I had the worse experience with their staff member Cindy. When I went to inquiry about my family 3 unused burial plots and how can I claim to resell. Cindy was rude, condescending, didnt want to help me, stop talking to me, started screening and stop taking my calls. Cindy made it clear that cook Walden will keep my family unused burial plots even if they stay empty. I will tell all my friends, business partners not do business with Cook-Walden. They arent honest, they overcharge for their services. Its not right for them to keep my families burial plots. They used to didnt allow Black people to be bury there, I think they still have some racism. So now they get to keep 3 plots they can resell for more profits on them.

I was so sad to learn that Perry Mitchell was no longer working here. He was wonderful and helped my family when my father and my mother in law passed. We had bought a bench and needed to finalize it. I m super grateful that I met Hannah Lovel. Hannah not only took the time and interest to help design an amazing bench that is such an emotional purchase, but she answered so many questions and provided me the confidence that the bench will be perfect when it comes in.

My father passed away over a year ago and still no stone add to his gravesite as we ordered before he was put to rest. Advised in January they messed up and never ordered and it would be rushed. My mom goes in today and was told by a manager that it wasn t ever ordered. Or wasn t paid for! Funny how when provided with receipts and proved she did and all of a sudden it was paid. Grave site had a good size water leak took months to get fixed, repeat follow ups and fixed pipe but decided after tearing the grass up on top of my dads grave they would put died grace (see picture) Horrible experience. If you want lies and poor maintenance this is the place.

We have driven past Cook-Walden for years, noticing how well they kept their cemetery and surrounding grounds. So now that the time has come for my Mom to make her arrangements, Cook Walden was her choice. We sat down with Dave and had all of our questions answered along with a thorough film presentation of everything that Cook-Walden has to offer. It was a very professional and relaxed environment. I would recommend them to any one.

Cook Walden tells you that it s under warranty for life but this is not the case here. They refuse to replace a small picture unless we pay 500.00 This place takes advantage of you knowing that you are going through a difficult time having to say goodbye they totally nickel and dime you..900.00 for you and your family to carry your loved one to the back of the car you drive to the backyard and you again carry your loved one to the gravesite ready for burial and at the end you have paid over 12,000 for them to want 500 more to replace a photo is very sad. Absolutely there is something wrong with this photo because they have people that have been there way longer and that photo If you look at the reply to this post you will see that someone has reached out. I did exactly what they asked me to do and I am still waiting on a return call. It s so sad that these places take advantage of you. I will not stop until they replace his photo for free it s not like my brother is the only one that is laid to rest there, I also have my daughter that I paid $13,000 my uncle that we paid $12,000 for and my aunt that we paid $15,000 for and none of their photos look like my brothers. I will post photos when I go visit this Sunday, 07/21/2024 it is my daughter s birthday and my brother s birthday is 07/19/2024 Edit: After seeing the review below someone from Dignity contacted me, traveled to the location where I had a problem and investigated what went on. The person from Dignity (Kyle) was professional, helpful, and did get the issue resolved. However, the location never closed the loop with me and did not apologize either to me or to the widow involved. This is the only Dignity location I have had a problem with, and even after this issue was resolved I would still be very apprehensive to use this location. Orignial Review: They charge you for things and pocket the money. They charged a widow for an officiant s fee. Never paid the officiant. Never refunded the widow. Never responded to the officiant s multiple calls calling for them to refund the widow. Beware. Still not a word!!!

I didn t receive a call back so I called. The woman I spoke to was rude, had a horrible attitude, basically called me a liar when I said I spoke to someone in their office yesterday. She stated phone lines were down so I couldn t have. I did. The lady in the office basically wanted to argue. I have never been spoken to in that manner. She does not need to be speaking to families especially when dealing with funeral/burial affairs.

