Doctor Noel and Dr Bangs are great. The front office however does not keep track of calls properly. I e been charged for a no show 2 times. Once I cancelled same day. I understand that one but the other was flat tire where I was sitting on the side of the highway. 1 mile from the office. I called both times and theyre telling me there is nothing on file at all of me calling. Then decided to speak about my financials in front of everybody there in the office instead of taking me into a private room. Very unprofessional. Thats why I give the low star count.

My family is 3 generations involved with Doctors of Internal Medicine. My grandfather originally, my parents & myself. Obviously we genuinely appreciate & respect the medical services we receive here. I first met Dr. Bakhtari while bringing my grandfather here. Her office has grown in an amazing way since this, being over 2 decades ago. I and my parents now see Suzanne Marshall & her attentive caring nature is above and beyond. Nikki is amazing & while I don t see Dr. Bakhtari personally any longer, she s still recalls the early days of her practice with my grandfather & it s quite special to continue our medical treatment through her great practice & employees. Thank you all, for everything you do for our family.

Terrible front desk staff. Very rude. Never greet the customer. The question I was asked by the front desk girl, first of all, she suddenly appeared from no where, and asked me like I am there for some distressed person needing help..what do you need? And then I went back for blood work and the tech says I have already given blood which I never did. It appears like someones blood was drawn on a previous day on my name. Now I am in a situation not believe the result. Dr. Desai was nice and understanding but the staff.

Had an 11:00 appt today 5/13 with Dr Yuen at the Shiloh Rd/Plano, TX location, as a new patient. I arrived 10 minutes early with all my new patient paperwork completed. I was still sitting in the waiting room at 11:50 with everybody else that was in the waiting room when I arrived already being called back to be seen and people that arrived after me being called back already as well. It s crazy, I know but I actually have a job to get back to. I didn t take half the day off of work to be seen for a typical dr appt. Unacceptable, I will find another dr

They have no portal so you cant upload information or change information or pay with a credit card. You basically have to pay by check. I havent seen my checkbook for 10 years. Ive also never been to a doctors office where they say basically if you are sick (fever, coughing, etc..., dont come in, well see you on the curbside. I wouldnt mind wearing a mask if I am sick, but the doctor telling me not to come in if Im sick just seems to defeat the whole purpose of having a doctor. I like my doctor but the inconvenience of working with the office is causing me to change.

Dr. Bang was wonderful. The staff members are so nice but has poor communication. I was asked to drop by (around 8:00 am) for bloodwork. I waited an hour for something that took less than 3 minutes because the office didn t give me an order. I was upset, but the nurse who helped me with the Labcorps bloodwork this morning was very kind. I m very grateful.

I have been trying to get my medical records from this practice for almost a month now. I ve faxed requests multiple times, spoke with several people over the phone, left Angela a message at the McKinney location, and messaged through the portal. I still can t get them. Guess I ll continue to try I don t suggest this practice.

DO NOT GO HERE. Don t go here if you want to pay your bills online OR over the phone (no online option for paying bills and they don t return calls I called and left messages around 8x and wound up having to drag my two toddlers and my newborn in here to pay my bill in-person because I was nervous about getting sent to collections.) This place needs to hire WAY more staff - which just goes to show that the retention rate is likely abysmal. Don t go here if you re even a little bit holistic-minded (or get lectured and shamed about it like I did.) But perhaps most importantly, do not go here if you re pregnant, like I did. I was told I was at high risk for blood clots only to find out later that D-dimer levels are typically much higher during pregnancy (spent hundreds on a leg sonogram for that), and that I had pulmonary hypertension (which is fatal and incurable) only to spend thousands of dollars finding out that my numbers indicating this were actually all within normal limits during pregnancy and that my heart is fine. I spent months of my life in a near-constant state of stress and had a lot of emotional breakdowns all because these docs don t know enough about pregnancy. Would absolutely never recommend. Find someone else for your medical needs.

