So let me get this straight, on open table, when booking, restaurant is also outdoor seating? This probably needs to be clarified as you have four other options that are outdoor seating, so one might assume that this is inside.

We went to this place for my birthday with friends. The place was fabulous! Amazing vibe, great live music, delish food, nice service. The drinks were good too. One of the best outdoor places Id say in Frisco. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Plenty vegetarian options Parking: It is main frisco downtown, so parking is hard to find. If you are early, you can park at the restaurant parking which is fairly limktwd. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly

I am blown away!!! I actually came in not long before they were closing and they still took the time to walk me out to the patio bar! The bartender outside (Christian)was right there with water and immediately had a tasty Pinot Grigio when I asked. I was stopped by several young ladies having their birthday party who recognized me and told me how amazing their time was as well. Angelica was on top of everything for them. Great job all around!!!!

This place is a gem inside Frisco. Happy Hour is very good - decent selection - half price beers; wines. Service is always pretty good. We have been here a few times and honestly the quality doesnt change. Their pizzas are very very good. Good beer selection, good wine selection (advice by a bottle its cheaper than glasses). The only thing that really gets me is; they charge you extra for using the gas firepits. I understand the cost of propane; but honestly Id rather pay a dollar extra on things and have it included. **Update 7/25** Went to celebrate my birthday while enjoying a good temperature for Texas during July. Mary took care of us; wow what an amazing and dedicated service. After talking for a bit she told us that the propane is no longer being charged as the place has had a change of ownership. This is one of those hidden gems that really never seizes to impress me. Thanks Mary for the great service!!! We will be back.

We spent a birthday celebration with my family here. It was our first outing at Eight 11 and I cant overstate enough how enjoyable our meal was. Our waiter goes by Robert and he was great! I cant recall the last time we had such great service. He was very accommodating with our party (including a 1 year old). He was very patient with our questions and gave great suggestions. The food was great - tried a custom Goat cheese, pepperoni and mushroom pizza as well as the jalapeno popper one. I shared a bottle of the F-Bomb wine which was so tasty, I decided to buy one to go. Although it was too hot to sit outside the patio area looks nice with fire pits. Would definitely return when the weather gets colder to experience them!

I know theres some mixed reviews but we had a great experience last Saturday! We sat inside because its TX summer and our server was very attentive, checked on us often. We started with a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine. We waited a bit to order our pizza (Fig and Prosciutto = yummy) so we wouldnt feel rushed and that was a good call. When we were done we still had wine left so we moved outside to sit at the bar for the live music.

We arrived and were sat by the lady at the front behind the bar. There was only my husband and I and two other girls (which were standing at the bar talking with the lady that sat us) in the whole place. The lady brought us water and said our waiter would be with us and then no one came back to us to take our order or greet us. We sat there for about 10-15 mins while we listened the lady at the front talking with the other girls joking and laughing about something that was 2 inches long. We decided to leave and left our waters untouched and it did not seem to bother anyone that we were for leaving. Our experience was that this place was unprofessional and we did not even get to try anything.

Food was good. Service poor. One meal served 10 minutes before the other although ordered at same time. Server was almost non-existent. After eating, we waited and waited. Was finally given the check without asking if we wanted dessert. Inside dining was supposed to be quiet. It was noisy, including a party of 12 that got louder the longer they drank. Will not return.

I visited the Dallas area for the FCS Football Championships and was looking for a place to practice my blind tasting skills for an upcoming exam. I stumbled upon Eight-11, in Frisco and to my surprise, I indulged in the perfect blend of ambiance and outstanding wine tasting. Along with an amazing house burger, I tasted eight fun wines (three were blends), and watched delightful crowd fill the establishment. Despite being very busy by 6:30 pm on a Saturday night, Eight-11 has a cozy atmosphere. This is an ideal location for a flight of exquisite wine and a great meal.

What a surreal and awful experience we had at this restaurant. I went with a girl friend at her recommendation. She had been there in years past and really liked it. The night started well. We had the dining room almost all to ourselves (one other couple was there) and the other few groups out that night were outside by the fire pits. Our first server, Ali, helped recommend the right wine for me. The wine was delicious! Unfortunately as we placed our food order we found out Ali was clocking out for the night and our new server was introduced. Within the next hour we experienced the following: - Flagging down someone else working there to get our server so we could order more drinks after probably 15 minutes not checking on us. - Serving ourselves water from the station nearby when we didnt see our server for another 15 minutes. - Watching the other table get their own plates from the same station and then bussing their own table to make room for the pizza that was dropped off with no consideration made to all the items on their small table. Meaning the baseline serving requirement of checking on your table after food is dropped off... Never happened. - Realizing that all of the sloppily dressed people there actually worked there. Im talking sweat pants, etc. At a wine bar with $29 pizzas. - Seeing numerous staff standing in the small room where the wine bar itself is located, doing nothing. - Getting our pizzas ONE HOUR after ordering them (asking for status twice) and not until we had already decided we wanted our bill to get the heck out of there. We were at least given the courtesy of not paying $60 for two 12 inch pizzas after all of this. The manager said he wished he had known sooner about our bad experience. But he was in the other room with the others actively seeing them not working. This was truly a laughable experience. I was actually laughing uncomfortably at the table because it was so unbelievable. Even 20% more effort would have at least been passable for two people who are not very difficult to please.

