really what I would consider a welcoming experience, but I bought some models regardless. The selection seemed pretty good for a non GW store.

Definitely the coolest comic book store around! They have a huge selection of games and additions to those games. They have a section of paint and art supplies for your mini figure projects. they host game nights. Ive been in a few times and I love it. The staff is definitely knowledgeable and helpful.

Theres so much stuff here. If youre playing D&D or other TTRPGs youve got to come in. Theyve also got a lot of board games that I think you can rent out and play there. Staff is real nice as well.

Amazing new location, they really watch out for and take care of their visitors. Lots of respect for the employees whove taken the time to help out those with questions. There are plenty of spots to sit and play with a plethora of materials in shop to make use of. Enjoyed the times I played there and hope to do so again.

Do you own a table? Do you like games? Then this is the place for you! Ettin Games is the one stop shop for just about any tabletop out there. Whether its D&D, Warhammer, Pathfinder, or just cool board games, theyve got something you will want. The staff here is really friendly and is always willing to help! Ive recently started my journey into painting minis for D&D and one of the staff gave me such a knowledgeable rundown of the ins and outs, and made it super easy for a novice such as myself. Cannot recommend this place enough, definitely check them out and support your local tabletop hobby shop!

Great staff, super friendly. One of the clerks, Cherry, was very helpful with all of my purchases and even let me know that there was a game happening that evening, which I stayed for and will continue to attend. You wont regret giving this store your business.

Wow this place has tons of amazing games. Took my kids in there and we all found something we couldnt live without. The staff was also very helpful explaining different aspects of the games to help us find what died each of us. Our family game night just got a serious upgrade. Update: They moved to another store front in the same shopping center. Its much bigger now and has themed rooms to play in.

5th star reinstated due to the new location and vast improvements. The private rooms are expensive, but wonderfully decorated and soundproof. Everything is turned up to 11. Staff, selection, space, ambiance. Its worth your time to come check it out.

The staff is very friendly. And they keep the store very organized and clean. The seating is ample. And they do offer a sound resistant room for using (with a small fee) if a group of players would like to use it for a private gaming session.

This was my first visit to Ettin Games but it definitely won t be my last. My wife and I wanted to check out some new board games and were very impressed with their selection and prices. Colby helped us and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He gave us good recommendations, and set us up to play some games in store before buying. We ended up having a very memorable experience and finding some great games. I highly highly recommend you come check this place out!
