I recently moved back to the metroplex. I have not had Mooyah in over 6 years and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Everything was perfect from the burger, to the fries, to the chocolate shake. I will definitely be back. Thank you for kicking my cravings to the curb today!

This was one of the worst burger places/restaurants I ve ever been to. First, the guy ringing us up charged us extra. It was also around 80 degrees in the restaurant IN TEXAS HEAT. Then when I ordered a sweet tea they were out and he said it would take 5 minutes to make a new batch. Or he said I can make my own with the unsweetened and I told him no thank you. The unsweetened tea was also empty. I didn t get my sweet tea until after I was done with my hamburger and I am a very slow eater. The tea was not sweetened once I did fill up the cup. Another red flag was the color of their ketchup. It was a very dark red that was not normal: it looked like BBQ sauce color. Also, when we were ordering, one of the cooks dropped something they were cooking with (A bottle used to douse the grill with. Maybe water or oil) and picked it right off the floor and continued using it. The bathrooms were completely uncleaned and had trash everywhere and food on the sink where you wash your hands. Finally, when we were leaving my daughter wasn t feeling good so I went to ask for a to-go box. The lady lazily nodded her head towards these white bags and once I looked inside of them there was no box only small open containers for something like a hot-dog. I once again went back to her and asked her for a to-go BOX & then she finally helped me and got me one. Horrible experience.

The food was just okay. I was happy to see that they had a vegan option available. The vegan option was just okay. The vegan option had too much barbecue sauce on it. The service was very poor and the store appeared to be poorly ran. On a good note, the fries were fresh and hot.

The staff are always so nice. I ve gone most likely 10+ times this year, and the food always turns out the way I asked for it to be when I order online, there was one time I did check the bag before I left, and something was incorrect. When I brought it in, they were more than accommodating and apologized. They fixed it immediately and I went on my way. I love this location. Dietary restrictions: I m gluten intolerant so I like that they have lettuce wraps and gluten-free buns.

This Mooyah location in Plano is consistently good across all areas. The staff is very polite and outgoing. The hamburgers are cooked perfectly and must be eaten there while hot to experience the best flavor, transport time is not the friend of burgers or French fried. We always get the sharable size of fries and devour them down to the crunchies. We are regulars every 10-14 days. Dont tell my cardiologist. Been Mooyah customers sine they open their first resturant in 2007

Worst burger Ive had in years. My wife and I both ate only half our burgers and threw out the rest. Go literally anywhere else. Rodeo Goat, Kennys, Five Guys, Culvers. The burgers looked nothing like the pictures on the storefront. I know the pictures are mockups to look great, but I joked it was so bad we should sue for false advertising. My guess is they order cheap flash frozen patties in bulk. This place is a burger spot, and nothing but burgers. Why cut corners on the most important ingredient? Lastly, use bigger buns. Dont use tiny buns to make your patties look bigger than they actually are.

Love this place for burgers. Fun options for their defaults, love the lettuce bun that still so few places do. Their personal fries are still usually enough for two to share. This was possible the worst service we have ever received. We got to the restraunt at about 8:20. While we were ordering food from the kiosk they put up ALL of the chairs in the dining area, leaving us nowhere to sit. After we installed chairs to be able to sit, we got our food. All but one meal was wrong. Some missing ingredients such as the beer cheese on the pretzel pub burger. After explaining everything wrong and missing they said they would bring the missing stuff to us. After a few minutes they brought over one of the three missing sides. Went back up and they then grabbed the chips out of a container (they were stale and old). I asked about the sweet potatoe fries and they said they already gave us the fries. I proceeded to go over the receipt for a third time with them to show we ordered multiples. While waiting for those we had all finished our meals so I told them to just refund me versus waiting for the fries. The person who said they where the manager said since I ordered on kiosk I would have to call. I asked who and he just shrugged. All of this while they kept locking the doors not letting people in and people who where in had to wait to be left out. All of this was before 9 when they closed. Multiple times people who placed online orders had to stand at the doors knocking to get let in to get the food they ordered. This is just horrible customer service as well I am sure a violation of the fire code. Even after all the ordeal and waiting on food we still left before 9. Emailed as requested and still no reply. Sent complaint through app and got reply saying would be contacted in 48 hours. It s been six days.

