Best burger place. The management does review customer feedback and make improvements accordingly. The servers at this location are attentive and friendly. Order is always ready prior to pick up time so don t have to wait for your order. Burgers are delicious.

Food was horrible as the small patty was like a hockey puck when I ordered medium. The cups had pink lipstick stains and no one seemed to care. No manager in sight. I can see why this place was nearly empty. I hated that they asked for a tip when the order was placed, as I really dont think the food or service was worth the huge lunch bill and wish I had not tipped anything. See photos. Avoid

Last minute stop after work. Didn t get to experience the atmosphere during busy shift but I love the setup. During placing my order, it was a breeze due to the gentleman knowledge of the menu & suggestions as I tried to make my mind up. I ordered the Cadillac Wagyu with a sunny side up egg along with the Kale salad(less than $30). It was so good I ate the burger in one sitting with my eyes closed. Freshly prepared, & on point. I tried the dipping sauces to experiment, but you don t need it.

The person who took my order was very nice. My order then came out wrong. The first time they tried to fix it they just scraped the item off. I asked them to replace anything it touched. So they told me I would have to wait 10 minutes for a new burger patty. I saw them serve two other tables of 4 that came in way after me (which indicates other burgers were on the grill and the other tables wouldn t have had to wait but a min or two) meanwhile waiting a spider ran across the table and I had to murder it. 15 mins later they brought out the burger and all the toppings were cold and congealed, the egg cracked and dried to the platter. The effort was absolutely garbage. No apology. No validation every thing was okay from a manager. Avoid. It was gross.

Excellent food, excellent staff, a Texas business. I always have to order to-go since Im usually on my way back from work (40 mile one-way trek), but the food is always ready when I arrive and the staff is really courteous. I sincerely hope you make the Okie-Dokie Smash a regular option! Vegetarian options: Im not a vegetarian, but you can turn any of their burgers into a salad and use their bean patty as a substitute. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options and vegetarian options as well. Parking: Theres 2 parking spaces directly in front of the building for non-disabled and really should be fore to-go orders but people are people. Next closest parking is about 100ft out from the door. Not necessarily bad, but closer parking is just preferred for younger kid safety. Kid-friendliness: I mean everyone was nice and it didnt feel like somewhere I wouldnt want to take my kid - like an art gallery or starbucks. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres no curb and the doors can be opened wide for WC entry.

Ordered the chicken burger. Very tasty but the burger was so juicy it turned the bottom bin into a soggy mess. Either extract some of the juice or toast the bin more and use a heartier bun. Single order of fries were ok. They had cooled down when I got them. Frosted mugs for the beer were excellent.

Great choices, specialty fries and burgers were stupendous. Buffalo burger was excellent, juicy and flavor packed. Sweet potato fries cooked done not over done. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking but didnt see door opener, it would have helped as the door is heavy and opened out.

Best burger I have had in a long time! Parmesan fries are a must! The only downside was the mixed drinks, they were too strong (which I can appreciate) but were not tasty at all, just tasted like plain alcohol. Nice people, and the quality of the food is worth the price point.

It was a little bit of a shock after they took over from Grub, but they have adjusted their Burger menu and the service is great. The burgers are always fresh and done to perfection. Added bonus is a very nice selection of beers on tap and a quaint bar if you just want a bite and watch sports.

I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman who assisted us. He was very through and knowledgeable. It was our first time there. Was here after church on Sunday and it was hoppin. Brussel sprouts were deconstructed, just crispy, very flavorful leaves. Wasnt shure I would like them, but much to my surprise, they were REALLY good. Only place I have ever seen an Ahi Tuna burger on the menu. My friend gobbled it down. Said it was perfectly seared and would DEFINITELY be back for more. I also noticed bison on the menu. They are in control of their proteins. My husband ordered the buffalo bill burger no pink and sweet potato honey sage fries. My husband s burger was super pink. He couldn t even eat it. My fries were super hard and cold. Came in for lunch. I got a double bacon jam burger which was quite good. Boss let me share his fries with him and they were really good as well. Sodas were ok, syurp was a little on light side but ok. Overall everything was great. I did not appreciate the cashless environment. When I realized there were no trash cans and we were forced to leave our table dirty I was slightly disgusted. I am a adult, I dont need to tip someone to take out my trash. Visited at the end of the day. There was one more guy dining at the bar. Ordered a bison burger meal and chose to sit outside. The tip is charged when you order, and based on my great past experiences at other hopdoddy locations, I added 18%. The burger was served completely cold, in spite of not being busy at all. Had to ask for napkins. With every bite, I was thinking that when you order an almost $40 burger meal, it should at least be better than McDonalds, In&Out, or Whattaburger...as I somehow finished the meal, I turn around and Hayden is walking towards me with 2 to go boxes for the truffle fries which were yummy. He went and got me some dips, and that made me forget that the burger was totally cold as if it had been waiting on the shelf after being made for a long while. So I asked him if his manager was still here and if she could come outside and talk to me. I wanted to tell her how Hayden saved the day with his excellent customer service. I waited for more than 10 minutes and then walked in, was greeted by the manager, Ms. Savanah who opened the door and seemed like she realized that she either forgot to or choose not to come and talk as I asked for a bag to go and told her she can read what I had to say on Google. No apologies or even a concern shown. When managers dont care, it has a trickle-down effect, and that is why the entire experience was cold, not just the burger. Its still the hospitality industry, aint it?