Diana Jackson was the most helpful, efficient, thoughtful and professional representative for Cook Walden when my father in law had a concern for his funeral plan. Although Ms. Jackson was not his assigned representative (the assigned rep caused a lot of worry and sleepless nights) Ms. Jackson met with my husband and father in law on their unexpected visit and treated them with dignity, respect and great concern. She wanted no credit for herself but I am so appreciative of the way she treated my family. She needs to be promoted UP. A GREAT asset to Cook Walden.

Please temper your expectations when dealing with these people. Be prepared to be treated like a number, as opposed to a grieving family. They will not get back to you with any pertinent information, nor will they be responsive in any of the ways that they claim that they will be. be prepared to do your own research at home, and allow these people to continue in the same vein of mediocrity that they seem to have continued on for years.

Met with Ms Stephanie Cantu and in a matter of a very short time, she had given us a tour of the entire cemetery and gave us comparative prices as to each section/area. We then sat with her and she explained details regarding cremation remains niches which can contain either 1 urn or two urns. We were pleased with her offers of different discounts available for our family and our beloved brother, Ernest. We bought our area immediately because we were certain Ernest would have loved being near a beautiful pool of water with a gorgeous fountain flowing into same in his new home. We thought our selecting the above mentioned niche; area; size; selecting the 2-urn space to include my mother being housed with our brother, would have been extremely sad and confusing. Ms Cantu was personable, professional, knowledgeable and informative (yet, extremely friendly and compassionate) and answered all our questions with empathy and concern regarding our available budget. Ms Cantu made this entire meeting about my brother and I want to give her my sincere gratitude and appreciation for her treatment of our family and for my beautiful brother s new home. God bless the entire staff at Cook-Walden Capital Parks.

Office staff is nice but carry no weight with making things happen. The individual that sold the plots to us walks around like the dead no action. We have had flowers taken, told to limit our flowers to the requirements done that, and they still have no control over their landscaping people. They still pulled up newly bought flowers. They drove over the plot and ran their tires into our burial ground of our beloved grandchild with no respect for the dead even though they had tons of room to ride the tractor due to the unused plots that are still for sale. My granddaughter 11, was with me while we were there visiting my granddaughter 11 who passed. The workers stood there staring at us and gave my granddaughter the middle finger . These are the type of people they employ the last landscape guy told me people take flowers because these people are dead and don t need them uneducated individuals who don t know that these plots are real estate and taking something off someone s property is theft and illegal. We are not the only people who complain and have had to endure the harassment of these people. So many other people love ones are being disregarded by the office and the lawns people. Don t buy here because once you buy it s yours and no refund, you will have to sell your plot. Update: Saturday June the 8th 2024 just bought $70 dollars worth of flowers on Friday June 7th, 2024. I went into the office showed them what I bought these asked specifically if they meet the requirements was told yes. They took a picture to make sure everyone knows not to pick them up. Literally, the next day. They came to put dirt down and took my flowers didn t even notified me or give them back.. just got rid of them. I am so upset with the management of this company. What is going on with this place.. this is an on going mess we spent thousands of dollars and this is how they treat people. Update :June 9th flowers were placed back at the burial site but not the flowers I paid for, as you can see the red and yellow are the ones they placed but my original flowers are gone. I m thankful but does that fix the problem that the lawns people don t have proper management making sure that this doesn t happened again as it has been happening to others.

My husband and I had an appointment today to pre-plan our funeral arrangements for the future. We have recently seen friends and loved ones struggle with the decisions immediately after the death of a family member and I wanted to take those decisions and the cost burden off of our children. I feel like thats how I can love them one last time. We met with our Family Service Counselor, Marri Andrews, and she made the entire process much easier than I had expected. She patiently answered all of our questions (I had many and I tend to be awkward in unusual circumstances). She thoughtfully and professionally guided us in choosing what we each wanted. She helped us take a scary and uncomfortable conversation to a well thought out plan. We discussed everything from caskets and pretty little urns to graveside services and letters to loved ones. She even explained what happens prior to and after a cremation. I left feeling like a weight had been lifted from my heart. If this is something that you have considered doing, just make the appointment. Lots of non-judgmental information in a very nice setting with the kindest people. We are very pleased with the kind and professional care that we received.

