My wife and I drove about 30 minutes to visit this joint. We walked and the first thing you realize is how great the staff is. Seems like its not a job, its a passion of theirs. The menu is incredible in what they offer. Equally important is the food was out of this world GREAT! We lived in Austin and this place beats burger places there, hands down! Even their selection of fries will blow you away. Remember to grab plenty of napkins and take the time to enjoy what I feel is the best burger joint in the Brazos Valley!

Superman Burger was excellent. Grilled chicken sandwich was excellent. We went around 1pm, to try and avoid a crowd/wait... Sadly our two burgers too almost an hour to get. The food was good... But, not and hour wait for $35 in burgers good... :(

I wanted to like this place. Ive been told its one of the best places in B/CS area. Im a bit of a burger fanatic, and believe a burger should be judged by its simplest form, first and foremost. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, all condiments on the side as to not distract from the meats and cheeses. What I found was that the meats and cheeses were covered in an excessive amount of cracked pepper. There was so much that its all I could taste. Even when I tried placing condiments and toppings on it in an attempt to dilute the amount of pepper, it was not enough. Im talking about the amount of pepper that you can still taste half an hour after the meal. No matter what I tried I could not enjoy a single bite of the burger. Its really a shame as the meats texture, portion size, and buns were really good, but the seasoning of the patty was all I could focus on. Perhaps theres other burgers on the menu Id enjoy more. Their chilli and fries tasted good, and they had great locally made sodas, cheap homemade desserts as well. Staff is very friendly, informative, and full of spirit. Still, they are very popular, it is completely possible the burger was a mistake, but it is hard to muster the motivation to go back to confirm this.

Drove past this place at least 100 times and never stopped. I found the time to do so, and I do not regret it. For my first time here, I decided to try the HOT MESS and WOW. It was the best damn burger Ive had thus far if you are ever in the area, and of course, if youre hungry, stop here and try them out. The atmosphere and the staff are top-notch.

Very disappointed, our food was good, however, we had taken my sister in law and her husband and grandkids. They had been waiting for almost 30 minutes and when my sister in law went tos ask for her order, they had lost her order. Unfortunately, the customer service was not good, due to the fact, that they never asked to correct the problem. Her money was returned.

This place really lives up to its name. Those burgers are greasy!! But they are super good. I got the Superman, and my wife got the garlic burger. Both were delicious, top tier burgers. We also tried one of their cheesecake brownies, and that was a pleasant surprise! One of the best brownies I ve ever had personally. Absolutely worth the drive from College Station, every Aggie needs to stop by this place.

Good bacon cheese burger and patty melt. Fries too! I pass by from time to time. Parking lot is always full. Decided to drive 30 minutes from home and try them out. Parking lot was packed. I wanted to write a good review, until they told me I was lying about how far I came to get the burger. Trying to be nice and go out of my way (over an hour out of my way) to get my husband a good burger while he is working out of town. I ordered the meals to go. Get to the job site, another 30 minutes away, and my husbands burger is wrong. So I call to ask if I can get a refund and he tells me they are old fashioned, all they can do is write my name down for next time I come in. Well I dont live here so I dont expect to go back there any time soon. I asked if he could just let his employees know to pay attention more, and he said well everyone makes mistakes. Yes, I get that, but if youre willing to allow your employees to make mistakes and brush it off, then you should be able to refund customers for those mistakes. I was willing to just leave it and lose my little bit of money, UNTIL he proceeds to tell me theres no way I drove that far for their food, obviously I was in town, so I could stop back by...it literally says on your sign that you are on Texas bucket list. So people all over Texas should know about you, right? Please dont tell me I didnt drive that far, youre basically saying Im lying and I dont appreciate that.

Best dang breakfast burger Ive ever tasted!!! The owner was very kind and welcoming and I loved her upbeat spirit and willingness to accommodate me as much as possible. It was the perfect place 5 minuted from Lake Bryan to go grab breakfast after a long night of camping. Everyone working there was courteous and helpful. I returned later for lunch with my girlfriend and ordered the habeñero burger. She ordered a bacon ranch burger and they did not disappoint! You have to give this place a try!

Good old fashioned burger joint. You know youre in a good place when you pull in at lunch at a random spot in the country and see a full parking lot, with firefighters and deputies in the mix. If theyre busy it can take a bit to get food, but thats to be expected as its a small place. Atmosphere is a bit noisy and frenetic with kids running around, but I guess thats all part of it. Overall, recommend and would definitely go back. I can vouch that the bacon cheeseburger is top notch. They have Boots Soda at the fountain, always like their drinks. If it isnt obvious, if you are vegetarian/vegan- probably want to go someplace else. :)

The best burger place I have ever experienced. I recently had wisdom tooth issues and couldnt eat for the whole month of December and I knew that my first meal once I could eat again would be this place. I live about an hour away from this place, and I made a whole trip just for their burgers. This place is also like exactly halfway between my place and my parents place, so pretty much every time I visit them, I stop to get burgers for everybody because the whole family loves them. Not only is the food delicious, but every time I come in everybody who works there is incredibly nice, and not ONCE has any part of my order been incorrect. Absolute PERFECT service at this place! Yes, Texas bucket list brought me here. If youre in the area, you wont be disappointed.Burgers were huge and delicious. Buns were toasted. Garlic fries are a must!

This may be hands-down the best burger Ive ever eaten. The folks here are some of the best, very friendly and helpful. If you have to wait a little while to get your food, just know that nothing _this_ good is done quickly!

The burgers are always delicious and the staff is so kind. I love the down home vibe you get while visiting! Won t go anywhere else for a cheeseburger and it is well worth the 20 min drive from south college station!

Took a ride out to this spot today and it did not disappoint. Great burger and friendly staff, with an inviting atmosphere. They also have a wide variety of hamburgers and fries, only down side to me was no avacado but thats alright maybe they will have them next time, and oh yes I will be going back.
