This is a great place to visit. There are fun interactive exhibits. We had fun learning about the oil industry history of the Permian basin, examining minerals, viewing beautiful paintings, and experiencing the race car history of the Chaparral. We spent a few hours exploring but could have spend much longer.

Visiting the Center and talking to Ms. Daisy is always a true pleasure. She is very warm and welcomes everyone. Her knowledge of the area and Texas is brilliant. If she doesn t have the answer to your question, she will find out and let you know. Ms. Daisy should be called Ms. Midland. We love her!

Terrific place to stop and get maps and knowledge of the area. The staff was VERY helpful in advising areas to visit as well as a brief history and description of the building and what it represents. Well lit structure with beautiful views from the many windows and upper glass structure. Sits next to the Permian Basin Oil Museum so it is very convenient.