I have had many family members relocate to the Austin area and we had been wondering about the possibility of relocating a loved one who is located in a Mausoleum in New York. We did not know where to turn to but my Aunt and I decided to walk into the Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home hoping to receive some simple guidance on how to move forward so that we could share the news with our family. Instead of the 2 minute quick answer we expected without an appointment, we had the pleasure of being introduced to Stephanie Cantù. Stephanie took the time to understand our situation, explained the process, expected timeline, potential costs, and potential issues we may face with in New York. After a detailed discussion, we scheduled a second meeting where Stephanie made multiple calls with us to New York to help begin the process. Her professionalism and care were top notch as were her patience as the folks back in New York were not easy to deal with. We are grateful for her help!

During the preneeds meeting, Kelsey said the 4 lotus figures on the corners of the casket could be taken off and given to us. My brother and I agreed it would be a nice remembrance of dad; one for our mom and three of us siblings, however we never received the lotuses. We also asked for the background of dad s photo be changed to a color that would complement the wooden frame for the canvas photo. That was not done, the background was still the white wall he stood in front of. During the service, Kelsey had issues getting the slide show to work. I was not notified in a timely manner that it was not going to work until I asked her to start playing it. Luckily, my husband was able to help her get it working but it did not start on schedule. The smaller framed photo of dad was done on very low quality paper. The photo behind the glass had several bends in it. 9 days ago, I asked Kelsey when we would be receiving dad s death certificates. She said she would follow up with the cemetery in California and let me know. I haven t heard from her since. Two weeks after dad s burial, his grave looked awful; the flowers were dead and the dirt had sunken in. I contacted Anh and she said she would take care of it. That was 8 days ago, it still has not been taken care of. My family is highly unsatisfied with the lack of technical support, lack of follow through, lack of follow up and the state at which my dad s grave has been left. Update 2/13 Thanks to Rick for addressing our concerns. We are satisfied with how he remedied our issues.

My mother suddenly and unexpectedly passed away last summer, which was very devastating and stressful. I had hoped Cook-Walden would be professional and ease the stress of planning a service for my mother. However, that did not happen. It took a little over 1.5 weeks from the first meeting to have a second meeting to finalize and select a service date. I had attempted to reach the Senior Funeral Director, Brandy, several times and I either didn t receive a reply and/or when she did answer the phone she was very rushed as she was busy . However, the worst part is the private and personal photos I had for a digital memory at the service were shared to people who were not her client nor in attendance at the service without my permission or knowledge. This is a HUGE violation of trust and privacy. I was not asked if the personal and private service photos of my mother could be shared with someone who was not her client and this is totally not okay at all. I would highly recommend working with a funeral home who values your trust and privacy which is not Cook-Walden.

