Tried this place this morning after a friend recommended it. First of all, you dont get to the menu until you get to the window so you dont have time to ponder your order. The teen at the window was no help as she basically just asked me, What do you need? I ordered a blended snowy and when I asked for a breakfast croissant with sausage, she said, We dont have that...even though they clearly offered other sandwiches with sausage on them according to the menu. It took nearly 10 minutes to get my sandwich and when I got it, it tasted rubbery as if it had been in the microwave too long. My blended coffee tasted like milk with a little coffee in it. AND after eating the sandwich, I noticed the date 7/17 on it and today is 7/24!!!! I was a whole week OLD!!! For $15, I could have went elsewhere for better service, options and fresher, better tasting food. Waste of my money and time!

I decided to try this place because I saw they had matcha on the menu. I m a big fan of matcha so I was excited to try their iced matcha latte. It was just awful. It was very watery and didn t taste like matcha at all. The color was really off so I knew they used bad quality matcha :( Staff was super sweet though.

The Human Bean is my all time favorite goto coffee shop. I wouldn t suggest the breakfast sandwiches though. The coffee is fantastic and the coffee bean is the icing on the already awesome cake. And the staff they have always been courteous and efficient as they prepare the good stuff. Sorry, Star*%^ and all the others out there. The Human Bean has my vote!

I ve been living in Pflugerville for over 12 years now and I ve always struggled to find good matcha here. I always have to drive into Austin for matcha. And I am an avid matcha drinker, I usually order mine from Japan! But sometimes I just want someone else to make it for me. This is the best matcha I ve had in pflugerville! It s the perfect sweet level. And they put enough matcha! I usually always have to ask for extra matcha in my drinks but I forgot to hear and I was surprised how green the drink was. I ordered through Uber eats to try for the first time as I am at work and the drink was packaged very nicely as well and taped up so that it did not spill. If you like matcha this is the best in the pflugerville and round rock area! I also got a bagel from here. It wasn t anything to rave about. And a muffin top which was good.

This is hands down the best coffee place in all of Austin. They open early they stay late. Every barista is so friendly and professional. One of the baristas actually does a shaken espresso latte for me and it s amazing. I cannot give this place enough accolades. The quality of the beans to the quality of the service is more than you see anywhere nowadays. Keep up the good work!

Fist time trying and first impression. The baristas who took our order very kind and patient since we didn t know what to order. First visit and loved the Java Chip and had a good laugh with my son about what s that bubble coming out the top?! He said no mom that s a bean! In fact, I found myself paying significantly less than I would at a chain coffee shop like Starbucks. But its not just the affordability that sets The Human Bean apart. This chain is very efficient. There are 2 drive through lanes with one on each side of the building. The walk up window was a bit confusing because customers were standing in a drive-through lane placing their order. After their order was placed, a very large pickup truck went reverse through the drive-through to place their order. It was a bit alarming. I stood in front of the walk up window that they didn t seem really keen on using. When they did open the third window, they were friendly and helpful. I love the coated coffee bean given on the top of each coffee order. It s a nice personal touch. I got a double shot of espresso with brevè over ice. It was a decent double shot but nothing extremely special except the espresso bean on top. I would visit again due to its convenience. The name of the coffee shop weirds me out a bit. I wouldn t have named it that. They had a decent breakfast and lunch menu.

To make things easier for everyone, I picked out what I wanted from the online menu before ordering. Then when I made my order one of the staff rudely said they didn t have what I wanted and that it was on the menu. Attitude is everything and theirs was a hostile one. Then when I ordered what I wanted and stated three times that it was a blended drink, I was given an iced drink. The staff working today doesn t care and it shows. Saw this coffee shop in the area and wanted to try something other than Starbucks so I stopped by. The presentation of the coffee is cute, but when I took a sip I felt as if I was drinking coffee-flavored water. I m assuming the ice put in the coffee was already half melted because It wasn t even a hot day at 34 degrees outside and to have the ice melt in 10 minutes means the ice must ve already been almost melted. The snowy mocha is good especially if you enjoy sweet coffee as I do. You can add/take away espresso or the sweetener. I did try a breakfast bagel sandwich and I didn t enjoy it. There was just no flavor to the breakfast inside the bagel & no jelly or cream cheese was given. The customer service is always satisfying. Human Bean? Not very humane. For a time, we drove all the way from Round Rock for their coffee because it was high quality, friendly service, and an overall good vibe. After a while, their coffee quality started to decline (lack of flavor, watery, wrong orders, etc). This got frustrating due to the long drive and amount of times we had to do this. We had to call back several times and ask to remake the drinks due to their watered-down, flavorless consistency as we had just paid money and used the gas to get there (gas is not cheap in Austin). In the process of their steady decline, the managers husband called my car UGLY while he was taking my order (Im not joking!!). We let the manager know, and he called me back to apologize. Finally, we call back yet again to have them remake our order. The manager was extremely rude, gaslit us, pointed out that it was our problem in a snide manner, and HUNG UP ON US. There are much better coffee shops with more consistency, better service, and employees who dont insult you or hang up on you.

I order through UberEats/GrubHub for this coffee! Only thing I want to recommend is adding seals to the drinks as theyre being delivered by a random person. Cover the straw hole and seal down the lid! Tamper proof deliveries!

I m so addicted to the granitas it s not even funny. I m not even a coffee drinker but their frozen drinks are tasty on a hot summer day. Everyone has been chill and I can t recommend it enough. I love that they re not full of sugar and syrup.