I have been a patient for at least 10 years with the office and as far as the doctors are concerned I feel like for the most part they are trustworthy and genuinely care. When it comes to the office staff not so much. They seem to have a revolving door of employees and the ones that are usually working the front desk leave you stand in there for several minutes while theyre doing whatever, every single time you go in. I do however stay with the office because Ive never had an experience with any of the doctors that was more negative than doctors and other offices that I found. It has gotten hard to find good physicians in the PCP setting and Ive tried several outside of this office and I genuinely like this one the best.

One office staff member was very rude to me. The worst any receptionist has ever been in my life. They made me want to cancel my appointment outright simply because of how I was treated. No patient should be treated so poorly that the deprioritize their own health. The doctors are great though and the facility is clean

If I could give no stars I would. This is by far the WORSE office I ve ever been to! The front desk does not know anything about insurance. As a medical coder I am very familiar with insurance verification, in network insurances, and professionalism. It lacks ALL. This office over the phone said YES we take your insurance as an existing patient only to get there and had to wait over an hour for them to verify that they was not in network with brother s insurance. I had taking off work to bring my brother to the doctor only to get turned around. I truly hate that these doctors have no idea whose handling their billing and insurance cause surely they re losing tons of money.

I wish if I can give half star, all their concern to schedule you for next appointment, they will let you enter in many procedures not sure if someone needed, but the big issue the doctor prescribe to me pre diabetes with high does and even I dont have any symptom. hard to get your lab result and any xray or anything Thumb down to this clinic, out of the word of health care and professionalism. avoid Dr.Loban she will let everyone come in procedure not necessary just to charge you money. At the end this is a business center not clinic and the step you are in they will drain you till the max

This front office is more concerned with setting an appointment and making money than relaying an important message to the doctor. They have sent me bills for amounts that were already paid to them. My husband and I have seen Dr. Bang & Dr. Garza at different times and really didnt feel a good connection with either one. Seems harder and harder to find a good PCP.

I have been a patient at Doctors of Internal Medicine for approximately the past seven years. My provider is Danielle Heck, AGPCNP-BC, MSN. I have seen her for many issues over the years and with each and every visit, I feel heard and understood and moreover treated well. She is extremely thorough, she listens, is highly knowledgeable, she takes time to explain issues, if needed, and truly cares about you. I have never once felt like a number or treated with anything but compassion and respect. Being a longtime patient, I feel I have been able to view all areas of the practice. The ease of making an appointment - even if it s a Monday morning and their phones are busy - they are efficient. This past week after being on hold, Bianca (hope I spelled that correctly) connected with me and when I accidentally ended the call, she called me back immediately. The follow through was very kind. Some offices would not have cared. The front desk is the most efficient group of people and when you leave, the back office staff and process is just as efficient. Billing has never once been an issue. Their lab is incredible. Not one other office can stick me once, but their lab techs are kind and very skilled with my difficult veins. Being a patient before the pandemic, I have watched the office respond to Covid and they were on top of things from the beginning. It is truly the most well-managed and patient-centered medical practice I have ever seen. I am so thankful to be a patient of Danielle s. If you are reading this and are looking for a PCP or to get established with a group, I highly recommend Danielle and Doctors of Internal Medicine.

I have been using Dr. Garza for the past 10 years. My wife now uses him and I have referred at least 10 of my clients as I am an insurance broker. He and his staff at both locations are absolutely wonderful even with the problems during this pandemic. I cant say enough good things about this company.

the doctorDavid Garza has been my internist for 12 years is an excellent doctor but reception is the worst in years Ive just come out of there frustrated because they didnt accept that I paid all the costs for my medical examination and medical examinations because they have a new policy. Today, I need medical attention is ridiculous that if you dont accept my insurance I want to pay and the office refuses is unacceptable

You make an appointment to visit a doctor and you get a nurse who takes your life story and medical information only to get another nurse (who throws the word practitioner to make the previous nurse sound like she has little credibility) to use that information to talk to you like she is doing you a favor with her condescending words and lack of bedside manners. Never got a chance to see a doctor. Never go to a glorified urgent care again.

A great place for a primary care physician! All the stuff is super nice and really cater to your needs. The doctors/nurses listen and give you ample time. Super clean office and huge with a variety of treatments. I feel like I chose this as the right place for my PCP.

