Let me preface by saying that after my last breakfast place and disappointing experience I had set my expectations lower to prepare myself. What a colossal mistake. This place blew the previous experience out of the not just the water but the ocean! Pricing was similar but the food was significantly better. Portion sizes made me feel like I was getting more than I should. And even though they were packed, my food came out quickly and was nice and hot. You could easily tell this is a local favorite. Staff is friendly and attentive. Noise level moderate given all of the patrons. Music was at a reasonable volume. And you can pay by scanning the QR code on your bill. I m definitely coming back and I m bringing reinforcements to help me finish my plate. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available

Had a delicious brunch with our friends here. The service was good and the food came out quickly even though it seemed like they had a full house. You certainly get your moneys worth here because the portion sizes are perfect for taking some home with you. Even the kids portions are enough to share with multiple kids. I really liked this place. It wasn t a big place but it wasn t too crowded at the time that we arrived on a Sunday afternoon which was great so it didn t take long to get our food. Our server was excellent. I had pancakes and a Giggle Juice Mimosa. It was all really good!!

I have been a few times now. This is now one of my 2 breakfast spots. The food has always been good and the service is great. I usually get the sausage links, which are awesome, with eggs and home potatoes. But honestly, I have always enjoyed whatever I have ordered. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the coffee. It is such a critical part of my breakfast experience. And weak coffee dulls that experience.

First time visit came because the name Maple bacon intrigued me. I visit several resturants looking for a great first time visit and great food. I stood at the bar with employees walking past me not one stopped to offer to serve me. I stopped on lady asked if I was in the right place for to-go ordering she said yes let me know when youre ready to order. I told her I was a first time visitor after which she informed me the bacon is maple flavor just regular thick cut bacon. I must say I was disappointed in hearing this cause it was the Maple bacon advertisement and desciption of bacon being cured with maple syrup that drove me here. Sadly, she never came back to assist. I then got the attention of an older gentleman preparing mimosas. He in turn stopped Kathy who took my order. I changed the order to dine in since Id already waited my fair share of time. Food came out looked good but no butter for the waffles. I had to stop different persons requesting silverware, napkins, salt and pepper and butter. Mind you this was having to stop several waitpersons to get everything I needed. At this point I requested a to-go bag, paid and hobbled out on my walker. I have eaten at many resturants that were busy but you never ignore customers that have been obviously waiting to be served. As a wait person you dont not swing back around once the food is served to confirm everything is OK. I give this place a 2 only because I finally received my food but was unable to enjoy it because of the poor customer service. By the way another lady came in after me had the same experience and she was standing at the Pick Up station. I drove from McKinney for this disappointing experience. Not Maple Bacon resturant this experience truly saddens me.

My hubby and I had a great experience here. There was a minor mix up in my order of breakfast meat but Melissa, our server, was on top of things. She informed the kitchen, and my bacon came out in minutes- I was surprised how they remedied it so quickly. I offered to just go ahead and add it to the bill, and she said don t worry about it. That is some refreshingly great service right there. She was attentive, had a very welcoming personality. The food was absolutely delicious. The entree selection is vast. Country Fried Steak was recommended and did not disappoint and the breakfast with the Pumpkin pancakes with pumpkin pie was delectable! We will definitely be back with the whole family.

I visited Maple Bacon Restaurant on a busy Sunday for breakfast and brunch. After placing our order, we waited 40 minutes before checking with our waiter about our food. He quickly went to the kitchen and discovered they were experiencing network issues, so our order hadn t been processed. Despite the initial delay, the waiter was extremely courteous, apologizing multiple times and even offering us a discount for the inconvenience. We ordered the corned beef skillet and the Cambridge, and both dishes were good with generous portions. Overall, it was a decent experience. The excellent service and tasty food made up for the initial hiccup. We ll likely give it another try, hopefully on a less busy day.

I eat here often, and I know quite a few people that dine here often as well. So, when I ordered takeout for my company (only 5 orders) and they charged me an 18% gratuity I was not happy! I even expressed to the waitresses that I could of just had it delivered, why would you charge me 18% when I picking up?! One young lady said, I dont know, its the system. Thats ridiculous, and will be inquiring about this charge further.

