I went in for a cleaning. Beverly was my dental hygieneist. Beverly gave me the best cleaning I have ever had. She was VERY thorough. When she was done, my teeth had never looked whiter. She was courteous throughout my visit. I wish more people had Beverlys work ethic. Because of Beverly, I will be a continuing patient at Lowes Farm Dental.

My hygienist was amazing!! I had to schedule my exam separate from the cleaning because they were so busy but that was ok. She got me in, cleaned my teeth thoroughly and was considerate while doing it. The staff is a lot better than it use to be and I hope they stay!

I have given this office a five-star review in the past, but my last visit gave my pause. As always, I booked my appointment six months in advance. Still, I was contacted via text only one day before that appointment on 12/20 to be told that I had to reschedule with the only options being the next day or some time in January. I chose 12/21 at 11:30. When I arrived at 11:20, the receptionist/office manager informed me that my appointment was not until noon. I showed her the text that said 11:30. Nevertheless, I still was not seen until 12:10. (I asked why my appointment had been rescheduled and was informed that no hygienists were working the day of my original appointment:-/) The hygienist who eventually saw me, Beverly, was as thorough as any had ever been, and she told me a trick about flossing with the middle fingers instead of the forefingers that really works. I hope she chooses to stay at the office for at least the next six months. (Ive been frustrated by the lack of consistency in hygienists over the last two years.) I needed MI paste, which costs $25 for a small tube, but the lovely receptionist/office manager gave it to me without charging me because of the scheduling debacle. I hope that she, too, will stay, but Lowes Farm has become a revolving door of employees, unfortunately. Still, my oral health is excellent, and everyone who works there--even in the short-term--is polite and competent.

I repeatedly asked if they see kids and do cleaning for them before booking my appointment and they said yes. When I got there, they signed me in and took my son s xray for his teeth and after a long wait, the dentist came in for like 5 mins and told me my son had four cavities and that they do not do cleaning for children. He went ahead to refer me to pediatric dental. Why did you take my appointment in the first place and waste my time only to refer me to someone else after subjecting my child to radiation from xray. Well I went to Pediatric dental and guess what? The dentist said my son had zero cavities and his teeth was in perfect condition. I should add that they told me they could fix my son s non existent cavities but that their dental hygienist does not do cleaning for kids. The front reception was very unwelcoming. Stay away from this place. They will make up things so they can bill you for something you don t have. They also clearly do not treat kids so stay away. The only good thing that came out of the appointment was their referral.

my husband and I went to this new dentist on November 2nd. Upon arrival, the receptionist wasnt there yet, she was late and nobody was there to great us. I had time to had a look and this place is dirty and outdated. We scheduled an appointment as new clients, for just cleaning. They took x-rays and didnt do any cleaning, they sent us away with a list of things they would like to do, that sum up to $700, we did not have any procedure or the cleaning we asked for. this was a waste of time for myself as it was the only PTO I had left for the year. Then we get a letter from our insurance saying I had an extensive exam and my husband billed as existing client and an annual exam. They are trying to get money off insurance!! I hope they wont send us a bill because we will dispute. AVOID this dentistry, go somewhere else.

Dr. Patel is great and explains everything clear. I m sitting here waiting for my son to see the periodontist and an employee was talking loud and disrespectful to the manager. Not caring about patients listening to everything. Looks to me that the employee was using the victim role and doesn t like to work or be corrected. Then she comes backs into office to give her last words very unprofessional. The manager didn t want to make a scene so let her run her mouth. In life we have to be corrected because we re not perfect people.

This place is about as low quality dental care as I have ever been to. Staff, phone system, billing, everything. I noticed just now that a lot of the most current reviews are not good. The phone options dont work correctly. Brident puts you on hold indefinetly. The person in charge of billing disputes is not at work and does not return calls. Good luck if you have a billing dispute Went in for yearly exam, but they started doing tests that were not covered by my insurance. I asked them to do only what was covered and they said ok. But then I got a bill that says I owe them for the service. So I called the number and selected billing and the message says this number does not exist and to try again. The entire experience did not match the reviews that they get. I am not sure how that is, but I will not go back. Please note that a lot of the most current reviews are not good. They love you coming in and billing you but that is where the love stops. They are in disarray in all areas of the company. Local and Corp.

Would not recommend. Sat in office for 3 hours as a new patient and left disappointed. Was hoping this dental office would work out since it s around the corner from my house. They wouldn t take care of me because they somehow couldn t verify my insurance. Worst experience taking gum X- rays, my gums hurt for days (I have taken these multiple times with no issues). They were supposed to reach out to me with a dental plan for next steps to set up my deep cleaning appointment but I never heard back. Oh and I just got a bill for nothing. Will take my business elsewhere.

I would give them a ZERO star if I could. The high rating on google is such a lie. The service is horrible and the staff have no idea what they re doing. They had a new inexperienced dental hygienist who had no idea how to do a proper deep cleaning and also chipped one of my mom s teeth when she tried to floss at the end of the procedure. She also did NOT do the local antibiotic treatments in which they charged an arm and a leg for it. Nobody wants to pick up phone calls. All calls are directed to a call center and when I asked to transfer to the office, nobody picked it up.I called multiple times to complain but again nobody wants to pick up my phone calls.