Getting in contact with this office is a nightmare, as you should expect 15-20 min wait times. Ive been a patient for almost 5 years and it is has really gone downhill over that time. It seems like everyone is disconnected from each other as every time you speak to them, youll get a different answer. Anyway, I cant recommend them.

I would highly recommend not seeing Dr. Mohapatra, as I had an extremely uncomfortable doctor visit here, nor would I recommend this office in general. Throughout the whole appointment it was clear this Doctor would not be listening to me, or spending the time to further elaborate on anything that needed clarification. She provided short and vague answers to my follow up questions. She was incredibly pushy, and I was treated like a child who needed to be told what to do, which was frustrating and unnecessary. She kept pushing for a new prescription for a medication I felt I did not need, insisting that the current medication I was taking for the symptoms was not good enough, even though I said it was working just fine, and had been, for about a year. She still sent the prescription to the pharmacy - not once did she offer alternatives, or explain the dosage or side effects of the medication. As someone who has had this condition for years and has tried multiple medications before with side effects outweighing the positive benefits, this really concerned me. The staff forgot about me in the parking lot for the COVID-19 protocol when I got there 15 minutes early as requested, and I had to call twice to get someone to take my temperature and allow me into the building. I appreciate the precautions, but it made the actual appointment run long as I was not even checked-in until after my appointment time. I have still not heard from their office after my request for my medical records 7 days ago. The electronic survey they provided didnt even have the right name of the doctor I saw, so I couldnt leave this feedback there instead. Based on all that, find another doctors office and a different doctor in the area - I know I will!

Office staff wasnt wearing masks despite signs everywhere stating EVERYONE must. They were supposed to call with test results. Never did. Doctor calls me sweetie constantly and makes outlandish and unfounded claims about meds and autism. So unprofessional and annoying. Definitely not going back

I have been going to this office for nearly 4 years now. I am a patient of Dr. Bang and my husband sees Dr. Garza. They are excellent here! The nurses are friendly and the doctors are too! Its very clean here and I never have to wait long to be seen. It can be hard to schedule last minute appointments with my GP but they have a few excellent nurse practitioners on staff that I love! Ive never had an issue with the front desk staff per other comments. I recommend this office to everyone I know and several of my coworkers go here too. Close to my job and easy in/out for yearly exams. Highly recommend!

Me and my family have been cared for at this clinic for 5 years. The kindness and actual concern for me and my family is such a breath of fresh air from the normal doctor experience. Your treated well from the front door to your exit. My doctor actually comes in with a smile and does not make me feel rushed and her solutions are always on the forefront of medicine. I have been to many providers in my life as I travel for a living but this has been the best find for care for myself and family.

Dr. Janet Lin is awesome shes takes great care or my daughter and myself. This low rating is due to being denied care due to me being involved in a car accident. I was told its their office policy to not see anyone involved in an motor vehicle accident. I was referred to some unknown physician who then gives me a diagnosis over the phone and referred me to someone else. Meanwhile my vision is blurry, Im having headaches and serious back and neck pain. They didnt even bother to ask me about before refusing to serve me and I have my own medical insurance that Im trying to use not the at fault party. Consider taking your family to a different doctor after they treat their patients this way.

21 years later and Ive followed Dr Garza to his new office. He listens to all your concerns and doesnt rush your visits. Both the PAs Debbie and Jennifer are awesome to work with when he is not available as well as the many doctors and MAs that are willing to help you with all concerns.

Called a week prior to schedule a general check-up, I told them I had not seen a doctor in 2 years. My doctor had moved to a further location since my last visit so they set up an appt with an available doctor. 2 days before the appt I confirmed via their automated service that I would definitely be there. 2 hours before the appointment they called me asking if I was to be seen for a specific issue or a physical, as they did not have time for a physical but could see me for a quick visit. I asked why they did not notify me at any point the week before now as I have a 6 week old baby and cant turn on a dime but they simply said it was a scheduling issue. Disrespectful and absent minded office, dont waste your time here. There are plenty of better options.

I have also seen Jennifer the PA who is very nice and funny and makes you feel very comfortable during your appointments. I needed to get my husband in ASAP since his doctor moved and their receptionist, Riley, was very kind and accommodating today! I would recommend this office!