Ordered through Door Dash. Was so excited. Imagine receiving chicken fried steak and biscuits with no gravy - none - even though I paid for extra. I called the restaurant who insisted it was the dashers responsibility to look through the order. Not only is this a lie- it s illegal for dashers to look through food. The bags were stapled and you re blaming the dasher. When I asked to speak to a manager, she again referred me to DoorDash. There was no responsibility for them failing too bag the correct order. Yes, I got a refund through DoorDash. I did not however get to eat the meal I ordered nor did the restaurant itself offer to do anything to make it right or to encourage my continued patronage. Shame on you, Maple bacon. It might not make a difference to you, but your lack of accountability has lost you a customer.

Food and staff are great. Chicken tenders crispy on outside, juicy inside. Waffles have lovely flavor. Pastries have delicately flavored fillings and are not overly sweetened (without the added topping syrups and whip). Poutine is perfectly hot and melt-y. Only letdown is the maple syrup isn t real. Would expect a place called Maple and Bacon to have real maple syrup. This is our 3rd or 4th visit, and we will keep returning (we ll just skip the syrup).

Decided to have breakfast here, walked in was greeted warmly and taken to our seat. Servers walked past us several times, no one said anything. Servers were standing around talking and laughing. After 10 mins, I got up walked up to 2 male servers and asked who had our side and if we were going to be served. When we walked, in we did noticed we were the only blacks, so I started to feel as though this was a racial issue. However, mins later other blacks came in. Weve been there several times and the food is good. However, the last visit I ordered the Farmers Skillet. Its supposed to come with 3 eggs but only had 2.. I didnt think anything about it until we were ready to leave but the menus were already taken away. I looked at the menu on the internet when I got home and, sure enough, it said that it came with 3eggs. Its a very pricey menu item ($19.00) so there should be no excuse for shorting the customer of ingredients. If it werent for this obvious and extreme difference in what was served, I would rate them 5 stars.

We were seated in Stacy N. s section and were utterly ignored for 15 excruciating minutes server didn t even bother to greet us! The service was abysmal. To make matters worse, I slipped on the wet floor on my way to the restroom because there was NO WET FLOOR SIGN! Friday breakfast hours are somewhat busy. The food is good. Plenty of options. The menu is huge! They serve so much food from breakfast to lunch. I tried the Migas which was good. The salsa is tasty. The potatoes were a hit tho. The seasoning is spicy on the potatoes. Maybe a skillet dish would be yummy here. The chicken and apple waffles were a hit too. The coffee not a hit tho. I disliked the vanilla latte but thats ok. The blueberry cheesecake pancake is yummy. It def seems like a fast food type of brunch spot. Nothing really seemed fresh besides the eggs. The coffee beans were bland. The veggies on the migas didnt have much flavor to it, the oj isnt fresh either. The reason for the stars off was due to the uncleanliness of the restaurant. The floors were so nasty. I believe we came after the breakfast rush when things were slowing down maybe? But the booths were uncomfortable cus the booth is far from table in some sections & then you can see all the dirtiness on the floor. Just brings the mood down. But our server was friendly. This place was a choice of spontaneity. Pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food is what really surprised me. Its my bet they make everything in-house. The wait here can be long on a Sunday. For couples or a group of four, it can be up to 30 minutes to get seated. For a bigger group, it can be easily more than an hr. The seating is fairIy close to one another, a lot of open space. I got the chicken apple dumplings waffles and a coffee. The latte was fine, very sweet. The meal was good too, but since it was a lot of food, it got cold fairly easily, and the waffles were a little on the harder side. I also got to try some pancakes, and they were very tasty.

