Waffle House Waffle House Waffle House Is so wonderful and I could eat every meal there if possible. I literally grew up eating in diners with my granddad. Madison or Maddy the waitress is very rude. In fact 3 women that were working over night sat at a table talking while the place was a wreck. Had to ask the guy who was getting off at 4am to clear a spot as he was trying to clean up. Then asked him to take our order because the 3 women ignored us. 1 was the cook and the other 2 were waitress. They sat there while all the tables were full of dishes and the complete bar was a wreck.

I just cant give even 3 stars to a business that doesnt take phone orders. Food is usually on point. Service is slow, but again they force you to go in and its just impracticle/stupid. I dont like dine in and want to order ahead of time, BUT YOUR APP IS NOT CAPABLE OF CUSTOMIZATIONS so its literally unfunctional. Basically giving up on giving them my money. Get a functional app that allows ALL OF THE THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH A HUMAN WHEN YOU CALL, and youd have a business fit for any year past 2000. This is not one.

I went to Waffle House with the idea of not ordering a waffle! Ive enjoyed their waffles in the past, getting the pecan, nutty, like you! variation! A visit almost a year ago to WH was a disappointment with the change in the waffle size, almost the size of the toaster variety! Big disappointment! My eggs, sausage, and scattered- smothered hashbrowns were good & met my expectations! I informed my date from our waffle disappointment visit that I was at WH & she said, How could you? Told her it was easy, I didnt order a waffle!

PREVIOUS POST - Go here all the time and have always had good service and good food... CURRENT POST - This is long but I hope someone from Corporate reads this. Okay went here today and it all went to hell. As u can see, I previously gave them a great review, but had to take it all back. Went in today, sat down and waited 45 minutes before they even called our food out to be dropped. No big deal, it was busy. We sat right by the booth closest to the Meat Cook and couldnt help but pay attention as we watched him burn at least 30-40 pieces of bacon. No big deal, maybe he was having a bad day and people were eating their burnt bacon so oh well. Then he opened the freezer next to him, and the pan of frozen cheese steaks fell out the freezer and on the floor right in front of us, yes the DIRTY waffle house floor. Atleast 3 or 4 cheesesteaks came out of the pan onto the floor. Without missing a beat, he picked ONE up threw it in the trash and put the rest back IN THE PAN and threw the pan back in the freezer. We immediately told our waitress what we saw...she did or said nothing! She did not tell the manager or anyone! He immediately began cooking those SAME FLOOR CONTANIMATED CHEESESTEAKS a little while later when the lady at the bar next to us noticed her chicken sandwich was undercooked.. then heres the best part..OUR SAME WAITRESS....offered the lady a Cheesesteak instead!!!! We quickly warned the lady and when she realized THATS what he dropped earlier, it was too late...he was already cooking them...she of course told our waitress to cancel it and told her why... and then our waitress comes to our table to DEFEND the contaminated meat by saying..it has a little piece of paper in between each Cheesesteak as if that MATTERED! NOW she had to tell the MGR since cooked food was being cancelled...so NOW she escalated it all by calling the manager over who had previously tried to Comp our Meal for the almost hour long wait. I told the Manager ( who was very professional) to forget it all,Ill pay for my meal...I asked for my ticket and went to the front to pay and our waitress tried to explain AGAIN , and I told her I didnt care anymore, I just wanted to pay my ticket and leave...she rung me up..I paid and asked for a copy of the receipt...she got mad, took the receipt off the cash register...stapled it, threw the stapler down hard and turned and walked away to the back without giving me a copy.. her peer saw it all and tried to assist but the manager came back to the front and apologized for the waitress actions and gave me the receipt. Dont believe me????? PLEASE watch the video or ask the Manager, her name is Korry or at least thats what she told me. We will never eat here again...if hes cooking Cheesesteak off that filthy floor, and then lying about it to the managers face when she questioned him after we WATCHED him do it, then what else is going on with the food??? The only good thing about this location is the Manager..I never advocate for anyone to lose their job BUT!!!!.that waitress and that cook should be RETRAINED immediately..Im writing this considering calling the health department! #NEVERAGAIN

Went in at 8:35pm 3 waiters working on Saturday night shift. There were no other customers. They refused to wait on us or even acknowledge us sitting there. I heard their conversation that they were clocking out at 9, so I guess that s why we were ignored. Extremely rude. We left at 8:49pm and no one ever said a word.

I went in for a to go order and when i got home, i realized they gave me the wrong order. I was blessed to meet Ms Kim at the Deer Park location who I would say is a dedicated employee. She worked both Christmas and New Years. We were greeted immediately and taken care of promptly. Food was good, but came in with my fiancé, his brother, his brothers wife and their 1 year old. Then the waitress says something about babies and the girl in the blue rock star cook shirt and hat says out loud to where everyone can hear (I m paraphrasing, but this is the gist of what she said) I had a friend who was pregnant and was awful and I just wanted to cut her open and rip the baby out of her like why would you say that at all, but especially around customers who have children there and who are pregnant? I have been to many of these restaurants and I must say this location is by far hands down the best!! The cleanliness, the people, the food! All top notch!! This is the best waffle house in the area hands down. Its the people that make this one the best. There is just a good vibe in here. Had breakfast with my daughter today. I get the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with hashbrowns covered the secret sauce is the key to this meal. Try waffle house sauce if you havent. Like a spicy mayo. They kept my coffee full and even offered free to go coffee. Awesome.

Stopped in for coffee with a friend, it was rather nice.had one of the employees talk to us several times and kept our cups hot and fill. This locations A/C unit is broken, and the place was uncomfortably cold. We sat down to eat, and my family could not enjoy our time due to the coldness. So we asked for our order to-go. We have been eating at Waffle Houses for over 20 years and were caught off guard by the to-go fees. Yes, fees since Waffle House now charge apparently two 10 % charges for a total of 20 % for to-go orders. Then, after getting to our car and opened the to-go bag, only to see that they did not give us plastic silverware to eat with, napkins, or the jalapeños that we asked for. If we are paying 20 % extra for the to-go compensation and materials, then for goodness sake, give us the materials that we apparently bought. As for the food in terms of Waffle House it was a D -. The cook seemed more interested in finishing the food as quickly as possible to get to the back room.

I would like to start off by thanking Cook Carter for the candid conversation she and I had. Carter is sooooooooooo personally vested in her job and work area. Carter has been with Waffle House for 20 years; it shows. I have never been in such a CLEAN Waffle House such as this one. Carter said she HAS to have her cooking area very clean. She was like a mistro ripping so many plates at one time like it was nothing. My food came out hot and delicious just the way I like it. I certainly look forward to coming back to this location. The sweet tea was just right and not overly sweet. Thanks again to Carter for a very clean atmosphere, hot meal and candid conversation. Carter should be emulated by others that is for sure. All staff said hi - come on in. Were here often enough we know the staff. We dont even get in the door and Jessica has our coffee down, what we take in it ready. I noticed the other servers provided that same home town feel even tho today most places do not. We drive past 3 other locations just to get this excellent service. Thank you Ms. Jessica for 6 years of amazing service. All the staff is to be commended. Unfortunately I cant remember their names. Oh and their chef, that fella can flat out get that food out fast, hot & delish! Parking: Plentiful parking, well lit, clean. I sometimes dine before God goes to work and I fell perfectly safe. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband never has any difficulty finding handicap parking. We are grateful for Waffle House honoring our vets.

As usual it was great. We keep going back. The servers are all friendly and great. The cooks always fixes my foood exactly how I want it. Kid-friendliness: They are very good with kids.
