Foods amazing it s always fresh and the right temperature, but I seriously don t know the employees problems they all look like they wanna walk out. I ve had multiple occasions where my water has been empty for more then 40+ minutes which to me seems like common sense to refill, not to mention every employee I ve had take care of me has given me attitude they treat me like I m an idiot I had a young lady go up to my table and say what do you want very rudely then proceeded to literally just stare at us i personally was a little shocked on her tone. i don t get their problems but it s seriously rude and not a good look for this location especially for the fact you spend a good amount of money to eat there. Also they like to pick and choose when they charge ranch which is a $1, not expensive but still.

I recently ordered the spicy chicken wings from bb.q Chicken, and they were absolutely delicious! The spice was just right not too overpowering but enough to give them a nice kick. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who enjoys spicy food. Ill be ordering from bb.q Chicken again soon!

My boyfriend and I visited this location today to pick up some to-go Korean fried chicken from one of our favorite spots. We often go to the Carrollton location by H-Mart. As soon as we walked in, I noticed a strong smell of cleaning products. Since it was late and they were likely closing up, this wasn t a major issue for us. However, the service was disappointing. Ellie T, listed on the receipt as the server/cashier, was far from welcoming. When I asked her to repeat something, she did so with noticeable irritation. The attitude continued when our to-go order was ready she handed the bag to my partner unpleasantly as if she just wanted us to leave and not have to deal with us. While I ll stick with the Carrollton location for future visits, this experience has made me hesitant to return to this one. On the plus side, the wings were as good as ever!

If i could leave a negative star, i would! I never leave reviews, but in this case, i felt obligated. My husband and I walked in at 8:30pm, they close at 10pm. There was only 1 other customer in the resturant. We sat at a 2 table booth as the 1 table booth was dirty and had soda spilt all under the table. The first lady told us that booth we sat at was only allowed for large parties, we told her the 1 table booth was dirty. Then the second lady approached us to tell us the same the thing, we then told her we would gladly move but the other booth table was dirty. To which she threw/slammed our plates and cups of water and sighed sit wherever as she stormed off. I must point out, there was another 2 table booth available and every other table in the resturant too. It was close to closing time and we would not sit there in peak time. We then got up and walked out and said were good and they didnt even say anything but roll their eyes. But their behavior was honestly rude, and disgusting. The service is shocking and we will never set foot in that place again!

they charge you 120% if you were to order their food through a delivery service/app. why does the customer need to be impacted by their wanting to utilize a delivery service. is the food amount any more or the quality any better if you were to pick up vs get the food delivered? so annoying. only cares about money and disregards customers satisfaction.

I dont usually write reviews but I had to- Be warned that the owner/cook is very rude and will yell at you if you complain. One of our order was just plain boneless chicken for our kids- which they had at this and another location before. Kids complained that it tasted weird and was nasty tasting. I tried and had to spit it right out. We informed the waitress the chicken used was bad. She called out owner/cook- old korean man and he was not happy as he came towards us. We explained to him the taste and texture was off but he refused to listen and pretty much told us there is no flavor in the plain chicken unlike the other things we ordered. He took off with our dish n came back with a piece of chicken in his hands yelling at us that plain chicken is my best seller and if you dont like it its a you problem! Then took off again leaving us shocked! We didnt ask for a refund, we just wanted it fixed. Our kids left hungry eating only fries for lunch! They removed the charge without us asking but never again will I step foot at this location again. Such a bad experience for something that could have been easily fixed. We went there 2 Sundays in a row. First time for lunch with 2 older women who werent very encouraging. They were efficient but not very Welcoming. We had the Golden Original Chicken & it was delicious, fresh & succulent. We went back the next Sunday & there were 2 Youngsters working. The young lady was very friendly & kindly explained to me the Korean dishes as I had never eaten Korean food before. We took our friends with us as we had enjoyed the chicken so much. They loved it. We had Golden, Original again & Secret sauce. I absolutely love the Golden,Original. If you are looking for freshly cooked, succulent fried chicken this is the place. The staff was welcoming and polite during the brief interaction when picking up. The order was ready by the estimated time. Bold flavors in their sauces and seasonings. The honey garlic and their special sauce were on the sweet side and had a notable garlic flavor, which I like. The crust was very crispy with the white meat pieces having a thicker crust. For the dark meats, they were fairly juicy but o have had juicer Korean Fried Chicken. The white meat pieces were on the drier side and combined with the thick crust, it was more like a chicken nugget candy.