We ate here for the first time today, we had been excited to try this place for a while!. Service was so bad y all. We saw our waitress twice. Once to get our order, she asked for drink and food order at the same time. Then actually that was it. We spent 20 minutes trying to flag someone down so we could pay and leave. Food was average, very instagrammable in appearance, but waffle and French toast were dry, you could tell bacon had been cooked and out for a while. It was our first weekend off together in while and we were really let down by Maple Bacon. We ll prob just stick to Norma s or First Watch from now on. tried Maple Bacon for the first time today, i will say over all it was a great place for a meal. Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal so i am a tough judge on breakfast. i got blueberry pancakes and eggs, bacon and saugage. the saugage links were more like small smoked saugages and they were good. slightly spicy and good flavor. the country potatoes had a great seasoning. the scrambled eggs were just ok, very small pieces like it was the last of the eggs. the blueberry pancakes were very good. the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable but it took a while to get a coffee refill. the menu is a wide variety of the usual but with a little flare, some interesting items that i will try when i come back. check this place out, its worth the price.

Update: windsor poutine is still awesome! Chicken parm was huge and great. Tuesday at 11 was no wait! The scrambled eggs were ok but the pancakes are still great! We had a birthday in our party and she got a slice of cheesecake with a candle and singing! We had a bunch of people with us, so our wait was a little longer but it was so worth it! The Canadian poutine was awesome and it will be very hard to get anything but strawberry cheesecake french toast. Mike was awesome as well. Thanks!!!

The food was great. Huge sizes .even the kids meals can be spilt because the portions are huge . So prices match what you are getting. Food tasted good . How ever the drinks are horrible . Every persons drink tasted so gross and we all got different drinks. Even the soda was bad. And everyone ordered something different yet everyone was running to the bathroom right after . The restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean and nice and staff was nice as well.

Don t order to-go. The food is good, but I ve ordered to-go 4 times, and 3 of them were missing food. This latest one they gave my food away to the wrong person, and they did remake it - which was great - however even after waiting another 20 minutes longer to get my food, there was a $16 plate missing from the bags. At this point, I ve learned my lesson and will stop coming to this restaurant. It s a shame because their food is good - just too disorganized.

Ruby was great and the Philly omelette was delicious. I would recommend Maple Bacon for breakfast! Very small complaint about checkout... The QR checkout process on the bill is annoying, just adds online steps to pay and the system ended up not working today. After seeing me struggle for a few minutes, Ruby came by with a handheld CC machine. Much easier to checkout for me. But overall, Ill definitely be back!

Everything was great! The brunch menu has tons of options. Come hungry because each plate is tough to finish by yourself. Some plates come with a slice of pie, pastry, or a donut as a free side lol. Only complaint is the womens bathroom according to my wife. Its like they tried to fit two stalls into a single occupancy bathroom and her knees hit the stall door. Other than that, well definitely be back

Tired the eggs Benedict, hollandaise sauce was lacking flavor and eggs on top were boiled and dry and not runny. 2/10 Pancakes seemed rushed and a lot going on in the plate to I guess compensate for mediocre pancakes. Farmers Skillet was good. Sausage was the pest part. But eggs were too dry. Honestly this place is mid tier. Would go back to meet us for casual breakfast, but wouldn t recommend to someone to wow them.

Food was okay but I got up to go to the bathroom and my table was cleared without me even touching my pancakes that I paid 8 Dollars for. They gave me new ones but no butter. New coffee but no creamer or sweetener. No silverware. No ice water that I was planning to have after my coffee. The whole experience was ruined and I was too disgusted and mad so I didnt even touch the replacement pancakes. I paid my bill online, and just left. Sometimes sorry is just not enough. Oh but they made sure to charge me for everything though. Not coming back.

Havent had a good plate of waffles fruit and whipped cream since I was a kid. All top quality, even the fruit was completely fresh with no syrup. Good sized portions, unlike other breakfast places around Plano that give a fist sized waffle. Cant think of a single thing to complain about

The food was good, but on my way to the restroom I fell on wet slippery floors because the person who had mopped the floor did not post a wet floor sign and I did not see that the floors were wet. One of the employees saw me fall and just stood there without saying anything. Once she saw that the floors were so slippery that I cannot get up by myself, she finally came over to help, but no time after that did anyone come to see if I was ok. What has happened to common courtesy?

Dropped in for breakfast because the name was intriguing. It was NOT a mistake! Service was excellent and personable. Extremely friendly, with the kind of waitress banter youd expect from a diner youve been a regular at for years. Ordered the Manchester. Eggs were perfect, as were the sausage, home fries and pancakes. And there was a LOT of it. The only thing that would have made it 6 stars would have been a bloody mary! Come hungry.