First, let me start by saying that Joseph is the most amazing funeral director EVER! That man is the epitome of professionalism. He is perfection from the way he presents, to how he manages your loved one s care and service. My grandmother would ve been so proud of how she looked and the manner in which her service was conducted. She got everything she wanted. I couldn t have asked for anyone better. It s hard to impress me but Joseph did it. I had no criticism of his work, whatsoever. He has, truly, earned my respect and admiration. I did have a little trouble on the cemetery side but Nate helped me to fix things that happened before he was employed here. He joined the team after my grandmother s service. I really appreciated his help sorting everything out. He did a better job than I could ve ever imagined. I m beyond grateful. He s highly intelligent, well connected and does an amazing job doing what s best for you and your family. Not to mention, he has a spectacular personality! You can t help but love the guy. I m working with him now to continue planning for other relatives, including myself. There s no doubt in my mind that I m in good hands and my wishes will be honored. Together, these two are the ultimate dream team. If you re on the fence about who to do business with and choose for your loved one s service, look no further. I recently loss my father and decided to have Cook-Walden Funeral Home handle his services. My family worked closely with Stephanie and she was incredible with fulfilling everything that my family wanted and more which turned out to be an incredible funeral service. Stephanie made a great effort to focus on the details that made up who my father was and exemplified them throughout the funeral service from his burial plot to his spectacular vault. I couldn t be more pleased by the way my father was laid to rest. Although my father s funeral service was overall outstanding, there were some issues that I experienced leading up to his funeral. Two days before his funeral I stopped by the funeral home and noticed my father s picture nor his gravesite service were mentioned on the welcoming screen unlike the rest of the funeral home s clients. To be honest, this was quite disappointing since my father s funeral is less than two days away and my family has worked their hardest in fulfilling all that has been requested from the funeral home financially to give my Dad an honorable service. We were told numerous times from staff that it would be updated but did not see a change until the day before which is greatly saddening and unsatisfactory.

First things first - Nate was empathetic and respectful from the moment my mom and I walked in and throughout the several visits this process takes. For anyone else who has been through this before, you know that this is rarely the case. Somehow the folks that work at the cemetery and funeral services see this as a job and dont realize that this is the worst day in our lives. But Nate got it and he treated us accordingly. Nate was also prepared. When Mom and I walked into the room, he had the printed contracts, deeds, etc. He was familiar with our familys details and how he could best help us. Again, those who have been through this before will know how VERY rare that is. Lastly, I will bring up Nates thoroughness to help us understand our options and decide on the best option for our family. He did not pressure us or make us feel uncomfortable, he simply laid out the options and let my mom and I decide. Another rare trait in this industry. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Nate at Cook-Walden Capital Parks, and I know you will too. Amanda Robertson

Edit: After seeing the review below someone from Dignity contacted me, traveled to the location where I had a problem and investigated what went on. Beware.

10 out of 5! We were blessed to have such wonderful team members at Cook Walden who helped support us during the funeral of a recent loved one. We spoke to a few throughout the experience but Tracy and Kazia were our main point of contact for the pre and onsite funeral logistics. This was our first experience with a loved ones death and they truly made the funeral process seamless and relaxing. We were able to be present during the funeral, without having to think of anything. The workers and extra support from the gentleman who we often saw at the front door welcoming guests in the building were with us onsite and supported us with taking our flower arrangements to the site and didnt rush us through any step or process. This doesnt truly reflect the incredible experience we had but hopefully it allows others to read about how incredible the team is and how accommodating everyone is at this cemetery location! THANK YOU ALL.

Never bury your loved one here. They do not care about you or your family member. The man who gave us a tour of the grounds brought us to the children s section where families had left tokens of their love and memories; he apologized for this and stated how tacky it looked mentioning he would be having the ground keeper remove it soon. Not to mention my mother was left a message by Cook Walden stating that someone offered to help us pay for the headstone of my little brother. When we arrived and asked for details on this matter we were told the sticky note with the information on it had been lost. We never found out who this beautiful person was nor did we receive the help. Everytime we stepped foot in their building we felt nothing but cold unempathetic interactions as they were mostly interested in finding how much you were willing to spend