I ve been to Eight 11 Place many times over the years and really enjoyed it. Thursday night was my first time back in a year or so. I was sad to see that the service was really lacking. Our first server, Ali, was good, knowledgeable, and attentive, but she was clocking out. We were handed off to another server, and at that point everything went downhill. We had to hunt him down for more drinks. We ended up refilling our own waters. And our food was apparently never made when the order was put in but our server didn t check on it himself. We had to ask about it twice. After an hour waiting for food, we spoke to the manager who apologized for the issue, but at that point we were just ready to go. We paid for our drinks and the manager comped the food. There was just a general lack of service on a night that was not busy. Lots of workers just standing around at the bar chatting or walking back and forth to the kitchen but very little check-in with the diner. Too bad. Hope this was a one-off, but it definitely took the shine of this former gem for me.

We love the mojitos here (especially the watermelon during the summer!), the pizza, and Caesar salad. Our favorite pizza is the jalapeño one (blanking on the name). She brought out both for us to try and it was absolutely fantastic. The drinks and music they played were great. We ordered the berry passion and the seasonal Pineapple aperol spritz, which were also great. We talked to the bartender who offered us tastes of a couple wines we were curious about at NO cost!! She was very knowledgeable and explained each one in depth, which was helpful because I don t know anything about wine LOL. I am so happy we chose to stop in this quaint little place. This was one of the saddest and worst experiences dining in my life. It s upsetting to write this but I need to warn others because they do NOT deserve business. Sadly, I had my mother meet me here for lunch on a Saturday, a midway point for both of us. There was hundreds of other deserving places we could have enjoyed. I made a reservation for 12pm and she arrived 10 minutes prior to me. I walked in and the place was EMPTY.. which was a concern. We made a joke about it. She said after 10 minutes of being seated, she still didn t get anything to drink. She walked over to the front entrance and the 3 girls on staff were playing card games! So minutes later we still didn t get water.. I walked to the front entrance and the blond girl was getting her hair braided! I later found out she is the MANAGER. I said if it is going to be this way, I will take my mother elsewhere, but we are very hungry and please let us know if we ll get served or not.. the brunette girl who was braiding the managers hair gave me attitude and said our waitress was on the phone taking an order. I said then why not help her? We should have left.. but my Mom now had a headache and just wanted to order soup. We continued being ignored after ordering soup plus a pizza hoping it would get better. It didn t. The waitress looked like she was in despair. I even asked if she was ok, but she gave me no expression, no communication. We were actually polite after all of this because I wasn t sure if the waitress was going through a tragedy. At some point, 2 other women were seated and they also couldn t believe what was happening. They also had to keep getting up for assistance. None of us were being served. Only 4 customers at lunch hour. We couldn t understand why all 3 girls on staff including a mgr were ignoring us. In the end I found them again playing cards, and said they shouldn t be opened up for business that day if they couldn t handle 2 easy tables. In the end the manager discounted the bill. We regretted staying especially since we addressed it early.. and they kept treating us badly. The only nice part was the music & atmosphere.

Im always on the lookout for exceptional places that offer not only a delightful culinary experience but also a unique ambiance. I had the pleasure of visiting Eight 11 Place, in the heart of charming downtown Frisco, Texas. This quaint restaurant, set in a beautifully restored historic house, instantly captured my attention with its inviting patio and warm, homey atmosphere. Upon entering, we were greeted by the wafting aroma of freshly baked flatbreads and an extensive selection of carefully curated wines. The friendly and knowledgeable staff guided us through their wine list, which featured a variety of local and international options, ensuring an adventure for every palate. I was particularly impressed by their commitment to offering a diverse range of choices, from the novice wine drinker to the seasoned connoisseur. The food menu, though modest, offered a thoughtful selection of artisan flatbreads, salads, and shareable plates, all designed to complement the wine offerings. I opted for the Salmon Board which was a delightful symphony of flavors - the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with an added crunch from the candied pecans. The accompanying pizza was a noteworthy side dish, with their golden, crispy exterior and an irresistible aroma that could charm even the most discerning customer. As I savored each bite and sipped my Weekend-tini, I couldnt help but be charmed by the live music playing in the background - a delightful blend of jazz, blues, and acoustic tunes that added to the overall ambiance. The interior design, reminiscent of a cozy vintage living room, was adorned with eclectic artwork, comfortable seating, and tasteful lighting, making it a perfect spot for a romantic rendezvous or a casual gathering with friends. Eight 11 Place has expertly blended the allure of a sophisticated wine bar with the comfort of a neighborhood bistro, creating a hidden gem in the heart of Frisco. Its a haven for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike, and I eagerly await my next visit to explore more of their culinary creations and wine offerings. A must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience!

