Was excited to chow down on a cheeseburger, just a plain Angus burger with some lettuce, cheese and tomato. Next thing I see is some poorly applied sauce that was NOT listed on the website when I ordered. They dont even call it sauce in the remove something option, they call it seasoning which can easily be mistaken for some sprinkles of pepper on the beef. If I was allergic to even anything in the unlisted sauce, I wouldve taken legal action. Thankfully Im not. You cant put something in food that isnt listed on your website and menu. Was seriously disappointed by the quality of my food this day. Service was to be expected from unqualified teenagers with bad customer service. Was ignored after we asked for our pickup order. Seriously, do better.

Updated review. The waitress didnt tell me I had a choice of sides. I overheard her telling the next table that ordered the same size about choice of sides. My husband didnt eat his green beans. He said they were barely warm. My main complaint with Cotton Patch is the consistency of luke warm sides. Please wait to put the sides on the plate right when main dish is ready. Food was delicious; we had chicken fries steak. The waitress was very attentive. Very good, and it was their 30-year anniversary Update: My husband and I went yesterday. The waitress was very nice and helpful. We both ordered the grilled shrimp off of the two for 22$ menu. The shrimp was delicious nice size My sides were mashed potatoes and okra. The potatoes were slightly warm but not hot. The okra was seasoned well and just barely warm, too. The shrimp comes on a bed of rice; it was gummy, you could tell it had been sitting for a while. We did come around 3:30 pm and probably wont do that again. I did eat half of my vegetables. My husbands sides were green beans and fries. He said the beans were good, and the fries were barely warm The waitress and the shrimp will get us to come back. The cooks need to make sure the food is hot. I wouldnt serve my guest food this slightly warm.

Our first time to eat here , our waitress was very nice. She did a great job answering questions we had, she was very pleasant and check on us often. Menu has lots to choose from, hard to decide it all looked good. We had fried mushrooms to start , they were very good. My wife chose a grilled chicken salad she said it was very good, large portion. I had the fish and shrimp it was good . The shrimp was great , the fried fish was good , I just prefer mine to be a Lil more crispy and flake apart. The sides were great , the cheesy broccoli rice was very good . The hush puppies were very good too. Overall we were pleased with our meals, would like to try some of the other meals next ! My experiences was great because, although I was missing aside and called back about it the manager said he would make it up by letting me have a appetizer the next time I ordered for free. The waitress was friendly and attentive without being worrisome. What stands out the most, however, is how great the food was. I had eaten at the one in Palestine quite a few years back. I remember the food being good, but not this good. The pricing is good and the quality of the food was first class. I going to work them in to ny schedule once per week. One star deducted because of the wait. Granted, it was quite busy when I went but I occasionally saw the servers standing and talking. I waited about ten minutes before someone asked what I wanted to drink. Come on now. The food on the other hand was absolutely phenomenal. I got the Avocado Bacon Burger and it was delicious. I would highly recommend, I give it a 9.3/10 (Sorry for not adding a picture, it got devoured before I could take one). The fries were given in a small portion and needed some salt but, other than that, they were good. They were a solid 6.8/10

While traveling I always try to go to a local/regional inspired restaurant instead of the larger nationwide chains. Cotton Patch was an excellent choice. Happened upon it while driving to meet a client this morning. Great, comfortable atmosphere with excellent service. My steak was cooked perfect, my potatoes were fully loaded, and my salad was cold and fresh! Refills kept coming! Give them a try if youve never been, toubwonttbe disappointed. The menu changes monthly, and Im not happy with the changes. The vegetable plate is now $12 (up from $8-10) and broccoli is now a premium side which costs more. It didnt used to be premium. My fiance said that the squash casserole was mostly squash skin and not as good as usual. Sautéed mushrooms has been off the menu for a while and they were a favorite of mine. We frequented Cotton Patch a lot and were able to get exactly what we wanted at a fair price, but now we feel that we cant do that. We feel that Cotton Patch is pricing itself out of our budget, which is a shame because it has always been one of our go-to restaurants. Its just disappointing because it used to be so good.