This company is horrible to deal with. I bought burial lots and other services for my parents through Minh Anh in March 2023, the sales person. She signed a bench contract without my consent and Ive been getting bills every month. I have tried calling the billing department who kept telling me the account needs to be closed by Cook-Walden. When trying to call Minh Anh to close the account, she never responded to calls or texts because she had made her commission. What a terrible human being who cares nothing for anyone once she made the sales. I tried calling Cook-Walden funeral home directly that the sales contract was never signed or agreed by me, and the contract needs to be closed because I keep getting bills and every time, someone says they will bring the problem up to someone else and then nothing is done. My parents in law also bought burial lots package and their credit card kept getting charged random amounts with no explanations. They have spent hours trying to resolve their issues with no solutions, no refunds, and not a single person at Cook-Walden helped or resolve their problems. Their credit card was charged incorrectly which amounted to thousands of dollars, and there is not a single person who could help. We regret purchasing the burial lots at Cook-Walden, regret meeting Minh Anh who never responded to our calls or texts to try to resolve the issues. This company needs to be sued and Minh Anh needs to be fired, never to work in sales again. Im leaving this review so others take my experience and my parents in law experience to decide NOT to use Cook-Walden or Minh Anh for any funeral services. Its been nothing but headaches and stress and loss of money with this company. Do Not use Cook-Walden for your loved ones funeral needs.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NO ONE TAKES ACCOUNTABILITY FOR DELAYS. I wish I could give ZERO Stars. It took them over a year to finish my mom s grave ledger and when it arrived it was not done correctly and the picture was wrong. I wish they had informed us that their vendors are in CHINA. I would have never went through Cook Walden- Dignity Memorial had I known they don t make grave ledgers and head stones in the USA. There was no clear communication and kept changing the estimated time of delivery. I dealt with Sindy and Frazier and these people keep blaming their foreign vendors instead of taking accountability on themselves. The GM never followed up with me even after I told Frazier to have him call me. These people are horrible and I wish no one has to go through what my family and I went through. This whole process was horrible and they take full money upfront but they can t deliver on time. Very unprofessional people. Please BE AWARE THAT THESE PEOPLE DON T CARE ABOUT THE DECEASED AND THEIR FAMILY AND USE VENDORS FROM CHINA TO MAKE GRAVE LEDGERS AND HEADSTONES.

I didn t ever expect to write a review on a funeral home, but Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville did a remarkable job helping our family through the final arrangements for our loved one. Brandy helped us make selections, coordinated our services, and helped with numerous tasks such as helping to write the obituary and implementing special requests. Our family member was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. Brandy arranged to paint the vault the right color of blue and put a silver star on the lid. That brought smiles to all the faces of family and friends. Though we didn t request it, I also noticed she used cowboy colors on the table to display photos. Her attention to all details made a tough day very special. I want to thank all the folks at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home for making a difficult day a little easier.

These pictures were taken today (6/14/23) at 7:16 pm at the Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery (Good Shepherd area) My mother mentioned that she was concerned about her Safety because of the OVERGROWN Oriental Arborvitae. She mentioned that she has seen homeless people sleeping and hanging out there. She mentioned that she has expressed her concern to the front office and that they have reassured her over and over that it is on their to-do list. Its been over a year since she first went to the office to express her concern and nothing has been done. This concerned me and should concern anyone that has family in this area. As we were leaving we noticed a homeless person ride up in their bike towards the back area. I also noticed beer cans scattered around the Good Shepard statue which seemed to be very disrespectful. I know that this area is sold out. And it may not be a big concern for this funeral home. But families and the people that have been laid to rest in this area still deserve Respect!

Also, everything we mentioned that we wanted for our loved ones service was set forth with great care and detail. She knew our vision exactly. The flower arrangement, that we gave very little info for, was one of the most gorgeous arrangements I have ever seen. We walked into the chapel for the first time and were in tears or how perfect it was and she made our visions come to life. From the decor, to the memorial video, and the pictures set out, it was better than we could have imagined. It has been a difficult last few months for our family. However, Ms. Minh Anh (funeral coordinator) and the funeral director at Cook-Walden ensured that both my aunt and uncle (unrelated) had a beautiful and respectful service. Ms. Minh Anh was incredibly knowledgeable about Buddhist funeral customs and fluent in English and Vietnamese, which was comforting for both older Vietnamese speaking relatives and younger English speaking relatives. My mom was grateful that Ms. Minh Anh walked her through everything step by step and was reliable, communicative, and accessible from beginning to end whenever there were concerns. She also assisted with preparing decor and furniture for the Buddhist funeral. Since our family had to leave to go to the temple after the casket lowering, we could not see the grave being covered with soil/grass turf. For this reason, we were super touched that Ms. Minh Anh sent us a photo afterward of the covered grave site to our family members so that they were updated and reassured. Ms. Minh Anh shared that she wanted to help other families with the funeral process after her dad passed. This was evident in the thought and care she put into the funeral service, and we are forever grateful for her, the funeral director, and Cook-Walden.

