The waitress who served us at the table is the same person who charged us the bill. She wanted to charge us more than 20 dollars more. She served us canned cokes and wanted to charge us for 4 lemonades that we didnt order. That is an abuse on the part of the waitress and she returned the money to us. money that he overcharged us

Delicious taste and texture, quality n quantity, awesome prices Parking: Truly recommend this place for family gatherings to business meals: I enjoyed Chile rellenos w carne molida such a delight, tacos w bistec deliciously prepared. My family had Homemade tasty Beef Soup, generous pieces of beef and vegetables and A big plate of chilaquiles w chicken n beans Their coffee is unique taste, homemade corn and flour tortillas, lemonade is refreshing served in a pitcher(Jarra style) Amazing service always attentive with customers refill needs. Excellent spacious parking always. We live in McAllen, My family and me always go back, we go often, honestly, we prefer Gordita s Y Más than other franchisees or regular restaurants. Tried this restaurant for the first time. Very disappointed. Cashier had the worse attitude possible. She acted like ordering was a huge burden on her. Waited for over 20 mins for our drive thru order. Ordered gorditas. Which were not cooked fully and very dry. The taste of the fillings was horrible. Seems they just threw in random spices. Shouldve left it at pepper and salt. Wouldve tasted a whole lot better. First and last time going to this place.

If I could rate a negative one I would. Im in a wheelchair and having a hard time getting into restaurant. No courtesy, we ordered lemonade and my son a Sprite. He orders fajita tacos, plain with fries, no sides except fries. We ordered a botana, fajita, chicken, sausage. Before this we order choriqueso. We get our food, half an hour my son gets his tacos, with veggies in it. Sends it back another 15-20 minutes, now we get the chorizqueso. We were never asked for a refill on our drinks, I had to call out a waitress to get a refill. We were over charged for the refill at regular price. My sons food was cold too. Ill never go back. I visit different restaurants on a weekly basis. But this place Ill never go back. To top it off we asked for a receipt for our food and the cashier didnt want to give us a receipt, this makes me wonder why we were having a hard time getting the receipt. Appetizers come after drinks, then the main course we got everything at different times and appetizer at the end. Very unprofessional.

Food is very good and so is the service. The only thing I would change is the person that makes the tortillas. The flour tortillas become hard as soon as we open the foil paper, I believe that happens when you put alot of manteca and tha hand made corn are extremely thick. Other than that everything is good.

Best gorditas I have eaten in a loooooong time. Tasted like the ones my mom and I used to eat in Mexico! Good size portion for under $2. Salsas were the bomb.just be prepared for a long wait. Had to wait for 30 minutes for drive thru order, but employee was nice enough to apologize and explain that they were short staffed. If youre looking for employment, this looks like a nice place to work.

I would have given it a higher rating. The problem is that they forgot about us. After a long wait had to call them to remind them that we were waiting for our food curb side. Probably the best Mexican food I have had in the US. Menudo very rich with large pieces of pancita. Salsa habanero could rival any in Mexico. Green salsa also outstanding. Jamaica comes in a giant traditional Mexican style cup/pitcher with ice. I was so blown away by the food that I returned for Breakfast. Thier South Texas barbacoa has made my top 5. Eggs prepared perfect. Side potatoes in a red salsa is unique and delicious. Great flour tortillas. Everythiing is prepared with little to no grease. All food comes with condiments of onion, serrano, and limes. El Fantasma and Los dos de Tamaulipas on the TV to entertain. Great service.