The meatloaf was too salty the green beans tasted like vinegar. We did not receive any refills on our drinks, nor were we ever asked if we needed any. My husband and I have gone to Cotton Patch to many times to count over the years an have always enjoyed the food. Tonight I ordered the Beef Tips over garlic mashed potatoes and my husband had the fried fish. My meal was so full of black pepper all throughout that s all I could taste. The waitress came over and I told her I couldn t eat it. She asked if I wanted something different and my husband said he would share his dinner with me. She promptly stated she would take it off of our bill. Then later came back an stated that I could have a free dessert. We got the peach cobbler and it was awesome. But never once did the manager come by the table to speak to us. We received our bill and the Beef-tips were still on there. I questioned her and she stated he wouldn t let me remove it that s why you got the free dessert. I was appalled by this. She kept apologizing and we told her it wasn t her fault. And it wasn t. He/she should have come over to the table and spoke to us. I told her to let the manager know that my husband was a veteran and we would let everyone we know how I was treated. Very very disrespectful. The manager should be ashamed themselves. The only great thing was our server Abigale, she gets 5 Stars.

This was my first visit to the Patch. I had a BLT. The bread was perfect, greenest lettuce Ive seen in a while, dark red tomatoes, and delicious thick cut bacon. I will say the fries were a bit soggy. I also had the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It was steaming hot and delicious. It would easily serve 2 people. My server, Hollie, was a treasure. Whoa Cotton Patch! What happened? This is usually my go-to restaurant, but tonight was certainly not up to par. I went to use a 20% off e-mail coupon and was planning on having a nice ribeye, but they have removed the ribeye from the menu. So, I opted for the pork chop, but they were out, so I decided on the Cajun Duo but they were out of it too! Guys, it s Sunday night at 5:30. You are about to be really busy and your out of two major entrees - go figure. I ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer while I pondered the menu. I settled for the filet and it was well cooked but it didn t have much flavor and really just wasn t what I had my mouth set on. Also, during the entire meal my waitress seemed in a rush when she was at the table. It wasn t that busy and they appeared to have ample staff, but for some reason I felt hurried, which negatively added to the overall experience. Also, I asked for additional gravy for the mushrooms two different times but never saw it. As I was paying my bill, I heard a child order Dr Pepper to drink and the waitress explaining that they were out of Dr Pepper, go figure! The manager did give me a BOGO coupon as I left, but pretty sure it will be a while before I try again.

I ve ordered to-go from this location a couple of times within the past couple of months. The first time I got slices of bread on my three cheese bacon burger. I ve ordered this previously and always got burger buns, but I guess they found a cheaper alternative and use slices of untoasted bread now. Second time I ordered I got the chipotle maple chicken. The piece of chicken breast was extremely small compared to the picture they have on their menu. I also found not one but two hairs in it. This used to be my favorite place to eat, I would tell everyone to try this place. But now I ll be telling everyone to avoid this place.

I will not return to any Cotton Patch restaurant. I refuse to pay for food I do not like. This is the only restaurant I know of anywhere that has something as a side on the menu that is served with everything. Two things I do not like are mashed potatoes and garlic. Been In Wichita Falls 3 days one bad meal after the next, and then we tried the Cotton Patch. Wonderful experience great food, great service, great experience. Kudos to the management team. Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot.

I love this place but my last visit was a shock. I ordered fried green tomatoes wich are always amazing but was blown away to be served exactly 5 thin slices of tomato for a total of $6.85. This is a price gouge. Probly will never order that again so sad.

Cotton Patch can always be counted on for a quality meal at a fair price. It is one of our regular eateries and we are never disappointed. The service is always spot on (even though our all-time favorite waitress Aspen has moved away) and the manager is both friendly and welcoming to all patrons. The atmosphere is casual but well kept. I can see us keeping The Cotton Patch in our regular rotation of local favorite eateries for many more years.

I ate at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon. Food was good but I didn t get what I ordered (chicken fried steak)and wasn t even offered bread. Service poor but I recognize I m a single senior citizen and waitress didn t think her tip would be good. Fooled her and tiped 50%. Since it is my last time there felt it only appropriate to prove you shouldn t treat seniors like we are worthless.