Very informative dentist visit for all 3 kids. They explained the processed so that I was aware of what was being done and Dr. Chris Nguyen was able to coxed my son to get his x-rays done. I set a new patient appointment for my son and myself the morning of they cancelled two appointments last minute. I was able to reschedule for two days later. I was told I would have paperwork sent by text I called and asked twice and they didn t send morning of appointment I called and requested again and finally received the paperwork. I arrive all paperwork was already sent in and sat in the waiting room for 25 minutes after my appointment was to start with no explanation finally I was taken back and sat another ten minutes and finally left after cancelling all appointments. I would not recommend this office for the simple fact every patients time is valuable and not being on time or informing as to why during waiting period is not acceptable.

Jasmine, the office scheduler, has no idea what she is doing. She asked if I had insurance, I told her yes and gave her the plan name. It is a VERY well known, national insurer. She asks me questions as if she has no idea about this insurer, and had no idea what in network means (her office is, in fact, in network for this insurer). We didnt get past a few sentences when it became clear she had no idea what she was doing. Ill take my business elsewhere.

She makes you feel comfortable and is through but not overly aggressive. The ladies who support the whole staff regulating things from the front desk I believe are also new and seem sharp! My wife and I had been discussing going somewhere else. She has even done the research and found a place for herself though she has been going to Lowes Farm longer than I have. The turnover was too much and some of the staff were good but often too much. Today was an excellent experience so I will be staying and likely keep our son who just started getting adult dental services at Lowes Farm less than two years ago. Location and hours are very convenient!

A week before my bi-annual cleaning appointment, I was told I would have to reschedule because no dentist would be available and X-rays could not be taken that day. I had to wait 3 more weeks for an appointment. On my rescheduled first appointment of the day, I took off work and arrived 5 minutes early but was seen 15 minutes late because the dentist arrived 12 minutes late. After x-ray and cleaning the tech told me she would have the dentist come check me and I would be done. Two minutes later she returned to tell me my teeth were in such good shape I would not need to be checked by the dentist (the very reason I was rescheduled.) After 15 years and multiple changes in owners, I am looking for a new dental clinic.

Absolutely would not recommend coming here! I had an appointment set for 3/31 at 1 pm. I confirmed the appointment the day before per the office rules and even received a confirmation text the day of only to be told when I arrived that my appointment had been moved because I didn t confirm the appointment...except I absolutely did and had the call log that proved I spoke with someone. So the elephant in the room was that THEY forgot to confirm the appointment and weirdly didn t want to take responsibility for it. I ve worked front desk before, and completely understand these things happen! What I don t understand why it was implied that I was somehow lying about a call log and a confirmation text I m able to produce, because they listen to all the calls AND why I didn t receive so much as an apology when it s clear the issue was not on my end. They were able to see me an hour later, but it really wasn t something I had time to sit around and wait for in the middle of a work day when I live 30 minutes away. I m extremely disappointed in the level of customer service I ve received here and will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere.

Very friendly, professional staff. And I appreciate that they are consistent with Covid safety mandates. My treatment needs were thoroughly explained. My only complaint is that I would like to see the facility being better taken cared of by whomever owns and operates it, example: Scuffed marks, nail holes in walls; cracked coverings on dental chairs; house cleaning supplies ( mop buckets, mops) should be well hidden from view of patients. I absolutely DO NOT like dentists they have always just cared about money and that s it. But from the time you walk in to the time you walk out you know this office is completely different. They actually care about you and your well being and health. From Shelby who does billing to the assistant Michelle who keeps you calm and explains things as they go to the doctor herself Dr.Collier they are truly a family based office even Dee and Karla come around and check on you as well. The doctor periontologist attempted to insist that I receive an optional treatment along with a simple extraction and when I refused he refused to perform the extraction, after he said he would. I had a tooth abscess and was a first time patient and they got me in the same morning. Everyone there was extremely helpful and very nice. They made sure I was feeling better by the time I left. I will definitely start bringing my kids here from now on! Thank you Lowes Farm Dental Care!!

This honestly the best dentist I have ever had. Veronica is amazing tech. She explains things very well and Dr. Hernandez always makes sure all your questions are answered. My entire family and many of my friends only go o this dentist.

One of the best dental experiences ever. I am terrified of the dentist because of poor previous experience. I had to have 2 teeth extracted due to severe nerve damage and pain, and I was once again terrified. They talked me through the whole thong and I didn t feel a thing. Mary (the assistant) and the dentist Dr. Hernandez were both fantastic. The front office/billing ladies were also great!

They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Hernandez explained everything she was doing and answered all of my questions. Moreover, I was not pressured into getting services that I do not want nor need. I like that. One recommendation which is not a reflection on their core service, is to get an efficient WIFI for the waiting room.

Ive been going to Lowes Farm dental (Mayfield Dental before they closed) for years. Ive always had a positive experience but this visit seems rushed and my cleaning wasnt as thorough as past visits. I was told that my hygienist was a temp so hopefully my next visit will be back to normal.
