Cinemark Pharr Town Center and XD is my go-to spot for a great movie experience! The theater is always clean, and the seating is super comfortable, especially with the recliners that make it feel like youre watching from home. The sound and picture quality, especially in the XD theater, are outstanding, really immersing you in the movie. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the concession stand has a great variety of snacks and drinks. Whether youre catching a blockbuster or an indie film, this place never disappoints. While I understand policies are policies, I do appreciate customer service and basic kindness. We are parents of 3, trying to have a date night, our littlest one is not taking bottle yet so we brought him with us to the 10:10 showing of Deadpool vs Wolverine, with his noise canceling headphones and blanket to keep him comfortable and fuss free while he slept through the movie. Now, it was our own oversight not to read the fine print or call ahead, but we encountered numerous staff members, and I had 2 silent face to face encounters with the Manager on duty as well.. all of this and not one person spoke up to inform us of this policy, not from walking in and being greeted, to getting the drinks at the bar, to popcorn at concessions. Everyone apparently knew the policy and more than half the movies starting at that time were R rated and no courtesy was shown to inquire or kindly remind us that if we are seeing any of the R movies we ll need to exchange our ticket for something else. This is my issue, is that management and staff watched us spend $$$ with a baby in his car seat and didn t inquire further or inform us further, because we were honestly clueless and never remember experiencing this at AMC, which dominated our previous city we moved from. They did refund the popcorn, yay I guess. Anyways, no kids under 6yrs after 6pm..

My favorite theater in the valley but extremely rude management. Bought tickets to watch Longlegs with a few friends and we were all required to show our ids but unfortunately one friend forgot hers at home. We asked if a picture would be okay but the manager was very confrontal about the situation. Instead of driving roughly 25-30 minutes home to pick up her id we were passive aggressively forced to just get a refund.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had at your theater during the screening of the Deadpool movie yesterday. This is the first time Ive encountered such poor conditions at this location, and it was deeply disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unfriendly, offering no greeting or welcome. The absence of basic customer service was noticeable. The drink service area was in a deplorable state, with soda spills, garbage, and popcorn scattered everywhere. The restrooms were in an even worse condition, completely neglected and filthy. While the quality of the film and sound was satisfactory, the overall experience was not worth the $80 I paid. If these issues are not addressed, I will have no choice but to take my business elsewhere, where cleanliness and customer service are a priority. I strongly urge you to address these concerns to prevent this location from going to waste. Your attention to these matters would be greatly appreciated.

seems like the requirement to be an employee at Cinemark Pharr is to be rude & depressing. the young male at the podium was not helpful with our questions, & seems like everyone we asked, even the manager, didn t know how to do their job well or they re just lazy. with exception of the lovely older woman employee who attended us. almost everyone there seems to not learn the regulations about anything or just makes it up on the spot. the larger theater isn t worth the drive anymore & this management should learn from Weslaco s Cinemark.

Im visiting here for work. The young lady was rude when I asked her where I could buy tickets. Bought a large popcorn. At my local Cinemark they ask if I want butter before placing the popcorn in the bucket. They served the popcorn and then I had to ask for the butter. There was no ice in the side machines. The premium seats are torn up and in need of replacing. If it werent for the cashier at the concessions that asked if i had a reward membership i reached to use of give this place a 1 star.

Horrible experience, the worker assigned to scan tickets was being rude and unprofessional. I am a first responder and look forward when Im off duty to catch a movie and enjoy myself with my family. Instead, this particular worker profiled my kids while I was already sitting in my seat waiting for them. This is very disappointing for Cinemark to hire employees like these. I contacted Cinemark and still no call or email from the GM at this location (Cinemark Pharr). This shows zero concern or care from this establishment.

General Manager was very rude, when giving out rain check passes. Reason for passes was because they were having back to back power outages and employees only came to check auditorium once when fire alarm was going off and we were told to remain in our seats. I came to this movie theater with my children and husband. I was denied service because I have my baby in a car seat. The excuse was that its a city ordinance that does not allow car seats. So I called the fire marshal to clearify and that was false information. There is no city ordinance on car seats in the movie theaters. So I also call corporate office. Which also told me they have no policy against car seats in the movie theaters. So just keep an eye since management seems to make up their own rules as they go.

Good evening, so we came to watch the movie Abigail today 4/21/24 at 6:30pm the without knowing no kids under 6 year old are allowed at the movies. The girl name Michelle that receives tickets told us that we couldn t go in due that we had a one year old baby we asked to speak with Manager and a Scott came and told us we just couldn t go in but instead of them been nice about it they called Security and the Security which I didn t get name started cussing at my husband so unprofessional from there part no one was even giving attitude or anything what so ever. I guess just cuz he has a security badge he thinks he can act tuff and have the authority to cus at customers. Never again will go to this theater. We had bought 6 tickets.

Best time to go Is 12 pm to 4 pm otherwise itll be extremely crowded and youll have to wait a while in line for snacks. Parking is not that far from the theater so that means less walking.. Also its so clean! You dont walk in to leftovers like other cinemas so yeah I highly recommend.

These people disgust me, I brought in my dog that s A SERVICE DOG, and stated that I needed to show a certificate when in the state of Texas it says I don t need to show it to no one.
