Horrible service and disrespectful attitude from Daniel- the manager on duty- a man with a little, obtuse mind and an overinflated ego : the epitome of incompetence, ineptitude and everything that`s wrong with this Home depot location. As a company Home Depot is a great enterprise with a lot of hard working and customer oriented employees- However, Daniel is totally the contrary- one might wonder how he get to be in the position he is- Miracles - on the negative side- happen I guess

I only give it 4 stars because what it needs is more friendly employees like Mr. Jose who works in the electrical area or Miss Paola in the painting area. Whenever they have assisted me they have helped me with the best attitude. Im not saying that they dont have more employees who help you in a good way, but in general they hide, evade you, etc. With their bad attitude they leave the business in a bad image. But in general they have very good warranty and refund policies.

Terrible customer service, we called 4 times to have them cut some wood for us, the person who was going to help us never arrived, when we left I told them again to call for the person to help us and they never showed up. Customer service is horrible. You have to run after the eployess to flag one down cause they pretend not to see you. When you finally get their attention, they help you with a horrible attitude. What happened to Home Depot they used to have qualified employees?!? They also do not have anything worth it in stock. You have to go to other locations to find anything other than nuts, bolts & cleaning supplies. Any other Home Depot location has the more qualified employees.

The one in Pharr is the worst. It used to be that they actually had men employees that could help you with any of your home improvement questions. Now they have little boys that dont know their left from their right. One of them even told me they dont cut wood at that store and left with a grin. I asked the next employee, walking around who did it for me. I dont know if Home Depot got these kids due to budget cut , but Pharr store needs to reevaluate ALL their staff. I will never again go back. I have heard other customers who have cringe stories as well and have walked out taking their money elsewhere. The HOME DEPOT stores in Weslaco or Mission has way better customer service. Better experience. Plus, the store is more equipped. You have to order everything worth it online in Pharr location. Bad experience , worst customer service.

The Pharr location of this store provides exceptional customer service. The employees consistently go the extra mile to fully assist customers. I want to express my gratitude to Mario, Alex, and Janie for their outstanding efforts in helping me acquire a Christmas decoration. Although the online app indicated the item was available, it turned out to be out of stock. Despite this discrepancy, they diligently checked their inventory and, upon confirming the item was indeed sold out, they went above and beyond by offering to sell me the display model. I ended up purchasing it, and their proactive and customer-focused approach made all the difference. I initially visited the North McAllen location, but unfortunately, they were not as helpful. Their response was limited to stating, if its not down there, then we dont have any.

Terrible experience. We asked for help because i was going to purchase two bath tubs. Waited and waited and nobody came. When we were leaving i told the kid who was cutting boxes thanks for your non help to which he replied well the store is closed dude. I told him we got here before obviously before you closed since the doors were open. He then laughed and said go to lowes. So here I am at lowes. Update: Complete turnaround. Both of these locations here in McAllen are sorely lacking on decent management and courteous employees. They never gather the carts and have them in the store. Neither location. Yesterday, I had to follow a guy to his truck and help him unload to be able to even have a lumber cart. Im in these stores everyday and I have been treated like Im stealing at both locations every time Im in there. You cant ever get to the contractor loading area it has been blocked off all week. My company spends millions at home depot every year and I have been all over the country and these locations have been the worst experiences I have had to date. Im glad Lowes treats there customers a lot better here. So that is where I will go for the next 2 weeks while Im in town working.

Came here to make a return and was told they couldn t do it that their policy didn t let them without a receipt. I requested a store credit and they denied it. I wouldn t be making a review if their policy said otherwise but it states that a receipt-less return gives you store credit but the associate their didn t care to acknowledged that. I m sure Lowe s would of handled it better.

I purchased 48 boxes of tile and had them delivered, three of the boxes broke during shipment, Jorge at the returns desk was incredibly helpful even went to get them and put them in a cart for me. Clearly above and beyond, great customer service.