I used to go this place with my family. We all loved all the chickens there. But I am so sad for the fact that all the chickens started getting spicier and spicier. So, I recently got sick from the spicy and rose bokke and my GF did too. I felt that since we didnt eat most of it after getting sick from it - I should take it back when possible in return for my money back, because Im not wasting money on food that made me sick. I arrived and told him the issue. He proceeds to tell me that I sold over 6,000 wings and nobody told me they had food poison and I told him well what if they dont know it was this place if they dined at multiple places prior that day. However, we had only eaten this place all day. He then was rude and threw the receipt and food away aggressively after telling me that he couldnt give me back my money. I was more upset that he tried to tell me - a Chef, that I didnt get food poison from his food rather than having better customer service. His tone and body language was extremely condescending and rude and I used to go there often, but Im going to spread the word to everyone and make sure this location gets shut down. Dont gaslight your customers when theyre coming to you about a serious problem they experienced after consuming your product. He also told me theres no way I got food poison bc it takes 4 hours to get. Hes a very uneducated man, because it actually starts anywhere between 30 minutes to weeks to get. He gaslit me, refused to refund me back money for my food, and then wrote a $30 credit on a sticky note and stuck it behind the register. I hope nobody else has that experience. This business isnt going to succeed with someone like him running it.

Please someone explain to me why Korean ladies always give their customers an attitude when they order something small ( 1 medium entree). I love this place! We go here about twice a month and are never unhappy with our decision. The chicken is always super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We lived pretty far from this place and order a to go order to pick up. They handed us half of the order. When I got back home and called back they unapologetically called me and asked me to drive back again. Need to do better next time at customer service next time. Update: 06.4.23 Cold hard rice and was told 15 min wait after they took the hard rice back. Left us with chicken wings to eat and no other side was offered. It was either eat cold rice or wait for new rice and eat it with cold chicken. Man only offered to better service next time and this time he wanted to get very loud and angry! Been to many bb.q joints all over. Went last night (Wed 3/15/23) and it was the worst customer service I ve had in a long time. The lady helping us made us feel like we were inconveniencing her, and was extremely rude. On top of that, I was surprised to see the automatic 18% gratuity for large parties. We had 3 young kids and 3 adults; always thought it was automatic for parties of 8 and larger. Makes sense why she could be as bad as she was; she s getting tipped either way. Her loss though, as we usually tip 25% or more for decent service. I gave 2 stars because the chicken was delicious as always; otherwise it would ve been 1 star. Next time, we ll bypass this location and go to one of the other Plano locations.

If you want to have an explosion of flavor on your palate and try a delicious Korean fried chicken, I recommend this place. It is without lying the best fried chicken I have ever tasted, the texture, the flavor, the crunchy and juicy, it is an indescribable combination in your mouth. Personally, I think this headquarters is the best, I think there are only 3 in all of Dallas, of the 3 I prefer this one. Be careful, I already tried the others and they taste just as delicious. Personally, bb.q Chicken has the best Korean Fried Chicken, whichever one you order you will be hooked. I love the Boneless Secret Sauce and the Gangnam Syle Wings. You cant miss them. Oh, order everything at once, because the cooking times range between 25 to 35 minutes, play to combine with some chips, some cheese fingers or rice. I order the cheese fingers, I love them. Enjoy

bb.q is consistently one of our favorites. We started going to BonChon a few years ago and loved it. Then a coworker turned me on to bb.q. Easily catapulted to our favorite Korean fried chicken. Our favorite flavors are honey garlic ale soy garlic, although we ve had the Galbi and Gangnam flavors and they re both great. My wife was not a big fan of wings and she loves this place. And the wings are impossibly crispy and stay that way even when we order delivery and save them for dinner after we get our baby down for the night. Highly recommend bb.q!