I usually have had a great experience here, very disappointing.

Last Saturday my sister and I went there with our five children, ages 4 - 10, at lunch time. The hostess was very kind and asked us if we would like to sit inside or outside. We said whatever was easier for her. That we would be happy to do both. Then the manager came and she asked him where he would like us to be seated. He acted very aggravated and said definitely not outside, we had some children get hurt last weekend so were not letting any people with children sit outside. Then he added, this isnt really a place for children to eat. He continued with, it will take me a moment to get a table ready for you all. And then he went into the back. We told the hostess that we would just find somewhere else to eat. She looked embarrassed. I have never had an experience like that before. Our children are very well-mannered, and we would have given them seven meals to prepare and a great tip. Needless to say I will never be back.

I thought this place was going to be epic. (Eight 11) I order a drink waiting for my wife since she was getting us coffee. Moments later I get a call from my wife, crying. She told me, please pay for your drink and leave the restaurant ASAP. I was confused and concerned because I saw a police officer outside, thinking maybe she got in a car accident. Turns out the manager ran out and harassed my wife for having a coffee inside the restaurant. The manager(owner?) called her a c*nt, followed her down the street and took photos of her. 1. Very strange reaction over a coffee. 2. Is the manager high/drunk? Very Bazar Behavior From Someone, Must Be More Going On With This Manager/Owner/Restaurant. I hope no one should experience being harassed, verbally assaulted and stalked for having a coffee inside an establishment. We Went Down The Street To HayStack Where They Allowed Coffee. Update: I Dont See This Establishment Staying Open Much Longer After Seeing Recent Reviews Of New Management Taking Over And Experience Similar Things. Save Your Money, Support Kind Businesses.

We walked in at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon hoping to enjoy a bottle of wine on the patio. The patio probably seats 50 people or more. There were 6 people on the patio and the owner said they could not seat anyone because all the tables were reserved. We are an older couple in our 60s but nice looking and fit people. It was obvious he did not want to sit us. We ended up sitting at the bar and stayed for an hour and a half and no other people ever showed up to sit on this patio that supposedly was full for reservations.

This downtown Frisco wine bar is as authentic as it gets. They truly embody the spirit of a small business that offers everything a big chain cant - quality and charm. The inside is a rustic-y dining room that is wonderfully complemented by an outdoor area that has live music. We opted to stay indoors this time around. The food was delicious. We had the two vegetarian sandwiches on the menu and both were so fresh and flavorful. While we did not get dessert this time, we saw the table next to us get smores that they got to roast over a flame right at the table! We will definitely be back for that. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about wines. They were attentive and gave us info on the wines we drank or asked about. The wine flights are also great (with very generous pours). They have a unique wine selection and also sell full bottles onsite that you can take home. As an added bonus, all the indoor tables (not sure about the outdoor ones) had purse hooks! Needless to say, we will definitely be back. This place is easily a date night favorite.

Tonight I took two friends that had never been to 811. We were eager and excited to sit outside by a fire pit. When we arrived we were told we had to walk to the front to be seated by a hostess and we asked to be seated outside. We were relocated to 4 different fire pits before we could find one that worked and would stay lit. I On our final table, we had to switch servers. Our second server Zach started strong (the first one, Cade was great and worked hard to find us a table to sit at), but then he (Zach) faded away without checking in, seeing about our drinks, water, food, the bill? We had to track him down, call him over or do without. When we finally received a 2nd and last beverage, the drinks my friends requested were wrong. When they mentioned it to the server, he did not offer a solution. Instead he stated Oh, I thought that is what you said. His lack of service was not because he was excessively busy... which made it all the more frustrating. When we asked for our bill, we were surprised to see a $10 propane fee. We were never informed, it isnt posted anywhere, and after our experience all the more frustrating. When we asked for a manager, someone eventually came to our table. He was not a manager. When we asked if he was he said the manager was in the bathroom. We waited. When the manager arrived, she had no authority to handle a complaint and had to call the owners, Marianne and Josh, to find out what to do, which amounted to nothing. I have to say I am so disappointed. I have loved this place and had many great experiences. I know a night can be off... but this was NOT good customer service. Unfortunately, this is another place that has not upheld its standards, level of service, and sadly has no real management available. My friends will never want to return, and now, neither will I.