I ordered a build your own burger from here 2 nights ago for takeout. When I got home, I realized they didn t put the grilled jalapeños I asked for on the burger (my favorite ingredient). It was very disappointing as I couldn t drive back to have it fixed. To top it off, the burger was overcooked and dry. I understand mistakes happen, but there was no one eating at this location. There were no other orders on the grill how do you mess up the only order you have? The worst part was, they gave me a stack of napkins. I used them as I was eating my burger. Honestly, this is one of my favorite places. The national burger day was terrible because the manager cashier was incompetent but this time the service was back to normal and amazing. The guy that made my burger needs a raise and promotion to Quilty Control. Excellent good and I typically dont care for skin fries but these were delicious and fresh and hot. My one complaint is that they are overly greasy. Otherwise I am happy!

Got two vegan burgers and one regular. Regular was alright. The vegan tasted like dirt. Either the lettuce was dirty or the burger patty itself was moldy. Serving old or moldy food? I m pretty sure those black bean patties are bad. Unacceptable. I contacted corporate and they said the owner of this franchise would reach out to me. It s been about a month and nothing. I contacted corporate again and they said someone should have reached out and they would inform them again. Yesterday was free fry day and that popped up on my phone so good marketing Mooyah. I hadn t been to Mooyah in a while so I was excited for my burger and my free fries! I am not sure what happened, I could not even eat my food and wasted 10$. The burger did not taste the same and it was soggy, the fries were soggy and cold. They even gave me fresh ones, but somehow they just tasted old and still soggy. I was so let down yesterday and I really hate waisting money on food that I cannot even eat. My 6 year old was trying to watch me eat that yesterday and it made me feel so bad. :( I am not sure when I will be returning. I am all about customer service especially in the food industry because I used to work in it. I wish something could be done about this terrible experience for me yesterday. Thanks.

Very clean atmosphere for a restaurant. The food was delicious. My hamburger was fresh, perfectly cooked, everything that was available was correct, BUT I was highly disappointed that they didn t have an egg to go on my hamburger. This would have easily earned a perfect five star review from me. I recommend this Mooyah Burger as my second favorite Mooyah Burger place in Plano. They did very well for what they offered. Lastly, their staff was very kind, patient and helpful. They made my experience delightful and enjoyable. Thank you for the delicious food and please consider adding an option of a cooked egg to be selected by your customers because many of us really like that option. Parking: The parking was great. Better than average but not for the price. $16.00 for a Burger, Fry and drink. Fries are over cooked and a bit oily. Potato bun is not a good choice for a burger vessel. The price range falls in line with places like Rodeo Goat and Olive Burger which I think are a bit better, but just my opinion I ll be back though. A couple tweaks and it could be amazing.

Great family dining spot. I took my daughter and grand daughter to lunch at MOOYAH today. They have really good kids meal options that are a great value. I recently went to the Mooyah on W Parker and ordered a kids cheeseburger meal with extra cheese and chips and a Quesonario meal with fries. When I saw my feed, I was disappointed my sons burger had nothing on it, no lettuce, tomatoes, Mayonnaise, or the extra cheese I requested that chips were overcooked. The worker at the front taking orders had his air pods in and was struggling to hear us to take our orders and had us repeat ourselves instead of taking out his AirPods. Then when we finally got our food both of our burgers were red and cold as if they just cooked it long enough for the outside color to change leaving the inside raw. Incredibly disappointing. I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Severely overpriced meals, paid 35 for 2 people getting only 2 meals and a small milkshake, burgers were okay, fries were bad and the milkshake...was a milkshake. Food is comparable to Freddies Frozen Custard except 25% more expensive and worse fries