Ive been disappointed with other bbq chicken locations, but i believed this preston location was the best until today. It wasnt my first time ordering food from here, and other days were excellent. However, when i picked up the chicken today, soygarlic boneless chicken, it was too firm like a stone. I used to work as chef previously and i know exactly what this texture means; overcooked. Most of restaurants tends to keep their misorder for a while. And when they receive the order, the same one kitchen mistakenly cooked, they usually try to reheat. I believe this case was try to reheat by putting it back to frying pot. That resulted the firm texture and it was even hard for me to pick the chicken with plastic fork they provided. I understand you were little busy when i came to pick up my order, but this is about integrity. Dont just throw away your integrity to save ingredients that costs only few dollars. People routinely go back to the restaurant where they have good memories about either food quality or service. You guys just gave up one of them, and its literally telling your customer not to come back. If you guys just want to assume that it is because of the time i traveled from restaurant to my home, i just want to let you know, i live in 6 miles radius. And i waited for your food, which means i was there before you have your chicken ready. Meanwhile, the secret spicy chicken was good. Anyways, i might not going to come back to your location for a while because of the disappointment i had today.

Favorites are the secret spicy and honey garlic. The flavors here are so much tastier and the chicken is so crunchy and well fried. They make the food as ordered so sometimes it might take a while. Order over the phone in advance if youre wanting take out otherwise the wait can take up to 20 minutes. Also I like this location way better than some of the others. Its well lit and new so it seems cleaner than other locations. Overall, a recommendation for some Korean fried chicken.

The best Korean fried chicken in Dallas. We got the galbi flavor chicken, half and half basket with the golden original and secret sauce; BB wing (spicy golden original) and they were all absolutely delicious. I love that that the chicken was very well seasoned to the core, every bite of it, crispy and juicy at the same time. I d say the star for me was the Rosé Tteokbokki. Savory rice and fish cakes in a creamy sauce. This is the best thing on their menu and I m definitely visiting again.

THE best fried chicken that I have tasted in and around the Frisco/Plano and may be the greater Dallas area! Legendary crispness of Korean fried chicken + insanely flavorful Asian sauces make this a must visit for fried chicken lovers. We tried the Ganjeong boneless which has a nice sweet spicy profile to it with all the saucy goodness. It wouldnt be too spicy even for the mild tongues. The second one we picked up for a mix of flavor + testing the offerings was the Spicy wings. This is like a gourmet version of the KFC spicy wings which was available at one point of time. It is far more nuanced in the flavor than that one and easily a profile that would excite those that like a spice hit! They serve each of the baskets with a small side of pickled sweet radish which I thought was delightful and Infact not just breaks the fried chicken monotony (if at all someone suffers it) but actually acts as a palate cleanser between bites! Since we were very hungry, on entry we had also ordered a portion of waffle fries and corn. The waffle fries were meaty yet crispy and the corn has the nice mayo-ish goodness to it! Overall a top choice for a refreshing take on fried chicken!!

I came in to eat for the first time and was asked if I was there for pick-up or dine-in. I said fine in and ordered. As I waited 2 tables of Asian groups were also sitting at tables. . . One group eating, the other just seemingly hanging out. When they finally brought me my order, I started to open the bag they brought it to me in. When I did, the Asian lady (with her mask on) told me I couldn t eat it there. That it was against the rules. When I asked why the others were still there and eating, they just said it was against the rules. Not sure, but I m pretty sure their rules meant a white guy couldn t eat in there. I used to love this chicken but on our LAST visit the flavor we loved had changed. ( not good) We took it back to get the regular instead since the recipe had changed. Management was VERY RUDE and pretty much called me stupid. I will never go here again or any of my black family and friends. With the money spent here we all deserve to be respected. There was too much to add here but if you have any problems at this establishment too bad for you. Especially if you are the wrong nationality.

Owner has a strange rule where he doesn t like to-go boxes on the tables. This means that you have no option to change your mind and eat in the establishment once you place an order to go. We originally said we were doing a to go order. Then we sat at a table to wait for our to go order. They literally could ve just said all tables are reserved for dine in . Instead the waitress asked if we wanted to dine in and since she asked we said okay and she set the table which was great. The food was good. Then as we were on our way out the manager yelled at us for changing our mind and deciding to dine in. Keep in mind there were only two other people in the place and it was set up like five guys. The food actually tasted really good but the manager there does not have good customer service skills. My experience with him really made us feel uncomfortable and we will not be coming back due to this. This is sad since we really enjoyed the food. The golden original was way spicier than expected, more so than the secret sauce, which was annoying because that s what we ordered for the kiddo. The soy garlic was great.
