After five months with another attorney and no progression of my case, I was recommended by a friend to contact Elisse. She was truly my saving grace. She quickly requested records from the prior attorney and had a call with opposing counsel within a few days. Within three weeks, the divorce case was closed and filed in Dallas within 24hrs. I highly recommend Elisse as she was always professional, caring, honest and a hard worker. I see the work of family law attorneys from a little different perspective. I see whether or not the settlements they make for their clients actually work in real life, especially in the finance arena. This is exactly what Ms. Woelfel does. She offers so much more than good lawyering - although there is certainly that. She is so aware of her clients ancillary needs revolving around divorce and family structure. And, she takes steps to make sure her clients are well cared for in every area. I love that, not only does the legal community have such an outstanding professional in their ranks but, the entire community has such a great person in its citizenry. To start I want to thank Elisse for everything she did for me throughout one of the most stressful processes in my life. I had a wonderful experience working with Elisse. Not only did she give me the professional advice she was there as a person to listen and genuinely give the best expert advice. Elisse is responsive and has a great sense of urgency with communication. I cannot say how grateful I am to Elisse for going the extra mile to get me the best outcome possible and continuing support. The process was extended due to the other parties inconsistent behaviors and the hiring of an Accident lawyer and not a Family lawyer but Elisse was there step by step patienlty and professionaly and knowing she is on my side made a huge impact to the process. I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to Elisse Woelfel for handling my case with the TX OAGs office and getting my back child support dealt with. Its helps me a great deal towards getting some of the issues I had from my past corrected. The relief of that burden is un-describable. Elisse made it possible with her hard work, diligence, passion, and enthusiasm. Based on Elisses suggestions, we worked with my oldest childs mother to forgive part of the back child support and reduce my payments based on my current income. Plus, were able to agree to a reasonable amount to pay on the remaining back support amount. I fully trust her knowledge and experience in the law. It was easy to be completely honest with her while we worked my case and I have NEVER been more comfortable speaking with an attorney at that level. When I was served divorce papers earlier this year, I went into an immediate panic. I had no idea what to do. I didn t know any family attorneys, I had never needed a lawyer before.