I visited this past Sunday. I was absolutely craving an MDC, some chips, and a shake while watching some NFL. Unfortunately, I received a nice shabby helping of indifference, derelict of duty, and unprofessional behavior from the youngsters behind the counter. I have visited this location before with no issues. I always order the exact same thing. So, I came in, ordered as I normally do and took a seat. A considerable amount of time passes and I have yet to hear my name called for a routine order. I noticed an elderly man preparing what appeared to be online orders or perhaps app orders. I see a burger on a tray next to him...just sitting there. I then looked towards the register to see 5 to 6 young men huddled together laughing and watching the game. I blew it off, and figured Id refill my soft drink and give a bit more grace and patience. Next thing I know, another family comes in, places their order, took their seat, and lo and behold what do I hear across the PA? They call that familys name and give them their food. I then looked back up near the area where you pickup your order and I notice my burger still sitting there on a tray. At that point, I approached the counter and asked the elderly man if there was some kind of issue with my order - I explained that I had been waiting nearly 10 minutes and that I had noticed others who arrived after I did having already received their orders. The elderly man ignored me and continued making the online or app orders. Suddenly, one of youngsters watching the visiting with coworkers near the register - a Hispanic Male with a ponytail - comes up and rudely raises his voice saying, You ordered chips, everyone else ordered fries - chips take longer to prepare! I then looked behind him, and what do I see? A large pile of chips sitting beneath a warming element ready to go. I decided to just forego the argument, and go back to the front of the store and get a refund since I was clearly being denied service for some reason. Ponytail fella then approaches the register and says, Your food is ready now. I explained to him that I was not willing to pay for cold food. He attempted to argue and start a verbal exchange over the ordeal. I refused the advance, and reiterated that I would not pay for cold food and deliberate subpar, disrespectful service. I eventually received the refund and went about my way to Rodeo Goat instead. Better burgers, and most importantly better human beings there that will treat all customers with equal respect. Moolah #170 needs to get with it. Get your heads out, and realize that you are not entitled to the customers money and patronization. You must provide equitable service in exchange for the money that the customer pays. If you cannot do this, put a sign on the door explaining this in detail, so we can all refrain from wasting our time.

I came in and asked for a well done burger and fries with light on the sauces. I received a thrown together burger and fries. They looked at me so awkward when I said I wasnt eating it. He told me the fries were well done as if he was eating them. Everyone else s food looked amazing thats what made me even more upset, throwing my burger together so sloppily. They remade my burger and it was amazing but it shouldn t have took me to stand up for myself in order for it to happen!

I got the double Diablo burger! Tasted great! Lots of flavor! Staff was wonderful. The fries are why I gave three stars. They tasted like they were cooked in old grease and over cooked! They were hard and had a grease taste to them.

I use to eat here all the time when I worked in Richardson but I wanted to take my husband and son 11 who r avid burger lovers and it did not disappoint just the worker forgot a couple of things and messed up the order even though it was dine in we switched some items among ourselves and ate Yes it hit.

the food... I had the cheddar bacon burger with avocado and mayo instead of bbq, way too much mayo, next time Ill ask for less.. my husband had the Indulgent BBQ burger and I much preferred his over mine. I had the sweet potato fries and they were amazing BUT their ranch is not the ranch for ranch lovers. So I didnt have anything to dip my fries in. The regular fries they were stuck in between overdone on the outside and not done enough in the inside(much like In-N-Outs fries). The fry portions were big enough to share one order which was a bonus. I will probably give this place one more try and update my review then. Mind you two burgers, with two fries and two drinks was about $37 so I did expect a bit more, but I would give it another try with a bit more knowledge this time.

The best burgers! Love that they have so many options to customize your burger just the way you like it, especially the Ice Burger option (burger wrapped in lettuce). They use high quality and fresh ingredients to make their burgers. Some of my favorites include are the real, thick cut bacon, crunchy pickles and their signature Mooyah sauce. My kids love their real ice cream milk shakes.
