Went here for my birthday and the waitress didn t want to be there. Her rude and unhappy customer service really put a damper on my birthday celebration with family. I will NEVER COME BACK to this restaurant!!! I served while in college and know it s a job but never did make my guests feel unwanted. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. AVOID.

I dont know who else is like me out there, but I judge a tex-mex restaurant on the atmosphere (friendly vibe here), the service (excellent!), and yes, the food, but mainly on one food item: THE QUESO. The queso here is phenomenal from its rich, zesty flavor to its consistency (thick and gooey). Next time Ill try their hatch chili queso (white queso I believe), as Im told thats amazing too. The enchiladas and chips and salsa are wonderful as well, but if youre a queso person, for sure this is your new spot!

I ve gone to every Mexican restaurant in Burleson, and Fresco s is EASILY the best. I ve been to Fresco s 20+ times and our experience is always great. Our favorite dish is the steak fiesta tacos and churros They also have a small, very affordable venue spot in the back that we ve used two or three times My only complaint is they don t serve the hatch chile queso yearly round

Great place to hang out. The city has concerts close by on weekends when its nice. I ate at the bar because it was busy didnt have to wait long either for food. Kinda pricy but what isnt now. Kid-friendliness: Just pleasant place. Not wild.

We love all food from this restaurant! It is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant. We live in Weatherford but travel to Burleson for their food and drinks. Natalie, in the bar always makes us feel like we are her only customers even when she is slammed!

Havent eaten there in a while,the menu had changed and I just went with the beef enchiladas it was good but theyve been better. My wife had the beef and chicken fajitas and she said they good but if you want guacamole you have to order it as an extra. Our server was top notch. Ill eat there again but I wish it was the way it used to be,!

Just left there, I had the chicken enchilada chicken tasted like it came out of a bag . The waitress was too busy talking to her coworkers while I was there . Halfway threw my meal, I needed a refill. I just finished my food without any drink . I was just about to walk up and just pay she finally shows up to give me my ticket. I watched her run the car, then turned around and started talking , so after 10 + minutes and the second guy she started talking to, I got up and went to get my card so I could leave . The worst I have been in a long time will not be going back .

The food and severs where amazing.. BUT when I first walked in I was greeted by the rudest host EVER! I asked to sit in the booth near the window and she proceeded to roll her eyes at me and tell me it was dirty. She looked hispanic and had brown hair. Luckily the other host told me she would go ahead and clean the table to get me seated.

Terrible service for okay texmex. Wasnt even busy, bar had an 8-top and 2 two-tops, dining area sat 1 3-top while I was waiting. Saw like 6 people working those few tables. Parking: 3 spots for pick up, of course they were full and I was the ONLY to go order to be picked up. (Staging area is behind the pickup station.) Old town burleson, so parking is always suspect.

Amazing Tex Mex. Excellent margaritas and swirls. Our bartender brought out a meat sampler as well as all of theirs salsas for us to try since it was our first time. All of them were delicious. The chicken fajitas were moist and tender. Get the table side guacamole. It s large enough to share and so tasty. The queso was excellent. Definitely going back!

Good stuff. Salsa, there are 4 flavors, just ask. The table salsa was pretty flavorfull. Not spicy. Then we moved up a level. It was spicer but not much flavor. Then on to the hottest, not killer but hot. Habanero flavor was very good. Food. Cheese enchiladas. One with queso and one with taco sause. Then with brisket and Pico on top. Pico was very good and the brisket was good and tendor. Enchiladas were both really good. Came the rice and beans. Quesadilla with it all. Brisket, cheese, pico, corn and beans. Wow thing was pretty big and tasty. I would recommend and will be back.

We try to eat vegan/plant based and I cannot have pork or canola. Ashley (manager) and Brooke were AMAZING! The food was very fresh, lots of veggies. The only negative was that the rice was not vegeterian/vegan (that would be an EASY change) but I wont let that take away from 5 stars because of how awesome they were on making sure I didnt get sick and helping us find what we can eat. Will definitely go back. Vegetarian options: They offer a couple of vegetarian options and are happy to work with you!

Deceptive pickup order times. First confirmation said 20 minutes, then received another with over an hour pickup time past the initial time given. When calling, the restaurant could not cancel my order because it was sent to Door Dash, but I ordered from their website. When checking Door Dash- no confirmation in the app. Had to call Door Dash to cancel. Please update your available for pickup times to reflect properly. Now I have to wait for my money to be refunded 5-7 business days due to the deceptive times. I understand restaurants get busy, but I also should be able to trust the available times for pickup to not be an additional hour past the first time provided.

Good Tex-Mex. We often meet friends and family here. Some favorites are the #1 quesadilla and the tortilla soup, and we like the queso. Enchiladas are very good, and fajitas as well. The restaurant has a lot of open space with lots of big windows - its a nice setting. Very good service. Update: We had a family lunch here and they handled our group of 11 well. Our entrees all came out together and everyone was happy with what they ordered.

I was very disappointed in this place. I took my fiancée and her kids for her birthday and we got the about 10 minutes before closing and that was how we were greeted. The kitchen is closing in 10 minutes. That is also the first thing out of our servers mouth. I was in restaurant management for many years and know that you do not greet a table or a family of eight with how long the kitchen will be open. I ordered two bowls of queso with ground beef and it came out luke warm at best. They could of at least put it in the microwave. The food was mediocre. No garnish and we felt rushed. The top shelf margarita was awful to say the least. Sadly I chose this place over where they had suggested and regret doing so. Horrible birthday dinner with the kids. If you have a special event I would not take a chance on this place. What a disappointment. This used to be a nice place to take the family and you would think on a Friday night they would have their A-team on board. We were the only table in the place and the manager couldnt even find the time to see how we were doing. Again major disappointment to what used to be a great restaurant with good food and drinks.