I am very disappointed about the 10 burgers I ordered last night 4/5/2024. It was over cooked badly, the burger was so dry and hard to eat, because of over cooked of well down burger. I ordered the same burgers 4 or 5 weeks ago, I ordered little pink last time. but it was very raw in the center. It becomes over cooked this time. I love to eat Hopdoddy for over 15 years, I have been recommend this place to all my friends. I think that I should let all my friends to know how bad it is now. Atmosphere is pretty similar to when it was called grub burger bar. The service was friendly and quick. The bathrooms clean. Ordered the Cadillac and Double Bacon Jam burgers. The server told us the tip that Cadillac is the bigger burger even though the double bacon has two patties, it is smaller. Also got a large fry. The fry was large enough to share with 2+ people and were crispy and delicious. The burgers were juicy and did the trick but nothing made them stand out as a close to $20 burger. Also got a salted Carmel shake and a mini Oreo shake. Love that they have mini sizes (10oz) for a little fix of sweet without getting too full. Oreo was delicious, salted caramel was okay but probably personal preference. I am not a huge fan of caramel. Vegetarian options: Ahí tuna burger

Overall we like the burgers here - unique options, always cooked correctly. Really like the flavor options for fries, brussel sprouts. A liitle on the pricey side for the specialty burgers considering the size, but who isnt cutting back these days to deal with inflation. Quality has always been great. My review from 5 years ago was for Grub, which was an awesome establishment! I have had Hopdoddy in Addison once, so hearing that Grub went away was sad to hear. However, hearing Hopdoddy come in made me feel a bit better as theyre one of the better burger franchises. Same exact lay out, they didnt change much from when I visited years ago. Huge double doors, bar is in the middle, and you go right when you enter to go to their counter order area. Burgers are great and the drinks were good and strong! The shake was delicious too, I really liked the fact they had a mini size since the burgers can be so filling. Patty melt was so good and my wife loved her frozen drink!

Being hungry, I decided to go for the double bacon jam burger, after reading the option to go grass fed instead for an extra $2 I figured why not? Only problem was when I got the burger it came out as a small, single, grass fed patty. The flavor was great as usual, but for $20 for just a burger and a drink it left me quite unsatisfied. One of the food runners came by to ask how my burger was and I told him about the situation, to which he said it should be a double let me check with the manager to see what to do. After a couple minutes, he comes back to inform me that the manager said oh yeah, it s a grass fed it should just be one patty . SoI paid extra for half the food?? I would definitely advise against ordering grass fed if you re ordering a double burger, because you ll get half the burger you were supposed to get for an extra two dollars? Make this make sense .

Havent had this in a while so we decided to try out their new location. They changed up their menu! I was in the mood for a classic burger nothing fancy just straight up goodness and they delivered! The bun was a tad on the dry side but it was a delish burger complimented with some sweet potato fries which were done to perfection! My husband ordered from the secret menu we will definitely be coming back!

I like trying new burger places and was in the area so I wanted to see what the buzz is all about. This was formerly the Grub Burger Bar location and inside still looks exactly the same. The food was ok but not worth nearly what it costs. I know prices have risen everywhere but $20 for a single patty burger, fries and a fountain drink is just too much! For that price, Sky Rocket Burger is much better. I think Ill just stick to Culvers from now on.

This was my first time visiting the Hopdoddy Burger Bar. I was craving a smashburger with grilled onions but the closest restaurant I knew served this dish was a bit far away. I decided to try a new place and I am so glad I did. Not only was the Smashburger delicious but the Hot Honey Sage Fries were too. My friend had the Cadillac Burger and said it was great too. And by the way, the fries are shareable size which was perfect for two.

Such a delicious burger and fries place! We had the Buffalo Bill and Classic burgers with truffle fries and sweet potato fries. Our kids had the kids meals and mini shakes. The KM were pricey at $11 each, but so was all the other food. Ha. Well worth it though. We will be coming back. Just be ready to drop over $90 (with tip) for a family. PS if you like bison, the meat here is superb and worth trying. Parking: Plenty of spaces. Kid-friendliness: Kids meal with option for mini shake.

Turkey burger was delicious. Chicken tenders need different batter and more seasonings I would not order again. U can get better fries at the dollar store frozen department. Fries were terrible they r 2 thin bland and unseasoned. UPDATE: I went back today 2 get another 1 of these delicious turkey burgers and she said we dont have turkey burgers right now. What burger restaurant actually runs out of burger patties especially during the holiday season complete nonsense.

In 2016, I visited the Hopdoddy on Preston and Loop 12 in Dallas. I really liked it but Dallas is a long drive so that was my first and last visit. I was so glad to see a restaurant open close to home in Plano. My go-to favorite is the Magic Shroom Burger with goat cheese and basil pesto. I think it would be fun to go for happy hour, called Hoppy Hour or something like that, where beers are $5, according to sign in the restaurant. Speaking of beer, the restaurant features a good selection of national brands as well as local craft beers. Update: We visited last Saturday in the early evening. Lots of customers. We ordered the Buffalo Bill, Magic Shroom, and Continental Club burgers. The Buffalo Bill and Magic Shroom were the absolute best. The Magic Shroom has mushrooms (obviously), goat cheese, and a basil pesto. Exceptionally delicious.

New non English speaking kitchen cooks messed up our order twice last night. Being vegans we realized one of the burgers had real meat, they replaced it after we took a bite, then when they brought the replacement it had jalapeños which we specifically said we didnt want. Can you imagine ordering via delivery service and realizing your vegan order is wrong... not ordering any more for a while until language barriers in the kitchen are resolved Vegetarian options: You cant be assured that you will be served vegan patties, serious language barriers in the kitchen

Super friendly service and great food! We got the parm truffle fries and loved them! Comes with a truffle sauce that was delicious! They had a good variety of burgers. The shakes were the perfect end to our meal. Im not big on chocolate, but really enjoyed the Nutella pretzel shake! The classic Strawberry was good as well! Definitely a warm friendly atmosphere.
