Mariposa has not lost its touch. After many years in operation, it is still a wonderful and inviting place for lunch. I had not been there for some time. This beautiful restaurant is found inside Neiman Marcus Willow Bend in Plano, TX. We were glad to see that the setting is still inviting and we also enjoyed the traditional and complimentary chicken broth served in a demi-tasse along with their famous brioche popover bread served with strawberry butter. The fish tacos were a hit along with other items on the menu. The food remains delicious and service excellent, while the famous store and restaurant however, were sadly lacking shoppers and customer foot traffic.

Fabulous! I used to go here for lunch 10 years ago and I just had lunch and it was 5 stars the same as I remember. I had read other reviews but I must say my lunch was divine ordered the special prime rib dip, broth to take home, the popover was as good and everything I saw comng out of the kitchen looked amazing. I will be back soon. The service by Bryan was superb I gave him a 35% tip. My guest also loved it. I wish they delivered sometimes I cant leave my home. Also, oreder the italian cream cake and the chocolate cake to go plus the cobb salad. You know the store as also nicer than expected I know it could never be the same but it is not as bad as it was described in other negative reviews.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing service, and delicious food. What more could you ask for? Also Tara, is very outgoing and attentive every time I visit. One of my favorite restaurants of all time ^^

What a great gem on the 3rd floor at Neiman Marcus. The popovers are so fresh and good! The salads awesome and it has top notch staff. Was a great place for lunch.

We have been going to Mariposa every week for years. ALWAYS requested Ariana! The best and fastest waitress we ever had. She had a disagreement with staff and left. It s a 3 ring circus now trying to make up for her excellent service. I mostly order the Salmon tacos. Parking: Can park in garage rain or Hot Tx. Sun and out of weather.

If you re looking for an elegant lunch, the Mariposa has a lot to offer. The popovers with strawberry compound butter are incredibly pleasant and the consommé serves as a perfect amuse-bouche. The menu revamps classic lunch cuisine for a high-end experience

Having had soufflés in various other places before, the iconic Mandarin Orange Soufflé here was quite different from what I was expecting but still very good. Service is top notch too. When the staff realized that they only made one plate of the lemon butter crab pasta when our party had order two plates, the staff quickly make things right.

Best restaurants love to go hear and have a girls day yes the best Parking: No, I really don t like parking in the garage but I can I do not have any kids. actually I m not in a wheelchair. Don t have any dietary restrictions. I like everything on the menu not a vegetarian or anything. .. lamb, goat, anything fish, whatever how much of a silly question but yes, I love eating here Nice atmosphere yes and I m a foodie ..

I was so amazed by their staff. our waitress was amazing. you cant go wrong with the food so fresh and delicious. I loved chicken broth which they serve it in the cup so cute and tasty. I really enjoyed environment. I will stop by again. Thank you for the best service and food

Our first time at this Neiman s restaurant but certainly not our last. A very bright welcoming restaurant with superior service and delicious entrees, salads, and desserts. Oh and awesome iced tea. Looking forward to our next visit!

Wow! This was such a special lunch!I wanted to take mother for a grilled pemiento cheese and tomato soup. We normally go to North Park but this place is the bomb. I usually have to wait for a table and fight for a server, but not here. Our amazing waitress, Arriana, was perfection! The grilled cheeses and soups were fabulous and Arriana convinced us to try the chocolate cream pie, which was to for for! We will definitely be making this out new go to lunch and dessert stop!

I hosted a baby shower for my daughter there today. From the delicious menu and attention to detail of executive chef Rob Olvera, to the impeccable service of wait staff Reed and Lisa, it was a perfect location for an event of the size and occasion of our needs. I cannot overstate how highly I recommend this venue!

We always come after the fashion of my daughter. We ve been for an hour waiting for our food. Obviously the manager does not have under control. We sat before our neighbors and they got serve first. And then the manager says it should be soon came back with 2 out of 5 plates. If you guys think that this is going to be quick forget it.