Unfortunately not great, had been a few times before and breakfast basics were pretty decent- but on this last visit just ... well.. meh. Service although extremely friendly was lacking in execution (missed items ordered, forgot others and was busy so unable to fulfill simple request like jam before food was cold) All food came out mildly warm- bacon was several levels above overcooked, hasbrowns were at best cold, hard, not fresh. Its really disappointing bc my friend who I met and have met here used to love their offerings but was extremely disappointed. Her egg white omelet arrived full egg had to wait to remake, and server (who was so nice, just maybe too busy) had to retry but yet still came out a bit cold. Food temp being the biggest issue, and maybe the beyond well done bacon ( full disclosure server asked if I wanted crispy bacon which I declined, said no) The bread seemed a few days past prime and oatmeal is better left to a packet. This is really hard to write as our prior experiences were delicious, warm and everything above a late night IHOP run, at this point I left wishing we chose waffle house. With premium pricing its just hard to recommend this place.

My wife suggested this establishment because a friend recommended it. We popped in on an early Saturday. We walked into a warm & cozy restaurant. We were quickly greeted and seated in place of our liking. The decor in this place was inviting & fitting for a brunch place. A waiter took our order with a friendly mannerism. My wife ordered the crab cakes benedict, and I ordered the texas waffle. Food is out: Our was hot and appealing to the eye. Plus, we had large portions. However, my wife eggs had to be redone because they cooked the eggs too long. But, overall, it is a nice place to stop by from time to time.

Frequently out of items, and they wont tell you. My daughter and I went for breakfast, and her order was missing one of the major parts of the dish. After point this out, we were informed they were out of it, and then they attempted to still charge us full price for the dish even with the missing things. Hostess sat us at our booth and we sat for approximately 15 minutes before being greeted or offered drinks, at which point we were about ready to leave despite hearing how good the food was. We saw our waitress barely even 3 times the entire hour that we were there. 1st to order, 2nd to drop of our waters and coffees, 3rd after someone else brought us our food, and finally to leave the check without asking if we wanted any refills on our empty glasses or Togo boxes. The food here is good but the service is definitely sub-par. Especially when you re spending $50 on breakfast.

Saturday, Dec 16, 2:30-3:30pm Underwhelming. Business name, decor, and atmosphere showed great promise. The menu was full of so many delightful things--its one of those places where you want one of everything on the menu. However, the service was horrible. Id chalk this up to a combination of lack of training, lack of supervision, and possibly short staffing. 1. One waitress was handling 6-10 tables. I think she did her best but she can only do so much alone. 2. The team member who brought out the food just tried to put it in front of you, even if you were already eating the previous course. No training at all for this issue. 2 of us at a 4-top table?--just set it down over there in all that empty space, Sir. 3. When we got our order taken, the waitress asked if we needed more time to choose to which I quickly said, No, weve got to go soon. 4. I had coffee refilled twice. My wife had tea refilled 0 times. No water refills either. 5. Reuben sandwich came out without thousand island, and I finally got it after 10 minutes. 6. After we were finished eating, we sat for 10 more minutes waiting for wait staff to bring the check (remember I told them weve got to go...), and see if we needed take out boxes. 7. There was one staff member stuff sweetener packets and refilling condiments at empty tables, with zero situational awareness of several tables who were done eating and the one waitress could not do everything herself. I finally got up and stood by the front door as if I were a newly arriving customer. Only then did this one staff member jump up to see if I needed a table. Thats how I got to ask for to-go boxes and my check. We tipped based on the service we got but there was no place on the payment form (online system) to give feedback. I think the waitress was set up for failure because her teammates had no training, no customer awareness, and there was no manager supervising. Super disappointing. Gimmicks, fun atmosphere, and unique menus will bring people in, but without good service, theyll never come back. We will not be recommending this place to family and friends.

We drove 1 hr. To celebrate my husbands birthday. Our waitress never checked on us , never refill our drinks.had to ask someone els for To go boxes and they never brought them to us. And our waitress didnt even say sorry for any of it. Our food was good except the shrimp and grits. Too oily and no flavor what so ever.