This is very much long overdue but we received a great service by Joe here at Cook Walden In November of 21 , when my dad was cremated by another place and they did such a bad job at working with us to get his Urn we ordered, then told us it was our fault for not calling when we actually had a lot over weeks or months and they kept ignoring us. We came to Cook Walden to finally put my dad in a proper Urn and in his final resting place on grounds and Joe helped us immensely with everything. We had a great funeral for him here and everything was done easily. Highly recommend out of an unfortunate circumstance, the last thing that you should have to deal with is poor service like I did at the other place we went to. Edit for 8/23/22: This funeral place maybe nice looking but staff waste your time. I was asking about headstone for my mom, was told to send them quote to see if they can match. Sent this email out to them and never got an reply. Then recently, sent again and didnt get a response till 2 months later & this only due to my dad making payment for his plot & asked Ernest about it. If it wasnt brought up, they would never reach out. We were told they would give us a deal. Well we all wasted our time to go there, only for then to tell us they cant give us a deal. If I could re-bury my mom somewhere else, due to hassle, stress & poor experience. I would in a heartbeat. This place is trash or at least trash to me & my family. Edit Update: Another issue we came upon. My mother was never given a temporary name plate. I brought this up to them, when they finally put one out for her, 2 months later, they put my name on name plate instead of my mothers. Even though this place has a nice cemetery, the professionalism is disappointing. They showed us, all they care about is getting our money and not respect to us or mom. As much as I love where my mom is at and how well kept cemetery is. This Funeral Home was terrible. The overall experience and interaction with director, felt like we didnt matter. Then on top of that, the constant stress they kept putting us through for weeks, due to their own unprofessionalism and mistakes. They had everything they needed to complete process for my moms burial/funeral but kept on making mistakes on trying to process it through another insurance that we never mentioned to them. So for over 2 weeks, we kept on getting calls on this, when we kept on telling them, We are NOT going through that insurance. We are going through my dads job and every 2-3days wed get a call for same thing, them screwing up. That one day, the director called and was basically trying to force me to sign papers we did not need to sign. I told him no, that Ill figure it out. It took me less than 15 minutes, to call insurance company and talk to them, in which they told me that No One from any funeral home had contacted them for claim number. So I called back to Cook-Walden and gave then instructions on what to do. So in the end, what they were suppose to handle, I end up figuring out for them. Everything on out end was correct but they kept screwing up. What makes me even more upset, is cause of their own mistakes on not properly contacting insurance company. They try to make it like it was us for reason they werent getting paid. And cause of that, for a week or a bit more, they left my moms grave site unattended too, with old decaying flowers. Once I figured it all out, the next day, they surprisingly had our death certificates and my moms grave site was fixed up. They disrespected my mom cause they did not know how to do anything. I will be contacting corporate for the stress they put us through while in midst of my mother just passing away, planning funeral & after we buried her.

Both my father and my stepfather were buried in the wrong spaces; my father in 1991 and my stepfather in 2018. The cemetery took care of moving them to the correct spaces both times, but it shouldn t have happened at all and the cemetery staff should be grateful that my family has a sense of humor about these things. Also, the date of death on my stepdad s marker was incorrect. Again, it was taken care of but shouldn t have happened at all. I m not sure how often these mistakes happen, or why they happen, but I can t recommend this particular cemetery because of these issues.