Our favorite place to eat in Burleson. Best Margaritas (and I m an expert) and the steak is amazing, I get The Mexican filet. It comes with a chipotle butter sauce that melts in your mouth. Also don t forget their white cheddar mashed potatoes, they go with any dish on the menu in my opinion.

This was the second time I have been here and I was not impressed. I ordered a drink and a steak caesar salad (light supper) for $35 not including the tip and the food was good but the service was almost non existent. Pre-pandemic, Frescos was my favorite Mexican food restaurant. Post-pandemic, it is just so-so. Today, the food was good, the grilled chicken breast was a bit dry, but still edible, but definitely not up to par for the price. Staff was attentive. Family atmosphere was screaming kid noisy, but expected.

The lack of customer service and common courtesy at this establishment is absolutely astonishing. Upon arrival, approximately 10min before opening my family which included an infant and 2 children under 4 parked upfront in an open space. As well as another family. Soon after, 2 employees(manager & server) came out and placed removable to go parking only signs infront of our parked vehicles....not a huge deal even though there were still open spots open in front of the establishment. Whats ridiculous to me is that the two women who placed the signs turned around after placing them, looked directly back at us and the family parked next to us and started laughing as if they were just so elated to have provided these two familys with such an inconvenience. Real classy frescos of burleson... reminds me of why I stopped coming here 10yrs ago.

We love this place. Its our favorite tex mex place in Burleson and surrounding cities. Its nothing fancy - the menu is a front and back single page, laminated menu, but the food and service are always exceptional. Its usually packed and theres good reason for that. Parking: Parking is usually pretty packed, but you can find somewhere in the next lot over and hoof it.

I had such a great experience here! Ordered pick up, went in and the lady at the pick up counter was great! She double checked everything in the bag without even being asked to and made sure everything was there before I walked out the door. Got home and man....that was sooo good! Fresh everything. You can tell. That queso and salsa was amazing and the fresh tortillas! And I loved my sour cream and chicken enchiladas. 10/10 all the way around! Will definitely be a regular at this place!

We did the build your own Tex mex. Two tacos, two enchiladas with beans and rice. We also did a side of street corn. The beef taco was very dry and mostly no real taste. Chicken taco was better but I ve had better. The chicken enchilada was the best out of the whole thing, and please stay away from the guacamole enchilada, it really shouldn t be on the menu. Street corn was good. Overall, I ve had better for cheaper at other spots around Texas. Service is good.

The big fajitas platter fed my family of four. Really good steak, and chicken, and the bacon wrapped shrimp are perfect but the ribs were a bit fatty. We d definitely order again. There was a kitchen hiccup and they lost our order- BUT they quickly corrected and didn t charge us for our meal. Manager did a great job making things rights. Margaritas are outstanding and stout. Only 1 drink if you didn t bring a designated driver. Music is too loud- makes it hard to hear and have a conversation without shouting.

Our waitress was awesome! Funny and on top of it! Good was delicious! I highly recommend the tableside guacamole! The salsas are delicious! Fajita were yummy! And the Margaritas!!!!!

Dined there for 1st time on Mothers Day. Wait was not long at all. Excellent service provided to us and our family. Food was delicious, drinks were excellent and prices were extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend this establishment to everyone. We live in Weatherford and traveled to Burleson location. Would definitely return again.

So I grew up with Gringos, in Pearland & Texas City, so my cantina expectations are extremely high. Parking at this place is a bit of a bear, with a big truck (which I drive - F350), and handicapped slots are sparse (wife has internal prosthetic leg). So she was dropped with a friend, at the front doors & we made our way over 2 blocks to a spot. Walked in to a proper cantina atmosphere & were greeted by an early 20-something waitress. She was run a bit ragged by the half dozen of us at our table, but was extremely attentive. Food came out quickly & was delicious. Fajitas were good - Wife had them & I had chicken smothered with cheese & onions that was phenomenal. Im very happy with our visit!

The flavors were really good on the chicken and steak for fajitas ! The ribs just ok can tell they baked. With hubby being a grill smoker of meats, just not our preference. Good surprise of the smoked flavor salsa. Our waitress really nice and attentive. Give it a try!

The food was good. They were not busy at all but took 15 minutes to be sat. We had 7 and they said were setting up the table but the table sat 8 so nothing to set up. Had to carry empty glasses to get own refills. None of our empty plates were cleared. Had to to go find our server to ask for the check. She was up talking with the hostess. Would have understood if she had been busy but just not interested in taking care of table.

It was a 15 minute wait on a Friday night going into a holiday very acceptable. The food was delicious from the tableside guacamole all the way to the Flan for dessert, including specialty drinks plus a Virgin drink. Chicken and Beef enchiladas were delicious.

Will not visit again! My family went in today to grab some lunch and they took an hour to bring our food! The table next to us mentioned their food was cold and they also took over an hour to get their food. Once we received our food my toddler kept complaining the food was cold. Everyone in my family got cold food the only thing warm was the plates! The server said she will get a manager to our table because there was several tables having the same issue with cold food. All the manager would do is apologize but we never got hot food. After an hour and a half of waiting we decided to go next door for a hot meal instead.

We came her for date night and had the best time! Our server, Ashley, was sweet, fun, and on top of her game. The margaritas were great and the food was delicious. Emilee came by our table to check on us and she was and absolute joy to chat with. Between these two lovely ladies and the great food, we definitely had the best date night!!