I will say when I visited today after being gone for 9 years, I was shocked how the grounds look unkept, the once beautiful tall shrubs that lined the graves were now small, very thin and not trimmed at all. A lot of the graves had very old and faded flowers. Most of the grass was so dried that it hurt walking in sandals. Large broken tree branches were laying on the grounds. Not sure what is going on, but it definitely seems like there is a lack of care taking.

Even though our service ended, they let us and all of our guests stay in the main area for as long as we wanted. Reasonably priced and even though we didnt have it they provided an urn for the funeral. I highly recommend this funeral home because of their friendliness and their helpfulness.

Recently I decided to start the planning of my services. Helen Song Fortin has been a great help during the entire process. I was completely lost in what to do and how to go about it. She was very patient and understanding. She took her time explaining my different options. I never felt rushed or pressured at making my decisions. She was wonderful to work with.

Me and my daughters lost a very big family member recently. I got informations from someone about Cook-Walden Capital parks and Helen Song Fortin. Helen was so kind and helpful to prepare for our funeral service. Everytime I contacted her, she was so kind and gave me detailed informations. It was a fortune to see her in Austin before my familiys saddness. Also Cook-walden service was very nice. The Funeral director Kesley was all kind and did their best to console us doing their services. She gave the proper options for my family and tried to do work for us very quickly. I am still very thankful for their memorial services and dedicated minds

I would like to sincerely thank the staff at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. We have now held two memorial services for both parents under a year at the Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. The entire staff helped tremendously with both memorial services. They were all very compassionate, informative, professional and respectful throughout the whole process. We are so grateful to Helen Song Fortin for helping our family so much from the very beginning when we were pre-planning both funerals and making sure we fully understood all plans and options during the planning stages. She then made sure everything went according to our plans and all details were taken care of for both memorial services. Shannon Elliott was also present for both memorial services and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. We were definitely in good hands and we are so thankful for all the support we received.

We lost both of our parents last month, and Cook-Walden, especially our funeral director, Shannon, did a wonderful job supporting our family through the viewing and the funeral service. At all times, we felt that our parents were given the utmost respect and dignity, and that the staff at Cook-Walden did a great job of navigating last minute demands from church and extended family. They also helped us with arranging the photo memorial and the live streaming services so that family and friends around the world could participate.

My husbands memorial service went very well and the staff (Shannon, in particular) were professional and kept us well-informed. I recommend that everyone take care of pre-arrangements so that your family doesnt need to bear that burden during their time of grief. I am very happy that is what we did in 2013. It certainly equated to a non-stressful time at the time of my husbands death and memorial services.

I just wanted to give a big Praise and kudos to Anh Tran, She went above and beyond her expectations, when dealing with my family when we lost my little brother. From beginning to end she continued to show such grace, love and gratitude when working with us. She put herself in our shoes, and did not see work but seen a family who were mourning, and acted as a family mbr in the time of need. And for that I love her greatly for it. I will always see her as family in my eyes and recommend anyone to her. Thank you so much Anh you were more than awesome! Woman, an may God continue to bless you for your awesome work.

I am so grateful for Cook-Walden stepping up to the plate at the time our family needed them the most. I was so comfortable working with Shannon Elliott and Jim Panzarino. They were beyond patient with me when hard decisions had to be made. Jim kept in constant communication with me in the most discreet way during the services and throughout the funeral. My mom was in the Air Force and Jim honored her by wearing a blue suit and his own Air Force pin.

I received excellent service from Loni when my husband passed in January. She assisted me in getting things set up to get him interred at Ft Sam Houston on April 29th. Yesterday, 5/4/21; I met with Perry and Loni to preplan my funeral. They were both so helpful and explained everything I had questions on. I did not want my sons to have to make these decisions. I can only say thank you for the assistance and care of both Loni and Perry. Their assistance has been invaluable to me. Sincerely, Karon Nichols
